Took Macroeconomics online, over the summer. Easy A. Read a chapter every week then take an easy multiple choice quiz. Sometimes questions poorly worded or repetitive. Easy class, unresponsive teacher. No need to interact with her, though.

she's an awsome teacher...she really wants her students to well and will work with you...A for effort.....sometimes she may get a little confusing but don't let that discourage you...she is great and the class is so easy...i took her macro class and micro online...it's great!
Nice teacher. She wanna talk about politics. Her quizess are not so easy cuz I only got B.
Tina Mosleh is a great teacher. Bascially, she teaches her class base from her knowledge and combin with book. She will tells you everything she knows, and if you don't get, you can always ask her. Her test is easy. If you attende the class regularly and listen what she says, you'll get A for sure.
since she has a lot of extra credit for us,,,she is easy,,,...but ,,no extra credit in her online class, so you need to really be good....
She has hella extra credit. Easy B.

Teacher uses all material from book and does not really give much input
i think professor mosleh is a very outstanding teacher. not only is she helpful, but she also makes the course interesting. if you study for the class and do the homework you will get an A. you just have to put the effort.
i think professor mosleh is very knowlegeble, she knows exactly what she is talking about. when she is teaching the class i can always tell that she is well prepared. if you want to learn about economics and receive an A in the class i suggest you take professor mosleh.
AMAZING TEACHER, HAS LOTS OF IMPUT AND IS ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP. I RECIVED AND A AND SWITCHED MY MAJOR BECAUSE OF THIS PROFESER

In my opinion, Professor Mosleh is the best professor I've ever had in Ohlone. She really knows economics; she is very helpful and has an effective way of teaching which makes the class fun place to learn If you like to learn economics and get a good grade take professor Mosleh.
I took ba102b with professor Mosleh in fall 2005. In my opinion she is an excellent professor with outstanding teaching method which makes learnign fun. She is very helpful and kind to students. If you like to learn economics and earn a good grade take Ms. Mosleh
great teacher, taught me everything she knew about the course to prepare me for any future economic classes. she also made the class very interesting from group projects, to amazing extra credit bonuses. a strong recomendation, if your planning to take econ.
extremely easy teacher. omg, there is no way you can fail her class. she has more extra cridit than her hws and test. be sure to go to her class everytime then there is no way you can get a grade less than B.
g00d.
proffesor is exreamly helpful, i was indifrent about a major and after her class i was convinced econ was for me. we always hear how boring and hard economics can be yet in profesor mosleh's class she makes if fun and intresting. you really do feel like your getting you money worth. also i enjoyed the group project
omfg,, easiest teach ever... super easy A man.. = =
I think I learn more from the book than the professor. She just goes over the slides .Does not clarify any questions in class .Just tells you to meet in office hours for the simplest question . Very poor knowledge of economics. If you want to learn something this is not the class .If you want to pass and get an easy A this is the class.
I did not learn anything from her .All she does is teach irrelevant things like current events .Asks what new current events are going on .and says that is all economics. gives 50% ditto questions from review and so it is verry very easy to get an A , However she teaches rubbish ,you will not learn anything in ECONOMICS
still in the class in the b+/A- range however i really learned some new and intresting stuff... if its a requirement for you... take this class its worth learning
dont listen to what others are saying about her... she is one of the best teachers at ohlone, I have learned so much from professor mosleh, my questions are always answered and I know I can come to her for any problems I may have in the class... trust me take professor moslehs class and you wont regreat it.
Professor Mosleh is very amiable. Her on-line & in-person classes follow the syllabus exactly. If you follow it, you should be able to earn a high grade. She grades very fair and often offers extra credit. I highly recommend her to any student.
this teacher is too "easy". easy tests, stupid but easy presentation. i hate her because i tried so hard on this presentation and she didnt even take it seriously! she didnt even understand her own questions...
useless teacher, talks rubbish nothing related to economics. tries to be popular by giving toooooooo easy exams ditto from study guide . However dont take her if you really want to learn . Ask her questions and you will end up all confused .Tries to evade questions in class by saying she has to finish syllabus.,However she has time for current topic
horrible teacher did not learn anything from her. you have to teach yourself through reading and studying the book. there are 3 tests 3 pop quizzes 3 newspaper article assignments and 1 presentation for the final. you're better off taking her class online if she is the only teacher teaching econ 102b.
She's a nice professor, tries to be helpful, etc, but puts WAY too much faith in the book. Her test questions(which she gets from a test bank) are VERY poorly written and even contradictory to the material in the book.
I have BA102A course with Professor Mosleh. She is an excellent professor she goes extra miles for students, makes the class very interesting. If you like to learn economics and get a good grade take Professor Mosleh.
She's nice and love in nature, her illustration was clear and fun,she knows who works hard,I like her very much, will definitely recommend her class!
Excellent Professor
One of the most energetic people to ever teach economics @ Ohlone, especially in the morning when students like me are still very groggy. Easy but tries to make things in the book a lot more interesting, which succeeds for the most part. This course is book-based, so be prepared to spend time reviewing chapters for tests and such. Recommend.
Horribly unclear and unhelpful. Exam answers contradict text.
Class based on powerpoint presentation-based lectures, quizzes and tests. Interesting professor, though sometimes hard to understand. Gives some extra credit, which helps cushion your grade, but tests are rather difficult
She's probably one of the nicest people ever, but her class is super boring
i had her for micro, she is nice and easy, the class is only 220pts and u can get up to 30 pts extra cred i got over 100% in teh class, it was really easy for me, but the ppl around me seemed to have a hard time with the tests, so im guessing it cant be too easy, but good class take it!!!
Sweet & nice, but sucks @ lecturing. Couldnt understand when she tried to explain concepts. If you can learn on your own w the book then do it, no use goin 2 class. U can makeup attendance points w 30pts ex. credit 3 quizzes. Didnt go to class 2 weeks & still got A on the test. Take it online maybe? Boring lectures, but she'll point u out if u slee
In my experience, most lame professors are actually pretty nice people. Mosleh falls under this category - she's nice and will help if you ask for it, but her lectures could be adequately replicated by smashing the textbook on your face. There's a lot of extra credit to be had, but prepare to suffer if you take this class.
had her for Macro & Micro very easy, nice and helpful. theres also a lot of EC in the class, and the tests are breeze if u read. Shes very into the subject which makes her a better teacher, it cane be boring at times but its ok. i REALLY like her, everyone who takes econ should take her!!! o and that pic doesnt do her justice, shes really HOT!
Online class is pretty easy, out of 275 points. 3 tests, 1 final, 10 current events, and homework. Tests aren't that tricky if you study like an hour or two before you take it. Current events and homework are so easy there is no reason anyone can't get full points on these.
Great Teacher. I took online class with her got b and anytime have question got quick responds from her.
I take it online; tests, to me, are very hard, except for the finals. better take her on campus.
She is very helpful, and she wants everyone to learn the materials as opposed to just learning it just because
GREAT PROFESSOR FOR ME. She wants us to understand material clearly, so i try to study by myself and ask if i have any question. WHAT A WONDERFUL PROFESSOR!
she doesnt teach BUT the class is easy if you READ THE BOOK.if there are a lot of formulas in a chapter MEMORIZE THOSE thats what will mainly be on the test.shes a NICE person but CANT TEACH.i got an A by studying hard but lots of people struggled.take it if you can teach urself.hell of a nice lady but cant teach.
This teacher is too easy. People who couldn't even speak English still passed the class. However, this is a class where you do need to start reading on your own because she is not clear on some of the subjects. Overall, pretty good. If you're looking for a easy class this is it.
she is very easy. i didn't get an A but that i did that to myself. she is very nice and although she can't speak english that well, she likes to waste lecture time with her lifestories so lectures are 90% of the time useless. just read the material and you will have no problems.
Very Good Teacher
Took online class. Test questions mainly application based (gives you graph/situation. asks a question about it). Responds to questions within 24 hrs. Offered 30-ish points extra credit (for reference, one test is 70 points). Class isn't all that bad only because she's nice enough to offer so much extra credit points. I think she's pretty nice
Great teacher and very responsible. Always reply to questions very fast and clear.
Each test question spurred from the reading so just read that. I believe the book for this class is changing but I'm pretty sure she will base the tests completely off of the reading still. She is sometimes difficult to understand but she is a good teacher. Watch the dates for assignments cause she does point system. Reading = A's on tests.
Wonderful teacher!!! =) Online class was very organized, she responded very quickly to questions, and it's not hard to get an A. She offers a bonus quiz which really can boost your grade. I would say though her tests are challenging but if you read the book and understand the hw then it's easy to get an A. I have an A right now =D
Great teacher overall, but man her tests are challenging!!! Online class didn't have too much work. Just 15 HW's that are extremely easy and 12 current events which are very easy!!!. Her tests are really tricky so you must study a lot!!! I got a D on the final but I managed to get an A in the class cuz of the extra credit quiz! =)
Took her after reading the reviews here, and I totally regret it. I'm surprised her reviews are so good when she never explains anything and expects us to know what she's talking about. I'm not the only one that feels this way, but everyone I talked to thinks we learn absolutely nothing and yet the tests are so hard! Her requirements are to high.
Not a good professor. She's friendly, but can't explain the material very well. Tests aren't easy, so you'll have to spend A LOT of time studying.
It seems like her macro class was easier. I got an A in macro, but in micro I got a B. TAKE HER ONLINE! I would never have took her at the school because I definitely would have failed.
Uses book and My econ lab. Generally, she's very nice and fair. I took it online, so very little interaction. If you read the book, you'll do fine. She responds fast! Overall, would definitely take her class again.
Very nice teacher! Her tests are very challenging. Offers chances to get extra credit to cushion your grade or to help pass the class. Going to class and doing the homework will get you a passing grade. Lots of group work during class. Overall, I think she's a great professor and and I plan to take her macro class during the summer online.
Take her online, I took her in class and she doesn't explain the material very well. I left class everyday not knowing what I just learned. Her tests are so different what the exact material she teaches. Stay away.
A bit hard to understand her, but she'll do whatever she can to make you pass the class
Pretty good teacher, hybrid class instead of full online class was helpful too. Subject is really easy enough to learn on your own but meeting once a month helped clarify and cement ideas.
I do not recommend taking an online class with this instructor. The homework questions she gives are not adequately explained in the text or in any of the online resources available, and no similar examples are given anywhere. She gives conflicting answers to questions, and you don't even get to see which questions on the homework you missed.
Text and online resources contain inadequate information/examples to show how to do homework assignments. When questioned about this, her response was "the problems are from the book" - yes, they are, but we are not shown how to solve them. Also, you are not able to see which homework questions you got wrong, even though you are allowed 3 attempts.
Took it online, discussions and homework due each week. Professor Mosleh is very polite when communicating via email/discussion board as long as you, the student, maintain a respectful demeanor. She is always willing to help her students! There is a 30-point economics paper which I suggest you start as soon as you get the directions for completion
She didn't do any teaching or provide any of her own material, she basically just had us do assignments through the textbook's website. Keep up with the coursework and make sure you take advantage of the fact all the tests are online (and therefor open book/Google) and you should be fine.
Sometimes it takes more than 48 hours for her to reply questions. Sometimes students have to ask the same question 2 or 3 times to finally get the desired answer. Typos and careless mistakes through whole semester - posted deadline as 11:59AM, but meant 11:59PM. I won’t recommend this professor. ONLY take her class if you have no other choices.
The course is very straight-forward. You are provided with a syllabus that has all the information you need. Homework and discussion boards are due each week. Also, you need the book to pass this class. If you do all the work you will be fine! I hate economics and I did fine. Good Luck :)
Very kind, gentle. and understanding. Tina has wealthy amounts of experience as an Economist, there is an abundance of things to learn from her even out of class. She's one of the best professors at Ohlone. I really don't know why people complain. If you're a Business major, she's the way to go. I promise you it will be fun and kind of easy
Taking the online version of the class she's kind of like the moderator as you teach yourself. If you need help you ask her & she'll do her best, considering she has 60 or so students. Emailed her near finals to discuss grades, she seemed pretty willing to keep me informed. The material itself is hard; lots of reading and terms to know. Testshard.
Homework was so easy but the tests were a little hard.
Passionate about teaching & seems to really care about the class. Very hard to understand in lecture (not because of her accent) because she does her own lecturing that strays from the curriculum lecture materials. I wish she would follow those because they're easy to understand. She was never on time. Tests are 50 Qs, very hard. Online quizzes.
Took Micro online. The grading criteria is a little unclear as well as the syllabus but Mosleh does a good job of getting back to you and clearing up any issues that you may have. You definitely need to make sure you stay on top of everything. As long as you do that, the class itself is easy. You just need to keep up with the material
She'll go off topic and ramble making it very difficult to understand the material. Unreasonable tests. I wouldn't recommend taking her. There are better, more helpful and professional Business professors at Ohlone.
Overall Easy A. Just make sure to be on top of the assignments since It is an online class and she will only remind you about the tests.
Unclear grading
This class consists of weekly assignments through SmartBook, two midterms, and a final. The practices are long and tedious and are only worth 3 points, but the homework assignments are pretty easy and most of the answers are on google. There is not much interacting with the class since it consists mostly of independent work (no discussion boards).
Easy A if you're on top of your weekly assignments. The assignments aren't hard and you can find most all your answers online. Midterms and the final are also pretty fair. She does a good job of sending out emails reminding students of upcoming assignments and due dates.
It's an easy A but a lot of homework in my opinion. You must do the reading and each week there are two assignments that take a while to do. Don't wait for the last minute. She doesn't send emails, but everything is clearly organized on Canvas on what's due. There are 2 midterms and a final exam, and there is no hw the week of which is nice.
She doesn't let you retake test. it's online and the class material is difficult. I have a problem that the final should be set on the last day of finals week or on a set schedule. Don't set the final on a monday set it on the wednesday when things are due.
This is a pretty straight forward class, mine was a late start class so I had work to turn in every other day, which was still manageable, but as long as you remember to do the homework you should be fine.
Economics is a pretty difficult subject to understand in itself. All the assignments are online. It is especially important to read and understand the textbook; this really comes in handy for the midterms. Professor is there to help you.
You can tell she really. cares about her students. She gives a few reminders so that students don't slack off. Not a tough grader but you have to put in work to earn a good grade. Sweet lady!
I took the late-start course, so there was online homework every other day. There were only 2 midterms and a final, which were all pretty difficult, so doing poorly on one can jeopardize your grade. The professor was available if you had any questions and reminded students of due dates, but otherwise it was completely a self-study class.
the grading way is suck you have 10 homework 5 points each, and you have 2 midterm and one final 100 points each. The test are so hard to do, but the homework you have 3 tries which easy. the two midterms and the final are so hard
Since the class was purely online, there was a lot of self-learning. 3 exams, all super easy. HW isn't too hard, but it takes a lot of time to complete per lesson and you can always reach out to her on the discussion board for help. The deadlines are clear and she emails you ahead of time if deadlines are extended.
I took Macro-econ w/ Prof. Mosleh completely asynch, and despite that she has come off as a very kind person. She frequently sends out reminders so students don't forget their work. Chapter assignments (usually 5-10 questions) are due a couple times a week, and discussion posts are done in 5 chapter batches. Easy A even w/o using textbook much.
I took the asynchronous class. There are very short assignments a few times a week. Everything is assigned well in advance and there are multiple reminders for homework. Hundred percent recommend taking her.
TAKE THIS TEACHER AND CLASS IF U WANT EASY A. TRUSTTT
The workload and the tests are very challenging, because there's only three major tests that make/break your grade. Discussion/HW grades do somewhat matter but the tests are something you should always brace yourself for. She is available for office hours so try to take advantage of that
This teacher's asynchronous class sucks. Teacher is nice but her slides don't even go over what is on the homework and says she will post a study guide for the midterms and final but never does.
Easy class, easy A, good lecture.
The professor doesn't teach anything as this was a fully online class, but grades assignments based on completion so it is fairly easy. There is a lot of reading, but it is spread out over the semester. The professor sometimes posts incorrect due dates and grading criteria for the wrong assignments, but it is a good self-study class.
There is lots of reading, so make sure to space it out if you don't want to get overwhelmed. Mcgraw assignments are easy (5 pts), so if stuck look up answers online. The 3 discussion posts are time-consuming, so don't do it last minute. Do not slack on exams, as they determine your grade (at least 100 pts); practice with online resources
Easy self-study class if you stay on top of the weekly assignments. The exams are the main challenge, but with practice using resources like Unstuck study, you can do well. Definitely do the readings to make it an easy A.
It's all textbook based, you read a chapter or two a week and do the short assignments for them. There's 3 tests and 3 discussions about every 5 chapters so you don't have to remember everything at once, they're all online so you can open use the book and notes. If you stay on top of your work, it's a relatively easy but independent class.
