hes a really good teacher. the first day of class people get freaked out cause theres assigned seating but dont worry cause later on u can sit wherever eventually. his test are all essay questions but just study the lecture notes and ull do dandy

abnormal psychology is the class i took and i got an A there were midterms that were given that were soley based on memorization all fill in the blanks and it came from his lecture... very clear funny and gives great examples... easy A if u study

Tom Morin is a good teacher i took his class in the summer.He does a lot of work;example you take a lot of notes and you have to write every thing he says and that will be on the test or final.but anyways he a good teacher he knows what he is doing just come to class every day and ask question if you need to.But as long you write all your notes .

I took his class over the summer, in order to do well, you have to take good notes. Overall, he's pretty entertaining. Test are based strictly on notes, if you're good with memorization, you'll do exceptionally well in this class. Its all repetition if you ask me. Overall great professor, and offers outside classroom help to students who need it.

Mr. Morin is an excellent teacher. We were never given any homework! We did have a 6 page essay to write at the end of the course but he teaches so good that it will be a breeze! His lectures are very good and helpful, make psychology a lot of fun!

I love going to his class everyday. He's actually a therapist so every story he tell is true from his clients. He has a creepy and enthusiastic facial expression when he made examples or tell stories related for what we were learning. He was so funny. If you both want to relax, have a good time, and actually learn Psy, this prof is the best bet.

After taking his Psych 1 class last Fall,I took his Psych 6 class last summer.It was a great class as I got to know a lot about personality disorders.I was never disappointed as this professor still delivered in making us understand about Abnormal Psychology in an easy-to-understand manner.The text is not really needed. Highly recommended!!!

Don't get the textbook - it was useless. Tests are based on what is covered in lectures. He is fair and never asks any questions on exams that he has not covered in class. His experience in the field is vast and he has lots of stories to support the material he covers during class.

I loved Prof. Morin's class when I took him for Psych 1. His lectures are very lively and entertaining, and most of his examples are from actual patients he's had. he's an angel among teachers. you show up he gives an amazing lecture, you take notes on it that he writes on the board. then he gives you the questions on the exam based on the lecture he gave that day. you go home, answer them and email them to him to check if they're right. then study that before the exam and get an A.

Loved Professor Morin! I had his 7 am online class during Covid. You have about 3-4 tests including the final and a few essays where you relate to class content to your own life. Homework was very minimal and he was very flexible if you needed help. Easy A but you also learn a lot.

One of my favorite professors at Chabot! Lectures every class and tells you the questions that will be in the exam, so make sure to try to not miss or GET THE NOTES FROM SOMEONE! TAKE HIM! HANDS DOWN THE BEST PROFESSOR AT PSYCHOLOGY! His lectures make it easy to remember certain terms. Make flash cards of terms and STUDY. Easy A and Easy pass. Skip class you will not pass. Trust me, DO IT! will not be disappointed

Make sure to attend lectures or get notes from someone. He tells you which questions will be on the exams. You get 3 exams, 1 final, and a 6-7 page paper at the end. Just memorize the terms and definitions before the exams (flash cards!) & you'll be fine. Additionally, he's pretty funny too, even at 7:30 in the morning.

AN AMAZING TEACHER. He has remarkable and effortlessly engaging stories and lectures. The tests are not multiple-choice, but he gives you exactly what to expect on exams and is very clear. There is no homework at all. Study for the tests, and you'll easily pass. Make sure to take notes and study throughout the tests. He's a very chill teacher.

Professor Morin's lectures for Abnormal Psych were engaging and informative. No homework, just a few tests and a short paper - easy to ace if you take notes and use Unstuck ai for study prep. Highly recommend this class!

An amazing professor and you can tell he loves his job. He gives amazing lectures. Note taking required and I do recommend to record his lectures just in case you miss something. He literally gives out just 5 quizzes and 1 essay. The quizzes aren't hard because he already gives you the questions for it after each lecture.

100% recommend! Abnormal psych has a lot of info to remember. Professor Morin makes it really easy for you to remember the information. At the end of every lecture he gives a test question so that ultimately you will know every question that is going to be on each test beforehand. Every lecture is far from boring and he has a cool sense of humor.

Professor Morin did a great job teaching Abnormal and Psych 1 courses. He gave 3 tests total, a final and one 6-7 page paper. Although it sounds like a lot I found both of these courses very interesting. He gives you the questions that will be on the test all you have to do is study them with flashcards or Quizlets. I would definitely recommend!

Professor Morin is what made my want to major in psychology. His lectures are fun and he uses real life stories of himself or his patients to relate to the content he is teaching. However, the only graded tasks are three tests, a final exam, and a long paper. No other assignments or extra credit or make up tests. So I highly recommend studying.

Professor Morin gives amazing lectures, very energetic and straight to the point, occasionally a little funny. No homework but free response tests. If you attend class, take good notes, and study the test questions (which he gives in lectures, it's an easy and interesting class. You can also email him practice test questions and he can help you!

Course is easy if you show up and study.
