Settles' class is very tough, but don't let that discourage you from taking him. You HAVE to take pages of notes each class and be extremely knowledgeable about his lectures, but passing his class says a lot about where you are as a student. I noticed the only students left in his class at the end seemed be the best and brightest.

Mr. Settles class is tough, but rewarding, and he's such a great guy! His lectures are very informative and filled with fun facts. Key to this class is to take REALLY good notes because his tests are insane! My advice, go to class everyday, record his lectures and then write notes at home. There are no homework assignments, so exams are crucial!
