best teacher in the world. tried to get in drugs and the criminal justice system this semster but there was negative 3 seats lol. hopefully ill get in it next semester. highly recommended!

He's a lot of fun & the class really gets you involved. He makes sure every1 is involved & the topics always get good discussions going...I wouldn't have minded if the class had lasted longer.

One of the most best and interesting professors I've had here at NU. His lectures and class discussions are awesome. Gets students invovled which makes the class fly by. His mid-term and final are from the class notes, and some small reading from the book. Can't wait until I have him for this class at the graduate level.

One of the easiest graduate courses you'll ever take that deals with Crime and Media! You watch the news a lot as well as listen to music and watch other movies as well! A small presentation, 2 10 page papers, and a final exam which are easy. Make sure you do the reading, papers and final are based off the reading which are not long and are easy.

Dr. Schoepflin makes learning fun and promotes class/professor interaction. He gains the students' attention by thoroughly and effectively providing appropriate information conducive to the topic at hand. HE IS A GREAT PROFESSOR!

He's the best teacher I've had so far, and his teaching made me declare sociology as a minor! I loved his class & am taking another this semester! I recommend it even if you dont need to!

Todd is with out a doubt a great man. He is funny and his class might be the easiest thing you will do with your life. I must admit though that the material was outrageously dry and lacking substance. In his classes he caters to a low brow audience, so don't expect to be very stimulated with complex conversation. if you want an easy A, go for it.

Great professor who knows what he is talking about and not afraid to bring up controversial topics to get the class talking! It should be a requirement for every Niagara student to take him and our school is lucky to have him.

By far the best teacher at Niagara! he is so nice and kind. I had the best time taking his SOC 101 class! this was a great class with some excellent debates! I would recommend this class for anyone! Such a fun, easy, and interesting class!

He is the absolute BEST professor at Niagara University!!! He's the nicest man you will encounter here and he truly, truly cares about his students and Sociology. I loved this class. The lectures were very interesting and he engaged students a lot and he was open to whatever students wanted to say. He didn't care about swearing or anything or any comments that people may feel like were inappropriate . Very chill teacher and I loved him.

Schoepflin is the man. The man is outrageously funny and has a great time with his students. He really interacts with everyone and gets to know more about you. On top of that, his class is very, very easy. Two tests and a 5 page paper. Would absolutely take again. Favorite professor I've had yet.

He's a great teacher. If this is your first SOC class then you want to take him but SIGN UP EARLY BECAUSE HIS CLASS FILLS VERY QUICKLY.

Amazing professor. His class was laid back, tests are easy as long as you look over the study guide and skim the book, and he responds to emails in less than 10 minutes. He's very up to date with the media and uses real life examples in his class. He has a true passion for teaching and sociology in general and it really shows through his lectures.

Amazing human take him if you can. Classes are all discussion based and he creates a welcoming environment to share without feeling uncomfortable. His 3 tests are based of his "textbook" which is just a series of short stories so its so fun and easy to read. Todd is one of NU greatest professors. I hope to take many more classes with him.

Awesome professor. Take him if you can. Very helpful, and responsive, and understanding. You'll pass. Makes all material interesting, and keeps you engaged the entire time! Dr. Schoepflin is extremely helpful and always ready to teach. Hands down one of the best professors at Niagara University. His classes are super interesting and he has a phenomenal teaching style.

Hands down my favorite professor on the campus! His lectures are not dull whatsoever and are very modernized. He is a major part of why I declared a minor in Sociology. He offers several extra credit assignments throughout the semester. You'll have a final paper for the course and he is more than willing to look it over before you turn it in. 10/10

Todd is the best professor I have ever had. He is such a kind guy, he really gets to know you. He appreciates and encourages class discussion and participation. He doesn't use a textbook, he has you read linked articles in his online syllabus for every class. Exams are stupid easy. Show up, listen to the lectures and you will pass. Only one paper.

Dr. Schoepflin is a really down to earth guy and a just a great professor. He really cares about his students and wants to see everyone succeed in the end. The workload isnt heavy at all with just 3 tests including the final and 2 papers. Not to mention his lectures are great. Would definitely recommend taking one of his courses

There's two books to read. He breaks up assignments to make them manageable. No difficulty, can't fall behind. He is a great professor.

He is one of the best professors ive had at NU so far. Ive taken his classes for 3 semesters in a row. Hes a total gem, very caring, very understanding and overall a great person.

Professor Schoepflin truly cares about his students. Understands mental health issues, only 5 short assignments the entire semester, no tests, keeps lectures interesting and engaging. If you need extra time on an assignment hes willing to give you time. Also gives days off of class occasionally for mental health and for working hard lol

I've taken 2 classes with Dr. Schoepflin now and he might be the best professor I took during my undergraduate. Not only is his class interesting, but he treats students with respect and doesn't look down on us like some profs do. If you need help or have any problems he understands. Take him if you have the chance you wont regret it.

He is respectful of his students and is incredibly kind. This is my first semester here and his class is one of my favorites. Its a class discussion and is just overall very enjoyable.

He is a amazing professor, very genuine guy. There was no tests in this class. Theres a reading every class day but you honestly dont need to read it. There was only four assignments based on reading but he posts his notes. Theres a final but he does two days of review and practically tells you the questions to the final.

He's incredibly kind and considerate. He genuinely cares about his students and listens to to what they have to say. He doesn't give many assignments and is understanding to each student.

I've had Schoepflin for SOC101, and SOC280 now. He's the best professor at Niagara. Hes always interested in what you have to say, and loves it when students chat with him. Hes very approachable if you ever need help, are missing class,etc. He allows you to use flashcards on the exams, which are very straight forward.

Will be one of the best professors/human beings you will ever meet. If you have any interest in sociology, taking a class with him is a must. Very approachable if you ever have questions or just want to chat

Schoephlin is the best professor ever, I've had him twice now and he has made class enjoyable and fun. He has intellectual conversations with his students and is very lenient when it comes to missing class due to things happening. Not just a great professor, a great person overall and would be friends with him after college haha

I will forever say he is the best professor at NU. I have taken 3 classes with him and never once did i complain about going. He actually makes it known he wants to hear what you have to say, and gives amazing feedback on every conversation you have. The class is also very interesting.

The best sociology professor at Niagara University. I learned so much from his classes. He is super caring and open-minded. Made me regain my love for sociology after a bad experience with the other sociology professor. I strongly recommend people to take him for Soc 101.
