Easily distracted. Class has been put off for an entire hour before due to talking about trifles. There were next to no grades for the course, which made the work completed (readings) seem meaningless. Acts more like a 'friend' to students, a favors certain ones over others, directing her lectures solely to them and ignoring the rest of the class.

Dr. T was a great teacher. She goes easy when it comes to grading papers. Her class was actually enjoyable for the most part. She'll take time out for one on one help if needed. I deffiently recommend having her as a teacher.

Good and fun teacher, plain and simple. Some people complain that she ignores some students or plays favorites. This is easy to say if you never speak up in class or make an attempt at participating. Tries to involve the entire class, but will not force anyone to. Fun class, would definitely recommend it. Don't know what 101 or 102 are like.

Dr. T is an awesome teacher, don't listen to the poor reviews! She does take awhile to get class start, but once it starts she teaches awesome! Very clear. Very very helpful teacher. Dr. T. is a great teacher and always willing to help. She is down to earth, fun, and treats everyone in class the same. In her class my papers started out poorly, but I just followed her comments that she left when grading my paper and by doing this I brought my failing grades to A?s. I had Dr. T my first semester in college. She made the transition from high school into college easy. She always made time for her students and really listened to us. I loved having her as a teacher! I wanted to take ENG 102 with her because she was so great but the class was full.

While in this class, I had to do six major essays. They weren't to hard to accomplish, but there is one thing that really gets her mad. Do NOT use a conjunction to start a sentence. She will take points off every time. I highly recommend this professor.

Dr. T is an absolutely wonderful professor. I found her very helpful and interesting. The best thing to do to ensure a good grade is take what she says seriously the first day of class. She doesn't have unreasonable expectations, but she does want to push students to think. She very obviously cares about her students, and she is flexible with them.

Dr. T is an awesome teacher, she's really helpful. there are no tests, 6 papers and 2 of which are done in class. fifth paper is a revision of the fourth paper - piece of cake class. if you dont like english and you dont know who to pick TAKE HER CLASS - even at 8am she was a great teacher

What a wonderful professor. She aided in making sure her guidelines were clear to gear students in the right direction. She went above and beyond for our class and she made the class fun and energetic to keep students focused. I was struck with a loss and I had to miss class and she went out of her way to help me out with making up work. Phnominal.

Dr. T is a great teacher. She is passionate about what she teaches, and her discussions with the class. If you care about your grades, and take her class seriously, you should have no problem getting A's. Also, attendance is mandatory, and you will see your grade drop significantly after 6 absences(unless you have a good reason).

Dr. T is, in a word, Amazing. I took her 101 and 102 and can't stop recommending her to anyone in need of english. If you plan on turning in the same paper with no changes or melting into the back of the classroom don't bother, she's too brilliant to fall for it, but if you plan on learning english and leaving class with a smile go with Dr. T!

This class was pretty sweet. This is a writing course so there is a writing assignment almost every night, but it is fun writing so no worries. It's not overwhelming and not intense. Go to class, do assignments, participate, and have fun with your writing!

She is a very good teacher if you pay attention to her, and use the feed back she gives you on your papers you will be ok. If you are having a hard time go use her office hours.

One of the only professors I actually enjoyed here at Montco. She keeps the lectures interesting with her sense of humor and is there for you in so many ways to help you out if you are struggling. Definitely recommend Dr. T!

Dr. T is the best professor EVER. I'm a good writer, but get I anxious and think "is this good or not" but Dr. T ensured me by saying "don't let that voice talk in your head". What a treat to have Dr. Rayl as my English professor! She is extremely knowledgeable, gives students detailed directions to follow, keeps the students interested, great sense of hummer. Start this class with an open mind for the main purpose of learning, follow her directions step by step! Too much pride will not take anyone too far.

Love Dr. T. She really wants you to succeed and she'll help however she can. She's passionate about what she teaches. She does conferences for each essay which is super helpful. You'll definitely learn something.

I'm currently taking her class. She is definitely one of the best professors I've ever had! She genuinely cares about your success, and the way she sets up the class is extremely helpful. If you "play the game" correctly and use her feedback to make corrections on your essays, they will turn out well. Highly recommend her!

Attendance is mandatory. She helps you a lot and gives you good feedback. Very accessible and gives you short articles to read and discuss during class. Also encourages you to work in teams. Couldn't ask for a better teacher.

Dr. T is a great professor! I took her class online and she posted lectures help us with upcoming assignments. This is one of the few professors I've had that have actually taught online classes. Usually get low A's and mainly B's on my papers. In her class I received a 96, 97, and a %100! You write one paper and then for the next two expand on it

Dr. T was very sweet, her class made me love writing. The home works were simple just a page of writing almost every class. She gives you a break and sometimes there's no homework because its class work we can take home alot of the time. Homework for the day/class work always on blackboard. Very lenient lets you email assignments on due date

I transferred to MONTCO spring 2017 and I had Dr.T for Eng101. She was hands down my favorite professor so far. She is so accommodating and willing to do as much as she can to help you pass. Do your assignments and don't be rude and you'll pass with a great grade!

Professor Rayls class was perfect for me. The syllabus was very clear and allowed amble time for completion of tasks. When I did have questions, Professor R was very responsive and clear in her answers. I was able to get an A with minimal work. You write one essay and revamp it for different writing styles. I would 100% recommend this class.

Dr. TRayl mix's creative writing class was easily the highlight of my fall semester. She balanced personability and professionalism in her teaching very well, improving my writing and giving me something to look forward to M/W/F from 10:10-11:05.

She is a great teacher. She really gets into her lectures and youre never bored. She does have a lot of pre-cancelled classes for the essays which is nice, and it helps with your essay so I recommend taking her as a first class or as a last class. She also lets out really early.

Dr. T's online ENG 102 course was a lot of work but she outlined the course very specifically and broke up all of the work into weeks. Each week was either a discussion board post, or time to work on your paper. I loved how each paper in the course built off the one prior (3 papers total) She is a tough grader so make sure you follow guidelines!

Doctor T, is amazing, I would definitely take her for other courses if I can. Do the work, PARTICIPATE, and show up. If you care, she cares. I passed with an A, others failed, they deserved to fail.

Dr. T was an amazing professor. She provided really good feedback on papers. For ENG 102 she had us write one paper based off a shorty story, and then just build off of that for the following papers. Dr. T provided a clear grading criteria and was willing to help. Powerpoints and feedback on papers is what really helped me to succeed in this course

Shes AMAZING! If you can take her class, DO IT. I took the ENG 102 class, there is only 3 essay assignments but a good amount of inclass assignments called "CAPS". Shes goes over everything very well and encourages critical thinking. Great teacher!

Dr.T is a wonderful professor. I took her creative writing class, and i have to admit i will miss it. There was a lot of small writing assignments but all you have to do is complete the assignment, she never grades on right or wrong just if there was effort. She is very insightful and genuinely cares about her students.

I took her for Women in Lit and Creative Writing, and she is an great professor. Her expectations are made clear, and she adjusts her teaching style to the different classes. Women in Lit was more discussion-based; Creative Writing was based off of activities and lectures. She is great at giving feedback on your work, and she makes every class fun.

Dr. T is an incredible asset to MC3. Her online classroom is so thoughtfully set up, I was honestly shocked on the first day of class. She gives enough time to do all the assignments, despite it being a short summer course. I am actually taking another course of hers to fulfill a CG instead of an art class because I liked her so much!!

Dr. Rayl was a great teacher. She explained the guidelines well and was accessible online. Discussion boards, reading and 3 essays were required for the course. She was lively, upbeat and positive and I enjoyed this class and would take another one with her teaching. do the work on time since she doesn't give extra credit.

Dr. T is one of my most favorite professors that I have had. She is very nice, but also caring. She gives you up to 4 missed absences because life happens. There were a few short stories we read and we have to write an essay on one and revise it and that takes the majority of the semester. I would 100% recommend her.

I took creative writing with Dr. T as my aesthetic credit, not thinking I would love the class as much as I did. Dr. T was approachable, easy to talk to, and gave awesome constructive feedback on everything I submitted. Her lessons were informative, funny, and I'd look forward to her class every morning. Professor T was an amazing professor. I took her online 6-week Eng*102 class. When I had questions she was easily accessible through email and gave thorough feedback on our papers. We had two essays, one in the third, and the second due as our final grade in the sixth week, we edited the third essay with research about the story.

I am currently in her Women In Lit. She is an amazing and gives her clear directions on what we are supposed to be. She is also reachable and her lectures are discussion heavy. You have to know what you are reading about in her class and discuss. She does not accept late work and I think it is a good thing because it teaches us to be responsible.

One discussion board every week, you definitely have to work for it but they're all really interesting. One essay and one final project -- both aren't bad at all. She's SO nice. Funny too.

This class had a balanced amount of assignments. Your grade is basically based on a weekly discussion board post and you work on the same essay basically the entire semester, improving it based on her feedback. All the material is provided on Blackboard. Her feedback is strong and if you understand it you will succeed in this class!!

As long as you show you put in effort on the work, she will see that and give you good grades. Class was fun and full of people that all got along, and she was great at taking the random topics we talked about and matching them to the course teachings. Best english teacher I've had.

Hands down the best professor I've ever had. This was my second class with her and I had a blast. She is very caring and very nice. The classes are so chill and full of fun group interaction. I always found her classroom to be a safe haven and a place to feel comfortable. Doesn't grade tough on papers, no reason you shouldn't get an A in her class.

Dr. T is easily the best professor Montco has to offer. She's incredibly compassionate and encourages but never forces students to participate. She's lenient and understanding about deadlines and always gives great feedback. If you can take her for any of the elective classes, I highly recommend that you do, she's seriously the best!

Took Dr. Rayl for English 265. Since I also took Dr. Rayl for English 102, I knew what to expect out of her (personality, grading style, etc.) Please just listen to me! Take her! If you show up and do your best, she can't knock you for trying, as she grades super laid-back and free. If you need this class as an elective, just take it! Good luck!

She quickly makes the class very comforting with her open personality. She attaches you to listen to her with how wonderfully engaging and personable she is. Students in the class are optionally allowed to share their creative writing, and no one in the class is judgmental. Just show up, meet the due dates, and you'll easily pass.

Great professor who actually cares about her students. She posts a lot of instructions that you need to read carefully to make sure that you know exactly what is expected for each assignment, but if you do that, you will know exactly what is needed to get a good grade. Dr. T is such a great professor. I took two classes with her and she's just such an encouraging and thoughtful person. She has a PhD in creative writing, but she was born to teach and share her (very contagious) passion for writing and literature with the world. Very easy class. You have to skim the story/poem before every class and do a bullet point writeup with main points and thoughts. Takes less than 5 minutes. Two essays (one in the middle and one as a final) which have creative options, content based on the stories/poems from class. The teacher is very cheery and you don't need to pay attention

Professor Rayl has to be a professor that cares about the students and wants to help them to succeed. Her teaching style reminds me of mother's. Doesn't feel stress in her presence and there to listen.
