he's a relatively interesting professor, not very difficult. he comes off as a tad arrogant at times, but it's appropriate since he's smarter then you.

Prof. Wayne is the man! I took him for both comp 1 and 2 and i LOOOVVVEEEDD his class, he is brilliant and so funny. Its a class that makes your day better just because hes so chill and funny. Definately not a hard class to pass but you do have to do what he asks of you. I got an A in class no sweat. He is AWESOME

Prof. Wayne had to be my favorite teacher thus far. I loved going to his class and having awesome debates. He teaches about REAL life and tries to get students to think outside the box. His papers are on very interesting topics (make sure you use a creative title). I loved his class! I'm so sad I can't take it again :(

He is hilarious and keeps class entertaining. You only have four essays and two in the final exam. He grades them so easily and if you have anything less then a B in his class then you either didn?t turn in an essay or just don?t know how to write a single sentence! Extremely easy, you must take him if you want to take Comp 2!

Take his class as long as you're not uptight or overly sensitive :) He speaks his mind but he keeps the class fun and interesting! Don't even think about bringing food or drink to class, turn off your cell phone and keep it out of his sight (don't even TRY to sneak in that text message when you think he's not looking), and show up on time.

My class with Prof. Wayne was by far the most interesting of the semester! He's sarcastic but funny, and really knows his stuff - I learned a lot. If you love a good discussion and don't mind speaking up in class, he is the one to take. At first I found Professor Wayne quite annoying. He has a great hatred for tourists, technology, and cars; however, over time I began to enjoy his personality and character. Not only is he entertaining but he is great at teaching literature. I would recommend this class to anyone. I am most definitely going to miss him and the class.

Different teaching style - u won't find many teachers like this one. Makes you think for yourself. Obviously a very intelligent and well read person. Knows a few languages fluently. Grades more on effort than ability. Goes easy on those that struggle but hard on those who don't try or show up. Very sarcastic but it is an interesting change of pace.

Wayne is a sarcastic, seemingly-indifferent individual on the outside and a caring, respectable guy on the inside. All he wants from you is to show up to class and take your work seriously. He isn't a traditional grader but he's not that strict of one either. He mainly grades you based on attendance and performance in class. I'd take him again.

Im currently taking this class and this professor is awesome. He lets class out early almost everyday so try to take his class last so you can leave campus early. Class is based off 5 papers and a research paper. Super fair grader. He has a very dark and dry sense of humor so if youre easily offended you probably shouldnt take this class.

Professor isn't an all bad teacher, but he is terrible when it comes to using canvas and assigning grades. I dont really have an issue with that, the only problem i have is that he only grade 3 assignment. Either than that his an awesome teacher who I wouldn't mind taking again, but he has to use canvas and use more than 3 assignment.

Prof. Wayne is actually a really good teacher. A lot of people don't like him because he doesn't communicate through canvas or email. The grade he gives you on your paper is your average grade honestly. he doesn't do it by percentage. He is really funny and overall one of the best professor I've had at FSW.

At first, I was very skeptical about Professor Wayne. I couldn't tell if I would like being in his class or not. However, this is my second time taking one of his classes, so I think it'd be safe to say that I enjoy having him as my teacher. Usually you'll do a couple in-class essays, a couple outside of class, and a research paper.

Professor seems quite weird at first, but overall a solid professor. Never skip class since he never uses Canvas for anything other than grading. Fair deadlines in my opinion, and if you attend the lectures, the essay requirements and prompts are easy enough to follow. Overall nice choice.

This professor is an amazing teacher you just have to put in the work and do exactly what he wants and should be an easy grade. He does NOT use canvas everything is turned in through paper. If you can't write essays SOLELY with a pen/paper and can't take criticism, find another teacher. Remember to read the material two or three times before you go into class and practice writing in class. There are no notes on the midterm or final. Write down EVERYTHING you read in class and memorize the finer details of them a few days in advance.

I think he is a decent professor, does not like technology, but is very helpful in what you need to do. I took him fall of 2022 and right after the hurricane. I still passed and earned credit in his class. Basic comp course, cuts out the BS.

He is a great professor. He does not like using technology, so bring pencil/pen and paper. You will read some of your papers out loud to the rest of the class, or sometimes your writing topics. He will give you advice on your papers during class and also in private. The only thing you need to do is do the assignments and you will be good to go.

Professor Wayne gets a bad rep. but honestly his class was so easy. There is no homework and no graded assignments except for the three test all semester. Every class he gives you a short story to read and the following class he gives you a question to write an essay on. As long as you really know the story you will be completely fine.

He's REALLY good and I love his humor. I'd recommend him for anyone. We only had like 4-5 writing assignments all together and there's no hw. He also lets you pick your own topics. He's really big on personality and spelling in your writing so make sure you know how to spell case if not, your essay can go from an A to a B real quick

Very great professor. He's very funny and all assignments were pretty easy and straightforward. No homework assignments were given. If you get your work done, this is an easy class to pass.
