Tim helps take the torture out of stats. He is clear, uses lots of examples and adds humour in his class. I'm glad I have him as my prof.

Imagine my surprise when I showed up for class and a big old man was teaching. Thats Tim. He is NOT hot. Lol. Some people....But he is a great prof and I recommend taking his class if you are one of those poor students trapped into stats.

Well, Tim, since you did this in class...You're funny and a GREAT stats prof (I did stats at my old school and the prof was soooo bad and BORING, but Tim's GREAT!!!) Do you think there's any way you could make the notes a bit more condensed so it won't take so much ink & paper?

I had Tim's class last year and I was dreading the stats class due to my lack of math ability, however, Tim was always very helpful and available if needed. If you do your weekly work in the class and go to seminar, you'll do great! His lectures were enjoyable because of his great sense of humour!

Tim is the most dedicated prof I have encountered. A week before a midterm, he stays at his office until 3AM to answer ppl's webCT questions. He is very approachable and jolly. I hope he realizes that we really appreciate it.

This professor was very helpful in many aspects, wasn't afraid to be available to students for help. He articulated his points in lectures very clearly and made things interesting. The exams were a bit tricky in that questions were tricky, but otherwise a pleasant and helpful professor. Cute:)

Tim is a great guy. If you ever cross paths with him i've found he's always willing to help out whenever he can. The course is boring at first (it took 4-5 3 hr lectures to get to the concept of an 'average' - at this age, really??). It gets better, though. Be careful on tests - they are open book, but there are many challenging curve-balls.

Tim is an excellent teacher. Really funny guy and although I hated the course I always looked forward to coming to his class. He's such a cool prof that for one of the lectures he even came onto this website to read his comments to the class. That was fun. Peanut butter jelly time!

When the next apocalypse arrives, this is the man that needs to repopulate the earth. The class isn't hard; just do the practice exams like crazy. Super helpful prof... TA's will be your best friend. Buy him donuts and coffee. Overall, amazing person, even better prof, and absolutely hilarious. And sit up front.. he'll pick on you. :D

I honestly do not understand how he has the patience that he does to teach us about stats! He's very good at explaining it in a way you'll understand wihtout making you feel stupid. Also, he is hilarious.

This class is NOT that bad, in fact it became one of my favorites. Just read the text, go to lecture & seminar, do the homework, use the practice tests he posts and you will do fine. Tim keeps the lecture pretty light and casual for a big class. He is available for help and he is FUNNY. Get to lecture early or you will miss the pictures ;-)

Tim is one of the professors who had the biggest impact on me. He is an excellent professor, both in his ability to teach what can be considered a difficult subject (statistics), and in his approach to interacting with students on a personal yet professional level. Best prof ever. So helpful to students that seek it. Clear on what is expected of his students to pass. It was a challenge to learn some of the material but he walked through many examples in class and gives pointers on how to make things easier. Hello from the back row about three seats in. An absolutely amazing teacher from the very first day such a fantastic experience! Gave out his personal number (meow ;)) to help us all out, always available. Woooo! Tim is the hottest prof. at Brock as of yet :) Definitely my favourite class and if you have taken MATH 1P98, you shouldn't expect much that is new. Amazing prof... Literally gives you his cell phone number to text him if you have any emergencies, even if it is the night before the midterm... Material taught well and is super helpful if you don't understand something... class is relatively easy as well

He gives very clear expectations, he spells everything out as easily as possible, he has plenty of office hours (plus is accessible by text) and will take all the time you need to get a concept. If you want to pass, Tim wants to help you!

I'm currently taking second year stats with him. He is an absolute gem of a prof. He makes stats enjoyable and is always willing to help you outside of class by making sure you understand the material. He has a good attitude and his dog is the cutest thing ever.

I swear to god he is the only prof at this school that cares about you as a person. Having difficulty with the content? He's there to help you. As well as the TAs for the course. As difficult as this course was, and the unlikelihood that I'll ever take it again, I would love to have him as a prof again. He doesn't treat you like a number.

very kind guy! he tries to make it as simple as possible. very helpful when you don't understand things. he also tries to make his lecture notes as close to the textbook as possible so then if you get confused by him you can use the textbook and vice versa. keep up with weekly homework, it makes a difference.

If youre taking PSYC 2F23 and you havent met Tims pupper youre really missing out. Its so much easier to learn math when theres a playful, obedient doggo looking for attention. &#55357;&#56877; Whether his dog is there or not though, TAKE ADVANTAGE OF HIS OFFICE HOURS THIS CLASS ISN'T EASY FOR MOST PEOPLE.

Tim takes one of the hardest subjects psych students encounter during their degree (statistics) and makes it easy for even the person with minimal math background to understand. He treats you like a person and not a number, and is just an all around great prof. Tim, I hope you get the chance to real all these great reviews!

Okay so I have to say that Tim is probably one of the most understating and forthcoming professors at Brock. He’s always happy to help his students and even thigh the course is hard he works with the students to help them. He carefully makes practice questions and study resources to help facilitate learning. He’s awesome!

Tim is the only professor to genuinely care for his students. He wants to make sure that his students understand course material. Although the course material was difficult because I am not strong in math, Tim tries to make sure it easier. He also puts the safety of the student over any midterms or exams, which you don't see with other profs

Took his course a few years ago, but he was an incredible instructor! Probably one of my favourite math courses of all time. He made everything so easy to understand and gave great lectures. Definitely recommend!
