He might be one of the worst teachers I have ever had. He is at least 10 min late every day. He doesn't try to make the stuff interesting; he just writes and writes on the black board for a solid hour. You're asking for your own death if u take this class
He is the worst professor you can imagine. You will not learn math if you take him. Very confusing and disorganized in class.

The worst professor on the face of the earth. He is unorganized, boring, unprepared, unethical, and an overall horrific professor. He is always late for class and sometimes will talk on his cell phone for the remainder of the time. I hope you never have to meet him or have him for a class.
Who gave this guy a smiley face??? I do not recommend him at all. He can't teach.
Easy going, and clear math teacher. Just go to class everyday and as many SI sessions as you can and you'll be more than prepared for his usually easy quizes and tests.
An overall good guy and a decent teacher. If you go to SI and attend class passing is not a problem. A good sense of humor and gives a lot of partial credit.
he's not a nice guy and he can't teach
not an easy class, but he's a really nice guy. gives a lot of partial credit on tests. would recommend going to SI. tells off-the-wall stories.
all i have to say is...yuck, yuck, yuck. learned nada...bored to death...run!
Very helpful and an excellent teacher!!
Tells boring stories and thinks he's cool. He needs to try teaching. Very confusing, bad teaching style.
He seems like a nice guy, just very very boring. The class is difficult if you dont go, but can still manage a decent grade as long as you study. Not bad, and at least you can understand him.
Dr. Teitloff took some time getting used to, but once I did, he was an amazing teacher. On behalf of the Math Ed Majors at AC class of 2005, we loved him! Even in Adv. Cal., Dr. Teitloff did what it took to get us there. I cannot believe that ther are people who would speak against him.
IF YOU WANT TO FAIL STATS DO NOT TAKE him.****tiest teacher i've ever had for math. You can tell he dosent care about business majors at all. Extremely boring and impossible to understand unless you enjoy doing math on the weekends for fun. Do not take teitloff....you may start contemplating suicide.
This is the worst math teacher I've ever had in my life. He sucks. He is extremely boring and can't teach for **it. Please do no take him.
He doesnt really explain everything and leaves a lot of the material up to you to figure out.
He is the worst teacher ever. the only notes he uses comes straight from the book with no explanation. he sucks! he has horrible mood swings. one minute he's willing to help, the next he's not. if you haven't taking calculus already, you're up a bad alley. I'll pray for you. avoid him at all costs.
HE DOESNT TEACH! he is on the phone or outside during class after he gives his BORING lectures, (not explaining anything) he changed the syllabus every week, added quizzes near the end of the semester, had us download a program we didn't use, etc. I love math and have never had trouble in a class, but he killed it for me!
Horrible teacher. One of the worst I've had. Please do not take him, especially if you do not have a very strong background in Calculus. I took it in high school and got an A, but came to college and got a D. Very unhelpful and will take no pity.
AVOID AT ALL COST! INTOLERABLE METHOD OF TEACHING!! NEVER ADMITS TO HIS ERRORS!! I FELT LIKE HE WAS GOING TO ATTACK SOMEONE AT ANY MOMENT DURING CLASS BECAUSE HE HAS A CERTAIN CRAZY MAD EYE WHEN EXCITED OR PISSED... I CAN NEVER TELL, PLUS HE IS JUST PLAIN AND BORING WHEN IT COMES TO TEACHING!!
I think he's a fun math teacher, but he does make a lot of silly mistakes with signs and such. He's willing to take the time to explain what you don't get, too, so he's very helpful. He's a little loopy sometimes though, so be warned. A goofy kind of crazy.
Very Bad.
Very bad teaching style. He's not clear, has very round about ways of explaining things, and is perpetually late/making mistakes. Our class is always behind other sections. I would NOT reccomend taking him.
He is one of the worst professors i have ever had. The only notes that he gives are those from the blue boxes in the book and he can't even explain them. If you ask him a question he usually doesn't know the answer or can't explain it to you in a way in which you can understand him. Avoid him if possible.
one of the worst teachers i have ever had. he just write on the board what he reads in the book. he doen't know how to do the problems and can't explain anything. dont take him!
Put's the absolute minimum effort into teaching an extremely hard class. Always late and his learning activities don't help you at all.
The absolute worst teacher you could ever have for Mthsc 108. Avoid at all costs. He is a straight prick, he won't listen to you, he won't help you. So egotistical! He teaches bare minimum of the concepts. Going from studying his notes to the test will rock your world. you have to teach yourself. And he will miss more classes than you will.
If I had a dollar for everytime he put a problem on the board then stepped back and realized he didn't know what to do next, I wouldn't be eating at Schilletter every meal.
His teaching won't help you at all. You'll have to rely completely on the text book. He doesn't ever take attendance so you really only need to show up for exam days. One perk is that he does allow a cheat sheet for every exam - you'll need it!
He can't teach at all and often makes mistakes in his own examples or forgets what he's doing halfway through the problem. Although, if you ask him for help, he'll respond to emails promptly and is always willing to help you out after class. Don't take him unless you're really willing to teach yourself.
Absolutely the worst teacher for Calc II. I never took calculus in High School, so this was absolute torture. Everyone teaches themselves. I went to other teacher's classes when I could find time. Personality aside (he comes off as an uncaring jerk in class, nice to talk out of class), he is THE worst choice for a teacher at Clemson. It sicken
Not a good professor. He will teach things in THE most complicated way. Just study the tests from previous semesters that he gives you and you will do fine. He is always at least 8 minutes late for class and will hold you over those minutes at the end. He is very frustrating as a teacher.
This guy may know the material, and I dont think he's great at transferring ideas from his brain to his mouth but hes not awful. He's very immature and also strange and I have no respect for him, He can be VERY disrespectful at times and I wish i had read this site before i had him.
Dr. Teitloff knows his stuff, but he can't teach. I had calc II in high school and I was even confused during class. He's a really nice guy though. Just do the learning activities and study on your own time.
I liked him. You definitely have to study on your own a lot but his lectures aren't bad and the Learning activities are a grade booster. Do your homework and LA. Pay Attention in class and you'll do fine. The material is hard but Dr. Teitloff is actually better than most of the other 108 teachers.
Dr. Teitloff is useless. He is so rude and doesn't explain enough examples. i've talked to other people in this class that aren't taking him and they all have A's, whereas I am struggling to pass. I am an SI for other math courses and this is ridiculous. Missed one class and he wouldn't let me make up a quiz nor the HW. DO NOT TAKE HIM.
He is the absolute WORST teacher that I have EVER had in my entire life. He takes off points for getting things RIGHT. He cannot teach at all. DO NOT TAKE HIM!!! He is a jerk. He has NO IDEA what he is talking about ever. How he ever got a PhD in math is beyond my comprehension.
He is a very good teacher and is pretty funny. he has a ton of good stories to tell and is a very laid back guy. I would recommend him highly. He helps out more than any other professor I've ever had when there is a test u[coming with 1 or 2 review days and sending out a list of skills and exercises to prepare for the test.
His classes are pretty useless. The only way I ever learn anything is by the webassign homework. He's unorganized and has never been to class on time-he's usually 5 minutes late, but he has been 14 minutes late a few times (when we are supposed to leave after 15). Even when he was 15 minutes late and people had left the class, he still taught.
TERRIBLE teacher. He is always late. He teaches math through definitions. Probably the worst math teacher I have ever had...and I've had some pretty bad ones.
Despite what others have said on here, I would recommend him. Yea he does teach alot through definitions, but he really does know his stuff. i'd go as far as to call him a math genius. and if you don't understand the material, he is glad to help you. Also, he is really laid back. he's the flannel shirt and jeans kind of guy.
Terrible teacher, you will need to learn the stuff on your own
I found him to be a very helpful teacher. He includes plenty of extra credit on the tests and if you take notes, pay attention, and do your homework it would be hard to make a bad grade.
I had to retake math 108 this summer because I failed in the spring. Dr. Teitloff is the best math teacher I have had in years. He does tons of examples and explains when you have questions. He always goes to his office hours, and it seems he WANTS students to excel. I am taking his 206 class in the fall.
I took 106 in the summer with Teitloff. I was worried because of the reviews on here and it was a summer class, but Dr. Teitloff turned out to not be so bad. I really enjoyed him and his class was a lot of fun. He does teach through definitions, but he does examples as well. I learned most from the learning activites.
Very clear does lots of examples. Very laid back and available to ask questions. Wants his students to do well and has a clear love for math. Genius at math
Really nice! I struggled with this material, but he was always willing to help. He is very knowledgeable, but does make mistakes semi-often, which can be confusing. He really wants his students to understand the material and to pass. Definite recommend.
I thought he was a fabulous teacher, as long as you show up to class and take the notes, you will do fine. He does a great job at making sure you know the material and will open up any office hours to make sure that you get the grade you deserve. Again, show up you'll be fine.
Take this professor! One of the best that you can get. He does not assign that much homework compared to some of the other professors that load it on you. His exams are fair and he grades fair. He usually post practice exams that are very similar to the real ones. Very helpful outside of class if you need him. Also very laid back and chill.
Dr. Teitloff is a really cool, laid-back guy, who really wants to help your grade out. You can exempt the exam if you have a 90 average on your tests. He doesn't assign that much homework, and his exams are pretty easy. I would definitely take him for 208 if math is not your strong point.
Super chill southern dude, makes class as easy and enjoyable as possible. Not much HW and tests aren't bad. Just show up
Very laid back. If you're good at math and pay attention during class you can get an A. His practice tests are very similar to his tests so they are a huge help. Also, you can exempt the final if you have an A
Very good teacher. Makes matierial easy to understand. Cracks jokes. Cancels Class on big football games and before big holidays. He isnt too much help outside of the classroom but is willing to help you and gude you though the matierial.
Although I've attended nearly every class, I feel as though class attendance doesn't make much of a difference. If you can teach yourself through homework and a textbook, I recommend Teitloff because the exams aren't too horrible. If you need a professor who is organized with typed notes and clear communication, avoid at all costs.
Absolutely terrible teacher. He shows up late, shows a few equations on the board that nobody understands and then ends class early. He assigns homework, but NEVER grades it so how do you know if what you're doing is right or not? He then CHANGED the syllabus the week before finals to INCLUDE homework and a "project" which no one had any idea about
He is very confusing and often goes off on tangents. Which can be funny but relatively annoying. Seems to not know what he's doing. Makes math mistakes at least once a class period and throws temper tantrums if he makes too many and is corrected. Forgets about tests and got mad and walked out of class once the day before a test.
Avoid this man at all costs. Although his tests are easy, he frequently makes simple mistakes in class and tends to get irritated if you attempt to correct his errors. He is consistently late to class and has anger management issues.
absolutely my favorite teacher at Clemson! He keeps it #real and his life is full of crazy stories and he gets pretty #ratchet. The tests were super easy and he was very entertaining. Hopefully you are lucky enough to have him start the class off by singing an old country song.
Makes the math clear, great humor, very laid back, isn't pushy, relevant homework.
Only sign up for Teitloff if you are good at math. If you have passed Calc 1 and 2 with flying colors, this is the teacher you want. He moves quickly, takes a laid back approach and doesn't drill the information into you. 4 tests on the semester with an option to exempt the final. If I wasn't good at math, I don't know where I would be though.
Teitloff frequently makes errors during class. He can be very laid back, but he isn't very understanding usually. He once took off 3 points on a 10 point quiz just because I drew my z wrong according to him. He said that I had to put a slash through the middle when I asked him about it and he said he emphasized it in class, but he never did. Avoid
He is a very friendly and overall good professor. He is very available through email and office hours to answer questions. He usually explains topics well, but often makes mistakes on the board. He is late to class often. He always cancels class before breaks.
Dr. Teitloff is very laid back, likes to tell stories during class, is 10 minutes late to class after the first couple weeks, and cancels class before breaks. He will most likely show you a theorem and tell you "Well, that's about it" and move on. However, he is very helpful outside of class and answers emails quickly. No written homework.
The man is faithfully late to class but knows his math. If you don't have Viktirova, register for his class. Helpful quizzes and virtually no homework. Show up, ask questions in his office, and put your all in. If I did I would've made an A like the rest of my class. Laziness will result in a 79 (So close, I know!! Grrrrr...).
His class is very cookie cutter. Show up, work example questions, do a worksheet, leave. There is almost always homework that is pretty rough but still doable.
If you are not good at math or do not enjoy math, do not sign up for Teitloff. His class is extremely thrown together and lacks structure. If you put in enough work and attend pal sessions, you will exceed in his class, but if not you'll be like half the class who gets excited when they see a 70 on each exam.
DON'T TAKE HIM! His lectures lacks structure. He doesn't explain the problems well he just writes them down and expects us to understand it. Most likely this class with Teitloff will make you appreciate a high C low B. I got more out of Khan Academy videos than I did going to his lectures.
Basically went to class, did examples, and left. Examples were exactly like the quizzes he gave, so really didn't learn how to solve any problems, just memorized specific ones, which was terrible for taking the tests. Calc 2 is so hard anyways so definitely take it with a teacher that will help you better than Teitloff.
Teitloff was great for 2080. I can see why he may not be as good for 1080 because he doesn't control those exams, but his exams pretty well matched the lectures and the homework for us. He lectured off a chalkboard, which I liked because he didn't go too fast, and he did more than just examples for us in class.
Great guy that you can tell definitely loves math. He lectures most days with his notes on a PowerPoint that he makes accessible before class. His notes are life savers for his class! If you show up, pay attention, and do the daily activity in class, youll do great in his class.
Solid and fair grader. All lecture notes with tons of practice problems are uploaded to canvas before class starts. Plenty of practice exams. Provides solid reviews in class prior to exams.
He is a great professor and always posted his notes on canvas, which was very helpful because I mostly had to teach myself through his practice problems. He flies through lectures, but there is a lot of content in calc 3, so that is pretty understandable. If you have a question, he emails back very quickly and is willing to help.
At first I didn't like Dr. Teitloff because his entire class consisted of me rushing to write down notes and then having to teach myself. However, he is very relaxed and gives learning activities and quizzes that help prepare you for the exam. During online classes he was always available and he rounded by 89.4 up to an A without me even asking.
Dr. Teitloff is probably the best Math 2060 teacher at Clemson. That being said, the class is still one of the hardest math classes you will ever take. His teaching consists of mainly concept and where it comes from and a lesser focus on solving. The exams in this class are not easy, but you do get a notes sheet, and that helps balance some.
Nice Person, has a hard time speaking up, does not get the message through to students.
Teitloff is one of the better math professors. He uses real world examples to better explain topics. He does require you to complete an exercise with group members that is graded on accuracy at the end of every class. He gave two quizzes a week one online the other in person. Overall hes a fairly good professor.
He's really good at explaining math. He goes on tangents every now and then but the way he teaches, we are still ahead in curriculum even though he's laid back on utilizing class time.
Hes a good teacher. Do the worksheets and pay attention at lectures and youll be fine.
This was probably the worst professor I have had at Clemson. He literally uploads handwritten notes and reads the entire thing word for word in class. It is so boring and hard to follow, since he is reading a sheet verbatim and is so monotone. I ended up making my own notes bc I was not learning. BE PREPARED TO TEACH YOURSELF everything.
People may say Prof. Teitloff is a hard teacher, but it's mainly just a hard class. His homework was actually very helpful in understanding the concepts. His lectures can very easy to zone out in (especially if online), but he's probably one of the best options for Calc 3.
He is an OK professor, not bad, not good. I am currently in MATH 2060 with him and have found that I'm doing better without attending the lectures. He reads lecture notes word for word. I asked for him to post notes on canvas ahead of time and he did it without need for convincing, so he clearly cares about his students. He does grade harshly.
Teitloff is one of the worst professors I've ever had. He is super hard to understand in class, and it feels like he couldn't care less about the class. He doesn't explain things very well, he takes 2 hours to explain something that should only take 15 minutes, and the he isn't helpful outside of the classroom. DO NOT TAKE TEITLOFF.
Not that much work, tests are very similar to the notes which are posted, the learning activities were not mandatory. Best choice for 2060. Tests are most of your grade though.
Dr. Teitloff is an okay option for MATH2060. Non-mandatory attendance but his lectures in person are better than zoom. Tests are large % of grade but he does provide some practice problems & past exams. Most of the exams q's are nothing like the practice so be ready to teach yourself and find hours of practice questions on youtube.
Absolutely, Dr. Teitloff was an amazing professor. No matter your comfort level with math, this class has a good balance of material and challenge. Each class period, he was engaged, organized, and his teaching was clear. Beyond this, he is always accommodating, helpful, and accessible. It'd be hard to find a better professor for Math 2060.
Lectures are slow and not engaging. He does post notes though which is great. The course is really well organized. In-class graded learning activities, and 2 quizzes per week. Teaches new material up to the day before exams. He does explain things well, and is extremely accessible/ helpful outside of class. Nice guy, but super stingy with points
Best professor for Calc 3- the quizzes are practically straight from the homework and practice quizzes he posts and the tests are straightforward as long as you do the homework- which is not hard.
He would write out notes as he was lecturing and post them after class. He would also give us old notes, old practice problems, old quizzes, and old exams to use to study. Feedback on exams was clear as to what to fix, and he also posted keys to them as well. Also had the option to join zoom (without needing an excuse).
I came into this class thinking I was going to heavily struggle. However, Dr. Teitloff made the class simpler than I thought, but it is still a very hard class. The Learning Activities that are posted are super helpful for each lesson that is covered. Exams are relatively tougher because of a smaller time constraint. Overall, a great professor.
Teitloff is a pretty good professor for Calc 3. The old quizzes and exams he provides are super helpful and are basically the same as the actual exams given. Be meticulous about writing your steps on quizzes and exams, he is kind of a tough grader. You can talk through your approach with him and get points back most times though.
This is the BEST calc 3 professor Clemson has to offer! I had to withdraw from calc 3 in the fall because I was failing, and finished with an A in Dr. Teitloff's class the next spring. He makes many resources available to you (notes/quizzes/tests/answer keys) that provide so much good practice to guarantee success in his course. 10000/10 recommend!
Really enjoyed his class and very nice professor!
He teaches straight to the point. He doesn't dig around definitions like other professors. For example, "Here's the formula, here is an example of a problem you will be tested on, here is how you solve it." He is very easy to listen to and I enjoyed his class.
He is a fantastic professor that teaches exactly what is needed. His grading is very fair and I enjoyed taking his class.
Goat. Tests are 80% which does stink, but the final replaces your lowest exam if it's in your favor. Old exams are given and are essentially the same, so study, and you'll be fine. Dr. Teitloff is a super nice guy who teaches you exactly what you need to know to pass, so go to class, and you'll be fine.
Great professor - teaches you what you need to know and is pretty lenient on grading. He is a friendly, funny guy and you'll do okay in the class as long as you write down what he says because almost all of it is important.
Take him if you are taking Math 2060!! He made this class so easy if you do the homework and attend lectures, you are guaranteed a good grade. Answered all questions during office hours. Tests were exactly like the practice exams. Highly recommend him for any math class.
Dr. Teitloff is one of the best math profs I've had at Clemson. keeps things super straightforward with explaining concepts, and makes class interesting with his humor. Class has a ton of homework but if you keep up and study for the exams you'll be fine. also allows zoom for class and a student made cheat sheet on exams.
Dr. Teitloff is easy to follow during lectures and adds some humor occasionally. 2-3 MyLab HWs every week but they're not too long. Weekly in person quiz and online quiz due on Friday but he gives old quizzes with the answer keys. Exams are very similar to old exams which he gives answer keys for. Short daily quizzes after lectures with 2 attempts.
Dr. Teitloff seems like a nice guy and has a good sense of humor. However, his tests are very difficult and isn't very helpful during office hours. If you struggled with calculus in the past, Dr. Teitloff is not the professor for you.
Tests and Quizzes have difficult material but he provides old quizzes and exams with nearly identical questions. You get a note sheet on each exam and can be exempt from the final. There are 2-3 homework assignments and 2 quizzes each week.
Take calculus with this professor if you can. He's easy to understand and is very clear as to what he expects from you. Exams are exactly what you learn in class and look almost identical to the practice exams.
Dr. Teitloff is a great professor so far, his exams are very similar to practice ones and he also allows cheat sheets on the exam.
Dr Teitloff is the best instructor you will have at Clemson. Such an understandable person and has a great teaching style that simplifies Calc 3
Definitely take Teitloff for MATH 2060! Practice quizzes/exams were almost identical to real thing- definitely do them! Cheat sheets on every exam. Content can get tricky, but his notes are clear and helpful. Funny guy. Small quizzes after every lecture. MyLab homeworks for every lesson but not super long. Wish I could take him for 2080!
10/10 would recommend he is a great understanding guy. He tells you everything you need to know and is always there in his office if you need the additional help. Exams are very easy to prepare for. by doing over past exams and practice exams.
Overall awesome! Has a TON of resources available for the class (full lecture videos, dedicated exams page that gets unlocked, worked/recommended problems. In class portion includes end of class "group" practice questions, ~weekly quiz, then theres the mylab hw (& weekly quiz). Easily accessible/accommodating outside of class
The goat tbh
Teitloff really is such a nice and funny man. His tests are exactly like the practice tests he gives and as long as you study those you should at least get a B on the test. Overall, he is a great teacher and if you study an A should not be hard for you to get.
Dr. Teitloff was a great professor and lecturer. He wrote great notes and we were always provided with numerous materials to prepare for the exams.
DONT TAKE Him. HES EASY THEY SAY. ITS AN EASY CLASS THEY SAY. His exams are made for you to fail and he deducts points like crazy.
Teitloff was an amazing professor. Compared to calc 2, this class was a breeze and he made the content very clear and easy to understand. He posts old quizzes and exams that are nearly identical to what you will get in class, so if you do those you will easily get an A in this course. He also posts the notes online but attendance is still mandatory
Great teacher, notes were very clear and he gave easy exams.
If you can take Calc 3 with Dr. Teitloff, do it. The class is pretty simple if you like math and do the practice problems. You have weekly quizzes, but they are the same as the practice ones just with different numbers. Tests are also very similar to practice exams, so if you understand those, you'll do fine. He's also a pretty funny guy in class.
Strongly recommend Dr. Teitloff for Calc3! The grading criteria helps you succeed, some effort is required. You won't coast this class,it is Calc3 afterall. Tests pull 80% questions from test sample, remainder may challenge you. Quizzes(2/week) are more similar. Study early for Exam3. MC and written test hybrid 50/50.
Dr. Teitloff is the best calculus three professor there is. Without a doubt i would take his course 1000 times again. Good lectures, good online notes (filled out) & he has lecture videos. He does participation quizzes at the end of each lecture. Exams are very similar to the practice ones.
This guy is the man. Very approachable, lectures are about as engaging as calculus 3 can get, posts all nots to canvas, you can see past exams. Gives you everything you could possibly need to succeed.
This guy is the boy.
Dr. Teitloff is the best professor, hands down! His lectures are original and engaging, and he always includes examples and shows how to work through them. The quizzes and exams are relatively easy if you do the practice sets since it is often the same questions, just with different numbers. Easily accessible through email and for office hours.
lectures are boring (its calc 3 after all) but he teaches the content well. he provides his old quizzes and exams which will be very similar to the real deal so practice, practice, practice. definitely the best option for calc 3
Mr. Teitloff was an amazing professor! He truly makes hard concepts easy to understand. The homework is usually harder than what we did in class but it helped you understand the concepts more.
Teitloff's Calc 3 class is manageable if you put in the work. The tests mirror the practice exams, and unstuckstudy helped me prep efficiently.
Could not have asked for a better professor. Writes notes in-class, so they're easy to follow along. Relevant homework with detailed examples. Posts tons of practice material, and he lets you bring a cheat sheet for exams. Speaks clearly and reviews old topics as they come up. It's worth noting he mentioned possibly adding a 4th exam, so watch out.
Teitloff talks really slow, he's funny but boring. Class drags but he teaches the material well and explains in a lot of detail. One quiz a week but posts practice quizzes that are pretty similar to the real thing. Practice exams are only available a week before exam but they are also similar to exam. In class check every class with a code.
Professor Teitloff was a great professor. He usually starts his classes 5 minutes late, and there are easy review questions at the end of each class. His tests are very manageable to study for.
Dr. Teitloff is an amazing professor!! Would highly recommend for calc 3. Posts lecture notes, extra lecture videos in "course videos" on Canvas, and is super reachable outside of class. He taught the material very straightforward which made it easy to understand. Exams/quizzes mimic practices and old versions. All exams open note. Not bad if u try
This guy is elite, just shows up and teaches, pretty sure I could sit upside down in my chair for the entirety of the semester and he either wouldn't notice or just wouldn't care. Attendance technically not mandatory, but there's class practice with a password in lecture everyday. It's calc 3 so really hard obviously but gives ample review material
Dr. Teitloff is a solid professor—he's pretty chill and mainly focuses on lecturing. He explains things well and provides plenty of resources if you're confused or want extra help. The exams aren't super hard but not a breeze either. As long as you study, you'll do just fine!
Nice guy. He made things a little harder than they needed to be, but he's still a good prof
He is a very boring teacher, but he makes the class easy to learn. He handwrites the notes in class, which is nice, and he takes time to explain the concepts well. You can use notesheets for the exams, and his practice exams are very similar to the given exams. Overall, it was a good class.
He's good if you're an engineering student who just wants to get through calc 3 and never think about it again. If you actually want to learn how the math works and not just memorize formulas and patterns then take someone else. Used to allow your own notes sheet but doesn't anymore so that sucks.
Timmy T is the absolute best. He clearly explains everything in class, homework is helpful with unlimited attempts. Equation sheet provided for every exam so you don't have to do much memorization, and exams/weekly quizzes are extremely similar to the practice ones
Professor Tieloff uses live notes, which involve him explaining concepts live and then solving problems relating to the concept right after. Overall, he did a great job explaining everything clearly. Problems we did in class were similar to the test. There was plenty of material available to study for the tests, such as practice tests.
