he explains clearly n assign helpful homeworks which u turn in for points(u get full credit for doing it), and exams covers only stuffs from his lecture notes, so just listen to the class n study the notes n u'll ace it

Lewandowski is an excellent teacher, he is always willing to make himself available to help his students. His lectures are very clear, however, his tests are a bit difficult. I would recommend others to take him!

Awkward personality,not personal,loved it. Good teacher,knows it all.I took the AP Calc Exam and passed it (4) in HS,but in this class I wasn't owning everything.I couldn't rely on homework to save me since we didn't turn it all in.The tests covered everything and were straight-forward but if I didn't know something,I'd find out during the test.

having bombed the first quiz and 1 test. helped me out with homework and study sections. hard to keep up homework when behind but after all passed the class with the final. homework helped grade very good teacher knows his****. for those who failed it was on them. i slacked the first 3 weeks but the last part i banged it out.

God's gift to the math department! I used to hate math, but thanks to him i just sort of dislike it now. He explains things clearly, step by step. Only gives you homework on things he has covered. He is really nice and patient, and welcomes questions with a smile. If you fail it then your just lazy and or dumb. plain and simple

Prof. Lewandowski is very quiet and too nice! He gives homework everyday! The only thing I did not like was that from all the homework we did he would only collect 2 random sections when the test would come. So if you are planning to take him, make sure you do all the hwk. On the Final Exam he put together everything.

I hate math (HATE IT) but I enjoyed it with him and actually learned everything in the process without having to go through a nervous breakdown as I usually do in math. I dropped math 150 very early on thx to the teacher who was much like the previous teachers I hated but I'm hoping to find mr lewandowski next semester to take it with him

Prof. Lewandowski is a great math instructor. He is very direct and clear, to the point. He collects two random sections of HW before each exam and will give full credit if they are complete. His exams are extremely similar to his lecture material, so just take good notes and you will be fine. Take Lewandowski if you really want to learn!

You need to know your material before taking the class! He's good but goes VERY quickly! He grades 2 sections out of every 2 chapters. He knocks points for any little thing on the exams. So you need to know what you're doing. Definitely not willing to let you slide not even a bit. It's a hard class but possible if you try. REALLY HARD

teacher was great. explained everything clear! and if you ask him to do another example he is willing to do it. answers hw questions. homework assignments were assigned but not due until test date and will choose 2 assignments at random to grade. overall great teacher. i took him for math 40 and math 60.

Professor L is a pretty good math professor. He takes time to explain concepts at a nice pace. The amount of homework was average of that given in this level of math. His quizzes and tests however need a lot of preparation. I clutched the last quiz and final nailing a B rather than a C (whew). Study the material and notes. Especially NOTES!

I should thank this professor, his teacher style is extremely good, you guy will learn more about math, especially in higher level of math. He is hard though, but study your note some quizzes are just the same problem in the note, study hard and you will get a good grade, i get a B rather a C at the end, he is really easy for the final exam too.

Great teacher if you need help see him during office hours, you only need the book for the questions and answers. Goes over any and all homework questions first thing when he walks in, also homework is not too bad.

He is really good at teaching math. Most professors are not. He is clear, explains everything including his expectations of students learning and understanding capabilities, as well as what is going to be on the test. He reviews material, answers all questions regarding hmwk and test review problems first thing in class. Great teacher!!!

I never used book, waste of money. He is an easy and good professor. Very clear and good notes. Nice Person. 1st test was little hard, other test easy. Take him you wont regret. Not many point so try to get all A's on test. 4 test (4*100), 5 quiz drops 1(25*4), 1 final(150)

like any math class, you won't pass if you keep missing important notes. homework isn't mandatory, but it works great to burn the lesson into your mind for the tests and quizzes.

Great professor he teaches it really well and goes through it with details so you shouldn't get lost. A lot of homework but it helps you learn and only collects random ones so do them early! I will take him again when I see he is teaching the math I need.

Great math instructor, VERY clear and very nice when it comes to answering any questions/ homework problems. I took math 60 in a 9 week session (Hybrid Course) as well, so lectures were fairly long covering up to 4 sections a day. Expect Homework! He doesn't collect till the exam date, but make sure you don't slack on HW or else you'll never finish

He is a great math teacher! I think every math teacher should explain the steps how he does. He makes me feel as if math is easy! I am not a math person but when I'm in his class everything makes sense and time flies! Don't get me wrong, its not an easy A but if you do pay attention and show up, you'll understand math a lot better. Will take again.

The quiz and test is the same as the reviews just different numbers. he made math so much easier to understand and was very helpful when answering any questions. he also gave you alternate ways to solve the problems.

I definitely recommend Prof. Lewandowski for anyone struggling with Math 80. I failed this class twice before with different professors. He carefully goes through all the material and is willing to re-do problems with you and guide you through the problems. Took an online class so no lecture input. However, Prof Lewandowski was always very informative when it came to his online students, I never felt left out or alone. His communication and assistance were great.

Overall, a great math professor. He is very straightforward and makes it easy for you to understand such a hard subject. I recommend doing the homework he gives, though heavy, it is really helpful to the point where it'll actually help you do good on his tests. Speaking of tests, he gives study guides that is pretty much similar to the test.

Doing all the homework will help you be better prepared for the quizzes and tests. his lectures are extremely helpful and be sure to take notes. when you have a question defiantly ask because he can help you understand the problem. he has time to meet outside of class as well.

His online class consists of homework, quizzes, and 3 test (4 including the final). Make sure to look back at the syllabus to ensure when the tes will go up cause he does not allow late work, extra credit, or retakes. If you wish to get an A then quizzes will be your go to when studying for test (quiz to test similarity ratio is 1:1). GREAT CLASS.

Seriously, the best math teacher Ive ever had. I started my college experience in like math 40, and this professor has inspired me and made it seem reachable to attain a mathematics degree. He cares for his students and it SHOWS. Dedicate a few hours each day for this class, do ur hw and watch his explanations and u will do fine. 100/10 professor.

Easily my favorite math class, including grade school. His lectures (pre recorded videos) are super easy to understand. If he feels like it can be too overwhelming he will break down a section into multiple videos so you do not feel like he is rushing or quickly going from point A to point H. Exam questions are easy if you watch the lectures.

Took his classes for Math 70(Spring) and 140(Summer). His class was great for both terms. But, for those who never had taken a summer class. I recommend only taking it if you need to retake it/if you think your class won't be difficult. Math140 was pretty simple at first but, more work will show up at the end. Other than that, recommend this prof.

Professor Lewandowski made taking MATH112 online bearable! His video walk throughs were a big help. Enjoyed learning from him, highly recommend.

Get a graphing calculator or you won't pass. The professor also has you purchase something from a site that teaches you the material as it includes videos for each lesson. Homework, quizzes, and tests are also on there. Canvas only has videos of him going over each lesson in case you didn't understand how it was taught through the site's video.

If you attend class and ask questions during test review or during office hours, you should do well. He doesn't make study guides for tests, but if you understand the homework and practice the problems he did for example in the lecture, you should be fine. Notes aren't allowed for tests so make sure you have processes memorized.

This was probably the hardest math class I have ever taken and I'm so glad I don't need to take another. Make sure you have a graphing calculator, you will not be able to complete your work without it. He is very good, his videos explaining some of the problems helped a lot.

I really like this professor lecture. I took math 116 with grade B.I enjoy how he eases the information in each lecture. DON'T FORGET OFFICE HOURS to clear any information you didn't catch in the lecture. Professor Lewandowski is welcoming nicely any question from students.

I took him during the Fall semester of 2022 but dropped the class because the grading is based on just exams and homework and I didn't do well. He is really caring and he is more than happy to help you with any questions you may have. DO THE HOMEWORK it helps for exams and you get credit just for completion of the homework.

I had Lewandowski for MATH190 but it's not listed on here. He's a good professor, but moves a little bit fast. The homework is not a lot. He is a little bit boring and you really have to pay attention in class because he skips steps sometimes or assumes you already know things, but as long as you ask questions, he will answer them.

He was a really great professor. The grading is only based on 4 homework assignments and 4 test, so you have to do well on the test or you will not pass the class. He assigns homework and on test day he will randomly collect only 2 assignments. Office hour is important if you do not understand, he is really good at explaining things. He does round.

Tbh hes such a good professor. As long as you pay attention & take good notes you should be good :) He provides worksheets which are very helpful & similar to the quizzes & exams. He doesn't offer extra credit but he allows cheat sheets for exams & drops your lowest quiz score. Theres also a lot of hw but its not too bad just make sure to complete.

He repeatedly explained the same thing for students to understand. He is staying after class for students to ask questions. We had homework after every class, and he randomly checked it. Some of the exams were open-book exams. It has a lot of homework, but I think the other math classes are the same. It is doable. You need a TI calculator.

It was quite difficult for me since I took a 3 yr break after hs, yet I enjoyed his lectures and would retake him! He simplifies everything, helps after class, drops the lowest score, allows for cheat sheets, and teaches with study guides/ungraded worksheets. HW (a lot) is from the book, before each test he collects 2-3 random ones. He does curve!

Great professor! His videos are great and he lectures well, he uses Pearson for his class, and the practice tests he gives you don't count for credit but it's almost 1 to 1 to the actual test so if you can do the practice you'll be fine. He gives you plenty of time to do the assignments, and gave 2 tries on quizzes. He was easy to reach. Take him!

Professor Lewandowski is such a good calculus prof! i was hesitant to take calculus as math isn't my strong suit, but Lewandowski made difficult topics easier to understand! Although he's not the most entertaining, he was able to effectively teach a topic. Would recommend!

I had professor Lewandowski for StatsC1000 and he's really passionate about what he teaches! There was about 4 exams and he allows cheat cards which is really helpful. The homework is easy and id recommend taking the practice quizzes online a day before the exam to refresh your memory! I really enjoyed taking this course and it was relatively easy.

Professor Lewandowski is very straightforward and he does curve. If you are looking for a no B.S. math class, this is the guy to take. All of the questions on the exam are of topics he has taught. He doesn't do anything that'll make a student's life harder than it is. He is a good professor. period.
