Sister Savage is amazing. The course had some problems when it was moved to 3.0. She was very understanding and helpful. The class really helped me prepare for my mission. It is a lot of work because it is a block course but totally worth it.

I took Eternal Family FDREL200 from Sister Savage last semester. As long as you do the assignments/on time you'll have no problem passing. There are no tests or group projects but there are quizzes on reading. My only complaint with Sister Savage is she often took a long time grading and was always weeks behind on grades.

Sister Savage was an amazing religion teacher! She made me enjoy learning about the gospel. Her testimony is so strong and you will love being around her. She tells the best stories so you will never fall asleep in class. Definitely would take a class from her again.

You can tell very obviously that SIster Savage's role in Iifetime is to teach. She has had many hardships which makes her testimony more powerful and creditable. Sister Savage is one of the coolest professors I have had!! She is SO passionate about the Gospel and not only does she bring the spirit very strongly, but she is hilarious! The class period goes by so fast and you won't regret taking her. (Plus there is little to no homework). If you attend every class, you don't have to take the final exam!

Sister Savage is really fun and super spiritual. If you attend every class you don;t have to take the final which is sweet. You can tell she really cares about her students and will take time to talk with us one and one.

Sister Savage is an absolute livewire. I am the total opposite, so it took a little while to get used to her style. You'll love her by the end. Very inspirational and knows the Gospel well, but gets off topic easily. Make sure to be clear when you speak in class, because if she misunderstands, there's no stopping her.

It is really hard to get into sister Savages class. There is always a long waiting list but if you go the first day she will try to add you. If you dont like funny inspirational people then dont take her and let those of us who want to be in her class. By far the best teacher Ive ever had. I adore her.

Dr Savage changed my life! She is incredibly knowledgeable about the gospel. I left class everyday and would run home to teach my roommates what I learned. She did a Passover for our class and it was the coolest. I started this year with almost no testimony and now Im preparing for a mission. Im forever indebted to her. Love her.

I have not had good experiences with my Religion courses. My teachers seemed very superior. I loved taking this class from sister Savage. She is very different than any teacher Ive had here. She is passionate and humble. She doesnt give tests. You do a doctrinal essay which got me back into studying the gospel like I did on my mission.

COVID has been horrible for school. I have had a harder time in all my classes. Sister Savage is the one teacher that has been very understanding. Shes also taken time to talk with me one on one and it had a huge impact on my life. Im a different person from taking her class. Ive never understood the life of Christ like I do now.

Im a convert to the church and Ive never understood the Bible. I didnt grow up in a religious family. Sister Savage has helped me understand the Jews feasts, sacrifices and creation. Ive learned how to understand the Scriptures so when I read them at home Im not confused. Shes given me great study habits through the doctrinal essay

My paradigm shift on gay marriage came from sister Savages class. She helped me see the doctrine of the family and Gods desire for all of his children. I struggle with same gender attraction and Ive never been more inspired that Gods power is real. She is the perfect example of how to live a chaste life.

Her name fits her perfectly. She doesnt mess around. She teaches the doctrine perfectly and doesnt apologize for truth being true. Her live for the prophets is visible in her teaching. She teaches what they teach and what the savior would teach. Her love for the scriptures are evident. I love that she can be funny and spiritual. She is the best!

I have never loved the new testament more. This has been an incredible class even with COVID. I wish her classes were everyday! I want to listen to her all day everyday.

I took REL 200 from Sister Savage and she has had the greatest impact on my life. Shes happy, funny and loves everyone. I loved how she helped me see the importance of choosing to be converted and stay converted.

Im going on a mission because of this class. I never understood the Old Testament before. Now that I understand the gathering of Israel and what it means to be part of the house of Israel I want to serve. I feel closer to Christ and understand his role in the godhead better.

I did not get a good grade because I was struggling with depression but I did attend every class. My prayer life has completely changed because of this class and I made hard changes I never thought I could. One lesson in particular change my whole view of repentance and the Savior.

This is my all time favorite religion class. You cant help but love Sister Savage. The best part of her classes for me was the feeling I had every lesson that there was hope. This year has been so dark and so much anger but every time we had class I felt lighter. I wanted to be more like Christ and serve people more.

I cant remember the class code but it was Nee Testament. I thought I knew about Christs life. I had no idea how much I didnt know especially about the stories I was taught my whole life. Every class I left excited to go tell my wife what I learned. The last week of the saviors life was my favorite part. I wish class was longer.

I dropped this course 3 times because of the teachers. Im gay and a Mormon. Sister Savage was the first teacher that taught about what I deal with everyday in a kind doctrinally correct way. Her best friend is gay and an active member of the church. His story has inspired me. She helped me in so many ways I will forever be indebted to her.

Its been a hard year and the only thing thats gotten me through it was sister savages class. Her love for the savior and hope through dark times is inspirational. I want to be like her when I grow up :). My testimony of living prophets, the family and of my savior has grown so much because of her class.

If you want a great class and fill the spirit but not have an overwhelming amount of homework this is the class. She keeps it to a 2 credit class. Her testimony is inspirational. She knows the Old Testament so well and its so engaging and not boring!

This was the best religion class I have taken at BYUI. The work load was fair to a two credit class. Sister Savage is brilliant with her knowledge of the gospel. I enjoyed every class and left wanting to improve. She's happy and has a lot of energy.

Sister Savage is pretty good. She's a little bit intense. She's really passionate about the law of chastity. She's really cool though, I have felt the spirit almost every class. she doesn't accept late work at all. Homework is usually easy but there's this huge essay you have to work on the entire semester.

Class is super easy. If you have 100% attendance, you don't have to do the final 2000 word essay. 3 essay reports throughout the semester of 500 words, but those are seriously the only assignments. Does read a lot of the scriptures and talks about her life maybe too much in class. But she is super nice and makes amazing connections I never knew of.

Best teacher Ive ever taken at BYUI! I learned so much. I never knew about the Enochian covenant. It put everything into perspective. I loved every lesson. It was extremely powerful. Sister Savage is fantastic!

Sister Savage is the most funny teacher I have ever had, but at the same time brings the spirit and testifies powerfully of Jesus Christ. She shares a lot of inspiring experiences. This was a pretty chill class, just show up and keep up on the running document. There are 3 to 4 short essays that are given A's pretty much just for finishing it.

Sister Savage is extremely easygoing and nice. She is very understanding of personal situations and tries her hardest to accommodate for any problems students might have. The only big assignment you have is an easy ongoing doctrinal study thing throughout the semester with 2 1-page papers and a 4-page paper. Everything else is just attendance

Sister Savage is my favorite religion teacher by far! I always left her class feeling loved and inspired. There are a few short essays you have to write to talk about a doctrine you study, however they were very straight forward. She is also caring and very knowledgeable about the gospel. I would recommend her for sure!

Great professor. Really cares for you. Make sure to attend every day, and she might not make you take the final. She can be a bit all over the place, but in positive and spiritual way. She's willing to let class go the way the students need it to. Class can go over time but not too bad. You need to communicate and reach out early if struggling

Sister Savage is one of the greatest religion professors I have ever had! She knows the material and you can tell she really cares about her students! However, I will say that a super high percentage of your grade is attendance and participation, so if you don't want to go to class, don't take a class from Sister Savage, but she is a great teacher!

Sis Savage is the most chill religion professor you'll ever meet. She's super funny and is totally herself. Class was insanely easy. You don't even have to go on the podcast days. She also has a class party at her house at the end of the semester. Super sick lady overall.

She is not a professor for everyone, but she has been one of my favorite religion professors. Yes, you will probably hear about her past relationship experiences, but they are not pity shares, she brings it back to something you can apply. She is hilarious and very different from many professors. She knows and is passionate about the topic.

- There are 3 or 4 papers in the whole class and probably 1 weekly quiz. - She gives you the opportunity to make up for attendance. - If you do your papers and have 100% attendance you will not need to do the last essay. - Really funny, but might not be everyone's cup of tea.

She openly says she has ADHD, and while that can sometimes be reflected in her lectures, I find that I learned more applicable gospel principles through her life experiences. Her dating life has come up, but it's never a bashing thing, and it ALWAYS ties into the lesson. I will forever rave about Sister Savage!

With Sister Savage, I took World Religions and she is understanding that once it becomes finals week, your religion class is low on priority. Throughout the year she is willing to work with students and if you have perfect attendance, you will not have to do the final paper. There are papers after every unit and each section does have a word count.

Sister Savage-Humphries is great! She is really passionate about the subject matter and really cares about the understanding of her students. She is very fast at responding to questions and communicating outside of class. She takes advice and questions well and is great at connecting the subject to what is going on in our lives.

Sister Savage is wonderful. The only problem I had with her class was the singing at the start of the class, so I often showed up a little late to skip that.

I loved taking Eternal Families with Sister Savage-Humphreys! She is so caring and funny. Her stories of application filled the room with the Spirit. There are a lot of opportunities to share with the class and a neighbor. All of her teaching was from scripture or prophets. The final was a personal project to exemplify what you took away.

She shares personal and meaningful stories, always ties lessons back to the scriptures and the Family Proclamation. Her stories make the topics feel relevant. If you don't like loud or energetic professors, this class may not be for you. However, she's passionate, engaging, and never judges.

Sister Savage (Humphreys) is an inspiration to us all. I loved her class so much! If given the opportunity, I would love to take the class again with a seriously inspirational teacher. What more can I say?

Only has her for a couple weeks before she had to leave due to health reasons but she is a great story teller and I liked how she invited the spirit. You get out of class however much you put in.
