He is a great teacher. The music really helps you understand the concepts better. He acts strange sometimes but he is really funny.

Campbell is awesome. He really cares about his students and wants to see them succeed. He is also funny and really outgoing, making the students feel comfortable and more open.

Campbell is one of the better professors;funny and serious all rolled into one big dough-ball!He is a HARD grader but you will find tougher professors in higher literature courses that make him seem like a pansy! NGCSU is NOT Georgia State, or UGA; this is ONE TOUGH English department, get over it.

If you have to take an English class you can’t make it easier! This guy WANTS to give high grades; he bends his standards and you grades so that it’s impossible to make a B and that is if you stink at the English language! A great choice, I suggest taking him for as many courses you can.

Campbell is the craziest guy, in class we talked about the most random stuff. He is very helpful and is willing to help any way if you just ask. As long as you do your papers and make good grades on them you will do fine in the class. It is an easy class that just requires a little outside work.

Great class...one of my favorite professors. This guy teaches you TONS and still makes you look forward to coming to class. He is laid-back and funny, and is very helpful when grading papers. TAKE HIM!!!

Interesting little Irish man... class is the most fun you will ever take. He is always willing to help which evens out the difficulty of his class. CAMPBELL is the best...if I knew where this man lived he could expect a GOOD KIDNAPPING in his near future.

its fun and easy but all you have to do is write a lot

very outstanding teacher. if you can't write well, start with campbell. he will build you up to where you'll be writing well.

He was a very good teacher!Of course you have to do the work. He is nice and his class it a bit out there,but it is fun loving and he teaches to teach. He wants you to be able to learn and take something from his class. There are essays and he grades hard, but fairly. Do the work and ask for help when you need it and you'll do fine!!!!

Amazing Prof!! He helps you with your writing. He will murder your papers but help you bring them back to life! He has a dry sense of humor and you have to be paying attention to catch it. Mr. Campbell is really funny in a kind of twisted, dark way. He's really easy to get along with, and is always available for help. He's not too strict about attendance or turning assignments in late. His tests are pretty easy because he gives you a sample test the class before, and it's almost exactly the same as the test. Great teacher!!

Take the class! He is very willing to help students improve, doesn?t mind if your late to class, and will move due dates for papers ahead if you are feeling overwhelmed in other classes. Great professors very engaging

Mr. Campbell was an amazing teacher. Not only was he extremely clear in his instruction to the class, but he's incredibly intelligent and HILARIOUS. I'd take this class over again. You HAVE to have him as a teacher.

He is very sarcastic which is usually funny but he can go over the top and it turns offensive. Sometimes he says things with cryptic meanings. He gives good feedback on papers. This class wasn't helpful at all but that's because of the class content not Campbell.

Campbell was awesome. He is a genuinely nice guy and is willing to help you with whatever. When he grades papers he gives advice and it really improves your writing. In all honesty, I am really going to miss his class. Great guy, great teaching methods, fair grades, and definitely the class you want to take.

I was a little shaky at deciding how I felt about Mr. Campbell. He was fun and helped improve my writing tremendously... but I had to practically fail my first few in-class essays to get there. He grades really hard, but is good about giving second chances. He grades based upon improvement.

Everyone who says he is a hard grader, they think too highly of their mediocre papers. He grades what you write, not you as the student... so write well. NEVER use the word YOU in a paper; he takes 10 points off each and every time. He tells you what he expects, just listen. He is sarcastically hilarious and completely awesome. Take his class!

Mr. Campbell is an amazing professor--his class is entertaining as well as educational. His method of instruction teaches you to become self-reliant and push yourself. He is very kind, funny, and helpful, but extremely tough when grading. Great for a casual chat about anything after class, too--I would definitely recommend him to freshman students.

Favorite professor my first semester, and I was NOT an English major. Extremely helpful, replies to e-mails promptly and will talk to students after class and in office hours. Keeps classes VERY interesting. I thought I was going to flunk when I started, but it definitely gets easier as you go along. Just learn what he wants. Campbell rocks!

Professor Cambell's class was actually a lot more interesting than I thought it would be. I learned a lot from his class. While a lot of it is focused on "success skills" for the college student (time management, etc - all things I've mastered) he tries to give interesting spins on your traditional discussions. He's not at all strict & is awesome.
