The class was hard because i took it over the summer. He is a great professor, explains well but his tests are hard. He puts true/false questions and he likes proofs and definitions. Read the book and pay attention in the class b/c his lectures are helpful during the test.He gives online homework but he will explain you until u understand.

He is a really good professor. He explains everything really clearly. Many people say that his test are hard but personally I think his test are super easy. There are many more harder problems in homework. No trick questions on the test. Sure, he gives proofs but if you know what you're doing you shouldn't bother. Highly reccommended.

he has a great passion for math and expanded my knowledge but too much of an already difficult subject was expected to be self taught his test and quizzes were tough but fair and he was very generous on partial credit

Great Great Great Smart Professor. You can LEARN in his class and build your foundation for calculus. Will definitely take my higher calculus classes with him again. I highly recommend him for the folks who hate memorization and want to actually learn difficult math concepts.

I took calculus in high school and it was a lot easier than his class. He doesn't really teach the material, it's more of you teaching it to yourself. He is a really nice guy, but when it comes to him explaining the material in class, it is very confusing for a lot of people.

I loved him as a professor. He gave hw and quizzes to bump up your grade, gave inspirational talks, and helped out as much as he could. His tests were on the harder side, and the final was kinda tough for me. I took him for calc 3 and i wish he taught linear and differentials.

Horrible. Will never take again. He doesn't teach at all. Says students are his "guinea pigs" and expects you to understand everything by just reading the book. Save yourself the trouble.

Im sorry but Ive never struggled in math so much in my life for over 6 weeks of taking this course. The professor doesnt teach in class but rather we talk about the homework more than he lectures. He expects us to read the textbook on our own which I never expected. I had to drop this class because I was doing very poorly. Save yourself time.

This class is a breeze! Just keep up with the daily online assignments, and you'll be fine. There are two in-person exams that you'll take on the computer, using a calculator and GeoGebra. Don't stress too much—if you stay on top of your daily work, the exams will be a piece of cake. Take this class; you won't regret it!

Took his statistics class in an 8 week summer session and by the grace of god passed with an A. Professor Voden is straightforward with his expectations for the course, and very helpful. Make sure to study for the tests and you'll do fine. The homework is a lot, but it is easy and he gives lots of extensions.
