This teacher is pretty average, but he only has tests, no quizzes or homework. He gives out a bunch of notes per test which makes it harder. He does have a quick review before each test, but just general sections, so it is not clear on what is exactly on the test. This is also his first year here and I had to take a W for the class.
Very lecture heavy, goes kinda fast
I loved him! He was very easy. Although it was his first year teaching, you can easily get an A if you put in the effort. The powerpoints come straight from the book, but I would recommend going to class. Tests are straight forward if you study! He is very laid back and cool too! If you want an A take him!!!!!!!!!!
Dugas is a good professor and is very knowledgeable about psychology. He is funny and the lectures are easy to follow. But his class is very dependent upon lecture notes, so don't skip class. Easy class
PSYCH 101 with Mr. Dugas turned out a lot easier and interesting than I thought. He is a great professor because he is knowledgeable of the material, never leaves a question unanswered and gives great examples, so you'll never get confused. There's 4 exams, which means lots of lectures. Come to class, take notes, read the book and you WILL pass.
I loved going to his class. He knows what he is talking about and he is fun!! I got an A on every single test because he gives you all the material you need to pass. I would highly recommend taking his class!!! He isn't hard to speak to either! I talk in class all the time and am comfortable with it!!
This was his first year teaching, and he did a great job! There are 4 tests & bonus opps. He provides the outline, so take notes, study, and you'll pass for sure. He loves psych and knows the material, so don't hesitate to ask him to explain anything. Laid back, cool dude.
All he does is lecture. The outlines he does provide you with have nothing to do with the test. If you take notes from what he tells you in class most of the information on the test is worded to mess you up or is simply not there. The textbook is probably your best option to pass this class.
Good instructor, very active and responsive to questions. Material was particularly difficult and at times did not feel relevant to the field of psychology. His exams are list heavy, which was a problem for everyone (we all complained about it) and it seemed that he preferred it that way. But lists don't explain. Psychology isn't about lists.
Cool, laid back, and funny. Goes over outline and gives more info then what's on the powerpoint. TAKE NOTES!! attendance in the beginning is required but later on does not matter. good instructor to say it was his first year. study and pay attention you will pass.
He is great. If u take good notes you will be fine!!!!
my absolute favorite teacher!!! He really knows what he is talking about, is very informative, and his tests are very straight forward!!! It is simple- go to class, take good notes, study and read the textbook, and just pay attention to his lectures- you will pass with an easy A.
His lectures are very clear; if you like lectures and taking notes, he's the guy for you. He'll give you a term and an example and tie concepts together nicely. Though, his lectures are a bit dry, he's feeding you directly what will be on the test.
It was very Difficult to pass with an B. He did offer extra credit towards the end of class which helped. Test heavy. Read the textbook if you want a good grade wish someone would of told me that. He is very fidgety. He shows interesting videos and posts outlines online for notes.
If you have the choice to take another prof. DO IT!! He tries to teach 5 chapters in one class period. And he goes though a lot of material in such little time. DO YOUR SONA. It helps your grade if you need that little extra boost. Just don't take him... no matter what anybody tells you.
Use the textbook, honestly thats the only way you will pass. Most of the stuff he talks about in class is on the test but not in the way he says it in class. he tries to confuse you on test. 3 test, 1 final , you have to do 4 sona's and any extras can boost your grade, 2 extra credit not worth much but still. but overall don't take him.
I won't recommend him to no one. When he's lecturing, it seems like he rushes through it a bit. For me, I hate how he's reading off a piece of paper instead of looking at the class while he speaks to the class. The only good thing is the SONA for extra credit
I loved his class he is awesome. He lectures heavy and give alot of extra credit, so do them!!! His test are easy I never recieved anything below an A..... attendance is important because he gives u the test answers in class if you take good notes.. star the things he say are truly important!! TAKE HIM I PASSED WITH A 99 and i barely studied!
If you're not huge on listening, don't take him! He does explain the topics but he gets kinda longwinded after while. Granted, it's a lecture class, but the amount of notes I have after one class is ridiculous. If you can take someone else, do it.
Although he was lecture heavy he was my favorite teacher. He made Psychology interesting & I learned a lot from him. Study from the book & notes, you will be fine. 4 tests in all final is cumulative.
If you go to class, take notes, and study all of the notes you will make an A in the class. He gives a ton of extra credit so if you don't do so well on the test you can always bring it up with the extra credit. Class is easy if you actually study from the notes. (I never read the textbook just the notes).
He's a decent teacher.... I did decent at the beginning of the semester but realised that reading the chapters in the text book is REALLY helpful so if you are struggling, read the chapters in the text book
He reads off of PowerPoints the entire class & gives examples. You dont really need to be in class to learn because all of the PowerPoints & outlines are on moodle. There are 4 test and online experiments to do that are easy. Study in advance for test dont procrastinate or your grade will definitely suffer. Overall class is fairly boring.
He is very lecture heavy and tests are really difficult. Go to class or you won't know anything that will be on the test. The class usually feels like it drags on. You will have a chance to do extra-credit with Sona. I have all A's and a C in his class.
He makes sure you understand everything lectured and gives a ton of examples in class. Majority of the examples are the same ones or similar examples on the test. If I could I would love to take the class over again. From the day you get the notes start studying and this class should be a breeze.
Im taking him this semester and his class is the easiest class i have. His test come straight from the lectures. Participation is only required in the beginning of the semester. He puts everything on moodle so youll be straight if you dont go to class.
good teacher. wouldn't take in the morning bc u will get sleepy from boredom
His class is kinda boring cause all he does is talk. Attendance isnt mandatory but is very helpful cause he gives great examples to help with remembering things. All the PowerPoints are posted on moodle. Tests can be hard so study. Reading the book can be helpful.
Professor Dugas is easy-going. He takes attendance the first half of the semester but not the second. He posts all of his powerpoints, but I felt like going to class ensured I wouldn't have to study or read the book. His lectures can get boring, but the class is super easy. Gives bonus opportunities. Four MC tests, and the final was cumulative.
Eh... if boredom had a face, it'd be him. It's just the way he speaks that's boring, very monotone, no enthusiasm. But he seems like an okay guy, however he definitely does not round your grade (he doesn't even care if you're 0.2 points away from an A like I was). It's a fairly easy class, though.
boring test hard but can get a C if you try
He is very boring. He reads straight from the power point. If you can teach yourself, then take this class. Use quizlet to help you study and you should pass. I currently have a C.
I loved Dugas. Lots of people say that he's monotone and boring but really it's what makes him funny without trying. He gives SO many examples and doesn't move on if someone doesn't understand because he cares. I aced every test I took, tons of chances for bonus. The tests are extremely close to the powerpoints, which he posts on moodle. 10/10
Lectures are interesting if psychology is interesting to you. Go to class and pay attention to lectures and you should have at the very least a B. He gives all the information you need for the test in class verbally. I was worried about psych being difficult, but it's my easiest class this semester.
These ratings make him seem way more boring than he actually is. I would recommend going to class but if you read the textbook and the powerpoints it won't kill you to skip a few times. He's very clear about what will be on the test and is ready to explain things if needed. He really makes the class as painless as possible.
Had him for psych 220 and at first wasn't a huge fan. He ended up being one of my favorite professors. He's really nice and cares about his students. We had multiple opportunities to be successful in our research proposal. I would recommend taking him.
If you attend the lecture you will do fine and won't need the textbook. He posts the powerpoints on moodle so during class I would listen and add to the powerpoints with any extra information he says because he teaches while looking at the test to make sure he covers everything. I never made below a 94 on any test! Offers plenty of bonus points
Teaches from powerpoint. Did not crack open the textbook once and got an A. I would recommend writing your notes rather than typing, so you can process the material better in your head. Plenty of bonus opportunity. Try to complete the surveys as soon as possible. Nice teacher and easy A if you read over your notes once or twice before the test.
I didn't use the textbook because he gives great example and exactly what's on the exam in the lectures. Makes the class super interesting.
Definitely a cool teacher, attend class regularly and you'll pass. He hints at what's going to be on the exams during. He usually posts powerpoints online and if you take notes from that and skim the chapter you'll make an A easily.
He is lectures all class and doesnt give you a break. Hes your typical college professor but I think hes a great teacher. Just be ready to take notes in his class
The lectures can be boring sometimes and his voice is montone. He posts all of his powerpoints online and the tests are exactly from his powerpoints. if you study you will make an A.
Super awesome, funny, great professor. He is lecture heavy, but he provides the slideshows he uses and I actually enjoyed and looked forward to his classes!
He has a very active person, you shouldn't be falling asleep in his class. He tries to make it fun, little corny. The examples he gives are on the tests. I am taking him this semester and we had 4 major tests, SONA, a small quiz, and our final exam. I highly suggest writing out your notes. Easy A if you study and go to class. no pop quizzes.
Just pay attention to his lectures because he gives bonus off of some stories that he tells through out some classes. He is pretty straight forward.
He's entertaining and made the lectures feel laid-back so that you're comfortable to ask questions. No assigned readings from the textbook but reading along with the lectures really helped get a better understanding. You don't have to show up but it definitely helps because he shares real-world examples that are usually bonus on the tests.
Professor Dugas is a laid-back and fun professor. This class is lecture-heavy and there are only a few opportunities for grades so attendance is mandatory.
He posts the power points on moodle for which allows you to follow along in class. he doesn't just read word for word off the presentation so you can fill some things in or add information
He is a great psychology teacher. You pay attention take notes in class and study and you should do just fine. He gives so many bonus opportunities so even if you bomb tests you have a chance to bring up your grade. just do the bonuses.
He teaches the information not just so you can get your credits, but challenges you to think critically and gives a good taste to what Psyc really is. The tests are a bit difficult, bc he doesn't give study guides, but I personally got the hang of them after the first two. If you show up and study a little, you can pass.
Awful teacher!!!! I'm a student who doesn't make bad grades, but I finished the semester with a D.. the test are worded to try to trick you. Honesty id try my hardest not to take him if you take psych 101.
We lectured every day, briefly review, take a test, then repeat. Slides were almost directly from the textbook. Tests were easy if you showed up to lectures and paid attention. Though, I also did some minimal studying outside of class. Mr. Dugas did make an effort to answer all of my questions, and to find out the answer when he didn't know.
he's a joke honestly. super vague and the notes in class teach nothing!
Love him! Sometimes he teaches fast. But Ive taken him for psych 101 and now Im taking psych 210. Hes not a bad teacher like some of these ratings say. The key to passing ANY class with an A or at least a B is to study everyday (u can skip weekends) and when you study, pretend youre teaching a class. I guarantee you that youll do much better.
I liked him. You have to study for this course, but quizlet helped me a lot with this course Im almost complete with the class and I have an 83%
tim is a very great teacher. hes my only lecture class that i go to and actually enjoy. 4 tests, 1 quiz, and the final. ive never made below a 90 on the tests and he gives bonus on some of the tests but puts them towards your cumulative grade to help you out more. tests are straight powerpoint but he puts questions from the lecture so go to class
Mr. Dugas was an amazing professor. It is not an easy A class because you have to STUDY the material in order to get an A. He offers bonus on the test. There are 4 tests, SONA experiments, and 1 quiz. He is super sweet because he bumped up my grade from a B to an A! I highly recommend him. His notes are straight forward from the test!
He gives few grades and makes you work for the grade you get so be prepared to study hard for his class! Also show up and understand what he is saying off the PowerPoint. However his class isnt impossible but you definitely have to work for your grades
One of the best professors I have ever had at SELU. Professor Dugas is very good at explaining the material and always uses real life examples to help students understand the terminology more. EASY A. If you study the material on the powerpoints and take notes in class.. you will do just fine!
He talks in a way that is so easy to understand and relates the subject to real life easy to relate to problems and situations. He very clearly knows and understands what he is teaching us and that is a great help while trying to learn from him. you must know how to take notes and actually listen to what he is saying though if you want to pass.
3 online quizzes, 2 assignments, and 4 tests is what your grade consists of. Final is not cumulative. Gives lots of examples that are mentioned on the tests. Book is easy to read. Only bad thing is his powerpoints are PDF files which is obviously minor.
I dropped this man's class for a reason. He talks very fast and paces back and forth in class while giving lectures. His lectures come from the textbook and he reads the powerpoints word for word. I will never take him again
Mr. Dugas is a great psych teacher. I took him for psych 102 and 210 and I made an A in both of his classes. I studied the night before for all the exams and I still made atleast a 99 on all of them!
lectures are enjoyable and easy to follow. cares about students, will help you if you don't understand. Study for the quizzes and exams, revel helps a lot offers bonus VERY GOOD.
His lectures are word for word from the book. So are his tests. Some of the examples on the test are the same as in the book. Overall great professor. Mr. Dugas makes class fun and enjoyable.
I took Dugas fall 2020 and his class was hybrid. His tests werent proctored online so easy A & his lectures & PowerPoint gave you all the information for the tests.
I took Mr. Dugas in Spring 2020 and by far has been my favorite teacher I have taken at SLU, he makes class super interesting and actually made me want to take another psych class. highly recommended. you will have to go to class, but why else are you in college lol. not too much work outside of class, just some easy surveys for extra points.
Professor Dugass class is very laidback as long as you pay attention. He gives 4 tests, a midterm, and a final. He reminds you to do all of the assignments after the end of every class, so none of us forget. He is very nice and funny. His class was one of my favorites.
The lectures are very heavy but thats because he tries to explain and also give examples so it is easier to understand. Test are pretty simple and if you take notes and study you will pass. I recommend taking him if you have a chance.
His class was real easy and I strongly recommend you take him online. He gives 4 exams and a final, a few quizzes, and discussion boards are super easy. You don't have to put much effort into those, he gives a 100 on the board as long as you wrote a couple sentences. You have to write 2 papers but as long as you follow his format, youll do good.
he just reads straight from the textbook so it felt like a waste of time. i could have taught myself. it was a virtual class though so maybe he is better in person? we had quizzes , a few tests, and some assignments . It was easy, the last few tests just got hard so I ended up with a high b :/
This class: Principles of Research Design. Have taken him for multiple PSYC courses and is a genuine professor that is actually interested in what you have to say. Very conversational, cool dude as well. Also took him for Social Psyc. and Group Dynamics Psyc.
Timothy dugas is awesome. If you attend class you will learn a lot. He explains things well. You do have to do a lot of studying on your own but he goes over the material well. He talks a little fast but also typing fast is a part of college he is also pretty funny in making analogies to things. Would take again.
Go to class and reread your notes and powerpoints and you'll pass. Grade is basically just the tests and quizzes for each chapter. Tests are all multiple choice and quizzes are all online. His lectures really help you understand the info, so go to class.
Ok professor. I learned everything I needed to at home and received a B on every test. Kind of rude though.
I highly recommend professor Dugas, his lectures are always very clear and easy to follow. Make sure to attend class and take detailed notes. Tests are fairly easy if you take good notes
Timothy Dugas was a really good professor. He is very helpful when it comes to explaining something. The only thing is, it is so much material and it is difficult to remember everything. There was no Midterm, so that means the final is cumulative. Psychology is interesting, just make sure you can set the time aside to study after the class.
Took him for 210. I really enjoyed this class, his lectures are interesting. The tests easy and straight forward. Although he reads straight from the textbook, going to class is very helpful because he gives good examples. There's two assignments and a few quizzes, all online, and easy as well. I would highly recommend.
He was not a bad teacher from an instructional standpoint. However, he was very rude to his students and he made several crude jokes that he sometimes took too far. He also pretty much teaches straight from the text book so his lectures can be redundant, especially if you read the text the night before.
Overall, a great professor. The material I learned from this professor still sticks with me. Make sure you read the textbook and PowerPoints. Take notes!! Easy A!
He's constantly pacing back and forth while lecturing and literally reads his powerpoints word for word. That's his lectures. Very redundant and he's rude to his students.
if you often like to skip class, take dugas. You have to read out of the textbook but that's all he does in class. Midway through the semester I noticed that even the examples he uses are from the textbook, just read the book and you will pass.
While he is somewhat strict with calling kids out for being excessively late or disturbing class he is super chill super funny and clear doesn't mind repeating thing teaches with a smile and makes a lot of jokes i loved this teacher!!
He can be a little harsh to some people, but he is a great teacher and he's never been mean to me. Tests are super easy if you study the textbook on Pearson. There's a few quizzes and 4 tests and a final. You get to do SONA experiments for a grade which are kind of fun. If you do 4 extra SONA experiments, you get 4 bonus points. Highly recommend!
He is a good professor but there is ALOT of studying .His test are a lil tricky but if you study youll be fine .
Timothy Dugas was one of my classes that I was excited to go to. He kept me interested and entertained the entire class. Some people did not do good because they just flat out did not study. The material is very easy to learn if you just sit down for a couple hours. I did not make less that an A on any test. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Dugas was whatever you know he can be a little of putting and unrealistic about how he perceives the world and the people in it. Just read the textbook or take really good notes in class and you'll get an A. There also small online experiments you have to do and chapter quizzes. Don't be late, don't roll your eyes, and don't drink water.
Interesting class. Must study textbook and class notes, pay attention in class. Favorite words, "its fair game" meaning you are responsible for all material covered. No reviews for exams and final.
You may want to attend ALL lectures if you want to pass. If you have to miss, get a friend to record the lecture. He's not understanding if you have to make up an exam. He makes it 1000x harder and you're only allowed to retake if you have a doctors note. Really easy to understand, but a little too strict for my liking.
All we did was lectures and tests. You have 3 big tests with 2 chapters each. A quiz for each chapter. A final quiz and a cumulative final.
He can be harsh at the beginning about people turning up to class late, but he is mostly very laid back and chill. Always willing to talk and answer questions. There's a quiz for each chapter (10 questions) and 4 exams. Tests are EXTREMELY easy if you study even just a little bit. Makes content easy to understand. Lectures in an entertaining way.
Mr. Dugas was amazing! I definitely recommend him for anyone who wants to take social psychology (psych 210). His class was very interesting, and his tests were pretty easy!
I loved Mr. Dugas. His social psych lectures were pretty interesting. His tests are really easy too. I ended the semester with a B! Definitely take him!!!
Took him for 210 and he was fine so I figured 335 would be too. WRONG! Please take someone else if you can, he gives a LONG assignment every week and virtually no instructions on how to do them so you just have to figure it out and hope for the best.
I loved this class so much! He is an amazing lecturer and keeps students engaged easily. He gives extra credit opportunities towards the end of the year and is very clear on grading criteria and due dates. This class is textbook heavy, but it is not that bad, especially if you pay attention in class. There are several assignments and 4 exams total.
lectures the entire class so it can get a little boring but if you pay attention and do your homework its not too bad, the test arent very easy but he gives extra credit towards the end of the semester.
you should definitely attend class. his tests are 30% notes and 70% lecture. he gave multiple opportunities for bonus. he lectures the entire class, but they are very beneficial. i loved his class and how he engaged with students. i would take his class again!
Great professor! Very lecture heavy. Tests are pretty straight forward.
I loved Mr. Dugas! Class expectations are very straightforward. There is no homework, aside from the "SONA experiments," which are only graded based on completion. He makes his lectures as entertaining as possible, which really helped me retain the information. If you attend class, pay attention, and take notes, an A is very easy to achieve.
I thought he was a good professor, my only real compliant about his class is at times I thought he talked really fast. It would become hard to write or even type notes. I highly suggest going to class, he explains the subject so much better then the powerpoints! Also don't be late to class cause he will lock you out...
he is the best psych teacher, his tests were easy but i still learned the material. very clear about the requirements for class. my only critique is that he can be a little rude at times and DO NOT SHOW UP TO HIS CLASS LATE !!
Mr. Dugas was a GREAT teacher. I enjoyed his lectures and he was hilarious. I would recommend going to class because of all the great examples and extra information that aren't included in the powerpoints. I would take his class again and he is overall a good person.
amazing professor! he is such a nice man and he is very relatable. He makes his material VERY easy to understand. Always cracks jokes in class too. Only thing that made it slightly difficult were his exams. They are applied/ scenario questions so you have to understand the material well. Would DEFINETLY take again and recomend.
Lecture is heavy, but good. Only talks about things beneficial for exams. Study your notes and you should pass.
He's a good teacher, funny and easy to understand. He explains anything you have questions with, but he is very lecture heavy. Take notes, and pay attention to the examples he gives.
I genuinely enjoyed this class. Dugas makes the concepts easy to understand and he is funny. This class is very lecture heavy, and it is essential to take notes. Exams focus a lot on application of the material. Grading consists of exams, online quizzes, 2 easy assignments, and even had a bonus option. I would definitely recommend this class!
There are other easier professors so would not recommend
4 exams. 1 final (cumulative). 2 easy assignments. Some bonus opportunities. He says he takes attendance, literally never does after first few weeks. Funny, great teacher. Easiest class to pass if you actually go to class and skim the textbook chapters. Not hard if you do even the slightest bit of studying.
He was very good at teaching. He gave great examples in class, just make sure you go to class, because he uses examples he gives in class on the actual exams. As long as you study, you should be good. He stops taking roll a couple months in. He doesn't just read off the slides, he actually gives good examples and helps us understand.
Love love love Mr. Dugas. His lectures take the full hour and 15 and his exams are based on the notes taken in class, but be ready to type the whole class. Its just memorization. He gives some extra credit opportunities. His lectures are very engaging and easy to follow. Highly recommend he's amazing!
I think he is a good teacher he gives good lectures. But it's like he gives SO MUCH information at once. It's too much to keep up. Every single test I studied so hard and for days. Every week I go over my notes and I still can't seem to make better than a D on each test. The tests are so hard you never know what's gonna be on them.
If you can get him for this class, no matter how late or early, DO IT. His assignments were very easy, and everything he went over in class is in the book, so you can read that if you miss a class. He WILL say things in class that aren't in the book sometimes, so take notes. His tests are super easy as long as you do the practice test on MacMillan!
Lectures based on his power points, which he posts on canvas. Doesn't give a study guide. You can just read the book and his slide show and don't have to attend lectures, but they do help. I'd take his class again.
Made the lectures pretty interesting but they were so so fast. I'm a fast typer and I tend to do a good job comprehending things quickly but I found myself occasionally getting lost or behind. Other than that I enjoyed the content and I think he did a great job teaching it. I enjoyed being in class, he had a fun personality kept the energy up!
Amazing lectures....everything he said in the lecture was on the test you just have to study your notes.
Professor Dugas delivers engaging lectures and provides clear expectations. Attending class is a must as his notes and examples are invaluable. For study prep, unstuck study and the textbook are super helpful.
He's amazing! This is my second time taking him bc I was goofing off the first time and failed. He always says at the beginning of the first class that everything he says is fair game. This means you better write EVERYTHING he says in class. Every story, example, study, etc., because they most likely will be on the test or can help you study.
Great teacher and super funny. Prepare to write the whole class. You might want to record his lectures like I did because i'm not a fast typer and everything he says will/could be on tests. Just show up to class and you'll be fine!
This is not a difficult class; it is definitely best to attend even though it is not required, but listening to the lectures in person helps a lot because he provides examples on exams. Reading the textbook helped me do better on exams. Just reading over the chapter summaries will help in the long run, along with lecture notes.
Attending class is important because not everything he says in class is posted on the lecture slides in Canvas. He offers extra credit through Sona. Just show up to class and write down notes and you will pass.
Great teacher and funny person. Very easy to understand the material
Try to pick a different professor; there are better options for psychology. Dugas talks too fast, and exams make up most of your grade. If you don't do well on them, your grade will suffer. I've heard this class is supposed to be an easy A, but I do not recommend it.
I've taken Mr. Dugas for two classes now and he's great. To do well on exams, I recommend reading the textbook, and practice using definitions and applying them critically. That is the key to success for his class. Your quizzes will be online and assignments as well, and they are very easy. Great professor!
he talks fast, but gives really good examples, and is very open to help if you dont understand. he is amazing!! if you can take him, do it!
Posts his slideshows in canvas, but I would recommend going to class because his lectures are interesting. Tests and assignments are all multiple choice.
Professor Dugas is harder than his overall rating says. He talks very fast in class, and the only reason I have a B right now is because I'm teaching myself with the textbooks. People might say he gives bonus but its like a small 4 extra bonus for the semester's entirety. The tests are pretty much the only grade so you have to do very well to pass.
I wouldn't take him again. He lecture for the ENTIRE 75 minutes. Exams are difficult. Attendance isn't mandatory but you will miss out. Doesn't post a guide line for exam so they're free for alls. Didn't even give one for the final and won't tell you what is on it. He's not terrible but not the best. Gives one or two bonus assignments
he rambles and forgets what he is teaching pretty often... you will do better just reading the textbook, since that is what he does anyway.
he is such a tough grader on the research papers. even if you directly take his suggestions, he will never give an A on a paper. i also feel like he may be a misogynist just by how he treats female students in this course, and i was a guy in a mostly female classroom.
TERRIBLE, Professor doesn't give any assignments only Sona experiment's, stopped taking attendance mid semester GRADES TERRIBLE no remorse at all
He is a hard grader and lecturer who doesn't drop any grades. I wouldn't recommend it at all.
I love Professor Dugas! He does lecture heavily, but just make sure to show up and pay attention. He will answer any of your questions- just ask. Although lectures can be boring, he naturally finds ways to make them exciting. He doesn't mess around, though. Do your part, he'll do his. I also think he's hilarious.
Genuinely if you show up and pay attention to what he says. He will repeat what you need to write down whatever he repeats and that's what will be on the exam. He's hilarious and will remember your name long after the class is over if you put a little effort in.
Love this dude to death, he is hilarious and the class is pretty easy as long as you pay attention (about 40-30% of the test can sometimes include stuff he says that is not on the slides). You can make practice quizzes using AI by scanning the book used and pass pretty much every test with a B at the least. Would reccomend this guy to anyone.
Most of quizzes are McGraw and due before exam. First few weeks show up for attendance but rest he does not care. Exam is straight from notes he uses. His notes match slide shows but he uses examples and those are on exam. Exams are not hard. Study quizlet or friends notes and you will pass if miss class and do assignments on McGraw.
