He is the best teacher, definitely my favorite one this semester! I actually look forward to going to this class because he makes it so interesting and funny! He is very cool and laid back, but takes grading seriously, so if you pay attention and do everything he asks you should make a good grade. No tests, only essays! DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!

Great teacher, but really tough class. Very helpful you just have to ask.

Great professor! He doesn't give any tests, but you do have to write 4-5 papers and have a final exam. However, he explains the requirements for each paper very well and spends a lot of class time making sure that you understand each topic. He encourages you to take advantage of his office hours and is extreemely helpful!

My favorite professor this semester! Definitely take him if you have the chance. He is super helpful and friendly, and gives grades that are deserved based on effort. He takes the time to get to know his students, and I don't mind going to his class.

1301 is a tough class, but Regetz makes it easier. This is your professor to take if you are taking 1301 because he will actually teach you how to write papers. Do yourself a favor and don't do the final exam essay in class because you will not finish it completely. Follow the outlines when writing papers, those will get you at least a B.

Amazing professor. His class can be a bit hard, but that comes naturally with the course. Truly loves to write and see what others have to say, and was always willing to help. He is incredibly smart and knowledgeable which is why he is good at helping you if you are struggling. Highly recommend.

He's prett awesome. The articles he assigns are really interesting and his lectures fly by. He's willing to work with you on deadlines and will proofread your papers and help you with ideas. You'll get an A if you do all the work and actually try. Oh and he's hilarious

I have so much respect for this guy. He was so helpful, he will proof read your papers and help you on anything you need help with. He doesn't give any "tests" only papers, so if you aren't a good writer then probably wouldn't take him. A tougher grade but if you ask him for help, you will do just fine. Really don't need the textbook!

As a person who tends to pick the easiest professors possible, it was very different of me to re-enroll in 1302 with Regetz. Excellent teacher, would take again, entertaining, greatfast feedback, fair, funny, and just a genuine guy.

Mr. Regetz is awesome. He takes the time to make sure you understand the material. He gives very good feedback on papers and rough drafts and teaches you to be a better writer. He grades fare and is always available to explain to you why you made a certain grade and how to improve for next time. If given the opportunity, I would take him again.

He's a great professor. If I was confused or just wanted to talk about my papers I would stay after class and he would help me. He actually likes teaching and likes helping his students.

Creates a familiar atmosphere that combines professional and friendly; makes great jokes and will chat with people before class. Clear learning material, good at direct feedback, and seems to care about our well-being in his class. He grades fairly and by the book. I would take the class again.

Perfect balance of learning and having fun. Mr Regetz is hilarious and you can tell he enjoys his job. His grading is tough but he is more than willing to help with any essays. Super nice guy and is very lenient within the classroom. Would definitely take again for 1302. Overall loved this class!

Regetz is a great professor. His lectures are straight forward and he makes expectations for papers crystal clear. 1301 is not the most interesting class, but Regetz makes it a lot more bearable. He gives good feedback on papers and will explain what you did wrong and how to improve. You will not regret taking his class.

Regetz is a great professor. He has a goofy sense of humor and makes you want to come to class. Super easy, you take grammar quizzes and write essays. Only 3 big essays which is good for a whole semester and he is willing to help you with anything you need. I would definitely recommend.

prof regetz is the best english teacher ive ever had. no tests (except the mid term which is super easy) but he does give three papers. I didnt make an A on any of the papers and still managed to get an A in the class. hes super funny, super laid back and i have never seen a teacher be more there for his student. TAKE REGETZ

Tough Tough grader. I took him for both 1301 and 1302. Took every paper of mine to the writing center and had my journalism major roommates look over all my papers and I never made above a C+

TAKE HIM! Mr. Regetz and his class is the only thing I liked about Blinn. I never liked English either, but Regetz made things easier for me to understand. I took him for both 1301 and 1302 and my writing has improved, however I ended up with an 88 in both classes. If you're trying to transfer, he'll also help you write and edit your essays!

Very funny and not boring! He is very helpful if you ask him a question. As long as you do what you're supposed to do, it should be fine. The only homework really is reading articles.

I loved having him for a teacher and he's really good at being specific about what he wants paper wise and when things are due. He takes plenty of grades and the essays are pretty easy to do well on if you follow the guidelines. Regetz is an awesome teacher and I'm taking him again next semester!

Great professor

Great professor, and great person. His class is *NOT* easy but his course is beyond worth it. Having a professor that will work with you and wants you to succeed is invaluable. I always pick the easier routes with professors, but I chose to retake him for 1302 because he's that dope. Nobody likes going to BLINN, but he makes it bearable.

Easiest English Class I've ever taken! I took the summer course of 1302, we spent a week on each: Poetry analysis, short story analysis, and Othello. Grades included 10 quizzes that are super easy: incorporating quotes into sentences, 3 essays: analyzing literary elements in each topic, 5 homeworks, and the final. He's great, funny and chill.

Taking the Fall class and I think that he's been a great Prof. so far. Explains things very well, gives good feedback, and even helps you during quizzes. Overall awesome Prof.

He's a great prof who is super engaging and funny. He really makes an effort to connect and help students in any ways he can. The papers can be graded tough but you can easily make a high grade due to easy quizzes, tests, and homework assignments. Highly recommend this class!

I only dropped this class because I just didn't care enough at this time to complete an English class. He is a great professor, obviously loves teaching his students

Professor Regetz was great! He took time to make sure you understood his lectures. When writing any of the 3 essays hegiras plenty of class time and helps you to work step by step with your essay. He will gladly look over an aspect of your paper and give constructive criticism. Would definitely take again!

I took Regetz for 1301 and 1302. 1301 was simple and really easy, clear instructions on how he would like your essays written. He also gives you an extra week if you need to fix your paper but that only once. For 1301 and 1302 there are 10 quizzes, 2 exams including the final. He is definitely a professor to take!

Don't take anybody else for English! My favorite professor so far at Blinn. He makes the lectures interesting and tells you exactly how you need to write your essay in order to do well. As long as you do what he tells you to do you will get an A - and bonus: hot as a biscuit!

By far my favorite English Teacher. If you pay attention in class and do your work you'll have no problem getting an A. He makes his lectures really interesting and he's very clear on how he wants his essays written. We took quizzes pretty often but they're all open book so its an easy A. Highly recomend taking Regetz as a teacher.

TAKE THIS CLASS!! Me. Regetz was by far my favorite professor this semester. Hes pretty easy going, helps a lot if needed and gives really good feed back. Only had to write 3 essays all semester with weeks to write them. He gives lots of notes to help you write the essays, 10/10 recommend!

Mr. Regetz is an easy class to pass if you put in the work. His lectures are entertaining and embedded with jewels of information. One of the best things about his teaching style is that he gives very clear directions on assignments. The only difficult part of the class is Regrez's grading. Regetz will "make the page bleed".

Mr Regetz is a great Prof. There are three essay's,10 quizzes, he reviews for them before you take them most of the time, some he gives for homework if the lecture goes long. 5 homework grades which is your rough draft of essays + for the research paper you meet him in his office which is one of the HW grades. If u need help ask. Take this class.

Best English teacher I've had!

Regetz is an amazing professor. ENGL 2311 is a tough course as it is so it is hard to base him off of that. He really cares about your understanding of the course material and will go over it as many times as you need. He is a great professor!

Took his 1301 class and hopefully will be able to take him again. Hands down one of the best professors Ive had so far. He took the time to clearly explain every assignment and answer any questions i had. Super understanding! If you put in the work and effort, it doesnt go unnoticed and will pay off. Changed my major because of this class.

Prof. Regetz was a great teacher for Tech Writing. I took his 8 week course this past sem, and throughout the whole thing, he was nothing but gracious. He is willing to work with you & likes when you ask questions in & outside of class time. Course consisted of 3 projects, a formal report, and discussion boards. Put in the work & you will be fine.

This professor was my first and best college professor. He is an incredible teacher, gives great feedback, and literally taught me how to write. He is interesting to listen to, and he gives tests that relate to the content he teaches. Regetz is strict about participation, but if you show willingness to work, it will not go unnoticed.

I loved having Regetz as a teacher this semester. He does grade kinda hard on the essay and wont ever figure out how he grades them. There were 3 essays total so all I gotta say is be prepared to read.

I really enjoyed Mr. Regetz's class. He is a nice/caring person always willing to help his students even outside of the classroom. Not many exams were given, but we need have weekly quizzes (those were not bad). Overall, we wrote 3 essays but it wasn't too difficult. I would definitely take his class:)

Very kind & highly passionate professor. He came to our school for classes 2 days out of the week. Lectures were kinda boring since it was just white& black PowerPoint slides he discussed. He is a semiharsh grader but is WILLING to and LOVES to help out, Im just embarrassed to ask. Very kind. Had him for both 1301& 1302,2-3 essays &a research paper

Professor Regetz was the first english class i took in person. He was very helpful along the way. Be prepared to write a very long and extensive formal report for your final paper, but overall he is pretty funny and I enjoyed his class.

This is a tough class BUT Prof. Regetz is willing to help you!! He grades pretty tough but he provides tons of feedback which helps you improve on your next essay. He is super nice and very helpful with giving feedback and helping you write essays. He really wants you to succeed but you have to put in the work to pass the class.

I was his student, he used to correct my grammar back at the beginning of the semester but when I gave him my final project he seems to be impressed and he appreciated what I have done by saying ''this seems to be pretty good compared to the past essays you've ever had '' men he gave me a C on that essay!!! I can't explain how I felt that day.

Timothy Regetz was a great professor. He grades very heavy, but he gives tons of feedback. Ask him for help and he will help you with whatever you need. Funny guy, but lectures can be quite boring sometimes.

I took Professor Regetz a while ago in highschool for a dual credit class that counted for college. He was honestly amazing and inspired me as a writer. Yes he was a tough grader but he holds high expectations and helps you to improve your skills.

Dr. Regetz is an amazing teacher. He is a tough grader, but it is a composition class, so hypothetically it should be expected. I went to his office hours for just about every essay, and he would help me go through, edit, and make the changes that were needed. If you show up and take advantage of his office hours, this class is a very easy A.

Very strict when grading essays but is a great professor. Easily accessible outside of class and very understanding of any situation you are in. Allows you to take 1 extension on an essay of your choice. Very helpful while you write your essays and gives great feedback or even helps find sources that can work for your essay.

He is such a good teacher. The negative reviews probably just didn't do the work lol. We wrote our papers in class for three days, which is plenty of time. And, because it's in class, he graded a lot easier. There are 2 quizzes that count for participation, and the essays are what the majority of the grades are. He is amazing, and so kind!

Take him!!! He is such a great teacher He will tell you to read the textbook before class, but you don't have to because he reads what he assigned us to read during the lecture period. He will read 2-3 essays in the class that will go towards writing about one of them in your essay so take notes over at least one bc you can use notes on the essay.

Professor Regetz is my goat. All you have to do is write papers and understand MLA citations and you'll be fine. He doesn't assign much and you are given class time to write the papers. If you ask him about what to write/look for, he will help you 100% and lead you in the right direction. 10/10 professor, I'd give him all the money in my wallet.
