Had him for general psych. hes a pretty funny guy and is absolutely crystal clear on the material. its basically notes and videos in the class. each class at the beginning of the semester he lets the class choose how they want the curriculum to be issued. young, easy to talk to, understanding. in general just a great prof

Easy A. No book needed, all quiz and tests are from his notes, so go to class everyday. He's young, easy to talk to, and he actually reads and comments on the work you turn in. He has a real, genuine interest in you and your success. Awesome teacher.

I agree with everyone else. Easy A..all his tests and quizzes are straight from his notes. I used my book ONCE for an open book quiz. All the other quizzes were open notes. He gives a review sheet of everything on test. Really nice and super chill. Alot of videos but they were educational not too boring. Take if you can! Good luck!! :)

I love this teacher; he was the best teacher ever. This is an easy class to pass you just have to do all the work which is easy. If you want a class where you can learn also can get an easy A. This is the class for you and this class your opinions do matter.

Best professor ever!! If you want an essay A you should take him!! Do not buy the book!! He didn't use it at all!! And basically all the test and quizzes are based on his notes. He is always available during office hours. I'll definitely take him again. :)

He is AMAZING! Absolutely FANTASTIC psychology teacher! Passionate, caring, interesting! He makes everything relatable to current life, speaks clearly, grades fairly, gives open note quizzes, 3 papers to write, and 3 exams (which your lowest grade on exam & quiz is dropped). WONDERFUL! I took the online summer class. The workload was intense and I had to work hard for my "A". Prof. Joseph was extremely responsive, helpful and answered all my questions. The on-campus final was ROUGH!!! Study hard for the final and you'll do well. My only regret....I wish I couldn't have taken his on-campus class.

Extremely easy online class! Read the chapter, do good on quizzes, and use good grammer and punctuation on discussion boards and you are sure to pass! Professor Joseph is very helpful and grades in a timely manner.

Very patient & responsive. Answers all questions and wants students to learn and do well. Took on-line version of class--it is ALOT of work, so don't take unless you have 10-12 hours per week to devote.

He is a really, really good instructor. You can't help but love him! he's really nice, very patient, reponds to all emails in a timely manner answering all questions. Easy A if you study. I'm currently taking his online class and love it. There's a lot of work but he warns you at the beginning of the semster what's involved.

Very good professor! He is very nice, and makes you feel really comfortable in class. We take notes in class and the tests are based off of the notes. I am taking another one of his classes next semester! :)

Excellent teacher! I thoroughly enjoyed his class, and really learned a lot! He was so willing to help you if you had any problems with the class, or even in life! I really wish I had him for General Psych. Just study, and attend class, and you'll get an easy A!

Great teacher this class was beyond helpful and great for an elective credit. Test are just like the notes taken in class. Its honestly an essay A if you just attend class and listen. The class is interesting!!!

Took this class online. It is quite a bit of work but he is very helpful. I wish all of my professors were as kind, and helpful. This is one professor that actually cares, and wants to help you if you do not understand. Five exams from start to finish but the lowest two don't count against your grade! Take his class!

He is a good teacher and makes it fair. Either you do the work or you do not. If you put your effort in it and attend class you should do well.

Prof. Joseph is an all around wonderful professor. You know what to expect and if you study, there's no reason to not get an A. I'm almost done with his class and have a perfect score right now!! He's awesome and wish I could take him for future classes. :( If you get over a 90 on first 2 tests, you dont have to take the last one so study hard. :)

I loved the organization of this course. It was the best online course I took this semester. Lots of work, but lots of information in a fantastic, easy format. Professor Joseph is also extremely helpful. Would definitely take another course with him.

The instructor was fantastic. This online course wasn't hard but it was a lot of material to cover. Mr. Joseph kept us informed, answered E-mails, discussion board questions, and was extremely helpful. He posted grades quickly and stayed very accessible. I'd take as many classes from him as I could.

I was generally dreading taking psychology. After my summer semester with professor Joseph he brought enlightenment to the subject. He answered every email within 2-3 days. He was very understanding and helpful! Take his class he's awesome!

Please take this professor. I took his online semester class and it was very interesting. I got an A while I had a very busy schedule. Of course you must study but it is very easy and fun.

He was great! VERY helpful. I took the class online over the summer and was able to understand all of the material. There are a few essay/discussion boards but they really help the information sink in. I received an "A" while having a busy schedule. I loved the class and now will be taking him for another class this Spring.

Pro, Todd. was the most amazing professor i have ever had. The way he teaches the subject of PSY allows the student to understand the concept much easy then if they were just reading the book. I took his class for 3 different classes, and highly recommend this teacher for any psy related courses

I have a busy schedule so I opted to take this class online. Professor Joseph was really helpful and answered all of my questions and emails in a timely manner. He even accepted a quiz late from me with full credit! He goes above and beyond. Final exam must be completed in person on campus though, so you must actually do the work for the final!

He was great gives good notes and passed all his exams he does reviews and he's cute too

He was a really awesome teacher! I took developmental psychology with him and didn't really know what to expect, but I know I want to major in psychology. He made the class so interesting and was really easy. If you're interested in psychology and want an easy-going class, you should definitely take one of his classes!

This class is easy if you read all the chapters and it is fairly interesting. You have a quiz every week, some tests, and some discussion boards. The only bad part is you have to take your final on campus but it isn't hard either. I recommend taking it!

He is an amazing professor. Very clear in explaining content and new ideas. His passion for what he does is clear. He's super cute and very nice. Show up, participate and study the notes given and you'll do well.

He is very clear on what to expect. there is a lot of reading and quiz and exam every week and about 6 discussion boards. If you dont have the time to read the book dont take it online. All questions are based on what you read. If you have at least 15h a week to devote i recommend it. as long as you read and dont miss deadlines you will do fine.

I participated in Professor Joseph's on-line Intro to Psychology course and found him to be a fantastic teacher. The assignments were thought provoking without being overwhelming to someone without a foundation in Psychology. I e-mailed him quite a few times over the semester and never felt as if he was put out by my emails. Highly recommend!

I have taken Professor Joseph three times while at HCC and I was lucky enough to have him teach two of my courses this semester. He is amazing and if you have the opportunity to attend any of his classes, you should take it. His classes are very work intensive but the assignments are meaningful. He is always there and very prompt to return emails.

I highly recommend this course and Prof. Joseph! The Psychology of Personal Growth class was amazing and very enlightening. This is a very work intensive class, but that's what we are here for, right? If you aren't ready to grow as a person or work hard, then you should not take this class. But you will not regret the teacher or the course!

I took the online class DEP1004. An A is possible if you put in the work, read, score hi on weekly quizzes and chapter tests. Make all deadlines for completed assignments. I would take again.

Dr. Joseph is an excellent instructor. He's always willing to help. He gives good, prompt feedback, and wants you to let him know if he can be of further help. You have to do the work, but he's not a hard instructor. The Learning Curves are very helpful. Please use them. I took his CLP and PSY classes & would take more with him if I could.

Mr. Joseph is the best. He is funny and makes class fun. Psychology is an interesting subject already, but he makes going to class enjoyable. He is a mentor and a friend. I recommend him to everyone looking to learn and have fun doing it.

Let's be honest here people. Mr. Joseph is a wonderful teacher. His 6 week course is intense, but as long as you actually read the chapters, you will be ok. Took the 6 week online course. It was a lot of work. A LOT of work. Interesting class though if you are into psychology. Mr Joseph has some really good topics for blackboard posts that didn't make them seem like homework. Be prepared though to do a lot of assignments via an online module program. Varied assignments. Enjoyed the class overall.

Taken as a 6 week summer online course. Short duration of class a lot of reading & assignments to complete in a short amount of time. Time management is key. Professor is always available for questions, responds promptly. Extra credit opportunities if needed.

Professor Joseph is amazing. He is very thorough in his lectures, writes the test reviews with you so you know what you should know what to expect and he is very reasonable. He cares about the student overall as if they were family. I have taken 3 courses with him because he has also has selective topic classes where the class makes the syllabus.

I took the class online and passed with a B. Its clearcut and as long as you complete the assignments you will pass. He responds to emails, and there are no papers just a discussion board or two.

The course is a never ending discussion and is based on 2 discussions a week either reading or videos, two online exams, and a final on campus. He does not tell you what to study for, so unless you ask you will be clueless. He is a pretty cool prof though his man bun threw me off. He is a stickler for spelling and grammar, points will be deducted.

I wish Prof. Joseph would teach me every class in college. I've taken two classes with him and enjoyed every minute. Be a full participant and be prepared to enjoy learning with this one.

Took this class online. Was dreading it from day one after reading syllabus. It consists of ALOT of reading and study time. If you can not comprehend a subject without going into the class and being forced to work, do not take this class. Very helpful and clear cut to what he wants. After many study hours, I feel like I learned something!

I took PSY2012 online with him and the class organization was great. The weekly homework was completely do-able and I took an 8 week course- which he didn't cut any slack with! The assignments to me were pretty 'easy' compared to other work. I was always attentive to my emails always replying quickly. The final was difficult, use the study guide!!!

Had Dr. Joseph for an online class, so not much to say about instruction style. He grades quickly, checks up on e/one to see if a/one needs help, and gives fairly easy Chapter quizzes. His review outline for the midterm and final exams were great--study them well and you'll get good exam grades. Final was proctored.

This class is easy as long as you read everything you're supposed to. At the end of the course you will need to take the final at the testing center, I suggest you study the final practice test its very similar.

I have actually had the privilege of having Professor Joseph for several classes. I have to tell you that this one professor changed me as a person. I have since moved from Florida, but I am still in contact with Mr. Joseph. He has become a friend and he genuinely cares for each of his students. I am grateful and I am thankful.

I took Psych of Personal Growth online over the summer with him, and I really enjoyed it. The course was LOTS of discussions based on a video or article, and though there were lots of them, I found all of them really enjoyable. He always explains what he wants from you and as long as you follow his instructions for each one you should get an A.

Professor Joseph is amazing. He is very passionate about what he does which makes him an excellent teacher. This is not an "easy A" but if you get an A in this class it's because you earned it. He is very approachable and happy to answer any questions for you. Allows the class to determine what type of grading scale they want to use.

I loved this class and Prof Joseph. He cares about his students' success and it is clear in how he runs his class. There is plenty of opportunity for getting into deep and insightful discussions. I just started nursing school and the first week, we were already applying things I learned in his class. So glad I paid attention and took his class!

The Professor really cares about the success of his students. If you miss an assignment he understands that you are human and mistakes happen so he will figure something out. I have taken 2 of his online classes and I have always felt like i was in his classroom. He really loves his job and it shows.

Explains the content thoroughly, be ready to take neat notes, fair grader, there's a final project at the end (not hard), & is flexible with his students. He is pretty straight forward with his class. Only thing I didnt like was that his class was based off points not letter grade so I never knew my actual grade. Hes a little technical for grammar but nothing major! He also gives you times for makeups! Would take again

Professor Joseph is really cool. He doesnt expect too much especially for psychology. He gave us time mid semester to make up anything we missed. One thing I didnt like was his class was based on points not percentages and he takes just a little bit longer to grade material that most professor but the work is simple.

This class was easy enough and the professor is a nice guy. My only issue was that the lectures were slightly pointless for the class; however, they did contain important life lessons. Make sure you form/join a group of people with initiative and assertiveness. Otherwise, things will go down hill and you'll be stuck doing all the work.

Professor Joseph is honestly so amazing and caring. His online class is very easy and straight forward, most of his exams are based on the quiz questions. Super easy to pass and his discussions are always interesting topics. He is big on grammar so I had to Invest in grammarly. But thats not even bad because his class is very worth it!

Todd is honestly the best professor I have ever had. I have never seen someone care so much about the success of his students. He gives great feedback and is very flexible if you are having problems with due dates. There are two discussion posts every week and 4 exams throughout the semester. He gave us two extra credit opportunities. TAKE HIM!

He's a great professor, the content you learn in this class is strongly applicable to real life. Not a lot of work; just discussions, notes, and exams. Definitely has helped me grow as a person and the class isn't even over yet.

Super easy class, I don't think I read anything from the textbook and whizzed through it. This prof is also extremely caring! I got state-side deployed in the middle of the semester and he gave me an indefinite extension on every assignment. Because there wasn't a whole lot, I was able to catch up very quickly. Great guy!

This professor is amazing. Yes you do a lot of discussions but they are so easy. All of his tests are easy and he even extended all of his due dates just to be nice. All of the bad reviews on here are silly because he is the easiest A for this class. Take him you will not regret it. The only "bad"thing I could say is you do teach yourself who cares

Prof wants his students to succeed! Very caring, approachable, and responsive. The class is not hard at all and he made it fun. Textbook is provided. Discussion posts and quizzes are easy As. theres 4 open exams and one drop. Work load is easily manageable, which I was worried bc when I first read the syllabus it felt like a lot. Take him!!

Course is very discussion/quiz based, 1 of each per week. Typically there would be a video to watch or a prompt to write about. Initial posts were due Sun, and 2 replies due Tues. The quizzes would be modules quizzes, but they're open note, and if you keep up with readings, not too difficult. Mr. Joseph is super understanding and allows late work

If you see Todd Joseph as a possible professor, don't hesitate taking the class. I tried to take him again the following semester (summer = took and fall = planned to take) only to find that his class was completely full. He's very nice, gives extra credit, and allows you to do late work (with little penalty no matter how late the assignment is).

Cannot say enough good things about Prof Joseph! So kind, understanding, and obviously wants his students to succeed. A lot of material covered but honestly probably one of, if not, the most interesting class I have ever taken. This class & Prof Joseph made me love psychology! If you're looking for a great psychology class/teacher, you found it!

This class is pretty easy. Very discussion heavy so if you're good at them you will have an easy time. Just make sure to turn in everything on time and give your work quality. You should pass very easily!

Amazing, assignments were very easy. i took the hybrid class, we had 1 online quiz a week less than 15 questions, a discussion & a few easy ted talks. he makes this class entertaining, motivates students and is understanding when needed. i recommend this class if you need a psych requirement filled as you shouldnt get lower than a B in his class.

Professor Joseph was an okay professor. He definitely knows a lot about psychology; however, sometimes he is a little bit of a harsh grader. You have to read 17 chapters of the textbook (it's free and provided to you). There is a quiz about each chapter. There are 3 exams and some extra credit. Overall, he is a very fair professor.

Everything you want in a professor. I took personal growth, one thing you need to provide for this course is your experiences and opinions! Hurricane Milton hit during our semester, and he allowed as much time as we needed to make up late assignments and made sure we were well. Lovely course and professor!

Prof is super caring and understanding. Easy A class with manageable workload. Discussions and quizzes are straightforward. Unstuckstudy was a great study tool alongside the free textbook.

Professor Joseph is an amazing mentor. He initiates though provoking discussions every week that really helps to engage and keeps students interesting in learning even if psychology may not be their major. Homework is manageable, two discussions a week around 300-500 words. He put the effort in to make sure we pass and priorities quality over skill

VERY EASY TEACHER/CLASS! I took him for Psych and wish he was my teacher for any and every course! He's very flexible with deadlines and understanding that we have a life outside of this class. There is a math test but it's very easy and doesn't count against you if I remember correctly. It is pass/fail, but if you attempt the work, you'll pass!

Overall, this was a pretty easy class. He does follow the rubric thoroughly when he grades discussions so just be sure to take your time and follow ALL of the directions for the discussion posts. Workload was manageable. No Honorlock. 10/10 class and professor.
