excellent teacher, caring and very interested in the student, do all homework and study and you will be fine. also makes class fun interesting.

I had Mr. Meisel for Summer 2008. It's true that the material was rushed, but it was a summer class where you have to learn the material in less than three weeks instead of the usual 4 months. This is not Mr. Meisel's fault, it's the department's. Nonetheless, Mr. Meisel is always smiling and is a fun math instructor. I highly recommend him.

he was decent teacher. math is not my subject and thats why i didnt do well. i think he needs a little more confidence when teaching but he really does care about his students and wants to help them. he is always offering his time outside of class for tutoring. i would take him again if i have too.

Awesome professor if you can laugh about silly things. Shows he is a new professor. Confidence about math is great, follows the text in the math book ;) Great notes, PRECALCULUS next students will do better, since the tests have been tested and the notes have been revised. He takes the time to answer questions and go over the material

All of you that left alot of bad things about him is so not true. He is a awesome professor, kind of awkard because he's new, but he is a great teacher. I learned a lot from him, and i took him for summer. Make sure you go to class, and print out notes. Your pretty much good.

Great professor, hint: do all the homework, go to class (dont skip or you will be lost) review notes/homework before test and you will do great.! i must admit, i was a little scared at beginning, because im not good in math., but this prof. helps out so much. I dont regret taking him. Easy class, easy grade.

I took precal and cal 2 with this guy. he is the besst teacher. he really cares about you learning the stuff and he is there for you when you need him. He is also called master T. He is very humble and smart. Take him, he wont handle the A to you but he will make sure you learn and the A will come with it if you do.

GGRREEAATT professor one of my favorites. He explains everything step by step so we can understand better. attendance is not mandatory but you have to go to every class in order to pass the course, print all the notes and put attention and you will end up with an A. he cares about his students' grades.

Silly teacher you need to pay attention and do the homework he gives. So get the book (dont need the math-lab CD).If math is confusing dont miss his class because then you will be lost. He does tend to talk.

this professor is a dork...he tries to make class interesting with jokes. if you dont understand math do not miss class you will be lost. and do the homework because if not you will be lost on his tests.if you do the homework and never miss class you will have a good chance with him. he is a good professor overall. just pay attention

Mr. Meisel was the easily the most enjoyable and helpful math teacher/professor I've ever had!! If you did not get AT LEAST a B it's because you skipped and didn't study. NOT HIS FAULT!!! He was ALWAYS ready to help you after class. As for his jokes, it made math that much more enjoyable!! Seriously take him!!!!

Mr.Meisel is a great teacher. I am taking him for college algebra. we use the book only for homework. he expalins everything step by step. homework is optional but recommended for better understading of subject. His tests are not that hard you just have to memorize formuals. he reviews with the class before exam.

He was a good professor & his work wasn't to hard, you just need to apply yourself. If you failed his class it?s bc you didn't turn in the homework nor studied. he has filled in notes so just in case you miss you can just look at them. You don't need to attend class he just check row to remember your names. He very understanding.

He tries too hard to be funny and he gets distracted easily. His class is a piece of cake though.

Pretty funny makes the class seem a little more fun, but if you're no good at math its kinda bad. NO extra credit. 5 tests, 5 homeworks and a final. Is very helpful though.

This guy will try his best at teaching you to the best of his ability. I would reccommend meisel. Of course NO MATH COURSE IS EASY. But meisel will make it easier. Study, or reaalllyyy pay attention in his class and you should be good. No text book. Just print the pages out on blackboard.

I had struggled with this class before, and by the end of the term I got an A. Mr. Meisel makes math very much understandable, even enjoyable. Even as a summer term, he made the effort to learn everyone's names, and always had a smile to give. If I could take a class with him again I would. I strongly recommend him.

He seemed to be a wonderful algebra teacher. He explained the material in such a comprehensible way, and always made the extra effort to help students with problems they didn't understand.

the material is very easy, well maybe it was for me cause I was still in high school when taking his class. He is a good instructor, funny and very caring, but the way he is very strict on grading exams. He will take points off for every little thing he sees wrong(like forgetting to put a sign). So, his exams are not graded by scantron, but by hand

He's really nice, it's easy to pass but the only negative feedback that I can give is that he doesn't give any extra credit. That's what killed a lot of the students from my class. Overall, it's easy to pass if you prepare and study for the tests. Also, do the homework otherwise you won't be able to pass with an A.

Mr. Meisel explains material at a slow pace for the sake of understanding. He will constantly ask if there are any questions, so ask! Skip class & you will miss a lot of material. Little extra credit, but easy to do and worth it for your final grade. Every test and homework counts a lot! It is doable. He will work with you just communicate!

Mr Meisel is one of the best teachers I've token this semester I use to suck at math! But after I took him it took me a lot of practice but I did it! Just show up to class, do your homework and study and you'll pass!

super nice prof, tries his hardest to make you understand concepts, no test are multiple choice but if your listening and partially know how to do a problem he will give partial credit for getting part of the problem done, if you are scared of algebra this is the professor to take, but plz understand effort is required for a class of this nature.

Professor Meisel is a great teacher! He explains the lessons thoroughly and works similar problems that might be on the exam. He gives hw & you are expected to do it, especially if want to pass since its all practice for the exams. He gives a lot of notes and gives study guides for tests. He's a funny guy and his class was enjoyable.

Mr. Meisel really has a soft heart about his students! He explains everything in detail and makes sure you understand the material. I am not a math whiz, so his class was very helpful! No book required, but you DO have to purchase MyMathLab for homework assignments. Other than that, great professor! NO EXTRA CREDIT, so beware!

By no means is this an easy class, but Mr. Meisel is an excellent teacher who cares for his students. Professor Meisel is such an awesome professor. The way he teaches the math lessons is so easy & you understand them so clearly. I am terrible in math & I passed with an A. Attendance is not mandatory but if you get perfect attendance you get a surprise at the end of the semester. Only homework is on my mathlab. Tests are easy if you apply yourself.

Amazing professor! Weak in math and still managed to understand him due to his amazing teaching! Definitely not boring and doesn't drag on. Took him for a summer class and definitely a fun class! Homework is 100 points, 5 tests w each being 100 points and drops the lowest grade and final was 100 600 points total. Definitely recommended!

Professor Meisel is the best Math teacher I have ever taken. He explains everything with detail, and he is very passionate about what he teaches. I took him for Pre-Calculus during a Summer session, and I'm not going to lie, it was a touch course but I was able to get an A. I look forward to looking for him when I take Calculus II.

This class consist of 4 exams, homework before every exam and the Final! You have to buy mymathlab 100$^ and the homework is done with it. The homework is due on the day of the test. Study the reviews he gives you and you will be fine! Need help? Go to cle

I took him the spring and I do recommend him he is very nice and he does teach very well. I struggle in math so I passed with a C but hes good. You dont need the text book he would have it online for us if we needed it and attendance matters because hell give you extra points in your final grade if youre there everyday I know that helped me!!!

Mr. Meisel is a good professor. Calculus II is not a piece of cake, however, if you work for your grade, you will get what you deserve. His tests are easier than the Homework on MyMathLab.

Ohh yes Mr. Meisel a very loving man. Who cares so much about his family and students. He really does care about others and really is Motivated. He always gets to class right on the dot. All of his test include a page or two full of formulas, gives extra points on Attendance. Totally recommend him

Because it was a Summer class, lots of information was covered and lots of homework was due at the end of the week. Professor was very good with notes and made sure we had access to them on blackboard. Test are reasonable in length and grading system is reasonable. Will always give you study guides for test. He makes class interesting w/ jokes. :)

Mr. Meisel is by far the most nicest, considerate professor I've had. His tests are easy usually 25 questions long and all homeworks are to be taken on My Math Lab. I am still not done with the course but I am sure I will do okay. He is always in a good mood and radiates positivity, great professor!!

He was a good professor, he taught great, but he was pretty annoying. He treated us as if we were little kids. Yes, the class was bright, positive, and fun because of him but it got annoying. If you have little patience like me, don't take him because I got annoyed and upset majority of the semester.

He is super sweet! Encourages you to ask questions. Never shows any sign of being annoyed with you and also has a positive attitude. He also likes to throw in some math humor to keep you upbeat . You do need mymathlab or in my case, mystatlab for homework. His tests come shortly after the lecture so you need to make sure not to get behind.

I'm taking this class online, and even if you couldn't make it to the lecture, he will post the full recording after finishing it. I am not the best when it comes to math, but Professor Meisel makes all the material very easy to understand. If you don't understand something, he's always a message away to help. Apart from being an amazing instructor he is also hilarious. If you get the privilege to be one of his students, you will learn some amazing pickup lines as well!

Took this class online. Only prerecorded lecs, none live. May work for some people, might not work for others. For me, that worked great. I didn't even watch his lectures, just read the chapters from the textbook he sent us a PDF of (major props for the free book). Arranged assignments so you have to do 1/day. Also had an hour everyday for Q&A.

I took Mr. Meisel for online Fall '21 and he is probably THE BEST instructor I have ever had. He is so nice, funny, and cares about his students. He is always available on Pronto and responds within minutes. His homework varies between chapters, but you have all week to complete it. No lockdown browser which is very nice. Overall he's awesome!

Mr. Meisel is a great professor! His lectures are pre-recorded and hw's are due by the end of every week. There is no lockdown browser, but there is a lot of free-response questions on quizzes and exams. I recommend taking him if you can learn and study independently. He also replies through pronto and the final cover's all the material.

He's awesome, gives good feedback, and his instruction is clear. All his lessons have been fun, and I honestly recommend him for anyone taking a final math class. Not to mention he also has a pretty diverse sense of humor. Everything from math versions of nursery rhymes, to also making chicken noises (please bring birdseed and he's your friend)

I took Mr. Meisel for Math 1350 during the summer and he was the best teacher ever. His class was extremely easy. He's available any day through Pronto and helps a lot if you have questions. Please take him. You will not regret it.

I took MATHL 0014 (6 Week Class) with him, one of the easiest classes I have taken. The course material was straightforward: having to read and watch view videos on solving problems. Usually, Gradded items were homework, common assessments (Quizzes), and Exams. Also, there is a Latepass option that you could use if the assignment is overdue.

He's very understanding and helps you as much as you can, his lectures were actually interesting and he makes math seem so easy. Definitely take him, you won't regret it
