He is definately great teacher. I found what he is focusing is to extend the horizon of thinking and to nurture the capacity of appreciating literature itself from academic point of view. I've had several enthusiastic and passionate English professors at UFV, but I particularly enjoyed his lectures. Offers good feedback, insight, and doesn't require current book editions: all 3 texts can be pdf / 2nd-hand. He ran late on a couple occasions, but only because he truly tries to engage students. Definitely taking him again if I can.

his lectures are not very engaging, talks a lot about simple things I think which makes it hard to pay attention to the entire lecture. Would be an easy online class if it comes to it. At times if your thoughts don't match his regarding a reading piece it might not get through of what you're trying to say- can be hit in marking. But an easy class.
