I don't think you guys are giving this teacher enough credit. I think his lectures are very clear and organized. He always asks if the class has any questions, and he grades his tests super easy. He doesn't waste class time teaching what you won't need

He is really a great teacher. The people who complain are the people who slack and don't do their homework. He answers any questions you have and doesn't make you feel stupid for being wrong. He does tend to pick the same people to answer questions.

Don't yawn in his class or fall asleep...he'll call you out! Gives online quizzes that are a little tough. VERY helpful if you go to his office. He makes sure that you leave his office with a better understanding of the material.

This class is tough, but Dr. Will is so nice and very willing to help. Feel free to go to him even if you're not sure why you're having trouble.

Funny man with lots of quirks. Teaches off of Mathematica notes, and also prints them off for the class. Extremely helpful in my opinion, but it depends on your learning style. Sometimes he is very focused on proofs, but he goes over the ones for tests at least 2-3 times in class so it's easy to know which ones will be on the exams.

Great guy! This class was easier that Calc 2 was. He uses mathematica a lot which is helpful for class notes, and wants students to learn how to use it as well. Get familiar with is as soon as possible! He does a great job outlining tests for the most part and proofs do show up so study them a lot!! Overall he is very helpful, just ask!

I'm not a math person, but I pulled off a B in this class without a ton of work. Your grade is based on tests and quizzes only, but you pretty much know what will be on them.

I took calc 2 times before this, but had to drop it for various reasons. He is by far the best calc teacher i've had. He actually made calculus easy for me to understand unlike other teachers. Not saying it is easy, Do the homework!!!!

He probably is my favorite teacher, besides Katchee. He is very helpful and clear on what he wants. Just do the homework and I guarantee an A.

Dr. Will is a pretty decent professor. He will do proofs but warns you if they will be on tests. He sometimes seems as if he doesn't know what the answer to the problems hes doing but he does. A good professor (and i am not a fan of math).

Very nice and helpful. DO YOUR HOMEWORK...it's not graded but it will really help you know what you're doing when it comes to the tests and quizzes, which can be challenging.

Todd Will is definitely a smart guy, but he doesn't really know how to teach a class. It is extremely obvious that he knows what he is doing, but just can't explain it to well. If you are looking to do all the work on your own for a good grade take this class, I would recommend you to do all the homework if you want a decent grade.

Professor gives extra help when you go and see him. Gives HW but doesnt grade it. I suggest to do the daily HW. The exams will come much easier. Exams have only minimal questions with many points to each one, if you dont know one problem, it could cost you a letter grade for the exam. His final is a beast, try a diff prof if you can.

Dr.Will is a great stats professor. He is always willing to help student if you make any effort at all. Your ticket to his office hours are to be in class. So if you attend regularly and pay attention he will help you out. Tests are tough but he is great about giving partial credit if you mess something up but demonstrate you understand.

I can't think of someone that would be better at teaching this class. He really helps students understand the concepts of calculus.

Overall, Dr. Will was the best math professor I've had in my math major so far. Calc 3 was not my strong suit, but Dr. Will made it intelligible. It's still a hard class, but I really appreciated his teaching style and how he would go over more examples if the class was confused--even if we didn't ask for them.

Todd Will is awesome..he has a funny kind of humor. I wasnt looking forward to taking stats but he made it tolerable. Cool teacher..prretty reasonable for tests and quizzes

He's a pretty cool/funny guy with an oddly funny/quirky sense of humor. Although his teaching style is a little hard to follow at times, his stats class is the first math class I've really understood since middle school. He does do a good job, just make sure you keep up on material and come to class, as he's not very predictable with his quizzes!!

He is a very boring teacher to listen to, but he makes all the information clear. He gives quizzes weekly unless a test is that week. He grades hard, but he goes over all needed information. Stats is not an easy class, but if you put your time in studying with Professor Will you will pass

Make sure that as soon as you're confused you go get help from him. After I went to his office once to ask for help I never had trouble understanding what was going on in the class again. One downer: surprise quizzes. None of them are super difficult if you do homework though.

At the beginning of the semester, he didn't explain things in a comprehensible way, but as the semester went on he became much more helpful. He does give you surprise quizzes, and doesn't really like people going to his office for help, but if you do the homework you'll do fine!

I had Will for stats class. He is a quirky guy. Can be kind of boring, and has a wierd sence of humor. Overall he taught the class well. Very picky with wordings towards end of semester though, and you have surprise quizes. If you do homework and can stay awake for class, he really isnt that bad! His socks and sandals always made me smile.

Great professor so far! Loves participation and questions. Takes attendance. Quizzes on Wednesday or Thursday every week. Not hard to get an A as long as you pay attention and put in some effort outside of class. Curves exams.

Not sure why people are being so harsh.. his grading system is awesome. Tests/quizzes/final are all weighted the same. You can drop your lowest 3 quizzes and 1 test and replace them with your final exam %. He posts last semester's exams and quizzes for practice. He is always willing to help and lectures are clear. I never had to touch the text!

I get what others are saying about his teaching being all over the place at times, but if you pay attention and put in time you will do fine. Dont bother with the homework from the book, its nothing like his questions and doesn't help. Go to class, study his past quizzes and exams online, & you will do just fine. Plus you get to hear is awk jokes

Dr. Will is awesome! He was really helpful and his notes via Mathematica were available online for clarification after class or before tests. He was always willing to do extra problems and examples to clear things up for the class. Definitely take him!

Dr. Will will put in effort if you put in effort. Ask lots of questions, attend class, and show interest and he will be an awesome professor. ASK QUESTIONS! He will do as many examples as you want, as long as you ask for them. I love Dr. Will!

If you attend class, and pay attention, this class should be a guaranteed B or higher. He puts all the previous exams and quizzes on the google drive for you to practice. He goes through countless exams of what you will see on exams and quizzes, there is no surprises. Ask questions he is very helpful.

Stats is a hard class, but he is very friendly, approachable and helpful. Very few required assignments and quizzes are usually group quizzes or he tells you exactly what to prepare for. Tests are hard, the final was what brought my grade down. No notes, notecard, etc. Gives you topics to review and emphasizes what you really need to know.

There are no surprises with Dr. Will. He tells you if something will be on the test, and how to do it specifically. If you pay attention in class, you will do fine. Dr. Will goes over many examples in class which is helpful. He is an awkward kind of funny which makes lectures bearable.

If you are a math person, this class is a breeze. I don't usually understand probabilities but Dr. Will made it really easy. He had a lot of take home and partner quizes. I would recomend him.

Dr. Will can be a little quirky at times, but overall he is a good professor. I struggled for a C in calc 2, and got an AB in calc 3 no problem. NEVER SKIP CLASS, as lectures are very important. Dr. Will is a Math professor, so of course his class is going to be hard. However, for not knowing anything about statistics, he really taught me a lot! He has plenty of office hours and gives chances to ask questions in class. Also, he is unintentionally funny at times, so that lightened things up in the class!

The downside is he doesn't put grades up on D2l so you will have to keep track of all your scores. He is always willing to answer questions during class. Once I adjusted to his use of Mathematica for lectures, the class wasn't too hard. Lots of homework, but usually graded on completion. No feedback on what you did wrong on homework or exam problems, but does go over answers in class. 4 tests, including the final, counted for 85% of your grade, so need to do well on those to get a good grade.

Practice exams and quizzes are on line. Don't skip and you should do fine.

Uses mathematica files for presentations which go too fast sometimes but they are all online for review later if you miss something. Tries hard to make things clear but doesn't always succeed.

Don't be scared away by other bad reviews. Professor Will really cares about his students. He's really lenient in grading and will find a way to give you the most points possible. Do all of the assigned homework and you will get an A (quiz and exam problems come from the homework!!)

Dr. Will is one of the best math professors I have had. He always gives a chance to ask homework questions in class and has frequent office hours. If you have never taken a calc class before, you may struggle just because there is some difficult concepts to understand, however I you reach out for help he will definitely provide it.

Dr. Will is awesome. He is one of the best math professors/teachers I have ever had. He wants to help his students succeed and will make time to meet with students outside of class and office hours. He is also a lenient grader on exams. There are quizzes between exams where you can earn points back on exams by doing the quiz correctly. TAKE HIM!

Dr. Will is a great person. His dry sense of humor never failed to get a smile in class. He uses Mathematica to teach his lectures, which at first may be overwhelming, but the graphics it produces are incredible. The homework isn't graded, but you need to do it in order to succeed. I would take him again, but I would work harder next time!

A little unorganized and not very prepared sometimes. He made a lot of mistakes in teaching. 4 tests and a cumulative final make up your entire grade. Tests are very easy. He didnt explain very much so it might be difficult if you dont have math skills or understanding of it.

Professor Will is by far one the best math teachers I've ever had. He is invested in his students' success. He's very funny and easy to talk to, so getting help is easy. Your grade depends on a few exams, but you should definitely do the homework because he bases his tests on book assignments. I would highly recommend Prof. Will.

Gave a lot of practice problems to prepare for exams. We had quizzes once a week but they were used to help boost your exam grade. I would recommend Todd Will and I would take his class again

Dr. Will is truly one of the most caring professors I've ever met. He has 3 pre-calc classes with 60 people in each and he makes sure that he knows everyone by name. He works with the pace the class needs to go and makes himself available whenever needed. He's super funny and likes to make jokes. Your grade for the class is strictly tests though.

Calc 2 is the hardest of the Calculus classes, but Dr. Will makes it better! His approach for note-taking is different for any other math professor, because he does it online most of the time. It is helpful because you can look back on lectures from class. He gives in-class participation points which are like extra credit points on tests!

Dr. Will is a nice guy and a good professor. His class is hard but manageable. If you do not understand something and ask a question. He is easy to work with and covers all the material well.

Dr. Will is honestly one of the nicest professors I know, and such a caring dude. The course does get difficult at times but if you put in effort during class and go to office hours when you have questions he is always there to help. He is super patient and challenges you in a productive way. Should 100% take the man the myth the legend Todd Will.

He is very funny and easy to follow during his lectures. The tests also arent bad, but you definitely need to study a little bit. Doing the homework helps a lot because he usually puts problems on the tests that are very similar to the homework problems. Just go to class, and you should pass!

Dr. Will was a solid MTH151 professor. The biweekly group quizzes are pretty easy, and help to understand the material. If you skip class you can watch his lectures on his YouTube. You also get a cheat sheet for exams which helps a lot. The class is a lot do work for a 100 level but if you put in the work you should be fine!

Overall I liked Dr. Will's teaching style; it was hit or miss with most people. The only downfall to this class is each exam, including the final, is worth 15% each. Meaning tests are worth 75% of the final grade, The final exam grade can replace the worst exam grade. 90% of the homework was not too long or tedious.

There is an assignment due almost always 4 nights a week. He is not a tough grader at all though for the assignments, so that helps. Grades tests the same day. Very helpful in office hours and available most days. Is pretty good at explaining, and good at answering questions. It is a hard class but I enjoyed Dr Will very much as a professor.

Very funny guy, he's very good at going through examples in class. He encourages questions and isn't a super hard grader. Most of the quizzes that he gives he will give 20/20's even if you don't get every question right. Attendance isn't required but it is very useful to go to class as often as possible. Overall, pretty good professor

I really liked his class when I had him last spring for Calc III. He teaches and explains things very well and gives time in class to ask questions. I would definitely take again. Calc III was by far my favorite level of calculus.

Professor Todd was hands down the best professor I have ever had. Throughout high school I extremely struggled with math until I had Professor Todd. He is funny and will tell you about his dog during lecture and is always asking questions about you and your life. He is extremely helpful. He grades the same day and will always go over tests.

Dr. Will is a pretty polarizing guy; you either love him or you don't. I found him to be a solid professor, with good lectures and a pretty manageable workload. Online quizzes after each class and group quizzes every so often, but nothing too hard. If you're able to grasp what you're learning, you should have no problem passing his class.

His teaching style is different, especially for math. It would be difficult to take the class without an iPad since he lectures through his laptop. There were 4 exams, plus the final cumulative exam. The quizzes are done with a partner and the people around you, and you can take them home and turn them in the next day. Also Zoom records every class

Dr. Will's class was great and he was always there to help or clarify things. He does a lot of reviews in preparation for exams. If you're having trouble with a section ask him and you'll do just fine in the class.
