I LOVE HER HIGH ENERGY AND MOTIVATION. She really wants people to learn the material but in a fun and laid back manner. SHE'S VERY FUNNY AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. One of the only few classes that i actually ENJOYED and LEARNED a lot without realizing it. Reading is not required but is helpful, she explains the topics very well so is easy to understand.

This professor is a very good person, with a great heart, and is overall an excellent teacher. However her notes are good, but it sometimes does get very boring, but it is not her fault. Funniest professor I've ever had in BC! Very enthusiastic. She explains dry business law terms in humorous ways, which keeps your attention in class. Birnbaum actually cares genuinely about her students! Exams are quite challenging, but fair. You must take good notes and read the chapters in the textbook. I highly recommend taking Birnbaum!

One of the best in the college! Cares for her students and want them to succeed! 10% participation, 45% midterm, and 45% final. Tests are mainly definitions and scenarios from the book so you must read. Class is fun to go to and is very interactive. A class I actually enjoy going to.

Toby is one of the most INSPIRING professors I have ever met. I took her during Spring 2018 and I learned a lot during the course. Professor Birnbaum is really great for business law. She gave amazing lectures and examples that will make you understand the materials clearly. But you do need to read the textbook to fully apprehend the materials. We were only given two exams, the midterm and the final. Some questions were tricky but the class definitely was worth taking.

Read the textbook, go to the lectures and you'll pass. Grade depends on only 2 exams, don't let that frighten you; Marketing is mainly memorization, and you'll be okay if you do what she says. Her lectures are engaging, she is clearly passionate about what she does and she tells us interesting stories.

Where do I start. I hated college up until I took professor Birnbaum. Her lectures are so entertaining and really keep your mind going. Midterm + Final make up 90% of your grade and the other 10% is attendance, but believe me... you're going to love attending this class. You'd be crazy not to take this class.
