"You must dedicate a min of 12 hours ekly to pass my class w/ a C" famous quote by Roberts His lec are in lamens terms that are quite diff from the txtbk and extremely diff from his quizes/ exams Txtbks arent allowed during class He states how difficult it was 4 him (raised in Compton)2 obtain a PHD, & my opinion "his students pay 4 his pain"

Did I 4get to mention nearly 3/4's of our class were his repeated students that were still experiencing a great deal of difficulty My counselor recommended i drop his class Other staff members recommend we take Resendez he's far more passionate about teaching the course DO NOT TAKE ROBERTS FOR ANY SCIENCE CLASS he is extremely difficult

DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS! He does not answer emails, does not give any feedback whatsoever. His lectures are figures from the book. Leaves at least 100 questions of online homework. Does not prepare you for the nursing program. take another professor. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS! I feel bad for the lab professor (Haas)

Do not take this professor. He does not communicate with the class, gives random face-to-face exams, and assigns so much homework. Does not respond to emails. You never know what is happening.

HORRIBLE PROFESSOR! AVOID TAKING HIS CLASS! DOESN'T HELP YOU AT ALL, YOU BASICALLY HAVE TO TEACH YOURSELF. HE DOESN'T ANSWER QUESTIONS, HE WILL TELL YOU TO READ TO BOOK AND FIGURE IT OUT. HIS TEST ARE INSANE. 100 MULTIPLE CHOICE, 7 ESSAY QUESTIONS, WILL TAKE YOU THE FULL 3 HOURS.

Took Bio5 Fall '16. Two occasions where the program closed down/froze I was not able to finish the tests and I was graded for the questions I completed. Received F's for both of those tests. Messaged Prof Stewart numerous of times and he never replied. Come to find out I wasn't the only student he never replied to in that semester, B final grade.

Really nice man but HORRIBLE TEACHER. I havent learned a thing in his class this semester. Hes all over the place and gives random test. I would never take another class of his again.

Hate his teaching or lack there of style. DO NOT TAKE HIM! Professor Roberts is 100 times better. I got a A in his class. Roberts is all over the place.

Good guy but terrible Professor. By far the most unorganized professor I have ever encountered. I did not learn ANYTHING from him, I taught myself in his class. He will NOT reply to your emails and will answer your questions/doubts with sarcasm and another questio. Don't take him.

DON'T DO IT! This class was my worst nightmare. He was very inconsistent about test dates or when we would grade or upload documents. He uses questions from other sources (internet, other books etc.) on quizzes and tests. So you might see a question and be totally confused. He teaches as if you already know the topic.

Taking him for a online Physiology class. Hes awful! The class is suppose to be 3.5 hours a work during a week. It take you 3 hours to complete 1 assignment. Really considering withdrawing from this class. This professor doesnt even respond to my emails.

Honestly, he's one of the worst teachers I've ever encountered in my academic life. He's very unorganized, he's all over the place, doesn't upload grades on time, puts half effort into his lectures, and doesn't respond to his emails at all. The fact that he's the Department of Chair in Science is blasphemy.

He's the Department Chair but is the worst instructor I've ever had. Provides no feedback, doesn't return tests, lies about office hour availability. If it weren't for his lab instructor, I wouldn't have learned anything. He's arrogant also. AVOID THIS INSTRUCTOR AT ALL COSTS.

Hes super unorganized. Hes always late to class. Very unprepared. One day hes talking about cells the next day hes talking about PH levels. Hes honestly all over the place. His quizzes dont even make sense as the questions on there are based on nothing youve learned. Not that you even learn in his class anyways. 1000/1000 DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

TERRIBLE good chunk of the class dropped within the first day of class because NO ONE understood what work was assigned , when to turn it in or where to submit it. He doesnt respond to most emails. The reading he assigns does not cover a majority of test or quizzes. Beware taking online, he would give us 10 mins for 15Q quiz That had freeresponse

So where do I even begin? I would take heed and really believe these negative reviews. I chose to ignore them because I thought to myself I could pass Dr. Roberts class if I apply myself 100% to the course. I was wrong. I was VERY wrong! It got so bad I had to record lectures as proof he doesn't know what he is saying. DO NOT TAKE HIM!!

BEWARE students , he is far far the hardest professor at all LACCD community colleges. I know because I've took this class at Pierce, Valley, City, Trade... He will never respond to emails, will answer back by mid-semester. He proctors the exams, hes looking at you thru the camera. U have 150 questions to complete in 70 minutes. Good Luck Y'all!!!

Never responds emails, all reviews are TRUE!!! I'm an A student, and I received my first Fail with Roberts. The proctoring exams thru canvas are annoying they crash and they close our exams. To receive an F. He's the Bio-Department Chair, and his class is mad annoying and Hard. Super unorganized, I will report him to the college President.

I took for online Spring20, he assigns random proctored Exams. U need a camera, or you can not take it. He makes the material 4 times harder than it all ready is. Worst professor ever. Students your DUMB if you register to his class. He will fail you, if you do not have a camera, STAY AWAY FROM HIM. HE is the worst professor in HISTORY.

This was definitely the worst professor i have had to take a class with. you will have to teach yourself, read the book, and be expected to have knowledge on things that were never gone over. HE DOES NOT LECTURE OR GIVE STUDY GUIDES. i was in his class for half the semester and dropped. super unorganized. believe me when i say youll be lost.

Does not respond to messages and if he does, very late with no response to the actual question asked. Leaves exaggerating amounts of Labsters and quizzes. Very unorganized. Will not recommend. Please do not take. I am a straight A student and got a B in this class.

I was confused when the class started , and I was still confused when it was over. Worst professor I have ever had. All students failed the first exam yet he changed the grade of some students but not others . Just bad.

PLEASE, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NEGATIVE REMARKS ABOUT THIS PROFESSOR. He's very unorganized. Exams and assignments aren't always accessible. His blase attitude is shocking. He assigned too much work for exams on the wrong tested chapters. slow response to emails. I wish I would have taken heed of the reviews on the teaching style of this teacher.

He's nice enough as a person but his "classroom" is unbelievably disorganized. Trying to find anything on Canvas is impossible. Literally hundreds of links with no order to them, nothing is dated (including assignments), there is no calendar showing what we are working on at any given moment, & he's ignored requests to fix any of these issues.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR NURSING MAJORS. First 6 chapters are not based on human biology. This is actually a hybrid-class. Very disorganized. 7 of the important human chapters are crammed into 1 week! Labs were irrelevant to the chapters I had to read. He seems nice, but I had to drop the class because it was too much. His slides don't help either.

I thought the reviews were an exaggeration, Nope they were telling the truth. Get ready 2 teach yourself EVERYTHING. Mr.Todd is useless!! We never went over any of the material & talk about unorganized. He gets an A in UNorganization. He does not respond to emails, texts, calls, or smoke signals. Save yourself a lot of headaches DO NOT TAKE HIM!!

Please believe the comments. He is TERRIBLE! He assigns all of this work and doesn't teach a thing. I literally had a break down crying because I failed my first test he said 90 mins I was given 60 mins. He also put that it was on chapter 10,11,12.13 for the first week then said 1,2,3,4 needless to say you will be so confused.

I just withdraw from his class. It is only 1 week of the modules but it is overwhelming. He just throw everything and its very unorganized. Took the exam from chapter 2-5 and exam is not relevant to the lecture and i failed it. He does not answer emails and inbox message. Lab is so hard that you have to do it urself. I do not recommend him at all!

AVOID THIS PROFFESOR AT ALL COST!!!! It's not worth the stress of taking his class. He is RIDICULOUSLY unorganized and puts no due dates on anything, he doesn't answer his messages, big unit test are proctored(meaning you have to show your face). Quizzes are long and you only get 10 min. If you can just take another professor, please.

course is very disorganized and professor is never clear on what assignments, due dates or material we are covering. lectures are all over the place and so are the labs. no sense of direction or help when it comes to helping with labs. guessing what grade u will get at the end of semester. chaotic and stressful setting.practically guiding urself
