Mrs. Engel helped me to gain an appreciation for the arts that I had never had. I now look for opportunities to enjoy the many cultural events offered to the people of Tulsa. I also have a great desire to see and experience other cultures.

Professor Engel was one of the best instructors that I have ever taken. She made humanities very interesting and her passion for the topics showed. She was genuine and a very caring instructor. I suggest this class for anyone who wants to learn in a fun and rewarding way. I promise you will not be disappointed.

I would have to agree with the others. She made Humanities 1 my favorite class that I have taken at TCC. She helped us follow along in a logical and sequential manner and didn't leave out any details. I came out of that class with a much better understanding of the world around us!

She is on of the most helpful and understanding professors I have ever had, I have tried to take humanities a couple of times and had to withdraw, if you don't make a good grade in her class there is something wrong with you and you should seek a career at wal-mart. Not only are her lectures interesting she gives alot of Extra credit.

She's passionate about the subject(s). VERY helpful and beyond reasonable. She really wants her students to succeed. If you don't make an A, maybe you should consider a career as a dog walker.

This was an intersession class for 5 days from 8:30-5. Tiffany was awesome. We all had a blast. She was very entertaining with a lot of information. Wish I had her for all my classes!

Tiffany is the sweetest teacher of all time, she's caring and understanding if something comes up and very helpful to you if you have to miss class (as long as you give a good excuse and don't make it an every-period thing). She is very enthusiastic and funny about her subject. I'm taking her again next semester for Hum 2!

I took Tiffany for both Humanities 1 and 2. She is probably the best Humanities teacher. I dont like humanites and wanted to take another semester just to stay in her class. Tests are EASY she gives you the answers and Homework was Easy and minimal. In HUM 2 we had 2 Tests

She is a great teacher that brings the subject down to a level everyone can understand-alot of writing is done in this class but she lectures on what you have to write and if u take good notes u are pretty much done with ur homework!ps:she really wants 2 pages per question so just do it! and get an A those that didn't get an A are retards!

TAKE THIS CLASS IF YOU CAN! This is one of the only classes where you can learn a ton, do almost no work, and still get a very high grade. She is interesting, sweet, and incredibly helpful. I made sure that I had her for both of my humanities classes.

Tiffany is an outstanding teacher, I have had her for 3 classes and I have gotten an A in all of them. She is sweet, helpful and fun to listen to. She makes an effort at not making the class boring. There is a lot of writing and some homework but it's not difficult and the tests are pretty straightforward.

I took her one week intermisson class for Humanities 1 and she kept the class entertained was nice enough to supply snacks for the class. There is a writing assignment everynight but I recieved full credit on every assignment and the final was 4 essay questions this was a very good class she showed 2 movies both interesting one was a popular movie

She was very knowlegeable about what she is teaching and doesnt make you work too hard because she knows that not everybody likes humanities. i had her for 20th cent HUMN and we had some light assignments and the final was split into two group assignments, she also has lots of chances for extra credit. pretty easy and you still get to learn.

Pretty Boring class. all you did was evaluate art. the work was easy enough but there was a lot and the assignments took a long time. doesn't use the book except for the frist 2 weeks. wish i didn't take the class

By far the best teacher I have ever had the pleasure of taking!! We did lots of little assignments and nothing was overbearing, she is so kind hearted and loves what she does! I felt like we had a great group too, the class really took part and there were lots of great discussions and everyone got along! Deff take her!!!

Favorite college professor I've had so far! Had to take two college visits and both times she let me make up the homework for full credit. She is so understanding and knows that you can't be in class every single day. Great teacher and she puts the material that she goes over in class word for word on the test which is helpful! I took her for 20th Century Humanities and I thought it was going to be a history class. To my surprise, it was essentially a art history class but it was fun! I definitely recommend Mrs. (or Miss?) Very sweet lady. Class was very interesting and easy. Individual assignments super easy and I got A on. We has several group assignments & I think I got very unlucky & had slacker lazy people in my group.. Every group assignment we got back we got c because their logic was just dumb.. So I ended up with an 88 in the class which sucks. But if you get a good group you will be fine!

Professor Engel is a really great teacher. My sibling had her before I did and we both loved her. I came into this class with a huge interest in history but even if you dont as long as you pay attention, take even minimal notes and get the relatively homework done there is no reason you shouldnt be able to get an A no problem. Shes really funny too

Excellent teacher! Very nice, helpful, and interesting. Class was like a storytelling experience about the art and readings that were really captivating. She loves what she does and can relate it back to our lives now. 10/10 Would take again and again for different subjects.

Prof. Engel is an amazing person. She is very nice and really seems to love what she teaches. She makes learning fun and likes when you take notes. Her tests aren't hard, just study the notes and the guide/outline she gives you. There are small assignments that aren't hard at all. She's passionate about humanities and made the class very fun.

There are not words to describe how much I love Engel! I hated Hum 1 & I wasn't looking forward to Hum 2, but she's golden! Funny, understanding & kind. She gives note outlines & indicates everything that will be on the tests. The only real homework assignments are art analysis sheets that she often helps you complete. Amazing teacher, slow grader.

Professor Engel is AMAZING! She has the uncanny ability to make some of the most mundane subjects really interesting. She goes into depth on background info in order for you to really understand what life was like during time period being discussed. Super interesting! All you have to do is listen. She basically tells you what will be on the test.

Her class was super easy and she is very nice. I would study the day of the test and the lowest grade I got was a 94%. She provides study guides for all of the tests. She is receptive to criticism and easy to get in touch with. There were a few homework assignments but mostly there were just a few tests. She offers a ton of extra credit.

I would definitely recommend this professor not just because she offers a lot of extra credit or her tests are easy but because she is nice, cares about your success in her class, and delivers interesting and sometimes hilarious lectures. Professor Engel is amazing! I had her for Hollywood's America and all we did was watch one movie each class! We had a small essay analysis after each movie and had some small quizzes on chapters in the book you will have to read. Very laid back and sometimes doesn't make you do quizzes or assignments because she doesn't want to grade papers!

The professor was nice and understanding. She was always willing to help you pass and fast responses. She takes a long time to grade. Although, the take-home essays and essay questions were hard and confusing. It was harder than I thought this class would be for an elective. The discussions and revels were easy. Everyone was afraid of not passing.

She is a good professor to take online. Her grading was tough, and if you get behind you won't succeed. She emails quickly, and in her weekly check-in's, she always tells a funny story or life lesson.

Prof Engel is such a great teacher. She is so kind and respectful. Her classes are mainly just a big class discussion and then an exam every few weeks. She gives you a study guide and goes over everything with you during the class before the exam. I like her so much I am taking 2 of her classes next semester! This is your sign, TAKE HER CLASS!!!!!!

I love this professor. Her online format might not be the most exciting but she's a great professor who is understanding to her students. I wouldn't recommend taking this course if you have a heavy work load. She has you watch and analyze a movie each week which can be time consuming if you have other classes. For the most part, the work is simple.

I transferred from TCC to TU & Prof Engel is still the best professor I've ever had. I took 3 of her classes. She gives great feedback & her lectures are the most engaging and fun lectures I've ever had. You get to sit back & analyze art. She genuinely cares about her students. I LOVE LOVE LOVE TIFFANY!! I will say she is retiring but she is the best best best best ever. I seriously get sad when I have to miss class or it is cancelled. I took the honors class just because to have her!!! SO worth it she cares so much and actually wants to know you and have fun. Also there is no homework.

Professor Engel was one of the best professors I have had throughout college. I took America's Hollywood online and wish I would have taken it in person with her. She was such a great teacher. Responded to emails so quick and was willing to answer all the questions. Her assignments were actually enjoyable. Wish I could take her class again.

Fun and Caring teacher! Very helpful inside and outside of class!

Each week you have 1 film due w/ an analysis (paragraph per question or an essay). There are 4 DB's throughout the course that just make sure you understand the material, and a midterm/final over the textbook (but other than that you won't need it). Very easy class, but be sure to stay on top of your work, I missed 2 assignments and got a B.

I loved Professor Engel's class! She is so nice, responds to emails quickly, and gives great feedback on papers. For the most part, you watch one film and write an analytical essay over the film each week; sometimes there is a discussion post. There is only one test, a midterm, and if you do well in the class, she might waive the final!
