Awesome teacher! I failed this class once with Mrs. H. The first day of class I told Mrs. Lewis I was a repeat in this class and from then on she made sure I understood everything. Now I have her for intermediate alg. She really cares about how you are doing in this class. She doesn't take no ones crap so some students may get offended.

Mrs Lewis is the best nath teacher.She takes the time to make sure you understand everything she is saying. She is fair and works with you to bring out the best in you. All she wants is for you to show up and do your homework. Also, no goofing around in class.

Math is a real struggle for me...only took it because it's required. Ms. Lewis is extremely helpful & willing to take extra time with students who are motivated. You can't go wrong if you take her.

Ms Lewis is an fantastic teacher. Even though I love math I problems with graphs. With her I was able to undertstand graphs and do them myself. Try her! I took her back in Spring 2006. I loved the class. She is funny too!

Ms.Lewis is hands down the BEST Math teacher i have ever had..i would definately reccomend her! Prior to her class Math was my worst enemy and i had pretty much given up on the idea of ever understanding Math. Shes a truely great teacher!

Tiffany Lewis is the BEST THEACHER EVER, she explain everything you can't miss it. If you do the work, you'll pass the class in no time. If anyone is taking a fasttrack math I strongly recommend her. She is incredible!!!

Mrs. Lewis is an outstanding teacher. If you don't understand math you will when you're finished with her class. Just come to class and do your homework and you will pass. The best thing about her class is if you don't understand you can always go to her website and look at the pencast and relook at whatever it is you're confused on. I LOVED IT!!

For me, Algebra is like trying to read Chinese! Mrs. Lewis ROCKS when it comes to teaching skills. Always open to helping before or after class. Don't miss ANY classes! Boatloads of homework, and a lot of work to get extra credit points, but helped me to get an A, and know I'll smoke the State final. Now I actually feel SMART! Thanks Mrs. L!

I have never taken pre algebra before, and Ive never been good at math.. Ms Lewis made it easy to understand and fun to learn. I definately recommend takin her class.. I absolutely loved this class...

Returning to school after may years I dreaded pre-algebra. Mrs. Lewis was fantastic. She was most helpful when presented with questions. Her teaching mannerism made learning fun and easy to understand.

I don't know who is posting these awful comments about Mrs. Lewis but they are NOT TRUE! That person must have not passed her class because she is extremely helpful to all her students. I have struggled in math all my life and the way Mrs. Lewis teaches helped me understand and like math. Take her class if you want to understand math!

Mrs. Lewis is the most amazing teacher I could have had for Algebra, I took her for both MAT)012 and MAT0024 and passed both with an A, I recommend anyone who finds math difficult to take it with her. My next class is MAT1033 and I am driving long distance just to take the class with her!! :)

I've taken MAT0012 and MAT0024 with Mrs. Lewis and will be taking MAT1033 next semester. She's wonderful! I was terrified to take any type of Algebra as it was always my worst subject - she made it very enjoyable and easy to learn. She was extremely helpful. She's highly recommended!

I took her course online, and passed it with an A. She has everything clearly stated and uses the math resources well. She even has her own videos that help you work out the problems.

Mrs.Lewis is one of the best Math Professors I know. I took her for Mat 1024 and when I found out that she was going to be teaching MAT1033 I decided to wait and take her class because when I had her in MAT1024 she really made Math not seem so hard. If your intent is an easy A, this is not the class. However if you want to learn algerbic to move on to 1033 Mrs Lewis is the teacher for you. ( please give her the respect that is due, come to class on time and NO TEXTING).

Mrs T. is the best, she goes above and beyound to assist her students. Give her the respect and in return you will get a lesson that will last you a life time. She teaches, show how to move around mat problem and give you pencast as a tool to assist you outside of class. Good Job Mrs T.

Mrs Lewis is an AMAZING math teacher!! I hated math and never got it in high-school after taking 2 years off of school and going back into math can be a little scary but not with Mrs. Lewis. She goes above and beyond for her students from after class tutoring to virtual help with pencast and skype. If you want to learn, take her.

Going back to school after 20 years, I was anxious and terrified about math. Mrs. Lewis is a patient and cares about all of her students. I AM ACTUALLY DOING MATHEMATICAL PROBLEMS and I'm pretty good now because of her guidance. She even holds a eliminate class on Sundays to help the students before a test on Monday. Now that is dedication. THANKS

She was a great teacher. She has so much patients and the ability to be more patient to a person with disability like myself. I am greatful she does what does and how she does it. Very professoinal and caring with much knowledge of each persons ability. Thank you for her!

I took her online and she didn't post grades in a timely fashion. I have to email her if I want to know my exam grade. She does respond to my emails quickly but doesn't like posting grades.

I loved having ms.Lewis as my math teacher in developmental math 2 she has patience and will always work with you! I was treated as an adult in her class never like a child its your responsibility to step up and ask questions and do the work and show up to class ! The max u can miss is 2 days let her know ur reason be responsible! She helps alot

Mrs Lewis is a very nice and patient teacher. I loved the she had the pencast recorded so if we miss understood something in class we can always go to the pencast a look at the lesson at home. Very cool teacher too!!!

Professor Lewis is one of my favorite professors. She works with you and will give you a chance to complete a missed assignment or she will open up past assignments so we could redo them for better grades. The key to her class is paying attention, you will definitely learn. I took her for dev math 1&2 and highly recommend her.

Great Professor. Best Algebra teacher at IRSC. She is very understanding and flexible. She make math seems easier than it actually is.

Super easy class because she explains EVERYTHING. Always there to help you. Tests are not hard (For me, but I love math). Never used my textbook but you need the online mathxl access code to pass.

AMAZING. She explains everything, and does every problem with you. Prints out packet for notes for each chapter. Homework PacketTest. Really funny, and understanding. She makes math a lot easier for people who hate it. Passed with an A. MATH XL mandatory, but unlimited chances on homework problems, and quizzes that are online.

She doesn't give out much for tests there's a lot of online homework but she's a good teacher so you learn it quick. Overall I'm taking her again for college algebra.

Mrs lewis is hands down my favorite professor at irsc, I have been in 2 of her classes. She prints out packets for every student to take notes in, and goes over EVERYTHING. I would say going to class is mandatory, and there is alot of mathxl homework/quizzes, but you get unlimited attempts to improve your score.

Mrs. Lewis is one of the best math professors at IRSC. She legitimately cares about you and your grade. I am terrible at math, but her teaching style works great for me. She records her notes in class and posts them to another website so you can go back and re-listen to them for homework and studying. Prepare for homework via mathxl, not the book.

I'm 30 and just started going back to school this semester after over 10 years since my last math class. Math was never my best subject in high school; but having Professor Lewis has changed all that! I actually really enjoyed her Intermediate Algebra class. I feel very well prepared for College Algebra next semester. Hopefully with her.

Love her! She is amazing at what she dos! Shows you plenty of ways to solve the problem, gives extra credit, isn't to hard of a grader, is patient about what she is doing. You don't need the book just the online code. Definitely one of my favorite professor in my 4 years at the college.

I took Elementary Stats with Ms. Lewis and let me just say if you fail her class you didn't try at all. I have never rated a professor on this week site but after hearing alot of students inquire about professors online I had to rate her. Ms. Lewis is very helpful and detailed about learning the material. She will go over and beyond to help you.

Only need the code, even after the homework closes she will reopen it, even until the semester ends. Try and do the actual math out because using only math cheats dont help during taking the exam

Amazing professor, she makes sure you understand what she's teaching and makes math a little less stressful on you, she works with you but you have to put equal effort. Do not hesitate to take her. She loves what she's doing and you can see that in the way she teaches. She's not an Attendance police but for your own good you'll want to show up

The model that Mrs. Lewis uses is very, very good for students. She teaches very clearly and is such a nice person. She makes sure you completely know the material. She understands that people have personal lives and will allow you to leave early if you have a job. Would definitely take her again.

She's great. Right off the bat she seems mean (she's just a lil sassy) but behind that she really just wants the best for her students. If you are struggling.. TALK TO HER. She will do whatever she can to help get you where you need to be. I took her during the summer and the work load was so heavy but she really tries her best to make things easy

Very detailed lectures. She breaks down problems step by step very clearly. Homework is not overwhelming and she gives extra credit for test reviews. Test reviews were directly correlated to what was on the exam. Even if you don't need the extra credit, do them and you will do well on exams.

I do not regret taking her. Her tests are not hard if you study the notes she give and do the homework. If you don't understand, she is happy to help.

She is really good at teaching, she explains all the math work really well to the point where anyone can understand it. She gives packets and the Practice tests are 5 pts. She also gives us a test review to do before the test, so we can practice, which helps a lot. She is a really caring person, she really does care about her students

Professor Lewis was incredibly helpful and caring throughout the entire semester. She actually wants you to succeed in her class and she is very helpful with any questions you may have with the material. I don't usually review professors often but she deserves all the praise she can get.

Professor Lewis is such a caring and loving teacher. I had a switch classroom because she was conducting a study. I watched her lectures at home and did homework in class. Whenever the class was struggling she would hold a lecture half the class to explain the concept and then help students with their homework the other half of the class. Take her!

She is not easy to reach through her email and rarely responds. All her videos were from a different teacher. She does provide different videos to help her students further though so that was good.

Prof. Lewis was great, the video instructions she shared were extremely helpful and easy to learn from. Not a ton of homework but no cake walk either. She was very easy to work with or connect with if needed. Super organized.
