[Rated by THE CREDIBLE ONE] HARD. Yeah, this teacher is not easy. If this is your first semester math course at Clemson I recommend spending 3 hours on homework daily. Grades tough and moves through class quickly. He is a good teacher though.
Oh, oh Tim Parrot-San!
This guy knows his stuff and knows how to teach it, but he moves very quickly through material. Expect many pop quizzes, especially if your cell phone goes off in class. Grading is very harsh.
This guy is strait forward. He doesn't mess around. If you have an 80 test average it is possible to make a D. Believe me it happened to me. So if you take his class study your arse off. He gave us a pop quiz everyday for two weeks. He hates cell phones
This guy goes over every proof for each equation and is not very flexible on grading. We have also had homework every night for two months straight!
Not a teacher anyone should take for begginning math classes. Takes off points for everything. Like not putting a period on a sentence and everything else. Moves very fast, and expects everyone to understand it on the first go through

Tough class, but straightforward tests. Randomly gives pop quizzes and occasionally gives take home assignments, but they relate directly to tested material. Easy to understand, and fun to watch as he has a fruity manner with everything he does.
Grades kinda harsh on quizzes, and flies through the material, but he's a nice guy who will help you out if he knows your name to your face. Do the problems every(or almost every)night, and ask lots of questions in class, and you'll get a B.
He is a math nazi.
He was a tough professor...grades really hard. But if you work hard you'll do alright. Ask him about his cat.
harder than you'd expect, somehow his grading is really painful..
I would NOT take this teacher again! He told me I INTEGRATE wrong. You have to write full sentences and define every step you do. Our class average is a 61 right now-our last test average was a 50 something. Take anyone else even if it's 8AM. He pretends he doesn't know what you're trying to ask.
i thought he was a good teacher. You have to work though.
I hated every second of this class. Every one of my test grades were an average of 15 to 20 points lower than they should have been. Rehearses lectures beforehand, if he screws up, he'll skip the question and ask you to do it for homework. Oh, and review day is show off day for him, no help at all.
This guy is a math nazi, but he definietly knows his stuff. The biggest problem that I had with the guy is that he is the most particular grader ever. You have to be a minor in English Grammar to do well on his quizes and on the tests. But after taking the class I really understand the material.

Worst math professor a freshman could have; he openly admitted that, in his opinion, freshmen should not be able to take the class. Take anyone but him. Gives daily quizzes on the material he is teaching that day, making you essentially teach yourself. Be prepared to fully explain each and every step on quizzes and why they were made.
He is probably the most difficult professor for this subject. Do not come to class unprepared, as he quizes you nearly everyday. Be prepared to work your tail off because this is no walk in the park course and he is not an easy teacher to take.
TERRIBLE teacher. He will make mistakes in class and lectures are more rhetoric than math.Daily quizzes so you can't avoid going.Study the material a few days BEFORE he does it in class b/c he will expect you to.Tests are from hell - expect bonuses but don't expect to know them.Take ANYONE but him.People have made 0's on his tests.
If you can take anyone but this guy, do it. He expects you to show every little bit of your work, no matter how elementary. It's a lose-lose scenario. You either get the problems wrong and get a couple points or you get them right and get a couple points. Either way you'll get a C on most of the tests if you know exactly what you are doing.
Believe the rate my professors. I have never struggled in a math class, but you will in his. Not only is he hard, but he takes off for the smallest errors. I was forced to drop the class. At that time, our class average was a 56 (and this was after two tests). Take anyone but him.
This class was SO dumb. He makes mistakes in his lectures all the time, and has to be corrected. A lot of times he'll just go off on a tangent that has nothing to do with anything and will end up wasting class time. He NEVER gets done on time. His quizzes are killing my average in the class. He grades for TINY details, there is no partial credit
This is a serious reflection, directed to upcoming freshmen, on Mr. Parrot's MthSc 106 course... ONLY take this class if you have already taken Calculus in high school, are willing to attend EVERY Calc help session, and don't mind spending over 2 hours a day on reviewing what you went over in class-- which won't make much sense at all. Good luck.

If you don't mind taking tylenol before and after class, attend EVERY SI help session, and enjoy being condesended to, then this class is for you.
He really knows his material and is by far the best chalkboard writer ever. Students who just want an easy A in this course shouldn't take him. He is no easy teacher. But if you plan on LEARNING in this class then take him - he really knows his material- but be prepared for his daily quizzes and meticulous grading.
This guy is a moron. You will have a quiz pretty much daily and most likely a minute or two after the class is scheduled to be over. The quizes are sometimes based on the lecture that he just finished giving a few minutes before. You will hate this guy. Do not take this class. I am at summer school because this guy is an idiot.
He gives NO partial credit!! Read the ENTIRE book if you want to make a good grade in the class. Tests are tricky and are NEVER what is covered in class!!
he gives a quiz almost every class, normally on the material you just covered. if you actually want to pass calculus take someone else.
HE SUCKS. DONT TAKE HIM!
lots of quizes. hard teacher. don't take him unless you are really good at math or you are willing to put in lots of time to this class
Horrible teacher. Class was depleated to 5 students on the last day to drop classes.
This is the worst teacher EVER! He cared more about your sentences than he did if you understood the material. I didn't learn anything in his class.
He's horrible. Don't take him. He's the worst math teacher I've ever had. He also plays favorites.
I think he is great at teaching. Be sure to make your work on exams look exactly like his though! Towards the end of class he did seem to get caught up in theories, but overall he gives a lot of helpful examples.
hey was a really nice guy. he explained the material well. some things he was fuzzy on but if you asked him about it he would explain it. calculus itself is a hard subject but he teaches it to the best of his ability and is very limited because it is a departmental course. if i couldnt understand something i asked the TA or went to SI which helped.
Reads notes directly off a sheet of paper, and gets confused if you ask any questions. Will try to help you, but doesn't have a great understanding of concepts.
Let me just get straight to the point. I DROPPED HIM and went to a different professor! If u can find another professor, PLEASE DO!
He is probably the worst teacher I have ever had in my entire life. The man is a complete idiot and has no idea how to teach. The only reason I even went to class was for the labs, I never actually learned anything. Stay out of this class if at all possible, if you're not amazing in math already you will fail, or barely pass.
Awful, drop as soon as possible and get a new teacher. Its not worth failing the class because he doesn't know how to teach
I've had him twice, for 108 and 208 and he is the worst math teacher i've ever had. I've done much better in every math class i've ever taken except his
He writes ridiculously fast on the board, so if you can't go back over your notes and figure things out for yourself... definitely find a different teacher. He's also a strict grader and gives weekly quizzes, but he presents the material in a very simple, straight-forward way.
I had Mr. Parrot as my first math teacher at Clemson (206). He does tend to go a little fast through the material. However, his teaching style gets the point across. The only bad thing about him is that he is an extremely hard grader. My advice, just write everything on tests and quizzes and you'll get an A.
Mr Parrot does a good job deriving formulas and giving good examples. His tests are very similar to examples in class. The problem arrises when he grades the test. You can have every answer to the test correct and still receive an 80% in a test. He grades very difficult. I only recommend him you are particularly meticulous. This was my only B
Definitely the worst teacher I have had since being in Clemson. I won't even go into details of how bad he is, just avoid receiving him as an instructor by any means possible. Your probably better off with any teacher other than him if your taking Mthsc 207.
He is a very nice man, and he tries to help in every way possible. The way he grades in class assignments is insane. I have never had a teacher grade so hard.
Not a good teacher. Does not explain things well at all. Tutors taught it more clearly than he did. Grades assignments so hard! Boring in class. Not a fun class at all. Take someone else.
APCalc score of 4/5=Math106 credit. I got a 4 but took the class anyway to boost my GPA... NOT smart. Homework is on internet=mathlab=STUPID. If you don't know Calculus, GO TO A LOWER LEVEL. If u know Calc but are no overachiever, take your B/C in 108 not 106. VERY Nice man, not HORRIBLE prof though, not good at teaching things and def not easy A.
Mr. Parrott will come to class late every morning. At the beginning of the year, he stated that he would only teach for 20 minutes/class and the remaining time would be for working problems. He teaches 40-45 mins and expects you to finish worksheets in 5-10. He is an awful teacher. Avoid him at all costs.
I think he is a pretty good teacher. He goes through notes everyday, and I honestly have not had to open my textbook once. He gives us worksheets, typically on a daily basis, which are slightly difficult and I think that they are graded pretty hard.
This teacher is the worst i've had. Ever. I came into his class liking math, and now i hate every minute of it. I should have dropped it and gone my AP 5 credit instead of a C in this stupid class. You will be sorry if you do not drop this class.
I am good at calculus but this guy has a stick so far up his butt that he makes ridiculous corrections to legitimate answers. His online math is helpful but a time consumer if you are already a good calculus student. And will somebody please give a course on how to use that projector.
He's not a great teacher. Doesn't help you if you ask him a question after class. Grades hard. Hard to understand. Honestly, I wish I had chosen another prof.
awful teacher.
Some of the other reviews are drastic, but many are pretty on the dot. If you have taken a advanced level Calculus, and you do wind up getting Parrott, it's not the end of the world. You won't have to study much out of class, as it is a waste of time and won't help, except the few days before tests. If you haven't taken Calculus, don't take 106!
I used to manage math even though it was not my strong suit until entering this class. I wish I was able to have another professor. He is not a good teacher to have unless you have taken and are solid in calculus. My experience was not a pleasurable one at all.
Get out of that class while you still have the chance. The worst teacher I have ever had. The calculus notes I took in High school and the textbook were the only thing that made what he says comprehensible.
Parrot was awesome for mthsc108, I think it helped our TA and SI leader were helpful too but he does like to go past just stating the theory he said on like the 4th day of class that he takes GREAT interest in math and it shows, exams are departmentalized so i couldn't tell you if he makes hard tests but his daily work is pretty tough though.
Very Horrible teacher. He's very unclear and not able to teach.
You should be fine with this professor if you have had calculus BC in high school because the material will be familiar. But, Parrot focuses too much on the small details and fails to provide enough examples. And the examples he gives are easy. His class work is hard and the easy examples he provides then become useless.
The tests aren't awful, but he does grade them fairly harshly. He is also very monotone.
Some of the concept that are covered in this course are confusing and his lectures can sometimes be confusing, but if you even need help just talk to him and he will arrange a time to work with you. He is very helpful when u work one on one with him.
Mr. Parrot is one of the worst professors I have ever had. Parrot's examples in class are zero help on homework and tests. The class drags on with his monotone voice. Dropped the class due to dislike of Parrot. Switched to another professor and my grade shot up. Avoid at all cost.
MTHSC 108 is a difficult class and requires a lot of work, regardless of the professor. Despite that, Mr. Parrott is excellent at explaining problems and answering questions. I stopped by his office at least once a week for help and managed to get an A. Extremely helpful, definitely recommended. Also pretty good at in class explanations.
MTHSC206: Very challenging course. He doesn't explain the material clearly and expects you to understand it as easily as he does. His tests are VERY DIFFICULT, but do cover only material that you learn in class, reading the textbook is not mandatory. Attendance is mandatory. Take very good notes, you will use them. Homework is very easy.
Try's to be your best friend
The class was not the most interesting in the world, but Dr. Parrot will go out of his way to help you out on his own time. Only take this class if you're strong point is math. Tests were tough, but study the notes and practice tests and you should be fine.
Take this professor if you're taking Mthsc 206 or 208. Very helpful, will go out of his way to make sure you understand. Tests are very similar to material he shows in class. As long as you pay attention in class and take notes, passing this class should be fairly easy.
Took him for108 my freshman year and I dropped the class because I felt that his examples wern't enough like the exams. Turns out, 108 is standardized which is why the exams were so hard. But when I struggled through my 208 class with another professor he went out of his way to help me learn the material and pass the class!Amazing guy, helps a ton
Parrott is a fantastic teacher. He is constantly willing to help and made the material very easy to follow understand. I would highly recommend taking him for 208. Tests are exactly like the practice exams and material covered in class.
I'm taking Mr. Parrot right now, and he is a really good professor. His first test was very tough compared to the rest, but I think he was trying to cut down on some of the work he had to grade. He provides sample exams for each exam, and they are usually very similar to the actual test. If you want a good teacher for a tough class look no further.
Mr. Parrot is a great professor that goes out of his way to help students. If you don't understand something he says in class, email him or stop by his office. He is really good at explaining problems in different ways to help you understand the material. I am not good at math naturally, and have found Mr. Parrot to be extremely helpful.
Great teacher and funny guy! Keeps class interesting. Very helpful and willing to work with you. Sample exams for each test that are great and he usually had study session few nights before test. Homework isn't mandatory, usually gives a few in-class quizzes that can be hard, some with open notes. Very picky with grading, so always write sentences.
Dr. Parrot is one of the best math teachers that I've had. He wants his students to understand the material. He is very thorough and logical. However, his class is not easy.
Parrot is by far the best math teacher ive had over 4 calculus classes. He is very clear on how to do every individual variation of each problem type with example. Every exam problem was always very similar to something seen in class previously. He is very helpful, and answers all questions clearly. also, NO HOMEWORK. Great guy and great professor.
He is very specific on how test questions should be formatted.
Parrot clearly cares for his students, and will go the extra mile if you show interest or willingness to learn. He repeats fairly often and uses relatively few examples. Success in his class is ensured more by working practice problems, but some succeed without doing them. No homework is required. Ample opportunity to bring up bad test grades.
Great guy, humorous , loved to talk theoretical stuff with him. He does have a problem grading though. Leave out a plus sign -19 out of 20, miss the catch -16 out of 20. This guy will go out of his way to help you but I feared the red pen. Blanked and got a 30 on the final. So practice, practice, practice and you'll be good.
Parrot is extremely straight-forward with what you need to know, and his tests are pretty simple if you can work the example problems from class. He is a tough grader, though- show all of your work, or don't expect more than half credit on a question. He is extremely helpful during office hours, and (most importantly) there's no homework. Take him.
I was SO lost in his class. Nice guy but I never could understand one thing he went over. It was really discouraging because he doesn't give partial credit so even when I studied really hard and got some of it right, no points because it wasn't exactly right.
Ridiculously hard exams that are graded harshly. He does not round up or boost grades in any way.
Well boys and girls, I'd love to tell you he's an easy professor who loves teaching math, but only one of those is true. Honestly a great guy. Thoroughly enjoyed talking to him, but his tests are just ridiculously difficult. I kid you not, I got points deducted for having extra space in my work. I'm a math minor and I failed his 208 class.
Mr. Parrot is an alright teacher. He is very funny and can really crack you up when he tries to joke around. He gives examples, however, he differentiates too much and this takes away from class time. Overall, he is a good guy and I would recommend him only for a challenge.
Decent teacher. His lectures were fairly straightforward and he gave examples, but they were often very different than those on the tests. He was also a hard grader on quizzes. On the plus side, his webassigns were usually pretty painless. 1080 sucks no matter what professor you have. My advice, do every problem out of the book you possibly can
In a typical day, we'd spend most of the class going through a lengthy, hard-to-swallow proof, and after we'd get an easy example problem. Then a harder one, but by that time, usually the class was nearly over, so we wouldn't get that practice. It was always difficult to follow. Khan Academy saves your butt. Very nice person, not a great teacher.
Very nice and makes corny jokes but I wouldn't take. Sometimes we went over problems in class and the answer ended up being wrong at the end and then never knew how to solve it, that's the last thing you need in 108. Wasn't prepared for the tests that are the same for everyone in 108 regardless of section
He is TERRIBLE, avoid at all costs. I passed BC Calc in high school with a high A and I'm an engineering major, but I had to withdraw. He just taught us proofs we didn't need instead of actual calc 3, and he took points off on exams for things like not writing your answer in a complete sentence. I could go on and on but just don't take him!!!
DO NOT TAKE!!! I had to withdraw, which messed up my whole schedule. No matter how good you are at math, his grading is impossible. For the second exam I worked over 100 problems, and still managed to get a 50% even though all of my answers were correct. Grading is unreasonable. Save yourself the struggle!!!
Please for the love of God do not take him. I honestly can't even think of one positive aspect of his class. The weekly 2-question quizzes are impossible. You will spend days studying only to fail his exams. He gives absolutely no partial credit. No extra credit. No curve. His voice is unbearable. If you choose to ignore this, good luck!
He is one of the only teachers I've ever had who truly cares about his students and wants to help. THAT BEING SAID, he is by far the hardest grader I have ever had. I would take someone else if you don't do math the absolute textbook way. Got a 100 on the final based on answers, 88 in the grade book because of how specifically hard he grades.
Parrott is not a good professor. He is the type of guy to answer your question with a wrong answer. He is the type of guy to be a "good person, but not a good teacher." He is the type of guy to have an annoying voice, grade harshly on your correct answers, and make you hate a class when you love the subject. I have never worked harder. STAY AWAY.
Mr. Parrott was an incredibly sweet man. His lectures were very clear and specific. However, with his slow lectures and unorganized notes the class was pretty difficult. The concepts weren't bad, but there is no hw and a few examples. The worst part about Mr. Parrott is definitely his grading. He is extremely harsh and rarely gives partial credit.
Parrott has good intentions. He is really a nice guy, but his explanations of Calculus leave some to be desired. Lecture is basically just him going through a handful of problems from the book (which he often gets wrong having the class correct him). To get a good understanding of the material I had to watch another professor's online lectures.
Mr. Parrott is a nice guy - but not someone you want to grade your tests. He is incredibly particular about how you solve and format problems to the point where your grade nearly never reflects your understanding of the material. Great guy, but not a great prof - usually has a VERY high withdrawal/fail rate. Probably best to avoid to save your GPA.
Grades super specific yet cannot complete problems in class without mistakes.
Timothy Parrott is an extremely tough grader. He does not cover the material well in class, and expects you to teach yourself the material. The homework is not required, but you will not pass if you do not do it. He is not the most helpful teacher outside of class either, and is difficult to work with.
His exams are honestly not too hard, however that doesn't mean you'll do well. He will take 5/6 points off for arithmetic, so if you are not very meticulous and basically perfect, then don't expect an A. He is also a very slow grader. Will take 3+ weeks to grade exams and even longer to grade quizzes.
Parrott is so nice but I dont think he knows what partial credit is. I lost full credit on a problem because he factored out a negative and I didnt. He teaches the material pretty well, and the tests could be worse, but like I said, grading sucks. The first quiz we took, I had the right answers, but it wasnt his exact format so I got a 30%
Mr. Parrott is a nice guy, but his grading is a little absurd. The material wasn't really that difficult but if it isn't EXACTLY how he wants it you will lose a lot of partial credit. He does not curve at all, and I believe it is even stated in his syllabus. Proceed with caution.
I know so many people that didn't like Mr. Parrott, but I genuinely enjoyed the class and him as a prof. He was a harsh grader if you didn't follow his format, but if you played by his rules, you will get a good grade. I promise. His tests are designed to see if you can do moderate-level problems in the way he taught. Do the practice probs to study
Absolutely a great professor, he does grade tough but you will learn the material. I would highly recommend and would take his class again. He is a little odd at first but he does lots of examples and tells you exactly what he expects.
Mr. Parrott is a very nice man but can be quite confusing in class- his notes can get jumbled and he's pretty monotone. Pay attention to the format he wants in his answers and do the homework and you'll do fine on the quizzes. Ask plenty of questions and try to not skip class- quizzes are weekly but may be more frequent, and attendance is counted.
Great guy, he makes some great little jokes, but hard class if you havent taken calc before, go to office hours
He is honestly the worst teacher I have ever had. He grades extremely tough and picky and flies through examples without actually explaining anything. His lectures are more like him talking himself through problems as opposed to actually teaching. I refuse to take him again for 2060. I strongly suggest you find another professor.
Parrott is not personable and is an overly mean grader. Be prepared for thrown together one question quizzes that you get either a 100 or a 0 on (doesn't give partial credit). It's possible to do okay in here if you watch youtube videos and attend PAL sessions weekly. But if not be ready for a letter grade or two below what you normally expect.
He is a nice guy but gets confused every 5 minutes!!! He is not very clear with his directions but he will mark you off 10 points for missing a period. He is always behind and does not finish his lectures. The class is a mess. Take it with anyone else!!!
Whatever you do do NOT take Parrott for Calc 3. He grades his exams either all or nothing, zero partial credit, despite the fact that he makes the same minor slip ups on examples during class that students make on tests. So by his own standard he'd be making 30s on his own exams. Disengaging in his lectures and is just not a good teacher.
If you take his class expecting to learn something, you are in the wrong section. Every lecture is him confusing himself as his students having to basically tell him what to do and catch his (many) errors. His grading makes absolutely no sense, and he has taken points off of an assignment because my equal signs were on the wrong side. DONT TAKE HIM
This dude flat out sucks. I'm not gonna sugarcoat it. Expect homework that takes upwards of 1.5 hours every night. Exams are brutal and he barely gives out partial credit and never any curves. He gets sidetracked all the time in class and you don't learn anything you just scramble to write it down. He means well, but it's not worth it in the end.
-10/10 He laughs when students ask questions, is awful at explaining methods, and has been my worst professor at Clemson. He does not allow open notes, note sheets, or calculators on quizzes or exams, unlike other professors. Made us buy another MLM code despite the one from 1060/1080 still working and didnt help with refunds. DO NOT TAKE HIM.
Bottom line, do not take Professor Parrott for any calc class if you can avoid it. He grades exams like an english paper. Didnt put a sentence at the end explaining your answer? Wrong. Half the time students have to correct him on his math because he does it wrong. He gives no partial credit and no cheat sheet or calc like other calc 3 profs.
Avoid. Hes a nice man, but it's literally impossible to get a decent grade in his class unless you're a protectionists because he barely gives partial credit. You could have the right answer on a test but he'll take off majority of the points because you forgot to write a sentence at the end. Please save your GPA and take another prof.
I dont understand why everyone dislikes Mr. Parrott so much. He is a tough grader, but it teaches you to be careful in the future so you can actually learn and grow in his class. As with any class, youll have to put in some effort, but his tests are very fair and very derivative of his notes. Do some extra practice problems and youll be fine
Mr. Parrott gets a lot of poor reviews because of his strict grading, but if you pay attention in class and complete the tests like he asks you to, you will do fine in his class. He is a very nice guy. Very dry humor. He lays out his expectations very clearly and if you take him, you will end the class with a good understanding of the material.
If you like someone who teach math by examples rather than theorems/proofs, he's for you. Only bad thing is a strict exam grader, but he prepares you well for them. He really just loves math and wants his students to love it. If you put in the work you'll do fine.
I would not recommend taking him for any math class. He was constantly correcting his work during class by students but would expect us to be perfect on every assignment. You have to write a sentence answer for every math problem even if the answer is clear from your work. He gives pop quizzes every week over something you learned weeks ago.
He's a good person, he made his class interesting and engaging. He is a tough grader though, kinda expects more than work than is necessary, also don't expect curved grades at all.
He gets distracted easily and is constantly having to correct his own work. He also assigns homework on the weekend to be due on Saturday and/or Sunday.
This professor is the laziest professor I have ever had. He waits to make homework available until the week of the exam causing unnecessary stress and time constraints. He does not follow university policy regarding mask use and puts students at risk by not enforcing mask policy. The learning and grades were not the issue it was everything else.
Professor Parrott's Lectures are well organized and he explains concepts well. But the MyLabMath homework assignments are insufferable and you'll need PhotoMath to do a lot of it. Quizzes can be difficult. You also have to write out a sentence that finalizes your answer EVERY TIME. Overall, he's a good teacher, but his tests/quizzes are horrible.
He is not organized AT ALL. does not prepare his students well enough for the exams, as most of the exams require you to do everything in a condensed amount of time than what you are used to doing the quizzes in his class. would not reccomend.
I don't have any clue what my grade is in this class and we are a few weeks from ending the semester. Mr.Parrott actively avoids grading assignments and you could learn that you are failing in the last week of the class. Its insane how little he cares about his students and you should build your entire schedule around avoiding this class.
Mr. Parrott makes Calc 4 way harder than it has to be. He is very impulsive and springs homeworks, quizzes, and even exams on us with very short notice. He even moved our first exam 12 hours before we were supposed to take it. He does, however, offer a 10pt bonus question on exams, so although he is a nightmare, his class shouldn't wreck your GPA.
Dr. Parrott often gets confused about what he is teaching to begin with. He gets a lot of the example problems wrong during class and it makes it very hard to follow. If you do have him, you're better off teaching yourself with the textbook.
Going into Calc 4, I was scared because of some of the reviews about Parrott, but I felt like he was a good professor. His lectures can get really boring super quickly, so it is tough to constantly pay attention in class. He will test you on every single thing he talks about, so be prepared for that. Overall, Parrott is a decent professor to me.
I feel like people hate on Parrott a bit too much. Sure he's got some flaws, but I enjoy his relaxed vibe while he's lecturing. Get used to professors taking points off for missing a dx, that's not just him. His lectures can be a little slow at times but it's not THAT slow. ALWAYS be prepared for a pop quiz. There's at least one or more every week.
Remarkably disorganized for such a tenured professor; his notes overcomplicated concepts and he got sidetracked with his mistakes or off-topic discussions daily. His tests were never on the day scheduled in the syllabus, and took no less than 3 weeks to grade. HW was always assigned last minute (like 2 days to do 8 sets type stuff). AVOID HIM!!!
Expect to be tested on everything he mentions. Make sure you write everything on the test EXACTLY the way he showed. He plays, "terrorize the students" where he drops his finger on the attendance sheet and then asks a random graded question. Positive note, he usually cancels class once every two weeks and gives everyone extra time on tests. Avoid.
