I hated math before I had this class. I ended up getting an A, because I actually understood what I was doing.

This teacher is great. Math has never really made complete sense to me. After taking this class, I now realize it's because I have had bad teachers in the past. Tim Bryan is the best.

Very cool teacher. Explains things a number of times to be sure that eveyone understands. Doesnt collect homework, so that is an option. Very oppinionated person, which I find halarious.

He makes math easy to understand for people that don't get it. Don't irritate him though, and no excuses for the tests. I got two wisdom teeth pulled and he wouldn't let me make up the test, so I had to take it one hour after I got teeth pulled. I am very bad at math though, and I got an A in this class, so that says something about his abilities.

He can be a total jerk, but he's brilliant at teaching math. Just make sure you stay on his good side!

You dont have to buy a book for this class, he teaches in a way that you understand the material. Great teacher

This teacher is funny and blunt to say the least. He is an excellent math teacher i recommend him but not if u cant handle the harsh reality he makes u aware of.

This guy may not be very gifted when it comes to using proper english but I absolutly love his teaching style. I was terrified about having a two hour math class but he manages to keep it interesting. Yes, he is extremly opinionated but I feel it adds flare to the class. Besides, it is nice to hear from the more liberal side of the community.

He found his calling doing what he does best...teaching math. There is not much else I can say but thanks Tim.

Tim is an excellant math teacher. I took him for three semesters. He explains things very well, and is open to lots of questions. He is the best math teacher I ever had. I was not good at all in math before taking his class. He relates to students very well. He says he doesn't care, but he really does. Highly reccommended. Take his class if you can

He makes everything so easy to understand. His tests are also pretty easy. He is a funny guy but not very politcally correct. I think he is hilarious though.

He's cool; His teaching style is very easy going. Doesn't use text book and doesn't give out homework. It is almost "impossible" to fail his class; The cool thing is that he will talk and talk about something that's not even related to math so that kills plenty of time. Also he's very "liberal"; almost radical, which is pretty cool.

Tim is awesome! If you show up to class every day and do the homework and projects, its an easy A. The guy LETS you have a cheat sheet of formulas for the tests. Tim- you're amazing! Thank you for giving me confidence in Algebra. I NEVER thought I could get an A and could've never done it w/out you. I hope you get that electric car someday.....

He is a good teacher, he writes his own material so you wont have to buy a textbook. He does not collect homework or check attendance. He does let you have a copy of notes for the test. if you show up and pay attention you will pass.

This is hands down THE BEST Brief Calculus Professor there is. He makes things super simple and will help you as much as you need during his office hours. I took this class at GCC with a lame professor (name withheld) and got a D. Thanks to professor Bryan, I actually understood the material and got almost a perfect 100% as my final grade!!

Absolutely the best Algebra Teacher. He is crystal clear in his teachings and also what he expects out of you. If you do your part you will get an A. If you don't you won't.

Got over a 100% in his class. He explains the problems very well and doesn't use a book which is a plus. Only 3 tests also no real final. Doesn't assign homework either. Great teacher.

GREAT GREAT professor...if you think you can not pass calculus this is the teacher to take because he's easy and he explains his material extremely well...he tries to scare you at first but nothing to worry about...easy class and cool teacher

I TOOK TIM BRYAN ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO I WAS A 41 YEAR OLD BACK TO SCHOOL MOM WORKED 40 N HOURS A WEEK AND DEFINITELY TOOK MATH A LONG TIME AGO I WAS COMFORTABLE AND UNDERSTOOD WHAT HE TEACHES AND BELIEVE ME HE TRYS TO BE SURE EVERYONE UNDERSTANDS BEFORE HE MOVES ON .GOOD MORAL IN CLASS TO ALSO GREAT HISTORY KNOWLEDGE

Extremely approachable guy, makes the material easy to swallow and simplifies it enough so that its almost impossible for the student not to get it. Oh, and this man really likes what he does, this paragraph doesn't do the man enough justice. Their is a reason why Bryan's classes are always filled, he is literally that good of a teacher.

Took this a few years ago. I recommend him. He will expect you to work and he will gladly help. Even offered for me to attend his other Calc III classes (when i was in that course) if I wanted...unfortunately the timing didn't work. Just do the work and ask questions.

The BEST math Teacher I have had. If you are ready to learn, you will have an easy A. His material is EASY to understand and you do NOT have to turn in homework BUT It is HIGHLY recommended that you do some of it though. He is a GREAT teacher and many students know it. That is why his classes immediately fill up.

BEST MATH TEACHER EVER! I went to a private school in High School and none of my teachers there even compare to Bryan. I passed that class with B and math is a VERY hard class for me.

Awesome math teacher! Also he doesn't use a textbook, he has written his own workbook. He also uploads all his notes online so if you miss class you can just print them out. He's super helpful and I really enjoyed his class.

He is a GREAT teacher. Knows absolutely what he is doing. He explains himself very clearly and communicates exactly what he expects from you. Treats students as mature adults and holds individuals accountable for their own success. Highly recommend!

I really miss taking his class but I am done with all of my math requirements. I highly recommend him because he can change how you view math. You might start to love it!

STEM students would be well advised to pass on T Bryan for any of the required calc sequence. Wasted a month on calc1 in calc2 and then skipped core competencies (Taylor series and other) because he ran out of time. Disorganized and no outline of coverage - 20 min of lecture on colored pencils and staplers - repeatedly. Teaches frustratingly slow.

He is absolutely the most amazing math teacher you can possibly have. IF you think you are bad in math, well when he teaches you, you will master the material. His exams are not easy but he is so clear on material that you WILL get an A. He also uses his own handout for book which is really helpful as far as money.

Mr. Bryan is probably one of the most effective Math professors I've ever taken a course with. Yes, he's no-nonsense, but he explains concepts VERY thoroughly and gives his students plenty of opportunities to do well. Plus, he posts lectures online and has his own version of a textbook that students can print, which saves a lot of money.

Mr. Bryan, is a no nonsense math professors, he explains concepts step by step and posts the lectures online. His exams are difficult you must study the material and do the home work to get an A. the home work is not graded, if you are having trouble with a problem and e-mail it to him he will e-mail back Want an easy C find someone else Recommend

AMAZING professor. Only 3 tests, no textbook. he makes his own outlines that i suggest printing out. Gives at least 3 extra credit problems throughout the semester. Allows 1 pages of notes front and back on tests. 6 projects, he does most of it in class with us. Overall AMAZING teacher. Passed with a 91 so its doable!! practice the hw. Helps a lot

Make sure you understand. If you don't the course make be difficult. Always ask questions. TIm can be a bit tough but he is a really good teacher.

Professor Bryan was terrific! Enjoyed going to class and learning from him. His class is straight forward. 3 exams. Allows 1 page of notes on exams. He assigns hw from the book but does not grade it so its mainly for you to practice. Notes are posted online. He works well with students. I highly recommend taking this professor.

I would not recommend Mr. Bryan, he spends too much time explaining little details that are not necessary rather than just showing you how to do the math problem. He also likes to ramble and get off topic and has issues respecting Students Time. Ask a question that could be answered in one sentence and you will get a paragraph. Would not take again

Tim is a great instructor. The way he teaches math is very organized and detailed. He doesn't skip any steps shows you step by step how to figure it out. He has dry humor which to me is hilarious. His tests are easy, and allows one page of notes. I would recommend him to anyone taking any math at PC

Explains the course material in an easy-to-understand manner at a comfortable pace. Homework is targeted at specifically learning and understanding the material while building towards the next steps. Whereas tests are focused on proving the student has succeeded in learning. He takes a personal interest in his role and his students' success.

So basically come to class, learn the lecture, if you miss it, he posts everything he lectured online. he doesn't collect Homeworks but you have to do it for practice, otherwise. He doesn't take attandance, so he doesn't care if you're there on not, but of course, the more days u miss the more you'll be lost, so just come dude. a bit rude so 8/10.

He has own teaching strategies, its great cause he simplify's the lectures. Great professor, if you can't pass this class, than math isn't your cup of tea.

He doesn't grade homework but it is so important to do it in order to be comfortable with the material to pass the tests. There are only 3 tests and a couple projects / extra credit assignments for additional points. Lecture-style teaching but it is very good.

His classes are easily passable if you take the time to do the homework and participate in class. Lectures are easy to understand and follow. Projects are the same and he is always happy to provide feedback and give extra assistance. Would definitely recommend for anyone to take.

Tim Bryan is a genius instructor, I had him for Math 120 and 151. He takes the time to explain things to you , and the he posts his notes online for you to review later which helped me a lot. I highly recommend him.

He's a great professor and a very fair grader. I took him for 121 and 151 because I liked him so much. He is super funny and clearly explains the information he teaches. You are allowed a page of notes for each exam, so it is very easy to get an A in his class. He doesn't collect homework but it is still good to do it for practice. Great guy!

Tim is the best math instructor you will ever have. I can site several examples but nothing will matter more than to just tell you he is a fantastic facilitator who can teach ANYONE math. NO BOOK! All lectures/notes posted online to view 24/7. He does many examples and explains EVERY STEP. You must be respectful because he does not mess around.

I swear he is one of the best college professor I have encounter. He can be tidiness but his teaching is amazing. Repetition helps a lot in learning, he likes to repeat. His exams are reasonable. He lets us use a sheet of notes. Overall He is amazing, his humor is dry but hilarious. :)

Great instructor, can side track at times but does not become an issue. Took him for 212 & 218. Posts all lecture notes online, readily responds to questions/emails. Show up and do the homework and you will pass.

Mr. Bryan makes math very simple. I was afraid to finally take brief calc but he was a great instructor. He allows one page of notes, no homework is graded, only 3 test for the class. Take him if you are scared of math. He is the best!

Tim is incredible. If you're looking for a math teacher and reading this review, stop looking. Tim can make any nervous math student learn what he's teaching. He is beyond thorough, posts EVERYTHING he writes online, has an interesting sense of humor, but will not baby you. No book, HW is not required, only 3 tests. You will pass with Tim.

AMAZING teacher! Hes the type of teacher that will help you when youre struggling to understand a mathematical problem. Its really nice because during exams he gave me a chance to fix the incorrect answers. Id look forward to take his class first thing in the mornings since it was not only easy but really enjoyable. 10/10 would recommend!

He always posts his lectures after class and is a very easy grader for tests. Just make sure to keep track of everything and pay attention during class.

I took Mr Bryan for my math120, Math150, and math213. He's such an amazing instructor. He is very knowledgeable and really knows math. He does not use any MathAs or Moore online software. He actually uses google site to upload his DETAILED math notes online so you can print them out or go over them later if you need to.

Mr. Bryan is a very nice teacher, he knows how to summarize Maths such that you understand better in just a short period of time. He has at least 3 different methods including formulas to use in order to solve a particular question or problem. He responds to emails faster than some other teachers on campus. I highly recommend him guys.

I was honored to have worked with him for MAT 151. As someone who struggles in math he explained math that was really easy to understand. He told some interesting stories, encouraged questions, and emails the lectures after class! He might be retired by now from teaching, but his classes really changed the way I looked at math, he was amazing!

This class is lecture-heavy but enjoyable. There are group projects and individual projects but he gives enough time to complete them. Attendance is not mandatory and he doesn't utilize canvas. If you want to know your grade he will let you know if you ask. He is easy to get ahold of, he gives out homework for practice but it is not due.

Mr. Bryan is a fantastic math teacher. I believe he retired this year, but I posted this in case he ever reads it. I want him to know that he made understanding math easy. Thank you, sir!
