SHES ONE OF THE WORST! Her snotty attitude, and her rude comments are unbearable. She's a very harsh grader. You really have to work to get a good grade. DON'T take her class, you will regret it!

This was the worst class I have ever taken! She has no idea what she was talking about and can't concentrate on 1 subject for more than 2 sec. It was a terrible experience that noone else should have to go through

She had my class one day go around the room and say what we wanted to do with our lives. I said i wanted to be a writer. She told me not to because its a hard field. Teachers should ENCOURAGE their students.

WORST TEACHER IN THE WORLD! DON'T TAKE! She is a **** and loves to divide class based on who she personally likes and grades the same way. I took this class in 2003 and still no one likes her teaching. Loves her class pet, but s**** on everyone else. Hated her. Considered students as inferior and unintelligent to her. Worst Teacher !!!!!

mean...annoying...too difficult...too full of herself...couldn't stand her at ALL. Anyone that is GOING to have her either drop the class, get another professor or go through with it. And if u do, lotsa luck to u.

She is insane take my word for it I don't have a job I have worked as hard as I can on her papers the highest grade she gave me was an 85, she forgets to tell us things then sends us an email with her correction and if you didn't get the email then guess what screw you, please take my word for it you will work as hard as you can for nothing...

She was terrible. She didn't know her own material she was the worst teacher I've taken at wcc so far and its my second year. SHE SUCKS, unless your a teachers pet or a butkisser don't take her. I worked incredibly hard in her class and I got a below average grade Just don't take her, its the only way people like her will get removed from the syste

I think that Professor Margolis is a good person, but that doesn't matter when you are taking a required course to graduate. Be prepared to read. She doesn't teach any essay skills, or anything that can help you expand your writing. She doesn't go over MLA, and most importantly she grades way too hard. You are left to the wolfs in this class.

She gives too many research papers throughout the semester and she's a tough grader. she expects for the student to know how to be a professional writer. I would not recommend her.

SHE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND EVERYTHING WHEN PEOPLE ASKED HER QUESTIONS ABOUT AN ASSIGNMENT. SHE DOESN'T EXPLAIN ASSIGNMENTS AT ALL, OR YES SHE DOES BUT YOU BARELY UNDERSTAND. SHE GAVE ME 50 ON ALL OF MY ESSAYS I ACTUALLY DID WORK AT THE WRITING CENTER AND THE GRADES WERE STILL NOT SATISFYING.

DO NOT PICK THIS TEACHER Shes was the worst teacher ever. She is rude and inconsiderate when you put in the effort to pass the class. She failed ALL my essays. She believes you should not make any mistakes when you are writing. She also is not clear with what she wants. She was a waste of my energy and time !

Okay, I failed so it would seem like I'm critiquing her in regards to that, that's not the case. The time spent inside the classroom was decent, she'd explain things once and talk down to anyone who didn't understand. Once quarantine hit she just got lazy, uploaded assignments and graded as if we were taught anything. No zoom no respect

I have no idea how she still has a job here. 20 kids from my class dropped by halfway through the semester and the rest just barely passed or failed. Assignments that she gave failing grades to were shown to tutors at the college and they had no clue why she would fail them. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. Save yourself the stress and money

SHE IS THE WORST PROFESSOR I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. She is rude and mean. She does not let you ask questions in class and if you do she will get smart and hold it against you in the future. She is a tough grader. I ended this class with a D. At the end of the semester she went back into my graded assignments and lowered my score!!

Ive seen a lot of bad teachers, but this one takes the cake. Ive never seen a teacher so out of touch with their students & such an unfair grader. You can do everything she asks for, and still receive a horrible grade if its not EXACTLY how she perceives a question. The 1st meeting had 25+ students, as of Week3 theres 3 left. That explains alot

If you want an A in this class you better not take any other classes because she gives an UNBELIEVABLE amount of work. Took this class online and by the 3rd week of class there was only 4 students left.

I am not done with the class yet, 2 more after today, but I currently have an A. HOWEVER, this is because before her we had a different professor and we would read a book and then answer some questions and talks about it. Then this prof came in and gave us so much with no explanation. We explain we are having trouble but she barely believes us.

If you are reading this, please do not pick her. She is extremely rude and yells to students for no reason when they have a point. her way of teaching is outdated, and I don't know why she still teaching here. Please do not pick her for your mental health and gpa. she is not worth your time.

Dropped the course by the end of the 3rd week. Grading criteria is blasphemy, on top of the fact that her curriculum and sources are outdated. She teaches on outdated technology so prepare to run into problems opening her sources. Find another class even if its your only option.

I almost feel bad for giving Tina such a bad review, but she definitely deserves the criticism. DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! She's easily one of the worst WCC professors for English. She is excessively strict with grading, she nitpicks at the smallest of errors in your work and takes tons of points away for it. She literally wants perfection. Avoid!

This professor doesn't even know what she wants from her students. She's asks you to do work a certain way, and even if you do it this exact way she asks she still gives you a REALLY bad grade. Her teaches ways are very outdated. Do not take this professor, i regret joining her class.

She does not care if you are busy or have other responsibilities. She assigns almost three assignments a week and everything is so harshly graded

I had to take Prof Margolis because she was the only Prof left, I should have read the reviews before.... If you see her name, DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS. She is very old schooled and such a hard grader. She expects each homework assignment to be perfect as if this isn't English 101. The workload she gives is not manageable. AVOID HER AT ALL COSTS.

I would like to address that I had reservations about the reviews on Rate My Professor. However, upon further inspection, it became evident that they were indeed accurate. Despite maintaining a 4.0 GPA and excelling in English 101, this particular professor's grading inconsistencies were quite perplexing. Stay away stay away stay away

I should have read the reviews before taking this class with Tina. PLEASE IF YOU SEE HER NAME DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. She does not help with work, she is a tough grader who leaves her students with a 0 as if it's not ENGLISH 101 even if you do the work, She does not care if you are busy or have other responsibilities, worst professor in my life.

Prof Margolis does not practice what she teaches. I find so many mistakes in her writing which ultimately leads to so many confusions about the assignments. She is quick to send you to a tutor than help her students understand the material, muchless the assignments. You really are left to interpret the work on your own then graded harshly.

by far worst teacher was trying to be nice changed my research question four times, when finding sources she herself couldn't find any herself to prove me wrong. It's either her way and nothing is credible even when tutors help writing this so you are aware and will give terrible work a 90 and fail you if you question her knowledge.

Worst professor I've had.Attendance and participation are mandatory,she grades very harshly based on strict criteria.Late work is never accepted,making the class difficult for busy students.Many students dropped the course.would not recommend taking this class unless you can fully commit to her expectations(started with30 ended with15 students!
