I love this teacher! He makes time fly by in class and he is very helpful. I enjoy his teaching techniques and makes math actually seem fun. I enjoy going to class.

Great instructor, breaks it down to make it easy to understand. He gives plenty of extra credit to help students pass. Attendance is manditory to pass. If you miss any classes you will fall behind. He work with you. Will and am taking his class again.

Tom is seriously the BEST teacher EVER. He has made me fall inlove with math. I took him for Math 102 & i understood EVERYTHING. & if you ever come to an area you dont understand he explains things thoroughly. Math just became so easy to me because of him. I RECOMMEND 100% !!!

GREAT teacher, he helps you understand the math problem. he goes over it so many time till you get it. he give a little quiz but he goes over it first. i took him for math 65 and 70 i pass both classes with him. he gives you homework but not a lot but if you do it and turn it in you will be good. so good luck with him believe me great teacher.

Very good teacher, work well with students to get and understanding. Had him for Math 65 and 70, but would take him all the way through. 5 question quiz every week. very cool guy. please do not talk in class and disturb other that are trying to learn.

Professor Weadock is by far the best professor I've ever had. As someone who hates math and has struggled with it my entire life, Professor Weadock made math easy to understand and dare I say it a very fun class. He makes it soo easy to understand. I maintained an A-B average all semester and will be taking him next semester. He is truly the best.

Took Prof. Weadock in the summer and it was super easy! He takes the time to show you how to solve each problem, and answers all your questions. There a bonus midterm thats not required but it replaces one of your lowest test grades. In summer there is 2 quizzes a week but they are only 5 questions long. All in all he is the best prof. ever!

He makes math very understandable and fun to learn. His random riddles for candy got the class going. He's very nice and a great help. Homework is easy as well as the test and quizzes, if you understand the lectures of course

I wish I could take him for Math 70 but I wasn't able to move my schedule around. I throughly enjoyed his class. He made my 1st semester at AVC a positive experience. I'm not the strongest in math and Weadock took his time and explained things in a manner that could be understood by all. He does ask you to buy the book but you do not need the math lab, the book if you look for it is only $5.00 on most sites. Great teacher and super funny, I do not regret taking him.

If you hate math, this is the professor to take. He explains things wonderfully and will go over it again if you need. He's hilarious and tells riddles too! Downside, you might get students who like to talk amongst themselves and he won't really say anything about it, just try to talk over them. If it's an issue, say something and he will too.

His lectures are great! If you don't know how to do a problem he will help you by writing the problem on the bored. Study and you'll pass his class.

The last time that I took a math class was over 25 years ago. I scored really low on my assessment test for entrance to college. Prof. Weadock put all my fears and concerns away during his class. I understood the lectures and got an A in his class. He gives a quiz once a week, and as long as you are in class, you will pass.

He really goes in depth every step of the way and doesn't go too fast. It sucks he doesn't teach math70 (Avc if you're reading this please LET THE MAN TEACH MATH 70). will definitely take him for 102!

I am a non traditional student and Math was never my best subject. I took Mr. Weadock for Math 65 and 70 and I passed both classes and he didn't teach 102 the following semester so I didn't take Math that semester. He is the BEST. He explains everything and goes over problems more than once if he has to.

I definitely will be going choose him again as my professor! He explains everything so well that for sure you would love Math because of him! He always have a riddle ready for class for a quick break! And gives u candy when you got the correct answer! He goes through very hard topics and is very patient. Math is easy because of him!

He goes up and over for his students by not only being so nice and caring, but offering TONS of opportunity to get your grade to where you want it to be and giving amazing lectures. One of the BEST math teachers, wish I would've found him sooner. 5 problem quiz every Monday which are very easy!! Let's you use notes for the chapter quiz and gives you a study guide for the final. He takes his time and makes sure everyone understands before moving on. I would definitely recommend him and would take him again if he taught 115.

Mr Weadock has been one of the best professors Ive taken in avc. If your someone that is always having trouble with math take him he will make sure you to explain each problem step by step and wont move problems until everyone understands it he does not mind re doing a Problem 10 Times . Also please dont take advantage of his kindness .

Honestly, super chill and funny. Make sure to ask questions if you dont understand or he will just plow through the entire section. Gives enough time to do HW. Daily quizzes but open note as well. His notes are the best. Literally copy whats on the board step by step. Keeps it straight forward, short and sweet.

When I tell you I suck at math I SUCK AT MATH! I failed Math 102 but when I took it with Weadok I swear it was a while other math or something. He gives out homework and extra credit, we have lots of quizzes but theyre open notes and so are the tests!! I would recommend this teacher to anyone having difficulty in math, hes truly the best.

This is a great Professor, he is corky but keep you interested in Math. If you pay attention you will pass the class. He make sure you get it before he move on. I took him for Summer so two quizzes a week and a Chapter test once a week.

Professor Weadlock is the best professor Ive ever had. I just completed his class in intersession. It was the first time Ive taken a class during intersession and he made everything clear and easy to understand. I learned more in a month with him than I did in other math classes in a regular semester. Excellent professor!

He's a great teacher. Knows the material well. Ask questions he loves them. He knows how to answer questions and won't stop until you fully understand. Hands out a lot of worksheets but they do help you out. Every test and quiz were open notes even the final.

By far one my favorite Professors I have taken. I have taken Professor Weadock for Math 102 and 115 and I passed both with an A. His quizzes are super easy, tests are open book. Easy A! If you were to ask me. He also gives out a lot of extra credit if you want to bring up your grade

I love him and I would take his class again because his class I feel is like easy for me to get a hang on and he isn't hard he always teaches about the labs, homework, and quizzes ahead of time and you can learn from his lectures than most professors.

Professor Weadock explains things extremely well and is very caring. If you do not understand he has no problem going over anything even multiple times. He makes this class easy enough to pass even for people that struggle. Would take him again in a heartbeat.

You can not go wrong with taking Tom for Statistic (Math 105). I waited to take him for two semesters and he was definitely worth the wait. Taking this class during covid I had mix feelings but I wasn't going to drop the class. He broke down everything for us and made videos as references so we can get what he was teaching.

This professor is amazing. I highly recommend everyone takes notes on everything he does because you will need this for future math classes. This man helped me soo much and I am so grateful I took him!

Amazing instructor and funny! You don't need to be a math genius, he makes statistics a breeze. His lectures/instructions are very clear and straight to the point. Tests and most of the work is given as pdf and you have access to them beforehand. He's understands your life doesn't only revolve around school. Take him, you won't regret it!

I'd vouch to get him titled as the best math professor at AVC. He's just that great! If you're scared of taking stats or not, take him. He creates his own material and actually makes stats more meaningful. My lecture was at 8am through zoom and not once did I fall asleep. Do your part and you will pass.

The math was hard, the Professor was very helpful. I was really worried about this class because I dislike math. Let me just put it this way, I can do it so can you. I actually learned so much in this class. I'm really glad he gave tons of homework. It's good to be able to review the material you learned, definitely helps on for tests and quizzes.

Gotta LOVE his DAD JOKES!! His teaching style is easy to understand allowing everyone to follow along. You can watch the class lessons when doing homework as he records them for us to use. He likes questions so ask them. There is weekly homework and an easy semester project. Reasonable amount of quiz/tests. Laid back pleasant guy.

This was my third time taking (not with him) Statistics because I am genuinely so bad at math and omg by far the best math professor I have ever taken in my life. As long as you actually pay attention in his class and do all the assignments you'll be good. If you struggle with Statistics please take him I guarantee you will pass.

Took this class during the summer. It was fast-paced but, very manageable. Professor Weadock taught all the material in a clear and informative way. Overall the workload wasn't heavy but in a short amount of time things add up. Highly recommend taking this class.

Professor Weadock is the best Math teacher I've ever taken. I'm horrible at math and he makes math sound so easy, he reinforces all chapters with checkpoints, quizzes and lectures reviews. So if you put in the work, you will pass. All of his classes are recorded so, if you didn't understand, you can always go back and review the class.

TAKE THIS Professor. He makes math understandable! He records every lecture. When doing homework/checkpoints, you can always go back and rewatch the lecture. There is a Midterm and Final (not timed), a 4-part project done through out semester, & ALL are done online at home. Weekly quiz's taken in class &takes attendance at the end of every class.

BEST teacher for trigonometry. I was so worried I'd fail the class but his teaching style is AMAZING. You can ask a thousand questions and he'll answer every single one. I asked for help on a test for one question and he gave me an example and helped me get the question right!!! I did the summer class so we had 1 quiz a week and a total of 4 exams!

English is my second language and I didn't even have any difficulty understanding his trigonometry lectures/completing my assignments:) There are many homework and weekly quizzes, however, he is very helpful.

Mr. Weadock was AMAZING. Taking his class was my second attempt at statistics and I was very nervous because I struggle with math. From day 1 he made his class enjoyable. He explains math so effortlessly I felt like I was taking a 2nd grade math class. He records his lectures and writes on the board so if you miss a class you can easily catch up!

Math 135 with Weadock was one of my first classes here at AVC, I was nervous since it was my first class on campus, but after all It went pretty well. He teaches in a way you are able to understand like it's Algebra 1(I did TRIGONOMETRY!) He has a good sense of humor and I really loved the class, Great teacher. - Darylle T

Absolutely incredible. I struggle with basic multiplication and he was able to teach me trigonometry. His class is very well done. He's the best professor I've seen use Canvas, he's always open for questions, and he's very kind. Even the introverted kids were asking questions in class. There's no other professor better. Register with him ASAP.

From a person who failed stats twice this Professor saved me. He encourages questions because he wants you to understand. His class was cost friendly, no book, no special calculator, no pearson. Everything is on canvas and he is pretty on top of grading work. During his lectures he provides you notes that you can use during your test and homework.

I took Professor Weadock's MATH-135 class during the Summer 2024 semester. Professor Weadock is a great teacher who is thoughtful of his students. He answers every question that is asked. Homework was minimal and the tests and quizzes were open notes at least at the time of this review. Take his class if you can. You'll enjoy it.
