i don't know i think he's great especially when i have a zero understand on chemistry but now i learn alot

I had no problems with his lectures. He explains things in a way you can understand even if you never took Chemistry before, but he doesn't dumb it down and talk down to you. The guy is great and makes class interesting but you have to go.

The best CHM teacher I have ever had. Not for the slacker. Always willing to help, so know your way to his office. Do the homework and the lab pages. He is funny and keeps lecture and lab interesting. He also lets you know when to expect quizzes. A must!

This is seriously one of the most knowledgeable chemistry teachers in all the colleges in central florida. He really knows his stuff and is an outstanding teacher.He is willing to sit down and help you if you have any problems. I highly recommend Mr Z.

Good Teacher. He is very clear and informative in his class lecture. There are no surprises with any tricky questions in exam. However, he IS a tough grader, hardly gives any partial credit. Best way to succceed his class is to do the homeworkproblem.

He’s a great professor! No, he doesn’t grade on a curve, but he gives TONS of partial credit. He gives tons of quizzes, but he only takes the top five grades from them and drops the rest! He's always in his office and just the nicest guy! Great class.

This teacher is great. His tests are not that difficult if you understand the concepts. He has a great attitude and is always willing to help. He usually drops the lowest test grade. :-)

He is a great professor speaks loud and clearly. His tests are what it is. No tricks. Accepts top 6quizs, drops 1 lab and 1 test. He is easy only if you keep up to date with hw problems if not then it will be difficult and u will die a slow and painfull death.

Excellent Teacher! Chem is a tough subject but he makes it much easier since he teaches so well and caters to the students. Keeps only 6 quiz grades out of the semester and drops a lab. Tells you EVERYTHING that is going to be on the exam. Overall, great guy, great teacher!

Very good professor. TAKE HIM! He literally tells you what's on the tests and in the order in which they're in. Unlike Kluger, he is fair on tests and labs. He is considerate, in testing only on what he teaches. And on occasion he'll be funny in class. He's very knowledgeable, and helps a lot!

He was a wonderful teacher and I feel made everything easy to understand. I never thought I would understand CHM and I still may not be wonderful at it but I got through it with a "B".

This is the BEST teacher to take for Chem!! He is SOO much fun in class, he WILL make you Laugh. Advice: Study every day, make sure you understand the lessons taught for that day. Pop Quiz almost everyday (summer), drops 1 test grade(replaced by final), tells EVERYTHING that will be on the test, no HW assingments, labs are easy if u pay attention!!

Wonderful teacher! I was terrified of chemistry until I took his class. I'm so glad I did too. He makes everything clear and understandable, and I aced all his exams and got an A in chemistry. Something I thought I would never get. Love this man!

Take Zurosky, he's the best guy on campus for chemistry. He is approachable for help and will help you out with any questions. LAB reports are generally easy but if you have a problem, you can just ask him and he'll guide you thru. I got A's in both his Chem I + II class. I would take all my chem classes with him if possible. The best!

I don't understand the high marks on this prof. His lectures are extremely fast, the labs are not graded equally, Good thing is, he tells you what is on the tests & pop quizes.I am struggling with a low B.

This prof. does move fast but study and read the book and you'll be fine. Only counts the top 6 quizzes..so its not that hard. Doesn't make students do b/s work like many other professors at VCC. Take this class if ur actually smart and u'll do fine.

The best chem teach here. I'm waiting till next semester so I can take Chem 2 with him and no one other... DO study hw, he goes over it thoroughly, and is very helpful, always dedicating his office hours to whomever seeks him out for help.

He is a great teacher and makes the subject much easier to understand. Homework is not mandatory, but helps a lot. He goes over any questions you have and will always help you out with the lab before you turn it in and he tells you everything that will be on the tests. Very willing to help and has a great sense of humor.

He is a GREAT professor! The material in Chm 2 was a little involved but he practically tells you everything that is going to be on the test. It is really up to you to do the work. It is almost impossible to get lower than a B in this class; however, some manage to be dumb and do just that!!!!

mr zurosky is a very down to earth professor. may be abit sarcastic at times, but thats just his charm. for a summer a class, he was very clear on what we needed to knw, gave specific problems from the test. jus stay on track and ure good. highly recommended

Zurosky is a good teacher. He will make you work hard to get a good grade, so he is good teacher, he assigns homework for practice, always is available if you need help with the subject matter or labs during his office hours. I am not sure how Thomas or Kluger teach organic, but if you are a good student and study you should have no problem here.

HA ha, professor Z has hot peppers:o) He is a REALLY good professor. He did go through the material very fast; however, he is VERY, VERY helpful in during his office hours if you seek the help. Very funny too! I always enjoyed his class, even though the material is very hard.

This guy is fun and cool. He make organic seem like easy. He does his part and has great office hours. He just about alway willing to help students in and outside class. If you want to learn Organic, pass with an A or B plus enjoy doing it, take him.

THis Professor is a great chemistry Professor. He explains everything very clearly and is always willing to help his students. If you do the homework he gives you will pass all the quizzes. Mr. Z is the best chem teacher at east/west. You can tell since his classes are always full, along with the waiting list. He is very helpful and makes learning chem somewhat painless. If he had been teaching Chem 2 this summer I would have taken him. You won't regret taking him!!

Mr.Zurosky is the BEST chem professor. He explains hard concepts easy and gives plenty of opportunity to succeed. He is very friendly and always has time to help his students. I am sad because his Organic I section is fulled along with the waitlist. I hope to have this professor in Organic II. Take him if you can you wont regret!

Before taking this class I was petrified to go into a chemistry class but he made everything seem easy! I got an A in this class. You do have to study and attend classes. MR Z is a very knowledgable prof who loves to answer question and tries to help his students as much as he can. Test were easy and he tells you what goes on them. If you do some of the homework you should be fine, has the easiest labs as well, if you want to learn and get an A YOU SHOULD TAKE HIM.

He's an awesome teacher. You really don't use the textbook that much unless it's assigned (but optional) homework problems. All the notes come from him. His quizzes are easy if you paid attention to the previous lecture(s), just do a quick little review before class. His exams were SO easy. He actually goes over what will be on the exam.

very very very easy, but the only problem is you wont remember much after the course is finished. If your going for pharmacy or taking an enterance test that involves chemistry, I DO NOT reccomend taking his class!

He made the class simple. He gives you exact problems to study for the tests and gives a review the day before. There are a lot of quizzes but he drops half of them!! 4 Tests and the final replaces the lowest grade. Easy A if you study before class for those quizzes and do well on the Labs they help!!!!

Professor Zurosky is awesome! He goes over EXACTLY what you need to know for tests and quizzes and is always available to help. Labs aren't bad you just have to make sure you show up and do them. Perhaps the best teacher for inorganic and organic chemistry ever. He's clear on what you need to know for the exams. The exams are easy (if you actually studied and not slack off), pretty much just like the homework. Labs are easy. Definitely take him. His class fills up quickly so hurry!

Prof. Z is hard, he expects a lot out of you. However he is fair. If you need help, he is always available in his office for questions. Greatest Chem teacher. Clearly says what he expects and is always in his office during office hours willing to help with anything you need. Informative and available to students. Rushed and forgetful. Confusing directions and very speedy in explanations. Not well organized. Sarcastic and entertaining usually, but overall a decent person. Terrible at responding to e-mails.

I took Chem 1045C with professor Z. He is a wonderful teacher. Very fun! Make sure you start studying at the beginning of the semester otherwise you will miss out on everything later on. I an currently studying for the TEAS and oh my.... Thanks to professor Z I know a lot of what I would still have to learn.... I recommend!

Not so easy class. Quizzes are stressful though it will get easier. FIND A RITE LAB PARTNER, and ASK HIM questions if you're not sure about the answer. Tests are based on quizzes but he's kinda picky so u gotta work for it and check your work carefully before u turn in. He's enthusiastic, nice and very helpful. He's funny but sarcastic though

Very Good professor. The best advice to someone hoping to get an A or B, is to study hard in the beginning of the class. Know your Ions and their charges. This will help when naming compounds. When getting into your Molarity problems and stoichiometry problems, use your units to help guide you through the problem. Starting unit -> Ending unit.

Prof. Z is amazing! Yes, he will tell you straight up if you are asking stupid questions, and he sometimes gets a bit disorganized, but overall he is great. He answers questions if you go to his office, his grading standards are taugh especially in the lab reports. As long as you do the hmrk, and go to class you should do well. I got an A for 1045.

Prof. Z is great. His teaching methods are a little different from other professors, but he makes sure every student has an opportunity to pass the class. He offers plenty of office hours for students to ask questions. The only reason why people don't pass, not only this class but other classes as well is because they aren't willing to do the work

As far as chemistry goes, this is the best prof I've had, hands down. I took Chemistry 3x when I went to college for my BS 15+ years ago. Chemistry is my kryptonite. Professor Zurosky takes a very difficult subject and breaks it down very well. Pop quizzes come fast and furious! All As on tests and an overall A grade gets you out of the final!

If you fail or do not like this professor, that's all you honestly. He's not hard because he breaks it down as far as he can & he gives about 10 pop quizzes on the material he taught in the pervious classes but only counts the top 6. He tells you what's going to be on the exam so make sure you study all of the practice problems until you know it by heart because if you get all As on the exams, you won't have a final. Labs are pretty simple. Highly recommend!

HE IS AMAZING! He is one of my favorite professors ever. I took him for both chem 1 and 2. If you get an A on all four tests then you don't have to take the final. For the tests make sure you do all of the suggested homework problems (not graded), they will help a lot. There are pop quizzes but they're not worth much of your grade.

He is an amazing professor. Attending lecture and labs are a must if you want to pass! Not everything is clear cut with chemistry. I highly recommend attending free tutoring sessions. If it wasn't for tutoring I would not have my grade of an A! This class is mainly math. We have 6 pop quizzes, 4 lecture exams, 1 final exam and 7-8 labs. He is great

Prof. Zurosky is so sarcastic, it's amazing. He will make you work for it, but he's actually pretty nice. Be sure to ask good questions if you don't understand what he wants on a lab or if you don't understand how he did a problem. IMPORTANT: do the practice problems BEFORE THE NEXT CLASS. HE WILL QUIZ YOU, EVEN IN THE FIRST WEEK.

Going into this class I did not expect to do well. He's a good professor but you have to do a lot of studying on your own. Professor Zurosky is a great professor at Valencia! There are 12 quizzes but he only counts the top 6. Four exams, I suggest you do homework early dont wait until the last minute to do them. (HINT* Do HW when done w/ lecture and practice them over and over.) And KNOW COMPOUNDS!!! Dont take heavier courses if chemistry is your weakness.
