Jones has a lot of knowledge that she is excited about. If you don't share that zeal for science and its wonderful mysteries then you won't like her. She wants you to think and she wants to talk about everything because she loves it. Read the book.

I took this class online. Her lectures were very good, and the tests online are very easy as long as you take the pre tests in the study area first. The midterm and final are very difficult. Even so, if you maintain an A average on the online tests, you can still pass with a decent overall grade even if you do poorly on the midterm and final.

Mrs. Jones is an excellent teacher! She really knows what shes talking about and explains it very well. She is very passionate about her work and cares for the students. She can easily pick out the ones who slack off and those that truly work hard. So always show up to class and work hard and shell go above and beyond to help you out.

Mrs. Jones is an exceptional instructor. Any questions you may have she can answer. The first day of class was awkward because no one would talk to her. Most of us quickly "Warmed Up" to her so to speak. She is very easy to talk to. You will work for your grade and the hardest part I'd say are the pop tests after each lecture. Study or fail.

Physical book isnt needed as she attaches an online version to online work. Quizzes and tests are very difficult. Lab attendance is mandatory to pass the class. Use her quizlets!

I had been putting off taking biology but Mrs. Jones gave us so many study tools with her videos and quizlets, it made biology almost fun! Study the quizlets, watch the videos. If she tells you something is important, you can bet it will be on the the test!

When it comes to having Mrs. Jones as my biology teacher, I think of her as a second chance of me passing this class. Now, even though she gave me a warning about one of the modules that I just finished early before any student and turn it in for the second time, late, she still manages me to keep going and hope for the best. She works late, too, which means she was available to answer my questions when I was working - sometimes immediately at midnight! The textbook in this class is free and built in to Canvas. The lab is online and also free. You don't have to purchase an access code. There are weekly virtual labs and quizzes and then you have a midterm and a final. They are worth 50% of the course (labs are 25% and quizzes are 25%). Mrs. Jones was always very helpful.

The class is set up the same way as 101, so it is much easier because I am used to everything. She uses the free textbook in 102. Labs, activities, and quizzes are also free. Mrs. Jones' Bio 101 online was a good class. Everything you needed to do the class was contained in Canvas (didn't have to buy an access code). We had a module due each week and there were a total of 12 modules, each had a quiz and most had a lab. She drops your lowest lab score and lowest two quiz scores. I took this class online and it was very organized. Lots of long lecture videos and reading. The book was helpful but lectures had way too much info. The textbook was free online and she wrote most of the labs herself. The quizzes and tests are very difficult and very specific however the labs were easy and you could re-work them for better grades.

Quizzes were difficult, the exams were VERY specific. A LOT OF INFO. Must make your own study guide for exams. About 8-12 videos per module, which would take HOURS to watch them all. She was nice, professional, and responded in a timely manner. Nothing wrong with her personally, the class was just very difficult and super time-consuming.
