Great instructor w/ a sense of humor. Explains new concepts well. Take this MS A+ cert class in a full semester format-summer session too short to absorb all the material.

Very clear and articulate instructor (don't be late to class!!). Work is straight-forward and lectures are not boring. Great sense of humor, doesn't digress as much as many teachers do.

Took the A+ CIS 120 class and believe it or not, he didn't bore me!!! Good sense of humor, and nice work load balance. Just show up to class, read the book, do the labs, keep notebook up to date, and you'll get a lot out of it.

Mr.Phillips is an outstanding teacher. Very helpful and knows his materrial. He was always there to answer any question you may have. It was a true pleasure attending his class and fun too. Wish we had more teachers like him.

A very good teacher who is dedicated to his students. He makes learning interesting and easy. He has a good sense of humor and always answers questions to the best of his ability. In my opinion he is the most qualified for teaching a networking class. Definetly a good experience for all.

Easy class, lots of reading from a boring text. I guess he is willing to help but I never really needed his help much. Take this class with him if you want an online class, he is very lenient. The 3 on campus meetings are annoying and long, but its worth it.

This teacher is very good teacher. If you don't talk about computrs, he'll start talking about his dog. Labs are too laid back, lets people go. One other thing, don't over talk him if another student asks about other classes or computers. Thats why he the teacher is teaching the class. Thanks. Overall, very intelligent person.

Mr. Phillips is a wonderful teacher. He is greatly knowledgeable about the subject. He is very easy to communicate with and very understanding. He is very helpful with what ever relevant help is needed. He treats students as adults, therefore, he gives you an option to stay and learn if you want to.

Very fast paced class. Good lectures. Treats people like adults. Good sense of humor. Willing to help anytime you ask. BUT don't expect him to hold your hand- you need to be able to make the decision on your own to come to him for help (part of that being treated like an adult thing).

Excellent Instructor!! I took this class online and breezed right through it. He gives you plenty of chances to do online quizzes and basically gives you the test questions to study. It has been a pleasure to study under this teacher and I highly recommend him!!!

This was one of my favorite classes that i've taken this year. Anyone who wants to work on computers for a living, i highly recommend taking this class by Mr. Phillips.

Tim Phillips is a natural teacher. He treats students with respect, inspires confidence in the subject area, is clear about what needs to be learned, and promotes a delightful, non-threatening atmosphere for enjoyable learning and for student interaction and cooperative learning. I am currently registered for 2 more courses with Tim.

If you want to be entertained and learn at the same time, you'll want to take this class. Tim knows how to keep the class fun. If you want you're A+ Certification, I'd suggest enrolling in his class. You are sure to figure out if you have a true interest or not. I would recommend the actual class vs. online. New building and a lab every week.

Extremely cool teacher, every class i've had with him (3 or 4 now) has been fun and actually kept me entertained. I find it hard to pay attention in other classes but Tim keeps me rapt. His unusual teaching technique (fun!) actually helps to focus and direct the class and makes you retain the information you need.

I can tell you, Tim is one of the best teachers I’ve ever had in college. He makes learning in class extremely fun, and in his case, the class clown is standing up in front of the class. He has a wild sense of humor, and is very well qualified for what he teaches. A must for anyone who needs or wants to take computer related classes.

I've really enjoyed Tim's CIS 105 class. He inserts humor in his lectures and keeps you interested in the material. Even though you need to read the chapters, he covers most of the info in class and allows time in Lab for you to ask ?'s and complete homework. It was great having him for an instructor.

Kept lectures interesting. Labs, quizzes, and tests exactly as explained and expected. Grading extremely fair - will always give the student the benefit of the doubt.

In my situation, he is a reminder of what college professor is usually like, what with the freedoms non-existent in high school & all (yes, I'm a teen---deal with it). He jokes around with the notion that a bunch of nerds were smoking joints & thought it was cool to make computer-based electronics in certain ways---it's not funny because of drugs.

When talking to the class, his words are like something someone that one would want to hear; in one-on-one discussion, that's pretty much your only chance for hearing what you need to hear (assuming your conversation goes that way). Thanks, Mr. Phillips; that talk made me rethink my future (perks of being a college teen, stereotypically speaking).

Tim was my first college teacher, and I gotta say i couldn't have been more fortunate. He is hilarious, even in a four hour lecture. I didn't have a clue about computers when i first walked in, and now i know the inside of a computer like the back of my hand. He kept things simple and to the point, he has tons of life experience, and hes awesome.

Tim is the best online professor who you can choose; he is always there and his assignments may be somewhat tedious, but easy. I had user interface problems with my Mac & Excel interactions and I e-mailed him and he helped me resolve. This was my first time taking an online course and I was scared. This is feasible as long as you manage your time!!

This class was 100% online. When there were a few blackboard or software glitches, Tim Phillips, make sure it was corrected. So the class ran smoothly. Tim Phillips gave excellent instructions and chose the best parts of each subject for us to study. If we got something wrong, we had a chance to improve. We could also work ahead on the assignments.

Mr. Phillips is a great and caring teacher who gives good feedback. This is the second class I have taken with him, also took A+ with him. He wants he students to succeed, as long as you show up do the homework then its a easy A. He is clear what he wants, emails you back quickly, and is organized. Would take again in a heartbeat!

What a great class. I learned so much without realizing it. The material isn't hard and I got so much out of it. Tim chooses the material based on what is best for the student to learn. He is also helpful in guiding students in order to meet their personal goals . The LabSim labs along with the hands-on labs made it a great learning experience.
