Great Teacher, Fun Class!

Loved her. She knows her stuff, shes funny, and you will want to be involved in class. Tests can be hard but she always gives a study guide!

Prof Kibbe was great!! Very easy teacher. If you come to class then there is a possibility that there will be extra credit problems for the test, sometimes to even boost your grade up a whole leter grade. I loved this class.

easy class, never went except for tests and a few random days, just get notes and memorize whats on the study guide, but she leavin Lamar before Fall 06

One of the best teachers I have ever had. She gives 4 quizzes 1 test one final and 2 book reports. Just show up and you'll get bonus points like crazy. great and easy grader. Her class requires some work but she makes her lectures very interesting. Take Her!!!!!!!!

Awesome teacher! Probably the best history teacher I've ever had. She gave two book reports, 3 tests, and a final. She reviewed for the tests the class before and the review told you actually what you needed to study. Her lectures and notes are interesting and very easy to follow. Recommend her for any history class.

Amazing professor! For 1301 You have 6 writing assignments which are fairly easy. Her essays for the test are comprehensive but managable. she gives out bonus questions like crazy. But don't be late to her class she will not be happy at all. Easy class to make an A. MUST TAKE! will be taking her for 1302 also.

Dr. Kibbe is probably the best professor I've had thus far. If you like history need the credit, take her. Just be prepared to take notes. She gives 4 quizzes (drops the lowest grade), 1 test, 1 final, and 2 book reviews (make sure you at least skim through them). I made an A on everything and missed five questions the whole semester.

I love her! She is an amazing professor, clearly explains the material and is very helpful. Lenient grader but DON'T PLAGERIZE, she will remind you of this repeatedly. . Be there and you will get bonus questionspoints as well for credit. Easy class and easy A. 2 book reviews, 4-6 quizzes, 1 midterm and the final.

She's funny, always ready to help you out. She gives a lot of extra credit. Very easy on marking your works, exam, essays and book reviews... Her classes are very interesting and informative with power point presentation

Dr. Kibbe is an amazing professor who clearly has a passion for history. I would recommend taking her for 1301 and 1302!

Really nice and very interesting. She is not boring in the slightest and she usually won't make you remember dates, which is great in history. Gives extra credit for showing up, which is great! She hates tardy people but still lets them in. Only issue with her class are the writing assignments. The books are so boring and the papers very long.

I LOVED this class. She got me interested in history & I will never regret taking her class. She teaches in a story-telling fashion and adds humor to make it more interesting. This class was so amazing. I was actually disappointed if I missed her class. Her teaching style is fantastic and inspiring. I've even considered changing my major because of Dr. Kibbe. DO NOT HESITATE TO TAKE HER! SHE IS AWESOME.

Kibbe is the best teacher I've ever had. She makes lectures tolerable and at one point in my semester I wanted to change my major to History. When she feels like no one is in the class she gives extra credit. Which is a lot of the time. 5 quizzes and 2 tests, if you listen they will never be hard. Puts power points on black board.

She a very nice and good professor. She assign two essay to do along with the books, but it very easy. She always give study guide for quizzes, mid-term, and final exam. Don't have to come to class, but she give extra credit if are in class. (a lot of extra credit)

Kibbe was a great professor. She made learning fun and easy, and I hate history. TIPS: study/review for supplemental readings (those kicked my butt), pay attention in class (it's not hard), and be there for review day (she basically tells you everything on the test). 2 book readings but only one required book report. Overall great class!

Best professor I had all year, she graded fairly and you could easily pass the tests if you payed attention in class. All of her lectures were clear and while attendance was not mandatory she gave extra credit on days where few people showed up.

Dr. Kibbe is a fantastic professor! She definitely knows history well and makes sure her students know it too. If you attend class regularly, then you don't have to read the textbook, but she does require you to read one or two books dealing with the class and follow it up with a book report over a certain topic. Overall an amazing teacher.

Took her as a summer class & thought I would make a D in her class, but ended up with an A. Explains everything throughly. Uses words we will understand.

Dr Kibbe is pretty awesome. Attendance was not mandatory, but show up and she give you extra credit. Exam are mostly from lecture and her powerpoint helps. She does give out two essay assignment, but their easy. Overall her class is easy to pass and she gives out a lot of extra credit. I would take her class again.

Show up to class and she basically gives you all the answers to the quizzes and tests. You do need to read a lot though. She gives extra credit when not many show up, so come to class often.

She's such a great professor that i HAD to take her again for HIST 1302. She knows 100% what she's teaching! Has great power points/lectures! Attendance not mandatory, but she will give extra credit on random days if you do come, so go often! Tests and quizzes are very easy because she has great reviews and basically gives you the answers! EASY A!

It's really easy as long as you show up and take notes. She's really relaxed, cracks jokes and the quizzes are simple as long as you've actually show up and listen. There are RANDOM attendance grades, so show up. She had two written assignments for our class, two pages double spaced, as long as you aren't copy-pasting then you're good to go.

She is by far my favorite professor I have had so far. Her syllabus is extremely thorough with due dates for every assignment. She is pretty laid back as long as people show up on time. She hates when people are late. She grades fairly, and the only homework are 4-5 short online quizzes and a couple essays. TAKE HER!

I love going to this class, it is the highlight of my week. Kibbe makes the material relevant and easy to remember, the quote "#offwithhishead" springs to mind. She gives beautiful reviews. Her tests just want to know that you understand why events happened, so don't spend the whole time memorizing every date she mentions. Just follow the review!

Kibbe is amazing! If you show up and actually pay attention there is no way you should not make a good grade. Her lectures are fun and engaging. You really get to focus on the important parts of history and not just the tiny details of dates and whatnot! Also, her reviews are so helpful. I still have to take 1302 and I hope I can get her!

Ms. Kibbe makes history easy and fun to learn. She puts an overview of what event or person she is talking about on the screen and goes into detail while speaking about it. I haven't ever liked history or been good at it and I am making a high A. If you do the review for the midterm and final, there is no reason you shouldn't make an A.

I. Love. Kibbe. She is a talented professor and speaker. She knows her stuff and always has the class laughing. Attendance is not mandatory, but I never want to miss a lecture because she makes history so interesting. She also gives many extra credit opportunities. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

This professor is hilarious. Every time she says something such as "what the H" the entire class is rolling. Her quizzes and tests are super easy if you pay attention. Her powerpoints are well made. Attendance isn't mandatory but I've never missed a class or wanted to. I have already recommended her to many friends and this semester isn't even over

I'm also currently in Kibbe's 1301 class and there are no pop quizzes. The quizzes are on the syllabus and she practically tells you everything that's on them. There is also a ton of extra credit so if your not making a good grade its your own fault. Kibbe is an awesome professor. I'm taking her again for 1302.

Gives plenty of extra credit, just show up to class. Great lectures, super sweet lady. Really wants her students to succeed. Very helpful with quizzes and test, basically gives us the information. 5 quizzes and 2 test with 1 writing assignment for the semester. Love her to death.

She's a really good professor and cares about what the students think about her class. There is a lot of textbook reading to understand what the lectures will be on. Also talk to her about the show "Scandal" to get on her good side wink wink. She doesn't grade harshly and offers extra credit on tests. Also give surprise extra credit for attendance

Dr. Kibbe really know her stuff. She covers the material thourouly, and lectures in a way that is easy to understand. Her lectures are not boring, and she has a good sense of humor. Her quizzes are not difficult. Gives excellent reviews for midterm and final. Gives attendance extra credit point. Really enjoyed her class. Would take her again.

I LOVE TINA KIBBE. She is my favorite professor so far in my college career. Please ignore all negative comments about her. The writing assignment is SUPER easy. I don't like history very much and I made an A. You take a midterm, a final and 4 quizzes. TONS of extra credit. 10/10 would take again. I have recommended her to people all semester.

Dr. Kibbe's class is very easy to make an A in. She makes sure her lectures and instructions are clear. She makes the class interesting. She gives lots of extra points and gives you hints about what will be on the tests and quizzes. As long as you show up and pay attention, you'll do well. I would definitely take her again.

Professor Kibbe is without a doubt the best history teacher you could ask for. Her lectures are awesome she always lets you know what's on the tests. She also has tons of extra credit so there's no reason why anyone gets lower than an "A".

I took Dr. Kibbe for HIST1301&1302 a year ago. She's so passionate about her topic & an amazing professor that you leave her course gaining an admiration for HIST even if you hated it. I learned more in one of her courses than in all those yrs of H.S. AP HIST. Go to class extra credit points & reviews. Very personable & relatable. Best prof 4 HIST

Love Kibbe! Go to class, you will love her lectures and sometimes she'll give extra credit just for showing up! She is very funny and passionate. Highly recommend! Only one essay for the whole semester. I stopped reading the textbook after the first week and I still made As on the tests, but get the books because one will be used for an essay!

Loved Kibbe! She's very easy to talk to & not a difficult grader at all. Read all her powerpoints & you'll do fine. Attendance is not taken but sometimes she'd give EC just for showing up on low-attendance days. Exams were mult choice & pretty easy if you read all her notes. Don't recall using the book much except to write the paper.

Attendance was not required, however extra credit is given often when the class size drops. She made history interesting and was always ready to help. The quizzes are easy and she drops the lowest one. I highly recommend her!

Pretty easy because of all the extra credit. 5 quizzes, 1 essay, midterm, and a final. Test and quiz questions can be tricky, so study and you'll be fine. Gives extra credit for going to class some days. She's a good teacher and keeps lecture interesting but can be sarcastic to students and a litte sassy sometimes, but overall great choice.

I highly recommend Mrs. Kibbe. Her lectures are clear and easy to understand. The quizzes are multiple choice and simple as long as you paid some attention in class. There are days that shell give you bonus points just for showing up. Shes a very sweet lady and her lectures are somewhat entertaining. She makes some funny jokes.

Awesome Professor! Her lectures are clear to understand and she makes them very interesting. She cracks jokes during lectures and she tells you what you need to study for quizzes and tests. She wants students to use the textbook but her lectures are so good that I didn't need it. Easy extra credit opportunities and she also drops a low quiz grade.

She is amazing! I truly enjoyed this class and it wasnt difficult at all!! Her assignments are not time consuming and I enjoyed most of them! Her discussions are very interesting and they make you want to learn.

Kibbe is great! She tells you exactly what to study for the quizzes. Its not alot of reading just the text and a small book. alot less than most history profs. she does get irritated sometimes but i would to if people came to class and stayed on their phones and talked to each other while class is going. i recommend this class. taken 1301 ad 1302

She assigned one book to read which we have to write a paper on, and we have a another textbook that we read a few pages at a time from each week. The paper isnt hard at all and she is a easy grader! The test are easy as well as the quizzes every other week. just have your notes and study well and its easy!

Be careful picking this semester. Wonderful teacher, and keeps things interesting, but her tests are HARD. Questions worded very difficultly, even if you read the book and take notes in class, these tests are hard. She gives a lot of extra credit if you show up though, and you will probably need it. My STEM classes were easier than her class.

Everyone complaining about kibbe obviously wants to show up for class once a week and just get a A. I've had other profs assign 3 extra books. She only has 1. If you cant read 15 pgs over a week you really shouldn't be in college. If you read and go to class the tests are easy. She tells you everything that will be on the test.

this is the best history class i've ever taken. i've never liked history but dr. kibbe really makes it come alive. i thought i wasnt going to make a good grade but she gives plenty of extra credit if you attend class. her lectures are awesome like telling a story. by far the best professor here. i wish she taught more than history classes.

I had her for an 8am, people would show up late, which disrupted class (she starts right on the dot). Seriously, just don't be late and participate in class- your grade depends on it. The tests were very detail heavy, but there's a quizlet under her name that has most of her questions on it. Phrases lectures like a story, keeps us engaged.

Dr. Kibbe was great. Online course. Provided feedback on discussions and grading was fair. Overall, I'd recommend her class if you have to take this course.

This is now my second semester with this professor and I still enjoy going to her class. Yes, she does require attendance but she gives you plenty of extra credit for showing up and her lectures are very interesting. Her test and quizzes are simple, just understand the material and you will pass, you don't need to know any dates really!

I took this course online and I would recommend taking it online. She gives you a detailed syllabus with everything you need to do for the week. All of the assignments were straight forward. The only thing I would "complain" about is the amount of time given to take the quizzes and tests. Other than that I would recommend taking this class.

Loved Dr. Kibbe! I have the worst time with History but Dr. Kibbe made it very accessible to pass this class. Syllabus, due dates, expectations are VERY clear. So long as you do what is needed you will pass. Weekly tests are timed short, but include extra credit questions. One 3pg essay was a big assignment, but not tough at all!

Dr. Kibbe was amazing! I took her class as a summer session, so we only had 5 weeks. It was quite a bit of reading per week, but doable. She answers any questions you could have and genuinely cares about the students. The quizzes were kind of stressful as they were timed but if you know your stuff, it's not too bad.

Dr. Kibbe is literally the best professor hands down! She is so understanding and always attentive to her students. She believes that although school is important, our mental health is to and she does everything to make sure that we are well taught but still alive lol.

You will have weekly discussions and quizzes to do. Her classwork is easy to understand and doesn't ask for a lot.

Dr. Kibbe is the best professor I've had so far. The discussion boards are very easy if you do a little research, exams are easy, and there's a lot of chances for extra credit. The class requires a textbook but she provides a link to a free PDF version of it. I only opened the textbook twice and still passed with an A! 100% recommended.

TAKE HER! I never liked history but Dr. Kibbe made it enjoyable. You get 5 test (straight from lecture and not hard at all) and 5 discussion boards (200 words). Extra credit is given in the class as well. This class is an easy A. There is a book required to read but you don't need to buy a textbook. Also, attendance is a grade so go to class.

Literally the best history teacher I've had. All exams are online. She will get upset if you walk in late (understandable) and she doesn't tolerate lazy students who sleep through the class. She is good at explaining the history, she pretty much sums up what we really need to know. There are plenty of off days to study for exams.

Very thorough with teaching. Tests and Discussion Boards are pretty easy. Notes are easy to take because of her extremely detailed lectures. Easy class but you still learn stuff.

Love Professor Kibbe! She lectures well and gives a good amount of extra credit for showing up to class! Just as a general tip, when you download any professor's powerpoints, turn on presenter notes. In this class I printed the powerpoints with a portion at the bottom that shows the presenter notes, and they give a lot of supplemental information!!

Dr. Kibbe was a lot of fun! Hidden extra credit items are always fun. She's very lighthearted and communicated with us throughout the semester. Material was easy if you read and understand.

Loved Dr. Kibbe! Took the Honors HIST 1302 section, but it was super easy, interesting, and fun! Attendance was required, but you were allowed to miss so many days! Dr. Kibbe also gave lots of extra credit, for things like showing up to class when others didn't, and participating in discussions. Tests were online and not proctored!

Awesome Professor made me very confident in my learning abilities. In person quick and straight to the point class. Lots of class days off to catchup on assignments and work. 10/10 definitely recommend.

I suggest taking her in person compared to online. I took her over the summer the same type of assignments and easy to understand. In person is just a better vibe and connection to your professor.

Dr. Kibbe is hands-down the best history prof I've ever had. Her lectures are easy to follow, and you can tell she loves history. There's lots of additional reading, but you don't have to buy a textbook; she uses websites that she links to in a very well-laid-out syllabus. LOTS of extra credit opportunities as well. 10/10!

Professor Kibbe makes history engaging. The class has weekly quizzes and discussions, but with helpful study tools like unstuckstudy, it's an easy A. Attend class and you'll do well.

i took her online class and i wish i did for history 1 bc she is easy but her test are kinda hard. you have like 12 mins for 12 questions so you better know the info bc u have no time to think. other than that if you do the work you will make an A

She is amazing! She gives incredible lectures with deep insight into history. She loves students who participate in her lectures, so read your textbook beforehand. Her tests are pretty easy if you take good notes during her class.

I took her Honors History 1301 and 1302 and she is super nice and funny. Her lectures are at the perfect speed and doesn't waste your time. She takes attendance but you have 3 (I think) excused. Classes are cancelled a lot as well to have time for our extra projects and quizzes. She's always open for help and has amazing office hours. Lots of EC

She's super nice/ funny. Lots of extra credit opportunities, and the module quizzes are easy if you pay attention. You do have to buy two books and she has some readings posted on blackboard throughout the semester. No quizzes on readings, but she frequently asks questions from them during class so take that as you will- still enjoyable class

The most kind and amazing professor you'll have. I've taken both of her women's hist. classes and they're amazing. Do the reading and participate? Easy A. Those who dislike her are the ones who don't do the work, or don't put in the effort. Take her! She cares about her students and is super helpful and funny. 10/10 would take again.

Dr.Kibbe is an amazing professor! There is a lot of reading but it is a college history course. She is very clear on her instructions and the class is very enjoyable when effort is involved
