Somedays he would drag things out. But most days he was pretty entertaining. He knows the material so well and explains how it relates to daily life. I'd love to have him again.

Great Professor. Knows the subject very well. Always available to help. Pay atention to the class and study the book. Everything that it is in the book is in the exam. Nothing less, nothing more. A+++ easy.

Great Professor. Talks too much, but makes the class fun. Quizzes and participation ("stickers") help with the grade. Tests are hard you have to study. I did BIO I and BIO II with him, and had a great time.

I had no interest in Chemistry when I began this class, but found him extremely interesting and very funny! I actually enjoyed the class very much. He was very difficult, but I enjoyed the challenge. He explained Biochemistry very well and gave a lot of bonus points on tests and quizzes, which helped your overall grade. Smart guys are hot!!!!

well i only had him once a week for 3 hrs. and he taught alot! he was great and funny. he'll throw a curveball on the tests sometimes. just ask questions and he'll answer, he'll even stay longer until u understand the lesson

Overall passion for Chemistry - keep in mind it's a basic class and he teaches high school so it's geared toward that level. Professor Mure is a little quirky BUT it gives him character. He is a phenomenal teacher and really knows his stuff. His enthusiasm for Chemistry is inspiring. He makes the material easier to understand and always makes class fun! If you come to class, pay attention and do the homework, you'll get an A.

In High School I didn't understood chemistry. Professor Mure is very good at explaining things. I understand everything we have done, gotten an A on the first test, and Chemistry does not come easy to me. You must attend class to do well. He teaches the entire class period so don't expect to leave early. He is a great teacher and funny too.

If you do the HW problems and write down everything he writes on the board you will get an easy A. He does tend to lecture past the allotted time, but will answer all your questions. You can text/ email him anytime and expect a timely, helpful response.

Prior to attending his class, I despised chemistry, most likely because I didn't understand it. Not going to lie - I didn't make it easy on him. He didn't really understand that I have to travel constantly for work but he was a good sport with putting up with my bs. I took this class years ago at Rutgers and concepts I never understood especially in the perspective of organic chemistry were clearly explained by Professor Mure. I enjoyed the class and learned so much. His way of creating a strong foundation of concepts and building upon it made everyone stronger as the semester passed, unlike other professors.

Prof. Mure was an outstanding teacher. One of the best I've ever had...and I've completed post-secondary and graduate school. At the beginning of the semester he said that by the end of the year we'd see the world totally different. He was right. He made chemistry come alive and relevant even to those of us that weren't fans of the subject.

Prof. Mure is extremely knowledgeable. As a previous poster explained, he said he would see the world differently...and I do! I learned a lot. So much more than what I ever thought. You need to put in a lot of effort. His tests are hard. His class was a ton of fun. We always knew we would be laughing. My advice woud be to make sure you do the hw.

If you have any difficulties understanding chemistry this is the class to take. Professor Mure makes relatively difficult information easy to understand, while still making the class intersting. You still have to work at it and do your homework, but you can easily do well if you keep up with everything. I would recommend the class

I never enjoyed chemistry. All my past teachers of the subject have been impatient and grouchy. Prof. Mure is an incredible teacher, making every class enjoyable and the material interesting. I looked forward to the 4 hour lectures as well as his lab every week. If you don't understand something he will take the time to help you understand.

I enjoyed lecture so much that I took him for lab the following semester! He is a superb educator- truly passionate about the subject and teaching. Although much of the material was review for me (I dig science), I did learn how a lot of it applies to the everyday world around us. Fascinating! I truly walked away enriched, not just academically.

Professor Mure was a great teacher! Had him for Intro to Chemistry lecture. Selected "lectures are long" because it was a night class 6-9:40, and he always went until the last minute. He has a lot of stories, which take up a lot of time, but they can be very interesting. He is a very knowledgeable guy and very smart! I enjoyed taking his class!

I had heard and read good reviews about Prof Mure and it was all accurate. He loves what he teaches and really knows his stuff and is always trying to make you laugh. Missing a lecture is no good, a lot is covered and class goes from beginning to end. Not a fan of Chem at all but would take him again if I had to.

At first I thought that since he jokes around a lot he may not cover the material required for the exams. But I work 60 hours a week and took his lectures at night from 6 to 9:40 and I never fell asleep even for a minute. Great professor and his experience shows. Chemistry is certainly not my forte however professor mure made each class enjoyable. If it wasn't for his teaching method I probably would not have passed this course. Chemistry wasn't my strong point until I entered Professor's Mure class where he made the three hour and 40 minute night class the best. He kept the class alive and awake. He kept our intrest with his witty lectures and understanding of the material easier. Don't be fooled you need to do the suggested reading and homework ito all counts.

Does not lecture from powerpoints or textbook, if you cant take good In class notes, dont take him. For that reason, an absence is KILLER. Otherwise, AMAZING professor, very personal, funny, and likeable. Made chemistry fun (I used to dread chm) and I wish he taught more. He does go off on tangents, but its always purposeful and not off topic.

Professor Mure is well organized, extremely prepared and professional. Students are encouraged to ask questions. Quick to email back. Class time is devoted for exam reviews before tests. Lectures are clear and understandable producing countless "ah ha " moments. The syllabus is a key to understanding test expections and there are no suprises.

Professor Mure is enthusiastic about his teachings and puts in the effort to answer any questions. Make sure you bring coffee to the lectures because it is long but useful. He also gives ten minute breaks in between each lecture. The tests correlate to the quizzes, but make sure you email him if you find any mistakes for potential points.

Professor Mure is a wonderful instructor who genuinely cares about his students. He is very personable, and knows the material very well. Just be prepared to study, as it isn't an easy course. He also gives extra credit in the form of stickers. I recommend the owl stickers. They're the best.

If you have to take Chemistry, you have to take it with him! I never took Chemistry, even in highschool, and he still was able to teach me. He cares a lot about his students and wants to make sure everyone succeeds. Pretty funny too and a good person

Professor Mure is an amazing professor! The first day of class he told us exactly how to succeed, read the book, do the homework, come to class and you will get an A. His lectures contained a lot of information but he make sure that everyone understood the content before moving forward and related the material to real world situations.

I was worried about taking a summer chem class but Professor Mure was an amazing teacher. He told us from the start how to get an A... read the chapter, do the assignments, come to class. His lectures were great! He incorporated real life stories and examples and kept the class engaged. I followed his advise and got an A!

Taking a night class is not easy, especially a 3 hour and 50 minute chem class. this professor makes this course so enjoyable and time flies for the most part. he makes jokes and relates to others and does his best to teach while keeping us awake. def recommend him!

I think about this professor very often. I took his class in the summer for chemistry. This was my third time taking it after getting Cs I got an A. He has outstanding lectures and even connects material to his personal life to make it easier to memorize and to build a relationship with him. So easy to communicate with and an overall great guy.
