She is hard, but you have to study. Study your verbs AVERE AND ESSERE. Her tests can be unclear and she can pick favorites. Don't miss any classes she hates people that don't show up. I loved her though!

This professor is the very best, she is outgoing, she smiles, she cares about her students, great personality, make Italian fun and understanding, easy A. What a sweetheart. I learned more in one semester of italian w/her than i did in 4 years of it in h.s. Always there to answer any questions u have or give extra help. Just make the effort and you'll be fine. Great prof. =)

Great professor. She gives a lot of homework, but it helps you learn the language. She has a passion for teaching & it shows. Very helpful & friendly.

Prof. Quattrone is a great teacher. I learned a lot of italian this semester. She is friendly and funny. Just come to class on time and show her that you are trying and she will pass u. I highly recomend u take her class if u need it.

She is a very thorough teacher who gives 100 percent to her students. Her knowledge of the italian language seems to rub off on her students. She makes the class fun while you are learning. Highly recommend. The homework she gives helps you to understand the language and keep up in class. Not too much homework at all.

For those of you who complained about the class being hard or that there was too much homework should definately re-think higher education. It doesn't get much better than this!

I think that she is a great teacher! She makes learning Italian fun! I have never taken Italian before and did really good so every1 who is saying it is impossible to pass if you didnt already know Italian is wrong. As long as you pay attention and put some effort into the class, you will pass. Im actually taking her again!

Love her! She is the best language teacher I have ever had! I passed her Italian 1 and loved her class so much that I am now taking her Italian 2 class! You must work hard in her class though. She never gets mad at you and does not have favorites...you just need to show you care...and study. Another language is not learned over night!

She is a really great teacher, knows what she is talking about. If you really want to know some Italian and some things about the culture of Italy take her. What she knew about the culture of Italy and how it is now was the best part of the class.

She is one of the best teachers in BCC. The class is very easy but if you do not speak or understand italian, you will have a hard time.

Need to show up to class or you will be lost. But other wise such a good teacher. fun to be around and loves to teach us. speaks in fulent Italian so becareful if you dont know a thing it will be hard. Test are moderate and she helps those who are looking to help. Dont expect her to come running to you. you have to make the effort.

Always offers help, understands work can be a load full so she goes over as a class also individually. Actively help students participate in class. Attendance very important and hw. If you take Italian at Bergen, make sure you get into Prof Quattrone's class! Classes weren't really structured enough in my opinion (this is probably not the case in lower levels). Lots of reading articles and conversation, real world connotations.

She is such a great professor! She never gets mad, even when students are sarcastic she's sarcastic back. She's really funny, kind, helpful, and easy going. She doesn't believe in tests but gives you a few quizzes and online homework that she goes over in class. Take her, her classes are a lot of fun and you will learn lots!

She is actually pretty good and pretty helpful. The only problem with her is that she calls out and picks on the students that struggle a lot with Italian, so if u have past experience with Italian like in high school or if u speak spanish then u won't have to worry about getting picked/called on a lot

I just LOVE her. She is a great teacher. Made me even more interested about the language than i was ever before. She is very clear and makes the class fun. I love her sense of humor. Be prepared to be thrown under the under the bus if you don't pay attention and don't follow the class. Don't expect an easy A! may i just say she is awesome again?

Professor Quattrone is a very good professor. She is very enthusiastic about the subject and explains it very well. She is pretty strict and doesn't give out Easy A's! She is sarcastic and funny, so if you don't have a sense of humor DO NOT take her. Her tests are pretty fair, you just need to attend every class and be prepared/pay attention.

Best professor at BCC! She is helpful, funny, she gives the best life advices. I took her for Italian I & II. If you are a good student, you won't regret taking her. This class is not an easy A but it's not hard at all. You have to buy the book which comes with a code to do the homework online. TAKE HER! My entire class loved her!

Absolutely loved Professor Quattrone. I'm not that great at languages and she was extremely helpful. Even though her calling you out to answer is nerve racking, it helps you learn more than you think. She made learning fun and her life stories are hilarious. Would have loved to take her again for Italian 2.

She is simply amazing! Best teacher I've had at BCC so far. I had her for Italian 1 and now i'm taking Italian 2, it is not a very easy class, but if you participate and show interest you will be just fine. She never lets you give up and gives great life advice. If you like Italian definitely take her class, you won't regret it!

Her class is-wait for it-AWESOME!!!!!!! I learned Italian with a fun class culture and if I was ever lost, then she would be there to help me for anything! I had so much fun in her class! I would soooo take her again if I had the option to do it. She makes sure to engage everyone in the class discussion and she's so good at it!

I adore Professor Quattrone. She has this wonderful sarcastic humor that makes her so unique as both a teacher and individual. Professor Quattrone is by far my favorite teacher at BCC. I promise you that if I had taken that class with any other professor, I would have dropped out of it. She is truly inspirational and has an aura that somehow makes the people near her become greater than who they are. I wish I could take her again.

She's Italian from Rome. Be prepared to participate! In the beginning it's stressful, but pay attention & you will get the hang of how she teaches. She's a bit all over the place, so note taking can be confusing but pay attention, come to class, and show that you are trying and you will do fine. Great teacher. Super funny. Sarcastic :)

She is awesome and hilarious! I wish I could take her again!! Easy grader and not that much work. A final presentation and some oral tests, but there is no need to be nervous because she makes you feel very comfortable standing up there. Def recommend!!!

Professoressa Quattrone is an absolute treasure. I actually learned Italian. All the material she gives relates back to your life, you would have to make an effort NOT to learn Italian to not get it. On a personal level, she cares about her students an immense amount, she will go the extra mile when she sees you putting in the work, she is amazing.

One of my favorite professors at bergen! She will only speak Italian which I very hesitated about but it actually made me learn Italian more. I will definitely expand my knowledge of learning Italian.

This was probably the easiest language class I've taken at Bergen. She gave us many assignments but she gave us a lot of time to complete them. It was not a rushed class. The online video assignments were simple. Overall simple, in general. There was also no textbook.
