Tim's a Great guy, super easy to understand and an even easier marker. He actually went through the entire final with us the class before we took it and then took us out for beers afterwards! Amazing.

Tim is an amazing teacher. He goes on random fact tangents in class that are many times more helpful in explaining my other studies to me than the teachers that were paid to teach them to me. He is extremely bright and clear in his lesson plans. Be aware, attendance is important!

Tim is very intellegent and educated person. It is impossible not to listen to him during the class because u want to be able to understand what he is talking about. Additionally, Information Technology is the subject that takes extra strength and brains to understand. Tim is awesome!

Tim is an awesome teacher. He knows his stuff, and he makes all of this computer stuff that no one cares about seem important.

This is not an easy class. Tim makes it easy to get thru and you actually learn a lot along the way. Tim is a great guy. If you can get him for 141 consider yourself very lucky. There is so much information in this class but Tim will make sure you learn what you need to know.

I never miss one of his classes (which says a lot for me!). Smart guy who always has something interesting to share. Classes are 50% related to textbook,50% off on interesting tangents re: the business world. He loves teaching, it shows. Strongly recommend him. If you've worked in a big city, you'll find his 'I've had a big career' laughable.

Tim is clear, concise, and tells you exactly how to get a great mark within the first 2 days of the course. He made everything that he wanted very apparent! He was awesome, a great teacher, I would highly recommend him to any business students. Great job Tim!!

Tim is personable and likes to get to know his students. Sometimes he can be a bit vague with what he expects, especially for the class's end project. Be prepared to be engaged, to participate, and to use your spell and grammar checker. Over all a great teacher!

Entertaining lectures with a few tangents that are always pretty relevant. No final, and a pretty light homework load. follow instructions and you'll get a good mark on your homework. 2 quizzes are straight out of the textbook, and the other one he goes over how to do in class beforehand. As long as you go to class, Easy A and great instructor

I just found out I get another class with Tim! I took 130 with him 2 years ago and every term since I've tried to get into another class of his, but it just hasn't fit into my schedule. He's the kind of teacher you'll never forget. A tough marker, but he'll inspire you to work hard and you'll actually leave feeling like you've learned something.

I have taken three courses with Tim, my last being Marketing Research. Tim is hands down the best instructor at Camosun, if not my favorite ever. He even appologized to me infront of the class about a difference of opinion we had from previous week. Many teachers don't openly admit when they were wrong. Take a course with Tim!

Tim is a great guy with tons of real life experience. He's inspiring and intriguing as a teacher. All course content is laid out easily and Tim gives tons of time to work on group projecs. Tim is definitely an instructor that understands students are very busy outside school as well.

Definitely the guy to have for BUS 150. No midterm, no final. Yes, you have to do a few group projects and they are worth a lot, but there are also online quizzes which are worth 40% of your grade and are pretty easy. Pretty easy class and he's a good, relatable prof.

He was that prof you're going to remember for the rest of your life. Always kept things interesting and genuinely cared about his students. He was awesome!

Awesome instructor. The weekly quizzes can be difficult, suggest using online textbook so you can search key words. Expect group work. No exams.

Great teacher ! Very clear on his criteria for each assignment and he believes in not testing his students so no final or midterm which was great! I learned so much from him that I will need for business and everyday life. Looked forward to his class everyday ! Take any courses with Tim, you won't be disappointed !!!

Tim Kemp is a great teacher, organized, thought provoking, and an easy marker. He sets his material up to make maximum impact without the stress of pop quizzes, midterms and finals (BUS 150). He is highly intuitive and had a lot of knowledge in that shiny head of his. He gets off topic sometimes but show up to class, absolutely worth it.

If this course was taught by any other professor, I probably would have skipped half the semester. Not to mention this class was a night class, which are hard as is. Tim kept is interesting, fun, and he's hilarious. I think I only missed one class and it was for a valid reason. I recommend taking this easy & fun course for easy credits WITH Tim!

Tim is one of the best profs ive had here at Camosun. He is really passionate about what he teaches and his lectures are so dynamic and interesting. Never a dull moment! If you make the effort to show up to class and participate you'll do just fine. If you have the opportunity to take a class with him, do it! You won't regret it.

One of the best teacher I've had for sure. This is the second class I've had with Tim and he's awesome; very helpful, can get a good class discussion going, you learn worthwhile stuff and he's understanding when groups just don't work out for projects. Highly recommend taking at least one of his classes.

Theres some psychology involved, great topics and discussions, teaches a lot of techniques to use working in business and personal life, and you learn lots about yourself too.

Tim Kemp was a great instructor. I have be able to have him for 2 different courses and was very satisfied both times. He does expect you to out in effort but also cares about the grade you receive. His lectures are very interesting and include current event information and significant history. Definitely recommend him for bus 450.

Tim has specific criteria that he uses for grading, but provides the structure for it in detail and always provides a platform to clarify expectations. Very helpful to students that show interest and ask questions. Encourages conversation about current events and genuinely wants to educate and foster critical thinking for the real world

I attended Tims workplace professionalism class and he was hands down my best teacher!! Each class was thought provoking with many take- aways. Lectures often offered a different way of approaching a topic and there was no topic he shied away from. My favourite class in my program!!

Tim cares about his student's and their futures. How he has designed his courses makes students engaged and understand business principles regarding networking, emotional intelligence, and professionalism. The group presentations where the students teach the students, and in class discussion along with his wise advice is highly valuable.

Honestly this has been my favourite class at Camosun. The textbook was only used for quizzes, so the lectures were interesting and interactive. I put a lot of work into the class, but feel like I learned more than any of my other classes. 100 percent would recommend this class!

Interesting class, but I would recommend taking stats right before. Make sure you pick your groups carefully... they make or break your grade.

What can I say. Tim Kemp is the most dedicated, knowledged and most realistic teacher I've ever had the please of encountering. His boardroom sims really put a perspective on the real world presentation style. His lectures are interesting and fun (he doesn't do textbook lectures, got to do textbook reading on your own). Overall Great Teacher!

Amazing. Not a conventional instructor; doesn't show slides of the textbook. You use the text for weekly quizzes worth 5% each, and for group projects. Expects you to at least skim the weekly chapters. Shows you relevant events that you're going to have to deal with in the real world. If you love profs that review chapters, find another instructor.

I took BUS-285 (Workplace Professionalism) with Tim Kemp and was expecting a boring fluff course. Boy was I wrong! This has been my favorite class so far at Camosun because of Tim's teaching style. He finds ways to help you relate to the content and encourages discussion in every class. He makes class fun & he knows his stuff! Tim is wise, listen!

Tim gives clear directions on what you are expected of, and always responds quickly to any questions that need clarification. He cares about what he is teaching and actually makes the content interesting by showing you how to apply it to real life situations.

I am in my last year of school and Tim has been one of the best teachers I had. He is very knowledgeable and really cares about his students. In every class you will learn something new, what makes coming to class much more fun. If you have the chance to take a course with him , I would definitely recommend it!

The best prof I've ever had. I first had Tim for MARK 210. If you attend, participate and put some effort in you will get a good mark. I loved taking his class so much, I took both Bus 285 and Bus 450 with him the following semester. Participation in Bus 285 is a must, and Bus 450 requires quite a bit of time, but Tim is clear with expectations.

Tim is one of my favourite teachers. His classes are very enjoyable and everything you learn is relatable. If you can't be there for class or test time, he is understanding and will try his best to accommodate you so you don't miss out. He makes sure everyone understands the material. Tim is extremely passionate about teaching and his students.

I'm not surprised to see Tim's high rating. His teaching style made BUS 285 the most engaging of my 10 online courses. Tim is very approachable and shares his knowledge, insight, and experiences in relevant ways. His grading criteria is clear and fair. Do the readings (max 30 minutes a week), show up, and be ready to participate! Can't go wrong.

I absolutely hate camosun, but I actually look forward to this class. He's an amazing teacher and I wish all my classes were taught by him. Took 450 as an elective and was pleasantly surprised by the depth and quality of lectures and discussions. Weekly quizzes mean that you have study regularly but they are essentially free marks if you read the text. Tim is a great guy who cares about this course and his students, and he is genuinely willing to provide support outside of class hours.

Best professor I had in Camosun. Very knowledgeable and inspiring, really opened my mind. I learned more in this one class than in the past four years in school. Class focused on global issues, cultures, histories, and even some politics. Class discussion on global issues takes up a large amount of time, so be prepared to have something to share.

By far, this is the only professor I had who doesn't just read from the textbook or slides, and I loved it. Every lecture was inspiring. He talks about current global issues and engages students in discussion. I would recommend this professor to anyone who wants to learn beyond the textbook.

Tim is an absolute gem of an instructor! I always enjoyed coming to class. The class conversations were informative, engaging and interesting. One thing I will say, however, is I learned very little about international management. The course took more of a geopolitical/word events focus, but I still loved the content and would recommend it!

Tim's class was a highlight of my semester. The discussions were engaging and insightful. While the course focused more on global issues than international management, I found it fascinating. Definitely take this class - just be sure to do the readings and participate. Also, Unstuck study was a great study aid!

He doesn't reeeaally do rubrics; its more guidelines on what he wants instead of how he'll mark. Class was good overall, and in-class discussions get interesting. Be prepared to participate!
