Tim is an awesome teacher! He is extremely helpful and he knows his stuff. He makes learning fun and easy to understand. I would reccomend him for this class or any class he teaches!

Just use his power points as your study guide for lecture tests and you will do fine in this class. If you try to study the book it will be WAY too much info. And the lab tests are all just looking at models and writing down what his sticker is on. He's a cool teacher and very personable, take him if available.

Cejka is an amazing teacher. Very clear and helpful. If you have tons of questions he'll help you. I HIGHLY Recommend taking his class.

Timothy will be one of the most intelligent, helpful, and personable instructors you've ever had if you take his lecture/lab. He teaches great, utilizing PP to aid lessons. If you misinterpret or need further clarification, Tim is always willing and avail. to offer assistance. His history in the field also brings different perspective to his lesson

I struggled because my study habits are poor. Dr Cekja is fair, knowledgable and passionate about biology. If you are willing to put forth the work, this class is invaulable.

Dr. Tim is pretty helpful in and out of class. Tends to take a my way or the highway approach to questions, but once you figure out how to answer, it's not to difficult. Be responsive in class and not a jerk and he'll help you get the grade you need/want.

Took summer, so it was intense, but he made clear what we needed to learn.

Dr T rocks! he talks fast but what difference does that make...any american can understand him! Anyway...explains the material well and brings exciting information to class based on his own practice. Would take him again in a heartbeat! I found it EXTREMELY helpful to go to learning center before lab practical exams.

You need to read the chptrs before you come to class then you won't get lost. Great teacher very willing to help if you apply yourself. If you are a slacker you wont pass.You earn what you put into this class. Wish he taught patho..

I struggled! This class was not easy, but Dr. Cejka was very answered my questions and encouraged me to keep trying.

I took him for 201 and HAD to take him for 202. If you can sync with him you'll do fine as long as you study. Gives alot of notes and tells you basically whats on the tests. Does pick favorites but does not force you to fail if youre not a favorite.

Dr Cejka is an incredible teacher! He is NOT a spoon feeder, if you show up to class looking to "just get through" pick another prof. He is passionate about what he teaches and teaches brilliantly. Pay attention and you will do well! Listen in class and you'll know exactly what is on the test... He obviously a teacher of what he loves.

The reviews on this site are hilarious. He is not a difficult teacher in any way. He is very willing to answer questions and even reword things for those that learn differently, and he does love this subject. Yes, the class is difficult, but he is a great teacher to have if you put forth any effort. You will not skate by in this class.

This is not meant to be an easy course. Mr. Cejka will provide you with the information to do well. He speaks quickly, he accents what he finds notable. Pay attention in class. He provides you a structure list. Yes, you will need to know all. Very passionate and fair. If you don't pass, it's your own fault. Every opportunity is provided.

Dr Tim is a great teacher. He is clearly very passionate about his subject matter, and explains it very well. Other raters commented on him talking quickly, I'm English and had no problems with his accent. You must be prepared to study in this class, but Dr T will make it interesting and he's by far the best teacher I've had in this subject!

Hi dear: Timothy John Cejka is one of the best instructors for biology classes. He covers all chapters perfectly and on time. Getting A in his class is possible; for each chapter, he gives you his own hand out, which is extremely helpful. By reading the hand outs and paying attention to his lecture in class, your A in Bio classes is guaranty.

Cejka is an excellent teacher. The class us not easy because it takes time to memorize and understand the chapters but it is possible to get an A. I was a high school student taking this class and I ended up with an A. Only three chapter tests are difficult because it is very detailed but the rest are easy. I recommend it.

Get used to the word," amazing". He uses it in almost every sentence. The class is difficult, but it would be anywhere. He definitely loves the subject and knows a ton about I!

Excellent Lecturer! Took his class for Bio 201 & Bio 202 had to work equally hard to maintain a B. He uses extremely HELPFUL study guides that make textbook reading more manageable. His labs made you use critcal thinking and were also enjoyable. I recommend him. He is an all around decent guy, smart, witty, very professional.

Cejka takes pride in teaching. He uses various teaching methods (audio,visual) which is greatly appreciated by his students. He's kind, caring and goes out of his way to offer assistance. The only warning I have is he's VERY strict on spelling! This cost me a lot of points!Overall he's fantastic. Take him if you can. You'll learn this subject.

Really great professor! doesn't overload his students with work, gives handout for every quiz (must attend classes to get extra notes that aren't on the slide), is crystal clear on labs and assignments. Overall I would take his class again and recommend him to anyone interested in taking an anatomy course.

Dr. Timothy Cejka is a great professor!! Very clear, intelligent, helpful and very nice. He helps you learn, and makes himself available to the students. He is simply the BEST Professor at Gateway Community Collegell!

Dr. Cejka is very thorough and goes through his handouts at his best with given time. His labs are excellent and he goes around the class to make sure you understand everything and answers any questions. The tests are in depth so make sure to read the handouts and further research if needed. He wants his students to do well so just work hard.

Dr. Cejka is a great teacher!! Most of his questions come from his lectures/slides. I found that recording his lectures helped when it came to quiz/test taking. The labs were equally informative!! He also helped us cut down the costs on books... ASK HIM!!

Truthfully this class was not easy. If your not willing to put in at least 5-7 hours if not more a week for this class I would say don't take it because truthfully you wont pass.. Hes a great teacher but he makes you work hard for your grade.

Best professor I've ever had! If you study the slides and cardstock you are good to go. Gives lots of great info. Truly cares for his students. And wants you to get the best experience from his class.

Do the online homework, print out the lectures and follow along during class and actually study and you will do Fine. He is extremely patient and will take time to answer questions. Highly recommend.

Best teacher I've ever had! Makes class and subject material interesting and fun!

His lectures were very tough but if you knew them by heart you could pass his quizzes. He doesn't have tests just quizzes on the Powerpoint. The Powerpoints are very long but informative. His lab was also tough but he was very good about going over in detail what the structures were. He goes through material very quickly because he really enjoys it

His lecture and labs went hand and hand. I have dyslexia, a teen, worked 48hours and was able to pass his class with B. You just read the power points and study the lab cards. He keeps it short and to the point . I enjoyed his class. How ever if you miss his class you will be behind in lab and lectures.

He does a great job at his lectures and is very knowledgable. The pace of the class is very fast, so pay attention and print out the lecture powerpoint prior to class. Taking your own notes will not cut it in this class. Be aware of syllabus and try to not miss a class at all costs. 1-2 tests/week so it is important to never get behind.

Dr. Cejka was very tough but he is very smart. Our lectures were very heavy with material but he would point out what you needed to study for the tests. The lab was also tough but if you studied, hard, you will do well in this class. This class was much better than BIO 201.

Cejka was pretty much the best professor I've ever had. Students are presented with all the material they needed in order to pass the class. There are no surprises, he wants his students to pass, but you definitely have to work for it. I'm not sure if his policy has changed, our final exam were questions from previous quizzes.

Cejka truly knows what he is talking about. He trys to make his lectures as interesting as possible and trys to give us real world examples. I absolutely loved Cejkas lectures and labs he is an amazing professor by far my favorite. BUT you do have to work very hard and study a lot to stay on top of the class. His quizzes are hard but just study!

Such a great teacher! The lectures are all through PowerPoint that you can print out and study for tests. Gives quizzes every other week for 1 chapter which sounds difficult but better than having a big test for several chapters all at once. Would definitely take again!!!

One of the best teachers I have ever had, he really makes learning anatomy fun and interesting . He is very upfront on how he grades and the final is composed of questions asked from previous chapter tests. He also allows you to go over you chapter tests to see what you need to study more on. Put in the work and you'll get an A.

Timothy is the BEST!! He tells you exactly what you need to know for each quiz so if you take good notes during the lecture you will be well prepared! You will learn so much interesting material and hear the best stories in his class, highly highly recommend.

He made lectures entertaining. He is a stickler for details- you need to follow every assignment to the letter. His tests and quizzes were hard, you do need to study daily to keep up because everything is cumulative. All in all it was challenging but very fulfilling!

Cejka's teaching style is very organized when it comes to both Lab and Lecture. Lectures can get heavy but his slides are comprehensible and full of pictures, so you can do your own studying at home. His quizzes are all from what he's discussed-- as he says, "It's all fair game" and he never puts anything else down taken from the textbook.

BIO 202 gets in more specific details but as long as you keep up the pace from his 201 class, you'll be fine. He doesn't give any homework and doesn't use the textbook. Teaching style is very organized and clear. I recommend creating comprehensive and detailed outlines to understand lecture concepts. Otherwise, very fun class!

I took Timothy for Bio 201 and Bio 202. You have to be in class to get the details. You're not gonna pass if you don't study with enough time for the test. His Lab exams are easy to pass, lecture is a little more complicated. You can go to his office hours and review the test, which he gets the questions from for the final exam.

Dr. Timothy Cejka is THE best teacher I have ever had. I'm taking BIO 202 with him next semester and I am ecstatic about it. He is very fair in grading, will give lots of opportunity for a little bit of extra credit here and there. I wish he taught the other classes I need for the nursing program lol Take his class, you wont regret it :)

He simplifies Anatomy as much as he can. He really tries to make us succeed he gives some room for error if u mess up a lab or lecture exam so you can still manage to get a good grade. He applies science to real life and uses real events that relates to the subject hes talking about he is nice and fair. Plus he saves you money on a textbook.

Dr. Cejka is a great professor! I was worried about taking Bio 201 online, but he provides everything (slides, lecture videos, & notes), for all quizzes. Every week he gives, 1 weekly(usually 10 question quiz) and 1 quiz(25+ questions). There are no surprises in any quizzes. You will need to study for many hours, but its expected with this course.

He genuinely cares if you understand the material, and his test questions come from his slides. He drops the 2 lowest quiz scores by offering two additional option quizzes at the end of the semester that are comprehensive. Grades tough on essay or fill in the blank, and he asks lab questions re: structure when he's never shown you that angle/view.

Timothy is a great teacher! BEWARE anatomy is not an easy class, the chapters had very difficult content & LOTS of memorization. Lecture was a review of all the systems, lab was reviewing parts of every system (memorizing lots of body parts and pop quizzes every Thursday). He did provide lots of opportunities for extra credit! I recommend him 100%.

I love this professor, he's so funny! He is honestly the best professor I've ever had. Yes, his lectures are long and contain a lot of material that needs to be retained, but if you have good note-taking skills, you will pass his class with flying colors. His class is not for the weak, so be prepared for the late-night study sessions.

.The class it self is a lot of info. but like most bio classes you get what you give, meaning if you study and do the work you will get a good grade. you slack with studying then it will reflect in your grades. Took him for BIO 201 and 202. And really enjoyed his classes. He cares about everyone's success and is very knowledgeable on many topics!

Took this class for summer 2024, and let me tell you this class was a tough class to get through but it was very doable! Professor Timothy is very caring and he teaches very well. I never once looked at the book it is not needed,everything you need to know is in his lectures slides and lab pictures for the test. Please take him you won't regret it.

If you really are a serious student he's the best fit for you. Also Tim keeps students attention with real life examples related to the material he's experienced in life, but also as a medical professional. Always very friendly even if you don't laugh at all his jokes! Thanks for the knowledge, challenges, and inspiration Tim! I loved the labs.

Anatomy is NOT EASY, but Tim truly wants his students to succeed. He met with me outside of class to review tests, reexplain concepts, and replied to messages quickly—even outside school hours. Plus, the extra credit he offered boosted my grade by 5%! Highly recommend!

Anatomy is a notoriously very difficult class and I would highly recommend taking it with Timothy. His lecture tests are the most challenging but they're not impossible, you just need to really commit to studying. I finished the class with an A and would begin studying about a week before for 2-3 hours a day. Most of my class struggled in lecture

Tim is a great professor. There is a lot of material to memorize and piece together, and Dr. Cejka does a fantastic job of walking you through the material and ensuring you understand it. He is clear, funny, and helpful, and he offers opportunities for extra credit. You MUST study for this class. He is a great professor to guide you through A&P.
