Honestly for this to have been a online class. I would say Professor Martin was Great! He explained the assignments thoroughly, you would always be able to get in touch with him for clarification. I like Professor Martin online teaching style. The class is asynchronous. He updated us weekly/ checked in what we should be doing for each week. Very clear instructions and grading for speech assignments. Be sure you are highly self motivated if you take this class.

All grading criteria and assignments are given at the start of the course. Beginning is simply read and do some online quizzes and practice short video speeches. Halfway to the end of the semester is where your 3 long-form speech is due, but we are given a lot of time and good feedback throughout each week to complete the speeches and assignments.

This is my third time taking Speech 101 and I will say that this time it was great. Prof. Martin gives good feedback and is great at helping when you need it.
