I dreaded taking a speech class, but this teacher was one of the greatest that I've had at the school. He has a great sense of humor, he made things very clear and I felt that he graded fairly on the speeches themselves.

this class is awesome, and tim is an exclent teacher. very easy to follow and grades evenly. just keep remindiding him that will soon be using alavcor.

Comm major, so i took all of his speech classes. He's not the greatest on debate but he is still the greatest teacher LPC has to offer. Fun, engaging, intelectually stimulating, and a pleasure to be in class with.

Has tim once loved it took him for another class. Great speech teacher really knows what hes talking about. Lots of oportunity for EC if you need it and keeps classes intertaining. Very funny guy. teaches cause he likes it and it shows. He teaches fast track classes that are awsome. Take Tim for Speech you will not be disapointed!

Took this class fast-track, and one of the best teachers I've had at LPC. First teacher to have a sense of humor, and actually knows how to talk to students. Would definantly recommend, esp fast track. Heisler is a great teacher.

Coolest teacher you will ever have! I love all of his examples and it really helps with understanding the concepts. Anyone who does not like speeches, get him as a teacher! He is the best! He will get you through this class!

This professor is extremly easy. You dont have to read the book because he lectures on the material you are assigned to read. IMPOSSIBLE not to pass this class if you go to class and take notes on his lectures. Only have to do 2 real detailed speeches the other speeches are for fun. Very clear and easy to understand. I don't think i've ever laughed so much in a classroom before. Really eases your mind. You need the book for the tests, but if you take good notes in class you'll be fine on the tests. Nearly impossible to not get at least a B if you pay attention.

Tim is an odd ****sapien. Easy class.All you gotta do is go up there and wing everything, and you'll get an A. Make it sound like you believe what you're talking about, and he'll never know. (Trust me on this)don't even worry about it. You don't have to study at all to do well. And just a hint, he loves speeches on abortion and global warming!

This class was literally a therapy session. I sometimes laughed more in his class than I did all day. He is the teacher who has mastered the art of getting things done, while still enjoying the time you spend in class. Take his class; you won't regret it!

AWESOME TEACHER! I had Tim's fast track class so for half of the semester I saw him twice a week and for 3 hours each class. sounds like it would suck but it didnt at all! he made the classes go by so fast and made your speech nerves seem like no big deal! If you have a problem or are dredding speech take Heisler!!

Tim is a great speech teacher! He's hilarious and helped me think of topics and was very innovative and smart. As an entire class we all had the chance to get to know each other and I think this helped in preparing speeches with an audience i knew. Would recommend him #1 for Speech and Debate classes.

He is a really great teacher! I took him for the fast track Speech 1 course which was 9 weeks for 3 hours 2 days a week. He made the time go by fast and made lectures interesting. Tim is an awesome speech instructor. He knows the subject clearly and his is fun and informative. He loves helping students when he is approached. Heisler is hilarious, super fun, very clear, and helps everyone to be calm on speech days. Quizzes are not hard at all as long as you read the book, take good notes and follow his study guides. this was the class I was dreading and I ended up being sad when it ended! chilipepper cause he asked for one and he's awesome so he gets one!

Tim is a kind individual and a passionate teacher when it comes to rhetoric. I would advise against the once-a-week class, because I found it weird and stressful. I barely got to know my professor and the classmates I had to work with. I learned a bit of useful information, though. Just do your best with each assignment, and he will recognize it!

Tim is a cool guy I enjoyed everything about the class except for the presentations. Lets face it most people do not enjoy giving presentations but if you are going to take a speech class do it with Heisler. He has a good sense of humor and it is easy to tell that he loves his job.

Who wants to sit in speach for 3 hours.twice a week? Initially I thought I was going to hate it but Tim was great! Super funny, very understanding and very helpful. I HIGHLY recommend his class. He does expect you to do research on your speeches but as long as you give your best shot at delivering you should do fine.

Will never use textbook. Tim is really funny and makes the class go by fast. Great teacher, great person. Super easy A because at the end of the semester he adds 4% to your grade for attending a debate show. Overall kinda hard grader on essays, but with the 4% you just need to get an overall 86%. I took Heisler's fast track class so it was a 3 hr class. He made the class fun and the time went by really fast. He is super funny and entertaining with great stories. As the class went on in the semester, he started to grade harder on speeches which is expected. His tests were not easy for me even though I studied. He offers extra credit

I absolutely loved this teacher! I was scared before I walked into the class, but the first 10 minutes was like being in a comedy club. I knew I'd love it from there. I took the fast track class and it was great! I would totally recommend Tim. He's wicked awesome!

Funny guy, but makes you work for your grade. If you're looking for an easy A, Tim is not your guy. He is a mildly difficult grader and also has writtenscantron quizzes pertaining to chapters in the book . Also, he is very lazy at posting grades- he claims to post them at a certain date but prolongs it. However, he is a very excellent teacher.

Tim is easily the best professor I have had at Las Positas thus far. It's not an easy A, but it's not very difficult to do well either. There's five speeches and two tests, and he goes over all the material very well. Can't wait to take speech 46 with him next semester.

Love him. Amazing teacher and ridiculously hilarious. Don't think that he's an easy A because of that, though. He will find flaws in your speeches one way or another. Don't take his advice in performing speeches for granted, because they are legitimate ways to help you. Practice, practice, practice.

Tim is a great teacher. However, don't expect his class to be easy. I ended with an A after the final, while having a low B all semester. Listen and take notes, study his lectures and do the study guides, perform well on speeches-and you should pass the class easily. To get an A, however, you have to at DEFINITELY WORK for it.

I found him to be amazingly specific with his expectations in the classroom. Very fun class to be in, which was a complete shock going into the semester. The ONLY thing that was a struggle were the tests. Fortunately they only make up a fraction of the grade. If you aren't prepared to give your speech when it's due your grade will suffer.

Oh my god! If you have to take a speech class you must take it with Tim Heisler! Sure, the classes are very long with a fast track class, but he made it interesting and entertaining and memorable. He helped me so much after class to make sure I got the information and was ready for each assignment. Absoultely stellar!

He goes by "Tim". I am taking another class of his just because he was so good. He jokes, and makes you feel at home. He is a great teacher. Bringing canned goods wipes off any tardies you may have. Just be respectful of different opinions and participate and you will love him.

Very hard quizzes, but there's a study guide for each one and I got an A on all of them, but the book is really needed for the tests. A very relaxing environment that I found most helpful. funny and educational. i did well on everything but the test. the second test i did much better because i knew how to study for it. even then the tests are a small fraction of the grade. it is a speech class after all. follow the ouline format he gives you and you can't go wrong. got an A with the extra credit option at the end of the semeste

The best Speech teacher I've ever taken. Makes class really interesting so it's hard to fall asleep. Very flexible if you have things going on in your life. Speech night is extremely amazing. I would take him again with no hesitation whatsoever. Clear, fair, funny, encouraging and supportive. What more do you want in a teacher?! Assignments are spelled out so there is no misunderstanding as to what is expected. "A" means excellent. "B" means good. "C" means youre average. It's pretty clear and I found him to be extremely fair.

Great professor I would recommend anyone that hasn't taken speech or loves speech he will make you love speech even if you're shy or always a nervous speaker. You have to work at the A, but it's college, right? By simply showing up and paying attention you can get a C, but you have to work at it if you want the A or the F. If you fail you're simply not doing the work. LOVED him as an instructor. Made the classroom VERY comfortable. "students" who gripe about this guy shouldn't be in college.

Like many people, I had an overwhelming fear of public speaking. Thanks to Tim's awesome class I was able to conquer this fear and I ended up impressing myself with my ability to present as well. He makes the class feel comfortable and friendly, and he also gives good constructive criticism so you know what you're strengths and weaknesses are.

Had Tim fall 2016 and I thought the class was going to be hard at first, turned out to be easier expected. He keeps lectures interesting with stories and examples. From the 1st day easily my most enthusiastic professor, in the fstrk class, Althoug the three hour class is long, he makes it bearable with his energetic demeanor and quality sense of humor. His tests are tough, but after failing the first one I get A's on the next two. He provides a study guide. This is about my 10th online class. Tim is very organized, and if you are too then this will be an easy class. Plenty of time to do the work, usually in weekly increments. Stuff to do every week. You have to video your speeches and he's very picky about the video and audience requirements. Totally online. No streaming or skyping. I liked it!

Took this class online. I was disappointed because his classroom reviews are so good. Turned out to be a nice experience. He's very responsive and helpful and organized. If you check in multiple times a week you'll be fine, but that's true with most online classes. Speeches are turned in thru videos and the audience requirements are tricky.

I actually was disappointed on the days I couldn't go to his class, unless it was a speech day. That NEVER happens. Great personality and energy. GREAT. The only thing I wanted more of were examples of what the speeches look like. DON'T volunteer to go on the first day. Watch others and then make adjustments is my advice. He should do stand up!

gives good feedback and provides you with textbook. Super funny and easy going, but he will not hold back with knocking a few points off of assignments. super easy for speech and since the class was taken online, speeches are recorded and uploaded so you have multiple chances to get the perfect video of your speech.

The best online class I have ever taken! The most responsive and interactive instructor Ive ever had. very clear and specific with his lessons. There is alot of reading, but he also makes things very clear, and hes encouraging and challenging. Im taking him again.

Its weird taking an online speech class, but Mr. Tim pulled it off. This turned out to be way better than I expected and he was my most involved instructor. Most of my other professors still have no idea who I am. He is helpful and willing to Zoom if you ever need additional pointers. Take him! Without hesitation take his class!

Professor Heisler is a fun and informative professor. By far the most understanding and easy going professor I've had at Las Positas. It was interesting taking a speech class online, but professor Heisler made it fun and I absolutely hate public speaking. Highly recommend taking professor Heisler's classes.

He was a fantastic professor I was dreading taking CMST1 but honestly turned out to be my favorite class that semester. 10/10 great teacher.

His class (introduction to communication studies) was the best. He gives really good feedback and he is always excited about the material taught in the class. I'd recommend his class to anyone.

Proffessor Tim is the first teacher I've had since 6th grade where I was challenged to do better. "This is ok, but I know you can do better.." Unfortunately, he was right. I wasn't trying. Mailing it in is not good enough unless you want a C. I appreciate that. Very detailed with is assignments. WATCH OUT FOR ASSIGNMENTS WITH TWO PARTS.

I just finihsed professor Tim's fast track class. I didn't do as well as I liked because it was fast track, but the class is very clearly laid out and the instructions are super clear. Among the clearest I've had in my online classes this year. He's picky with camera angles, but offers extra credit. Don't neglect the extra creidit!

IF YOU NEED A SPEECH CLASS TAKEN CARE OF TAKE HIM. Well if you are not easily self motivated I would not recommend taking him. He has extremely clear grading criteria, and is very transparent. He is extremely understanding and always ready to help his students. You will only suffer if you do not do the work and do not ask for help. TAKE HIM!!

HE'S AMAZING! So great at public speaking and really knows how to help. Some weeks are more chill than others, but overall, there are only three major speeches for the class. He helps you prepare so well before so you don't cram the night before. Take advantage of office hours, he definitely will favorite you, and it'll reflect in his grading!

Do yourself a favor and take Tim Heisler's class if you are taking speech! He gives constructive and detailed feedback, and is quick to respond. When I had some technical difficulties that affected a quiz Tim was more than understanding and worked with me. What he expects from you is clear and if you complete the work you will excel in his class.

For someone who was terrified of public speaking I can honestly say that he helped me so much! He is absolutely so caring and gives you such in depth feedback to make sure you are getting the grade you want. He offers so many sources for information that it all helps a lot. I RECOMMEND HIM TO EVERYONE NERVOUS ABOUT THIS CLASS! He makes it so easy!

I was going to do a speech on why dogs are better than cats. He told me we were in college and I should raise the bar on my effort. I was initially really ticked off, but I've never had a teacher tell me to my face that I was just mailing it in. And I was. I hated him for it. Now I respect him for it. Worked hard for a B. And am proud of it.

He gives out way too much work. There's 3-4 assignments due EVERYDAY and sometimes a few due on the weekends. Tough grader! Never wants to give you 100%. He does have 4-5 extra credit opportunities. Gives amazing feedback & you can tell he's a passionate teacher. Very overwhelming because of all the assignments. He's nice but I would not take again

Took the 5-Week summer class and it was a LOT of work. Multiple assignments every day. I took a different class of his last semester. 18 weeks was much more manageable. I found him to be extremely helpful, respecful and he aways gave great feedback and advice when I asked questions. Worked hard for an A and got it.

Took Professor Heisler's summer class in 2021. it's a lot of work because its only five weeks long. There is alot of reading because it's all online. Alot! But everything you need to know is in the instructions. I can't speak to what the other people experienced, but in 4 years he was by far the best online teacher I've had. Take his class.

Professor heisler was incredibly clear with his instructions. follow them and you'll get a good grade. Some of the assignments have a ridiculous amount of instructions, but if you know how to follow instructions you'll get an A. And do the extra credit work. Pretty easy class. And he is really helpful if you reach out to him

I finished the class with 97% and didn't feel like I worked too hard to get it. More than half of the class got an A. I could've coasted a bit more than I did it seems. Maybe too easy for a college class? It's as simple as following the rules he sets in the assignments. Like everywhere else, give the teacher what they want and get the A.

Re: Communications 1 Took during Summer of 2021 and I would NOT advise taking to another as an accelerated course. At least not with Heisler. It's clear he takes the subject seriously and wants you to succeed as a speaker, but the approach is more like theater lessons and unrealistic largely. A lot of HW & tough grading discouragement.

Free textbook! That alone saved me, what, $100? I'll never take a summer class again, but I'll take professor hiesler again. I took an online class so we had to submit videos of the speeches. That was a little challenginig to manage, but the requirements are reasonable under the circumstances. He is an encouraging teacher, which is nice

He said that everybody should give him a rating good or bad so that people would know what to expect from his class. I thought that was pretty gutsy so here I am. I wasn't sure I liked him at first until we set up a zoom meeting. He was so incredibly nice and helpful. The best online experience I've had yet in two years.

Had lots of homework but it was the summer course, so spring/fall should be okay in terms of amount of assignments. Good teacher and great person, you can tell he knows what he is doing. Final grade heavily relies on speeches, do a good job on those and your golden.

Really good at what he does. Going to take him again. Follow his very specific instructions and you will succeed.

Came to RMP to score another professor and came across this name. I took Tim's class a few years ago while on campus. The best lecture-based class I've ever taken after four years of college and university experience. Such a fun class.

Free textbook. Extra Credit. Clear instructions. If you manage your time well this is an easy class. If you don't then don't take an online class.

I absolutely love Professor Heisler. He is funny and extremely informative, you can tell he cares about his students. There is definitely a solid amount of work for his classes but they are very manageable/easy. He is somewhat of a tough/picky grader but he wants you to try your best. If you put in the time, you can get an A in his classes.

I found Tim to be extremely helpful. I took an asynchronous class and there was a lot of reading. Quizzes are open book and easy, and not worth very much of the final grade. Seems like a lot of assignments that weren't ultimatley worth a lot of points. I emailed him numerous times and he was very prompt and very helpful with his responses.

A great professor who really wants you to learn the material. Gives lots of amazing feedback so you know exactly how to improve. His comments are always very encouraging and uplifting. Put in the work and you will get a good grade : )

Professor Heisler was super helpful when I reached out to him with questions. Very quick with getting back to me in his emails. Really good with returning work quickly at the start o fthe semester, took a little longer to hear back from him by the end of the semester. I will look for him in other speech classes and take him again for sure.

the best classroom experience I've ever had. Professor Heisler truly cares about his students and is super funny. i learned a lot and didn't even know it was happening. that's the mark of a great teacher in my mind.

A very respectable amount of work for a college class. Not too hard, not too easy. Good instructions throughout. I took his asynchronous class so you have to know how to work at your own pace and balance your time, which was tough for me. I appreciated his honest feedback and encouraging advice.

Came by to rate all my professors from the semester. A previous comment here made me laugh. "he forgets this is a community college." This isn't a community ed class, it's college! Very fitting workload and easy to maneuver. Tim was very constructive and encouraging and helpful. Lots of instructions so read them all, and then get the A.

Easy A. Just follow the directions. Don't wait until the last minute to do your weekly work. I took the online class. Seems like a very nice guy. Responsive to emails. I'd take him again without hesitation.

Out of 29 people in the class 19 got A's and 7 got B's. Super clear with what he wants you to do. Easy class if you've got self discipline because this is largely a work-at-your-own-pace class. If you're a procrastinator this class is not for you.

This was a nice and straight forward class. Very organized and easy to follow. I was a little disappointed that people who worked much less hard than me were getting grades equal to mine, so I relaxed and coasted the rest of the way home. Got an A with no problem. Do the extra credit.

I learned so much from this class. I thought it was just going to be about how to give a speech, but it went into so much more, and it immediately helped me in my other classes. Great lessons, but it's easy to skim over them if you are not careful. Great feedback and Professor Heisler is tremendously supportive. Loved the experience here.

Here's some easy advice - if you're taking his online class schedule a zoom meeting so you can talk to him directly. He's such and easy going, helpful, cool instructor. He walked me through my every question. I ended up with about 97% for the class. Didn't need to do any of the extra credit. Normal amount of work for college I think.

I took professor Heisler's fast track class. It is like a summer session. Lots to do each week, but done about halfway through the semester. Fortunatly I was only taking 9 units so it was manageable. Then the second part of the semester was a breeze. Very clear instructions. Not easy, but not hard.

Professor Heisler is an amazing teacher, he knows a lot about communication and will always have something valuable to teach you. Tim is very very professional and will work with you to be successful so you can get a good grade. Put in the effort and don't slack off in this class. The hate on here is because people are lazy and get complacent.

After a rough start I figured Tim out and aced the rest of the class. Bottom line, he is very specific about what he wants, but he's also very detailed in his description of what he wants. So if you follow the instructions and give him what he wants you'll get a good grade. Almost everybody got an A or a B in my class.

Talk to him! This is the best advice I can give. He is SO MUCH nicer in person than he comes across online. He doesn't come across badly online, but he is actually fun to talk to through zoom. And it will help your grade. I promise you. Make the connection with this teacher and you will thrive. Follow instructions to the letter.

I absolutely love this professor. I am so glad I took him for my CMST requirement. He is easy-going and really nice. As long as you go into detail in your explanations, it is an easy A.

There's work to do evvery single week, so make sure you stay on top of it. There are about 6 different extra credit thigns you can do throughout the semester. They really helped my grade so don't miss them. He was a bit picky about the persuasive speech. I would suggest scheudling a meeting with him. If you do then you'll do fine.

Awesome teacher! Textbook used but it's free online. Only 3 "big" speeches required but are recorded on your own so you can redo it as much as you'd like. Overall fun class and the teacher is very understanding too.

One of the easiest online classes i've ever taken. Just don't miss the deadlines, and do the extra credit. you should also set up a zoom meeting with him if you're taking an online class. He is super nice and incredibly helpful and supportive. I'm taking him again in person next semester. Great teacher.

THis was an asynchronous class, so there is a lot of reading, but Professor Heisler's class is very organized. He also provides feedback to everything you turn in, which is not something I get from most of my online professors. I will definitely take another class of his if I get the chance. He was very friendly and encouraging.

You have to participate and give clear answers with an explanation. Tim is very funny, and I appreciate his humor. He is very clear on the assignment and gives feedback to help you improve. I definitely recommend taking his class.

You will never get 100% on any of your assignments. He will knock you off for random reasons. Your speeches matter, obviously. The quizzes are not hard but they also are not worth much. Participate in your discussion boards and make sure to read everything.

You will only get 100% if you are perfect. And nobodys perfect. Even so, about half the class ended up with an A grade. So, overall this was a rather easy online class. Lots of instructions for the speeches. Do the extra credit. I will take him again. Ask for help, even if you don't need it. You'll get on his good side that way.

He sometimes takes a while to get work corrected and back to you, but the feedback is helpful and constructive and it's received in time to be useful for the next assignments. Watch the videos, it helps you understand his personality and makes the lessons easier.

Best Professor. I've never had a Professor that grades as fast as he does, gives specific feedback on each assignment.He explains every lesson with detail and gives specific instructions.Make sure you read all Instructions. Quizzes are super easy if you do your reading, and there is only 3 MAJOR speeches where you record yourself then upload them.

About half the class received an A. Most of the rest received B's. Pretty simple and straightforward if you follow the instructions. Really, if you can't get a B from this teacher you're just not reading the instructions. Found it to be one of the easier classes this semester. There are a lot of assignments though, about 3-4 per week.

I had a really good exeperiece with Tim. Set up a zoom appointment, it helps. A lot of people seem to expect 100% scores on every assignment but their speeches and work were obviously not perfect, so I don't know what the deal there is. I got a A and had to work for it but this is college and you SHOULD have to work for an A, shouldn't you?

I hated the class because I hate public speaking, but I loved Tim. He is super clear on the expectations for the speeches. Go over your outline with him before the speech is due. He is nice and supportive to talk to and he eased my anxiety tremendously. It also helps that the speeches don't have to be totally memorized and notecards are allowed.

I don't know how, but the man gives next-level feedback on assignments. So detailed and useful. Do not expect a 10/10 for just doing the bare minimum. Do the work, and its worth every moment spent on it. Great class and a great dude. (Done over summer)

Professor is very enthusiastic and involved with his lectures, which makes it very easy to follow and hard to get bored. The class is lecture heavy but he keeps everyone involved and engaged. He also is very clear about what he expects from speeches but still allows for a lot of creative freedom. Overall: GREAT PROFESSOR!!!

Mr.Heisler is a great professor! Very interesting lectures and easy to follow along with notes which for this class are very important. There are only 4 speeches for the whole semester and a few tests. The tests are a bit tricky (trick questions) but there is no time limit and the grades are curved, he also gives a few extra credit opportunities.

Tim was a really great professor to have whether you're a comms major or not. Really easy going and fair grader to everyone. Mostly lecture based so it's good to be there to take notes + participate in group activities. Feedback on speeches were given in written hard copy and if you have any questions, he encourages his students communicate w/ him.

Mr. Tim was so nice and helpful. Ive been a student at Los Positas for 2.5 years and this was my favorite class. Lots of lectures, but a fun class. He's very helpful to talk to after class. I always found him very supportive. Great teacher. I wish he was teaching this spring, I would take his class again.

I took the Speech 1 and Speech 4 classes from him at the same time. There is a lot of overlap, so it made the classes easier. The tests ar super hard, but worth a small part of your grade. He seems to favor students who suck up to him.

Professor Heislers online class has a lot of assignments due every week. I drppped the class. His in person class had about one project due each month. It was a lot easier and I learned a lot.

I had never taken a communication class before and Professor Heisler was a godsend. He is one of the greatest story teller I've met. He gives the same vibe as Sebastian Maniscalco with the jokes that he tells in class. You never have to worry about your grade as long as your on top of your assignments! Its a public speaking class TAKE it in person!

i'm not even finished my course yet but professor heisler is making this super busy summer actually pretty awesome! i have a lot of homework to do, but tbf it is an accelerated summer course. he grades very timely and uses canvas really well and he's just 10/10 super awesome

Lots of assignments in the summer course, but he is super funny and very approachable. His feedback is really detailed and he offers extra credit for submitting speeches early and making a blooper reel (which I had so much fun making).

Tim is a great professor and this class was very easy. He has some specific requirements for the major speech assignments that's different than other public speaking courses but nothing too hard. Outrageous amount of rules and guidelines- quick to take off points if you barely meet the requirements. Super nice guy in general, easy to communicate with any questions. Gives LOTS of feedback that makes you feel bad about yourself. Quizzes are hard if you don't read material. Lots of assignments, discussions, and replies, but manageable.

Prof Heisler has his lectures down to a T. He makes clear expectations for presentations which you should definitely set aside time to prepare for. He is really kind and understanding. Thoroughly enjoyed all the stories he had.

Best professor ever! He truly cares about his students and always encourages them to do better. He gives lots of extra credit and even tries to give points when it's your mistake. He understands, supports, and motivates you. I'm thankful that he was my professor. I learned a lot. He's now on top of my best professor list forever!

I took Mr. Tim for an online class and in the classroom last year. There is a lot more work in the online class, 3-5 things to do each week, but it was very manageable. I liked his feedback and his very detalied instructions. I will take his class again if I can. In a heartbeat. There are no required school meetings in his online class.

Be ready for lectures and laughter. He is a great teacher. there are 3 speeches that make up the majority of your grade, so take them seriously and you'll be fine. I wish he didn't have such a strict attendance policy. He also has extra credit at the end of the semester. I would highly recommend him. This was the CMST 1 class.

extra credit is helpful and Tim offers it all semester long. More work than I expected, but it was easy. Lots of videos to watch and make. You have to find your own audeince for the speeches.

This was the second time I took Professor Heisler's class. His attendance policy is a bit strict, but cans of food help make up lost points. Very good lectures and very clear instructions. The online quizzes were hard, but they had no time limits. I would take him again, but hes not teaching classes i need next semester.

This is my first review on Rate My Professor. I had a wonderful experience with Mr. Tim. He is kind, helpful, and caring. I hung out with him every day after class for a few minutes and he was very kind and helpful with me as I tried to learn the class.

This class has a good Amt of work throughout th week and it feels like just work but it is helpful. 3 major speeches that are worth 40% of ur grade. Follow a rubric to a tee to get good grade such as professional attire, not reading from phone (use flash cards but minimal). He gives very good feedback for all things.

Half the class got an A, but you're not going to receive a 100% for any activity. Just be awares. Good feedback for an online instructor. One think I learned the hard way is that late is late. one minute past the deadline and you lose like 50 per cent. Corrects most work in a timely manner.

He provided a free textbook for his online class. Make sure that you turn in your work on time because theres a big penalty for late work. A lot of weekly work that makes up 15% of your overall grade, so that feels a little lopsided. He is very easy to talk to if you can make a zoom appointment

I don't have enough good things to say about Tim! He's by far my favorite teacher I've ever had and I looked forward to coming to his class each week. Very friendly, funny, and clearly loves what he does. He's a tough grader but is more than willing to help you and give you feedback on assignments. Go out of your way to take his class if you must!!

This was the most organized online class I've ever taken. There are things to do every single week and some weeks are much mofre busy than others. I liked how everytihng was spelled out by the teacher and Professor Hielser was very nice with his feedback and comments. Recommended!
