Never take this Professor online...He is not helpful with any of his students
very helpful instructor, recomend him to every student who needs to take accounting.

He wasn't too bad online, but the material was from another teacher's course and outdated, so maybe he was filling in. Slow response to students e-mail kept us guessing what was going on.
Best teacher ever. He is funny and makes learning fun. I recommend him to anyone.
This guy actually cares about what I learn from Accounting! I took him online and I must say that it was one of the better decisions I've ever made. I learned so much from this class, more than I ever imagined since it was an online course.
Decent class, not to overwhelming. Got tired of writing the discussion questions at the end, but this is college. And it can wear on your nerves. Price is much better at this class than his other financial class. Would recommend him for this class, even online.
Online class was very easy but DO NOT turn in an assignment late. Due dates on assignments are not very clear and it took me from an "A" to a "B". Otherwise no complaints but no accolades either.

Answers to questions are one liners that don't really give help & delay of 48hrs is a killer. The quiz links are not always working & there are no leacture notes - Its all about read the book & hope that you get it. Otherwise easy tests, most are word problems, so you better get it or you are lost.

I took this class online, and found him to be very unhelpful. He expects you to understand everything by reading the book, isn't clear on what you need to study for the test, and refuses to give extra credit even in the case of an emergency. I have heard he is good in class, but he is horrible online.
This class is easy as long as you read the chapter and post weekly discussion postings. He could be a little more helpful and, as much as I hate to say it, make the work a little more challenging.

I found some of the instruction questionable, & when I emailed for clarification, the answer was so brief that it only confused me more. I made my way through & from previous comments, he does seem to be improving. Despite my small inconveniences, I will most likely take the 2nd class with him just because online lets me do the work on my schedule.
This class was ridiculously easy online. You basically have to do nothing and get an A. Personally, because I was interested in the topic I think I would rather have taken the subject in class, but if your looking for an easy A this class is for you!
I took this class online, and found it challenging. The curriculum found online such as the slide shows and practice exams did not correspond with the updated form of the textbook which effected exam questions. When I had a question I often got one word answers or even “figure it out yourself”. I would discourage anyone from taking this class.
This was a very easy class. The only real hard part was the homework and he doesn't even care if your answers are right or wrong as long as you do it you'll get an A!

First accounting class in college. He is a good teacher. VERY enthusiastic about accounting which is a plus. You have to read and really try to learn as much as you can about the subject. Did ok in the class. (Not my usual A though) If you are not a good test taker, dont take because that is mainly what makes up your grade, besides homework.
Not helpful- does not respond in timely manner to emails. Tests can be difficult bcs. there's no feedback as far as if your homework or discussion postings are correct.

Internet class is the way to go! All you have to do is turn in the assignment and discussion questions each week & you'll automatically get a 100% each time. Answers don't even have to be right. But you will have to study for the 4 exams, but they aren't too bad. Open book, open note, all taken online. Easiest A ever. Also took him for Fin Acct. :)
The internet course is ROUGH. Basically you teach yourself, I'm retaking this class but NOT on the net.
Took the course online and am taking another course with him. The class was not too difficult. 40% of you grade is a 100% as long as you turn in the work and post discussions. Tests are okay but you definitely have to study hard for them.
early in the morning but worth it you never leave there tired he keeps the energy up. give him answers like "im all over it" and "of corse i know the answer" he loves that. big on football. awesome teacher i will take him for man. in the spring.
This is my 2nd semester w/ Price. He is a horrible teacher. HW graded based on doing it, not on right/wrong, which was cool. Downside: students are left to guess which chapters are covered on exams as he doesn't respond to emails & if he does he does not give a straight out answer. I got a B+ in each course, so don't think I am just a mad student.
Terrible online teacher. My brother took the class in person and said he was great there. Basically he was NEVER in class and didn't respond to emails. The class was a joke. It was just read the book and try to do assignments and answer message board. I should have dropped the class.I feel like I learned nothing
post discussion questions and do homework....was the easy part. 3 Exams.....Print out practice questions..helps partially but if strong on others you should get at least a "B"

Not a good teacher online! Tests are on chapters not yet covered. They're open book but can take hours if you have to look up answers you haven't even learned yet! He's not helpful on answering questions and takes a long time to respond.
Horrible teacher online. Does not communicate with students. If you're lucky enough to get an answer, it will most likely be vague and not completely answer the question asked. Homework and discussion questions are thought provoking, but are graded on participation, NOT whether answers are right or wrong. Too bad, I was excited about this class.
This class (MicroEconomics) is easy in that you have very easy assignments and discussion postings each week online, but the tests are horrible. The questions (and his emails too) are ambiguous, and most of the questions on each exam do not even cover the material he tells you to study. It's really bad. He couldn't even spell Nasdaq correctly. Bad.
Horrible teacher. Would not communicate on any note even regarding help on the class, your grade, or even questions on textbook for next semester. He posted grades without an audit on them and I have no idea how he got a C for me. I turned in all discussion posts, homework, and took 4 exams. I only got a Mid C on one exam and 100's on homework.
Mr. Price's economics class is the easiest class i've ever taken online. I took both Micro and Macro and recieved a "B"...I figured out in Micro that you dont really have to do alot of work to pass, just do the assignments and read the chapters (i didnt though), so second time around, I didn't study at all and bombed 2 tests...still got a "B".
Took Mr.Price over the summer for Financial Accounting and passed with an A. Very funny guy and made this class interesting. You really have to pay attention though because he teaches this class like you already have some accounting experience. Just read the book and don't be afraid to ask any questions. I would highly recommend this teacher again!
Don't take online. Class is principles of Finance but goes right into advanced material assuming you have prior knowledge. Had to drop even though I am a quick study. Since he is the only teacher who does this class, I think I will trade for Financial Accounting with another teacher.
Good teacher. Took this class online. Turn in the homework on time and make it neat and organized, you get 100 (doesn't even matter if the answers are wrong...he doesn't tell you anyway). Test are open book, not timed. Since it was online, you just have to figure the material out yourself. He doesn't answer many questions.
i took his class online (Macroeconomics). Only 3 test, as long as you have a generall understanding on the chapters included in the test you will be fine. about 10/40 of the test questions are pulled directly from the practice test. Easy A, do work and review the chapters. Everything you need to know is in the syllabus.
Microeconomics online: Weekly assignment from the textbook and discussion questions. Three tests. He posts everything at once, with no due dates. Undetailed syllabus, late responding to emails, not complete responses. HW not graded on accuracy. Easy if you are self sufficient.
Absolutely do not take this class if you have not had accounting. Class does not have prereq., but coursework assumes you know accounting. Work is VERY hard, professor does not help. He suggested I drop out & take accounting. VERY unfair. I dropped and got my money BACK--and no trace of this class on my transcript. DO NOT TAKE!!
If you're looking for an easy A, this is it. However, his questions on exams are not clear and have multiple correct answers in the choices. He also disables the email option so you have no way to email him but through the message boards and through submissions of assignments. He gives you email address & phone number but doesn't answer either.

I took Macroeconomics with Price online. There is a practice quiz(not for points), a discussion and homework problems each week. Read the book and be familiar with it for your 3 major exams. A lot of assignments are graded for participation and not for accuracy. He responds to emails pretty sufficient and my class was work at your own pace.
TIM PRICE'S ONLINE CLASS WAS PRETTY "INTERESTING". WHAT I MEAN BY THIS IS THAT ON THE SECOND AND THIRD TEST HE HAD STUFF THAT WE DID "NOT COVER! HE HAS WEEKLY POSTINGS(EASY), AND EXERCIES QUESTIONS(EASY). ALL HE WANTS TO SEE U DO IS COMPLETE ALL OF YOUR ASSIGNMENTS AND PLACE FOR EFFORT. AND WHEN U ASK QUESTIONS HE KIND OF BEATS AROUND THE BUSH!
Dr. Price is an excellent teacher. I took the class online, but his directions are clear, & he is very quick to answer emails. The tests are often on things that haven't been covered yet, but if you search ahead in the text you'll be fine. Work is graded on completion, not accuracy. I plan on taking him for macro, micro, & managerial accounting.

I took his class online and it was pretty easy. Pretty much you read each chapter and answer the questions at the end of each chapter. There are weekly quizes that are not graded no big deal but there are about 4 tests and some are on terms never taught in the book so it can get frustrating! He does answer your questions fast and he gives a lot of
Online summer term-Easy & good paced(& I had 3 other HARD courses w/it) Weekly discuss.(he's actively involved)& avg 6-7 ?'s from end of chpt review..easy..doesn't grade so much on correctness, just completeness, answers found thru-out chpt though. Summer term only had 3 'exams' w/plenty of time 2 complete. He responds quickly 2 email. Great class!
I'm going to make some suggestions. I believe the professor should improve the clarity of the online class, the test questions should be checked for errors and typos prior to test day, and the chapters covered on each test should be clearly communicated to the students. Using terminology such as "due at midnight" can very easily be misinterpreted.
The teacher is no help when you need it. You ask him for help and he sends you the answers without explanation. The homework isn't graded on accuracy so you're not prepared for the test. He randomly picks your homework grade without explanation for the adverse ones. He doesn't respond to emails timely and is often limited in feedback.
I took him for both macro and micro, excellent teacher. Really nice and sarcastic in a good way. Go to class listen to lectures. Has 8 tests that are straight forward. Take him!
I came out of this class knowing very little about economics. He is a very smart guy and knows just about everything one could possibly know about economics and shares his inset with the class. There are 8 test throughout the semester one every two weeks. He tells you exactly what will eon the test and it's just a matter of memorization. Funny dude
Took online during this Fall Semester, Basically each week you do the exercises that are at the end of each chapter and a couple discussion questions which are due sunday at midnight and there are 3 exams which are no cake wake but if your good with google and multitasking on the clock you will ace them. Awesome class online, prof is helpful and grades fair. Do the reading and work you should get an A. Not much supplemental - text book reading, exercises at the end and a couple discussion questions. Took over summer so it was brief. Would have liked to take during fall or spring .
Took online for summer semester. 2 exams, which are difficult and worth 60% of your grade, but you get 3 hours to do it. Weekly discussions, and exercises at end of each chapter. He's a good professor. Take him! I got an A.
Not as easy as everyone says. Took online, class average on the first test was 28%, not enough time to get the test done.
Poor quality.Imagine yourself buying a book, which subject you have no idea, and studying alone, with no help from a teacher. I don't know what to do to avoid choosing other teachers like him. From the comments here I think we are talking about a different teacher.
I took him for accounting and he is an awesome teacher He is very helpful and his quizzes are based off his homework which he gives the solutions for.. If you study your homework you pretty much pass his quizzes. Would def take him again for any other accounting classes I need.
Easy teacher! Doesn't help much but assignments graded based on if you completed it, not if answers are actually correct. Discussion are a breeze. 2 exams aren't super easy but if you read the book you'll do fine. Dont take if you want a ton of teacher interaction...you are basically on your own with this class. I ended with 100%

Terrible! Do not take him online! No direction at all! The direction you do get is approx. 3 paragraphs in the syllabus & can change on a whim (assignment due dates, etc). Each week you read the chapter, complete the review questions & create a discussion post. The review questions always ask for difficult graphs. You better be excellent in Excel!
Class in general is easy, If you read the book and take time to do the homework. He is rude and sarcastic, even in emails. Make sure you are excellent in excel because you will get a ZERO if you do not show (work) graphs, and the graphs aren't easy!
This professor is NOT at all helpful. He won't even answer a simple question like, "What chapters does our test cover." He provides no links, and you are basically on your own in trying to figure everything out. Assignments are a completion grade, and believe me they WILL save your grade.
Tim Price is one of the least effective online professors. There is nothing done by him that adds to the class. I learned some macroeconomics only because I was interested in doing so. Not sure why Price is a professor due to his obvious lack of enthusiasm towards teaching. Got an A, but got nothing out of the class.
this class is solely "self study". this teacher will not help or response to your email. Grade is based on 3 TESTS. discussion & homework are grade based on completion. Tests are hard, so you will need to be efficient in self study. This class is not easy "A", need to be good in self study. He will not accept late work, so remember all due dates.
Class was easy enough. However, prof wanted all work shown in homework and assignments, which wasn't stated in syllabus and was very condescending about it when asked. I've never had a prof NOT tell you when they wanted to see your work. Two tests - midterm and final plus discussions/homework.
Where do I start. Not an effective teacher. Be prepared to teach yourself. He responds to you with one or two word answers. FYI, he changes the sybullus, keep an eye out. Did not post all grades. Wow these reviews! I took him for Macro online, and man was it easy. The homework assignments were a breeze, simply look at the book. They were all there. You must show your work for math problems, but that's fine. You can turn things in late if you ask. The exams were a little challenging. He gives prac. quizzes where the exam ques. come from!100%

Price is the kind of teacher to not teach. If you have questions, he will do everything he can to help you. He's a very kind person and will do anything to help a student pass. All work is in MyAccountingLab and some discussion posts in Angel. Attendance isn't mandatory but it will help your grade later on. I definitely recommend!
Took Dr. Price for financial accounting. Class is more like a blended class since all of the course work is done in MyAccountingLab. Attendance isn't required but gets you a lot of brownie points. Work load is considerable but reasonable considering the subject. Drops the lowest quiztest and HW scores. Works with people on deadlines. Funny guy!
I took the class online for credit towards my degree. Most of the work is in MyLabs, he gives you plenty of time to do the assignments and tests and discussion posts. Drops the lowest grade of test and assignment and helps with misunderstandings on tests. I would take him again!
Really great teacher, I have had him for a couple classes. For both classes I took online he allowed us to turn in late work. He is really good about giving office hours and is always helpful. Answers e-mails within 24 hours usually.
Really helpful guy! Super funny and loud. Really accomplished professor. He doesn't treat his students like idiots which is a nice change. All work is completed in pearson lab we-book with occasional lecture in class. Works with students and gives kudos for attending class but it's not required. Offers extra credit & 2nd chances.
The workload is fair and consistent. The material can be stressful. The teacher keeps you up to date on due dates and other reminders. Very helpful if needed both through email and by phone.
This class had a lot of work!! But he gives fair grading and enough time to complete each module. However, it did take a him a little while to respond back to emails at times. I recommend him!
Mr. Price is a great instructor. He is fair and honest with his grades and work. While you may have to wait for a response, he encourages an open door policy. This was a tough class to complete online, but I learned so much. I would highly recommend Mr. Price. He is well liked and his material is rewarding.
Great teacher. Responds quickly to emails. Work load is heavy. Fair grader. As long as you do discussion post you will get 100% regardless of accuracy. Gives a final exam review with chance to earn extra 10 points towards final exam. Took him for both managerial & financial accounting, no complaints.
the outline of the class wasn't complicated. It was straight forward and to the point. consisted of homework, quizzes and discussions one of each for each week completed. 4 exams throughout the class and no final. This class was taken over the Summer semester
Class is clearly laid out in the syllabus. 3 discussion posts, a homework, & a test due every other Monday. Teacher does not teach a single thing but is very nice. You show up to class, he takes attendance & then you can usually leave after. You have to be self sufficient to pass this class, If you have questions he tells you to read the chapter.

The class itself was fun. The text book was very helpful which was a change. Normally, the textbooks are useless but this helped me pass. As for the teacher he doesn't help you. Even if you ask a question he will give you the answer but not explain how he got the answer. I must say I wrote him maybe twice and the textbook was the real proffesor
Total independent study, no help or positive feedback. He responds to you with one or two word answers. He wanted all work shown in homework and assignments, which wasn't stated in instructions and was very condescending about it when asked. Requested a re-do and was refused. Midterm had incomplete questions but ignored request to fix in system.
The worst online professor I've ever had! Doesn't bother to respond to emails, doesn't offer any help or input. The worst part is that he doesn't even know his own due dates and gives out F's for assignments that aren't even technically due yet. Essentially a self taught class, he offers no help at all. I completely regretting taking his class.

Homework and tests every week on myaccountinglab. The class was overall very easy, as long as you read and complete the handouts he provides you in class you will pass the class.
Everything was done through MyLab. As long as you have that with the e-text you should be fine. As for the professor, prepare for incessant reminders of deadlines, even though he modifies when discussions are due compared to what's written in the course without mentioning otherwise. Also don't expect more than a few words from him in a reply.
I self taught myself financial accounting. We met twice a week, and he gave us useless vocabulary one day, and the next we go over useful problems that are relevant. Every week we did this. Vocab, then problem. Homework can be done in class and finished up at home, and tests are at home. Material can be challenging, and I hope you're dedicated.
Just do your homework on time, and study for the quizzes (all online) and you'll be fine. Price was one of the funniest people I have ever met and he truly does care about everyone even though he's always yelling. Work on hw before class and ask questions and he will tell you how they got the answer. accounting can be difficult but you can get an A

Smart guy, as long as you do you homework you can easily get an A, Everything that is graded is done online so its not challenging. Just a lot of stuff to do.
Mr. Price was amazing. I have no complaints. I think you need to be self sufficient in his class. If you need your hand held and be coddled this is simply not the professor for you. I would 110% take his class again.
Did not read a single lecture and completed all the homeworks by looking them up online. Quizzes are just like homeworks and very easy to pass. Just be prepared for about 2 hours worth of homework for each chapter and maybe an hour for the tests. Easy class to pass if you do the work, just tedious.
Dr. Price is a great professor and he's a fair grader. There were 2 things I didn't like about the online class. 14 modules in the grade book but we only cover 9 of them which is fine but you have a zero for everything until you do that module. Also, his tests are hand-typed so there are a lot of typos making it hard to answer some questions.
This is a good class if you prefer to be self taught. Participation is only 10% of the blended express class. Don't expect to get much of a word in when you do go to class because he WILL talk over you. Emailing him for help is useless because his responses don't help or guide. But the grading system is very cut and dry. Lowest grade dropped.
This professor was very unorganized, in the syllabus has different modules and in the emails he says different things. he is very confusing, even when you email him he doesn't know who are you or what you are saying because he doesn't pay attention. He does not put the grades on time but does expect for the students to do their homework on time.
Prof. P class was easy, in a good way. There is work to do, but it was mostly disc. posts and answering questions at the end of chapters. He does not deviate. It is not over bearing at all. I had family emergency come up and he did all work with me. He extended a deadline for me (ended up not needing it),he will not extend that for weak reasons.
Lots of homework, but he explains everything very well. As long if you pay attention and actually understand the assignments as you learn them, class will not be too hard. I thought I was going to get a C but ended up getting an A!
If you do the reading and the homework the tests are fairly easy. Final was not bad 35 questions and the majority of them were multiple choice. Teacher does seem to have a bit of an issue with dates, so follow the syllabus it's your best friend.
Be prepared, the content in this course is very difficult and requires hours of studying. Most work is done through my lab. He provides some homework answer videos and extra credit for test. When I reached out to him regarding tutoring, he did not provide me with any information. I wish he was more helpful.
Professor Price sets all students up to pass. The homework is repetitive but does make you retain the information. He gets straight to the point with explaining questions and makes lectures fun. All you have to do is just do the work. If you fail this class that is all on you.
Professor Price's teaching style is frustrating. He responds to detailed emails with just a few words, making it hard to get help. His course is poorly structured, leaving students to figure things out on their own. The school should review his performance. If you're considering his online class, be ready to spend a lot of time studying on your own
He was great super funny and likes students who are proactive and work hard in his class. His lectures are great and he does a good job of making sure people understand the material.
This class can be challenging, but with the right approach, you can succeed. The professor explains concepts well, but you'll need to be self-sufficient. Unstuck study can be a helpful study tool alongside the textbook and assignments.
The professor is not easy to get ahold of. Does not respond quickly to emails (takes 4+ days after a reminder email) and for an online course that's not good. Lots of reading and homework. DSM, HW and then a test plus every other week there is a class discussion. He does drop 2 tests and 2 homeworks and there is extra credit if needed w final.
Highly recommend summer semester online. Weekly chapter exams, no midterm, 1 final. Everything done on Pearson. Sets you up to pass. I am horrible at math but this was easier. Gives extra credit for final. Weekly discussion posts, easy grader.
