Great astronomy teacher, tests are easy, if you use study guide.

He is a great teacher, he has a lot of real world experience with Astronomy, and he is fun to learn from.

Class is very easy and professor is nice. His tests are completely off the study guide. He only has a few assignments that take a few minutes to do. He also requires a 2 page paper that he basically gives you credit for doing.

He is very easy for your science credit. Hardly any math in this class. The tests are what is on the study guide and you can fill them out in class durring the discusion. Highly recommend.

If you need an easy science credit take this course. Possibly the easiest class I have taken here at UVSC.

Good teacher and knows his stuff about this subject. I enjoyed the class because he made it fun, he gives you a study guide that the exactly resembles the test so if you just go to class and get answers you will pass the class. very little homework and very easy.

Great teacher.. Memorize study guides and you will get an A. His computer crashed and gave everyone A's for most of the semester. Great teacher...

Like everyone said... EASY! Show up the day of the review, fill in the answers to the study guide, memorize the study guide, and ace the test. Not very interesting class although it's so EASY! Lee is kind of a grumpy old grandpa, sweet but can get cranky! =0)

great teacher. he knows his stuff too. Take a tape recorder on the days he is giving his reviews. then go home and listen to them you'll A's every test.

this old guy is easy and fun. as long as you go to class and do all of the homework youll do great. don't tke the 7:00 am class though it's really hard to stay awake in that room, the chairs are way to comfy!

Awesome Guy!! Test are so easy! Question #1 States: "There are 7 rings around Jupiter what are they made of." Question #2 States: "How many Rings are around Jupiter?" As you can see, this is how the whole test is. Sit Close to the front if you want to hear and maybe stay awake!!

Funny guy, and about a million years old! He dosen't care if you go to class or not, but do! It was an easy A, and I learned a lot. Test reviews are helpful. It kept my attention.

This class was so fun! I loved Mr. Lee. He is funny sometimes just because he is so old and senile! Seriously, three of the four answers on his last test were popcorn, ice, and pizza, and then the right answer. It is a fun class, without the hard included! You have to do one astrolab during the class, but that was so funny I nearly wet my pants

What a stud!! This guy knows everything. He worked for NASA but is still a very easy going teacher. My wife thinks he's cute, because he is so old. I learned a lot in his class and I laughed every day in it. Take this class!!

Well, besides the fact he is like 90 years old, he was an awesome teacher. Very easy tests, class was a little boring, but I would highly recommend this professor to any one who is looking for an easy grade.

For as much knowledge this man knows about the subject, he is humble in not trying to cram every piece of information down your throat like some other professors I know! Don't worry, I gave those other professors a bad rating to save you the trouble.

Do his homework assignments (EASY) and memorize the study guid he gives you before tests (1-2 hours probably) and you will walk away with an A. I walked away with 99% and I only attended 5 classes that semester (not recommended but POSSIBLE)

He is very boring to listen to. Very easy class. I never went and got an A. I just went on the test days and did the assignments. Don't buy the book you don't need it. He gives you all the info you need on slides.

Good class, dont miss tests and do homework and go to planaterium and write a 4 page paper and you have an A. the sylabus is pretty accurate, but i recomend going most of the time and just bailing out early if ya dont need to be there. DO NOT buy the book. never even opened mine. he gives you all the info you need.

Lee is a breeze. Don't buy the book. Just study the online review notes and your set. Class attendance isn't required, and if you go, you can just sleep through his class. Make sure you don't miss the test and do the homework-really easy- Cool Guy

He is such a really cute old guy. one time my class made him laugh so hard he had to wipe tears away. I almost thought we would give him a heart attack because he is older. He is way sweet and will work around any problem you have. Oh and he is way easy too. I didn't learn as much as i would with a really hard teacher but i did learn quite a bit.

Professor Lee is such a sweet man. He understands that you are taking the class because it is a GE. If you want an easy A take his class!

He is an awesome teacher! He made it very interesting! I took it in the summer and didn't miss one class hour. I felt like it was a very enriching class and one that you don't have to stress about over your grade because as long as you study for the tests and do the homework you have a very good chance of getting an A!

If you have a job(like i do) and can't make the Astro lab(9pm) (door is locked if you are 1 minute late) then you will go from A to a C+ like I did. That is stupid! He hands out study guides that have all the answers to the tests so you can go to class and sleep or do homework and if he says something important you can be there for it.

Easy class. He gives you study guides with the test anwers o it (word for word), and tests are all multiple choice. Some options on the test are bogus, making it that much easier. Don't buy the book - waste of money, he never uses it.

Tests are easy but if you don't do the lab (9:00pm) you will go from an A to a C+ like I did so it sucks. That and he is boring ZZZZZ.

Everyone's comments are still true. He is very old and very easy. Don't buy the text, go to class, study the study guide he gives and you can get at least a B on all tests. The presentation is soooo easy. The homework is fairly easy. Class is a snooze but you will pass.

Lee's astronomy class was a little on the boring side but you can just go to sleep anyway....I don't think he minds. Make sure you do well on the boring homework assignments because they can come back to bite you. Gives you a study guide for the coming test to make it easy on you. Easy class and easy to do well in.

Really easy class and very interesting. Just use the study guides word for word and you will be fine. I got B because I didn't study for the first test and didn't write my name on the last. You have to make stupid mistakes not to get an A. Almost no work required, 3 assignments. VERY interesting class if you like astronomy at all. Dont buy the text

Super easy. Just go to class. Everything on the test comes from his lecture notes, and he doesn't expect you to know anything about astronomy before going to class. He realizes that it is an "Into" class.

Prof.Lee was awesome! He made class fun and you will for sure pass the class. Great teacher, interesting class! Unfortunatly I only had him for 1/2 a semester due to him getting sick. Avoid Prof. Dayton!

Prof. Lee is soooo cute! He laughs at his own jokes and is very interested in what he teaches. He used to work for NASA, so he knows his stuff. The class was very boring though. I hardly studied and pulled a B+. You don't need the book!

T.Lee, Easy class work, take notes because things he says will be on test. He may look like he's rambling, but he uses those same rambles as questions on his test. I seemed never to get past a 79 on his test. No Text book, notes on his website. Grades on Curve. Study Online Notes and Power point.

take the class early morning, because you can sleep in more and review his lecture slides online. funny old teacher, not much homework and no reading. tests are fairly simple, all the material is always covered and accessible.. if not an easy A you'll get a B

Great teacher!!! I did horrible on all of his tests(Honestly I failed all of them except the final one), but I still passed with a c plus. He is an awesome teacher. He let me turn in a ton of late homework. He was a really good teacher!!!Very funny. Easy a or in my case easy c.

I always skipped his class, and I got an A. If you a miss a class all the lessons are online. His first test is pretty hard, but that's just so he can get rid of kids in his class cuz their really full, but after that it's all downhill and really easy...BUT it's SO boring!

Tom is a nice guy and has a genuine interest in each student and the subject matter. I went to class rarely but turned in assignments and took tests when I did. He tests straight from his slides and makes them pretty straight forward. It's an easy credit but I took it at 7 am so I could miss it without penalty. :)

Professor Lee is a very nice old guy and you know he loves his subject but he rambles a lot! His class is really easy if you study for the tests and it's best if you attend class because he does in-class quizzes to reward those who actually show up. Some people who never show up for class get better grades than those who study for the tests.

This class was easy a little homework no textbook. his lectures and test questions come from his powerpoints which he posts online. attendance is not mandatory and you can still pass the class. he is interested in making sure everyone passes. he knows his class is easy and likes to keep it that way. It's a bit boring but recommended

Prof Lee is old, but a good professor who teaches well. If people say its hard to stay awake in class its because the seats are too comfy and the room is darkened. Great class. Easy to get a good grade. No textbook. 5 exams. No comprehensive. One oral and written report as well as 3 or 4 homework assignments. Great class to take! Highly recommended

Such an easy class! He posts all of his power points on his website and you are not required to attend class. As long as you take notes during his "test reviews" you'll do great on the tests. There is no book, you are required to go to one AstroLab, and there is one paper due. Sign up for his class early because it fills up fast. Take his class!

I took it during the summer. Professor Lee is a great professor. He knows what he is teaching. Tests are right from the review sheet. One report - only 2-3 pages. Quizzes randomly, but not a big part of your great. One AstroLab. Very easy, I would recommend it. Professor is helpful as well.

Highly recommend Prof. Thomas Lee's Astronomy class. Great class to take during summer. To repeat what's already been said, notes all online, attend class for quizzes and homework assignments & tests. He strictly follows syllabus which is helpful in knowing what to expect.

Great teacher. He doesn't overburden you with course work. I had a heavy load this summer so I only put minimal amount of time into this class and still somehow got an A. It seems that if you at least make an effort and turn everything in, he will give you an A. Nice guy, very funny, very fair!

Very easy if you show up to class and pay attention to the lectures. He doesn't require a textbook and doesn't believe in "busy work". There are a few homework assignments during the semester but they're pretty easy.

LOVED THIS CLASS! It wasn't as easy as I was expecting from the previous comments but it was fun. Tests make up most of your grade so if you're a bad test taker than I would suggest a different class. He is easy to work with and the assignments are EASY. Just make sure to study for the tests.

He is my favorite professor by far! The fact that he worked for NASA during the glory years adds flavor to his humor and his knowledge.

Does not use any textbook. You will want to print off the notes on his website (www.astro1010-lee.com) and fill out and add information as you go. He takes all his test questions from the notes and slide show. He goes on a lot of tangents and many fell asleep. Super smart, super interesting class. Recommend it!

His tests are verbatim from the lecture notes (which he puts online). You have 3 homework assignments that are due on the first 3 test days.. so make sure you turn those in and you'll get an A.

He is VERY old so he sidetracks a lot, but he KNOWS his stuff and wants you to succeed! 2-3 homework assignments, be sure to DO THEM! 1 essay and 3 quizzes. Easy class over all, if you do the work.
