Glad I took Tom. Funniest prof I ever had. In this institution we are surrounded by academia types like Roscoe and Felton, a couple of country boys who are perfect examples of the knowledge base, yet no real world application. Tom Terrific is the opposite

He's extremely funny and the class is a piece of cake. You will definitely be glad that you signed up for this one. Get to know him..he's a really nice guy. If you need help, just ask him he's very helpful! :)

In BLR 222, summer one, Dr. Anthony asked for a tamale rating. In the fall, he was a little more strict. Dont just pay attention to the notes he puts on the board, but the on-the-side things he says. Be prepared for a difficult first quiz.

Very interesting teacher, makes class fun.

In the beginning I wasn't sure about Tom or the way he taught the class, but once i got used to him his class was a blast and he is a pretty funny guy too.

Tom is a pretty cool guy. He actually makes me want to be a lawyer. He doesn't cover a lot of material from the textbook, but his tests are still pretty REEEEEEAAASONABLE! Overall a very good prof.

Anthony has a very good sense of humor. Plan on reading the textbook yourself and learning it. If you have questions make sure you ask, he is very helpful. He curves his exams so if study a decent amount you'll do well. CLEARLY a good prof to take.

AWESOME!! Take him! He might not cover EVERYTHING in class that is on his test-- but since he lets you have a piece of paper front and back of notes during the test-- there is no reason you can jot down a few notes. CLEARLY he is a great teacher!

He rather spontaneous with things which makes class fun. He doesn't lecture much, but he does cover material. He mostly expects you to do the reading he puts down in the syllabus. He tells you what's on the tests and has many group tests to prepare.

Great Teacher very funny

The class is fun and goes by quickly, but it's hard to know where you really stand in the class because he doesn't hand anything back and doesn't use blackboard so you never know your grade. Fairly easy class.

Reminded me of the penguin from the original batman movie with his voice. Has a one of a kind sense of humor and likes to digress a lot into his professional endeavors. Tests are pretty hard, but he curves a lot and if he sees you try hard you'll end up with a good grade.

Good, fair teacher. He is very unclear about the material that had to be known for tests, however, so watch out with that. Go to class, put in effort, and you'll do fine.

Hit the main points, but PAY ATTENTION to the SIDE NOTES he makes, they are the key points he places on his exams. Great Guy...don't let him kid ya. He'll take the time to help you, dont be afraid to approach this softy.

If you know how to study your fine. Read the assignments from the sylabus and the class isnt too bad. The people who get in troble grade wise are those who want everything spoon fed to them. His classes are very enjoyable and never boaring

Very Fair Teacher. Put in a good amount of effort and you will earn an A or B. Did the work and got around B's on all tests, ended up with an A.

funny what other people say, just a professor who teaches a college class like a college class. expects attendance and wants participation. if you talk to him after class he'll help with whatever needed. could class to take for yourself as a person to take you out of your comfort zone. Law isnt always main topic but this class will teach alot

Tom Anthony is an awesome professor. His examples will crack you up! If you don't like him at first, give it a couple of weeks. He grows on you! Highly recommended! Very easy class if you SHOW UP, DO THE WORK, and TRY! He doesn't expect perfection, just effort. If you like attendance based classes, take him!

CLEARLYYYY the best prof at CMU. i loved every minute of this class, he grows on you. Exams are fair if you go to class and read the book. if he learns your name, watch out for the rest of the semester.

Anthony is a person who you will either like or dislike right away, however, most people tend to like him. He does grow on you, so even if you dont like him at first, stick with him. Class is tough, but he gives a curve. Very helpful and easy to understand. Sick to say, but going to class was fun.

The one comment is correct, you will enjoy going to class. Professor Anthony relates to the students and makes class interesting and fun. Don't think that you can just go to class and get an A tho, you still need to read the book and study the notes. But you have to do that for every class, and this ones FUN!!

Nice guy, not the best teacher. I mostly taught myself everything for the class. He likes to talk a lot in class but it is pretty interesting. Allows you to use 1 sheet of paper front and back as a cheat sheet for tests. Outline the chapters on the cheat sheet and you'll do great.

Fantastic teacher, prior to this class i had no interest in law, and after taking Anthony im getting a legal studies minor. He keeps classes very interesting, allows you to use a cheat sheet, tests are long but pretty easy.

Gives very engaging, interesting lectures. The work often seems difficult, however he doesn't expect to see anything amazing and often grades fairly; sometimes with too much of a curve. The class is pretty loosely organized but you get out of it what you put in (as it should be, in my mind.) Would definitely take him again.

He was funny, always made jokes, don't take him too seriously because he's always kidding around, if you ask for a test he will give you one so don't joke back lol, don't rely soley on notes & make sure you read the book, not a very difficult class as long as you attend. Great teacher! Lectures can be kind of scattered, but he is very helpful and gives you ALL of the information needed for the tests. I reccomend you read, and don't take his critisim too seriously, he's got an odd, yet funny, sense of humor.

i have had tom for BLR 202,235, and 302...and there is a reason for that..he is the man..yes, he has an obvious sense of humor and if you take it personally you are what he calls a "dillweed"..however he will teach you things you need to know for the rest of your life..if you come to class and pay attention..you will get an A..and learn alot

By fair my favorite Prof!!! I'm not even going into anything related to business law, but he made this class SO much fun! Despite all the jokes and fun I did learn a lot especially for having no prior knowledge of the subject he made everything very clear and grade VERY fair!

This class is pretty easy, most of the exams were take home, the notes and google covered most of the questions asked. He doesn't require that you attend, but it would be in your best interest. If you don't understand, go to his office hours, he will explain.

Hes nuts. Extremely whitty. You'll learn a lot, but not necessarily about Law. He keeps the class entertaining. The LOWEST grade you can get on anything is a 60% so you wont fail. Take him unless you hate being "goofy-ly picked on" in class.

This guy is awesome. He is definetly an attorney..haha He is loud and unpredictable and very smart. I looked forward to going to this class everyday. He tries his best to make it easy on you to learn as much as possible. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Just finished this class today- Dr. A. is awesome- if you are willing to show up and do the work. True- his test questions can be tricky but if you know your material, it's still an easy A. Highly recommend.
