He is the essence of man. A sculpted work of art. He should be teaching in the art school. Forget his lectures, who can get that far with all those looks! He is only 28 and recently finished his grad work at UGa where I hear he was quite the ladies man!

i have never even had todd potts yet, he came into my class to do an evulation...his accent is amazing..i was smitten by it...i am sooo looking forward to having him next semester..

A really nice guy who honestly cares about what you learn. He make class fly and is fair in grading. If you make half an effort, you can get an A in there. OH YEAH.. and my g/f thinks he is some BEAUTY GOD or something.

If you make an effort, you will get a good grade in the class. His lectures are very fun and uses "real life" situations. His good looks and charm definitely keeps you awake!

He is good-looking, but not as great as everyone else says. He makes econ as interesting as it can be and curves the tests like crazy. It is very easy to get an "A" if you just come to class1

Good professor. His tests are kind of tricky unless you really know your stuff. Fair grader and likes to give extra credit to those who come to class. He's from the south too. How hot is that? ;)

Todd is the best! Hes always there to help you out. I couldnt get into an econ class, so went to his office and he squeezed me into one of his other classes, but let me attend the class that fit into my schedule! Everyone is right, he is a hottie!

In class quizes, always in his office, very helpful :) He's gonna help you every step of the way and he makes sure everyone understands what he's talking about :) Take him!

I must say this was one of the best classes because of the prof. No homewrok, no book(unless u wanted it) free points 4 coming to class, easy tests, easy quizzes, easy to listen too, lets us out early, no roll call, etc, etc.

I had him for both ECON courses, best teacher I can honestly say to have. He is funny and gives open notes quizzes and bonus for coming to class. Definitely a must take!

Very good professor, however don't count on the curve too much - I did, and ended up not getting the "A" I anticipated. Attend class every day and you should do good. If not, you'll be screwed!

go to class-inclass quizzes, don't talk in class, he is extremelly nice and a great teacher. Other economics classes with different professors I had a hard time understanding information. He makes it very easy to comprehend. Plus you dont have to buy a book!

Great professor. Clearly teaches the material. Gives many easy in-class quizzes. Curves exams. No book. Friendly, caring, and attractive. Highly recommended.

He is very intelligent and presents the material in a very clear manner. He is more than willing to help and wants his students to do well. If you put in the effort you should get a good grade. Besides that he is hilarious, down to earth, and sooooo cute.

He made the class seem very easy and interesting. He connects with students in class very well. He is funny and loves football. If you attend the class (which is not boring at all), do well on the quizes (which are easy), and study for the tests u'll do fine!

had him for both micro and macro. boring subject but he tries his to keep the class interesting and fun. i actually didn't mind the lectures. not the easiest prof but makes it where you have to really screw up to fail. would recommend if you must take econ.

keeps the class interesting & since he's young he's more understanding of what's it's like to be a college student unlike most old teachers who are boring and can't remember that far back. Never put me to sleep during class. cute teacher!!

Tood is a great professor. I really enjoyed having him for both the spring and fall semesters. I got a "C" in his class but that is just because economics is not my bag of tea. Take todd for any econ class that you can.

todd is a cool prof...easy and tries to help b/c he wants u to learn...i got a c but that is my own fault b/c i slacked in the middle of the semester...but if you got to every class and take good notes, the tests wont be to bad ..any econ class that he is available take him

Definitely take Dr. Potts if you can! He keeps things interesting and trys his best to help. Tests are not bad at all, you dont need a book, and he takes little breaks sometimes when he thinks the class needs a break, I would deff. take him again!

a great prof. funny. he knows the info is kind of boring so he takes breaks to tell random stories. he encourages you to ask questions and visit him in his office for help. he curves tests if overall grades are bad. no need to buy the book if you go to class and take notes. can't get lower than 80% on quizzes as long as you take them. awesome prof.

Besides being completely adorable, Potts is actually a pretty good professor. Macro sucks no matter who teaches is, but he does a good job at making it interesting. You don't have to buy the text book, everything is online. I recommend him!

amazingly gorgeous. Industrial Organization was actually a pretty hard class. It took a lot of studying - however the tests were EXTREMELY fair. whatever you covered on the quizzes were on the tests. in class quizzes easy points. learn the concepts not facts and you will do well. take potts!

Cool Professor. Monetary Econ was not bad w/ him. he gives 10-13 quizes, and 3 exams. the quizes make it easy to get an A or B but you have to go to all classes or you'll be screwed. Take him.

Yet another wonderful class with Potts. Awesome Prof. Tests are all essay, so u have to know ur stuff. If u study the notes u will do well. Tests are very similar to quizes. Come to all classes because in class pop quizes are 25% of ur grade. Don't buy the book, I never touched it once. Fun prof plus hes absolutely gorgeous. What more could u want?

This man is amazing! He's a great professor who will go out of his way to make sure you understand the material. he is amazingly good looking with an adorable accent. he took over mid term for prof. julian and i must say even though julian was awesome it potts is just as fun and even more fun to look at. tests were easy and his lecturing is lively! i am taking him next semester and so looking foward to it!

He took over Julian's class midway when Julian had to leave. Did great in that situation, was very energetic and clear. Kind of a dork, but in all the good ways. Wasn't too challenging, but did learn a good bit. Recommended.

Macro, monetary, and sports. Had a minor in econ. Best prof I've had at IUP. Go to class, take notes everyday, and the tests will be as straight forward as they possibly could be! Books not needed. Tests directly from notes. Makes learning ECON very easy.

ECON 121,325,331. By far the best ECON teacher. You do NOT need to buy the books, HW is done online, and tests are only on what is covered in class notes. Potts does a good job teaching the material and is always available during office hours. I would take every class from him if it was possible!

Potts is an AMAZING professor! He is nice and funny. He actually cares about his students and will always make room for questions/discussion just to make the class more enjoyable. He also knows what he is talking about and will take the time to explain the material. Its was a hard class but i am glad i took it with him.

Defnitely take Dr. Potts for any economics courses! I loved that he wrote notes while he was lecturing. Tests were a little tricky, but only class notes are covered. I didn't use my textbook at all, but you must buy aplia code for HW. Also, Hw bonus assignments have some of the exact questions. He also gives random bonus points for attendance.

Potts is the man! Funny dude that makes economics as interesting as possible. Tests aren't easy, you definitely have to study, but it's worth it. I would take him for every econ class if I could. Also, he curves the homework by multiplying your grade by 1.5 (aka you only need a 67% to get 100%). Take the class.

Dr. Potts is awesome! he hand writes his notes so you can keep up with the lectures. He only puts the information he writes down on the notes on the tests. I usually receive a B on the tests with little studying. He GENEROUSLY curves the homework points that you get every week and the same goes for the tophat questions. He is awesome! Take him!

Dr. Potts is such a nice guy. He is naturally quirky and funny. I would definitely take him again. Uses TopHat, but attendance isn't mandatory. Curves everything.

Great at breaking things down and explaining in detail. Really down to earth and pretty funny. Doesn't grade harshly at all. I didn't use the textbook at all though and it was pretty expensive.

I had him for Monetary Economics, which is a fairly difficult class. Every class he writes out notes on the document cam. Test material will only come from the notes, which is nice (no extra studying of the textbook). He is a funny, upbeat professor who is passionate about economics. He's always smiling, who gets that happy from ECON?? 10/10 prof

I took Dr. Potts for both of my principles classes. I can say that I learned a lot and had to work for my grade. I would highly recommend him for anyone taking an econ class because of how the class is ran. He hand writes the notes on the doc cam, and only what is covered in class is eligible for any exam.

He is a great guy. He boosts the grades by crazy amounts. You have to try to get even a C. Just come to class and take notes. You'll pass. A minor annoyance though, he comes to class a minute or two late each time. Do not buy the book. I never took it out of my room.

This was a really good class to take right after taking the principles classes. There is no calculus, the lectures are very organized, he does not ramble, and I think it is one of those "you get back what you put in" classes. The exams can be challenging, but just make sure you know the general formulas and graphs. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK

Easy A, show up to class, you definitely pass. You have to be absolutely dumb to fail his class. Extremely curved test grades and a helpful weighting scale.

Dr. Potts was a great professor this semester. His notes are extremely specific, but if you take good notes, you should be prepared for tests. He gives bonus questions on D2l and drops your two lowest homework scores--tests are problem-solving heavy, but closely mirror the notes. He's affable and interesting--don't be afraid to take his classes!

LOVE HIM! One of my favorites. I am not a fan of economics, but he made the class fun. There are 3 tests and a couple problem sets. The problem sets are similar to the open-ended test questions. The tests have multiple choice as well. Take him!! He makes it so easy to understand economics.

Potts is a good guy. The class consists of 3 exams and homework. Only basic math skills are required for this class. If you study for the exams and do the homework you'll be fine. He gives you the online textbook for free. He uses tophat. He gets really pissed when people walk in and out during his lectures. He always shows up like 5 minutes late

my first professor and class I took at iup and it was great. the material is a lot but he teaches well and try to engage and move at a good pace; was willing to stop and further explain if we needed. used top hat, and our textbook was free. overall one of the friendlier and more professional professors I've met so far. would recommend.
