Nice teacher, but the course he teaches is hard!

hE COULD BRAKE THINGS DOWN TO A MORE UNDERSTANDING LEVEL. nEEDS TO REALIZE THAT HIS STUDENT ARE BEGINNERS AND ARE LEARNING bIO AT THIS LEVEL FOR THE FITST TIME.
Tough class. He is very helpful and a nice guy. His jokes make learning about cranial nerves and what not a lot easier!
I must say that he is a fairly intelligent individual, but unlike his brain, his social skills haven't "evolved" yet. When it comes to where we came from,he doesn't know his butt from the hole he evolved from!
He is very hard, heard he was a great teacher but there would be no way I would ever take him again! Don't care to hear jokes about his exwife!
He's not easy but a good teacher

He's very tough, his jokes are corney, but he is very fair.
I definetly would not recommmned taking this in the spring. Yes, he is a hard teacher, but he would be worse. If you just study the notes and also try to understand them, you should do well on the tests. I dont have him for lab, but i heard it was hard.
Cornell is a hard teacher but the material is hard. He is there to help you if you are willing to make the effort & study. I would recommend taking him he is very helpful. I had him for 151 & 152 lecture & lab. I learned alot, and Im glad I took him
He's a great teacher. He's very sarcastic and witty, but can be condescending in the same sarcastic tone. Very clear and understandable for hard material.
His content is clear and straight forward and its a hard class for sure that's not the problem His "know-it-all-ness" approach to everything gets old and some of the blatant false statements/personal agenda are just not conducive to a good class
Excellent teacher, but he could make the lecture tests easier. The subject matter is hard enough on its own without the tricky questions. If you take him, be prepared to study your but off. Learned alot though.
Definately an awesome teacher. Lectures aren't too boring. Test aren't bad if you make notecards and study everything in the notes. Pretty cool as a lab instructor too. Overall, he just seems like a pretty cool guy teaching a difficult class.
Mr Cornell thinks he's the best teacher in the world, and if you dont understand something, he makes you feel stupid. He needs new teaching techniques.
Mr. Cornell is a very very tough teacher, and he doesnt explain himself real well. The material is very hard, snd he doesnt make it any easier by using big words that dont have to do with biology.9 I would NOT reccomend him, for anyone.
I would NOT recommend anyone to ever take him for a class. He does not offer a clear understanding of materials. If you are plus-sized you are already on his hit list. I got so tired of hearing about how FAT his ex-wife got.
This was one of the most interresting classes I've ever taken. If you are a slacker, DON'T take this class. Be prepared to study, and for some sarcastic jokes.
He has the Short man syndrome. He likes Big words that mean nothing. He also feels the need to make you feel stupid>>Run for your life Don't take him!
Extremely entertaining! If you want to just blow right through this class as painlessly as possible, pick him. Be prepared for heavy note-taking -- but on the other hand, I don't recall needing my book for anything except pictures, because he covers everything in the notes.
entertaining for sure. all the notes are put on the board in outline form. you dont really need the book. i will most def take him again.
He has a know-it-all attitude and makes you feel stupid for asking some questions. However, when it comes to lecture he is perfect to have. He writes word for word on the board what he wants you to know for the test. So if you can ignore the attitude he's a great teacher.
He is a nice teaher and has some funny jokes, but he has the tendency to make you feel stupid. All the notes are wrote on the board which makes it hard to pay attention because all your doing is writing. Can be funny but probably wouldnt take him again.
Tom Cornell is an excellent teacher. You will definately learn.
tom is funny. labs are great to cause hes very helpful and he lets us bring in food if we want. his tests in lab are tough an you shold sutdy but the tests in lecture are horrible and you mst study every day for three weeks to get a decent grade. good guy to take if you wanna take the time to learn
This is a really hard class any way.It has a lot of taxonomy you have to memorize. Cornell is a really good teacher for those who are willing to learn and put in the time. He is very informative on his subject and knows a lot of interesting facts.
Tom is a great professor. It's refreshing to have a professor not 'dumb down' the students. He is engaging and presents materials in an unapologetic manner. Study the notes, come to class, pay attention and you'll do fine. He's not easy, but you'll learn and retain the info.
not fair at all
Obnoxious, but EXCELLENT professor. Well prepared every class, obsessively organized. Material is clearly presented. Appears to enjoy the subject matter. Strongly recommend this prof.
he does write all the notes word for word on the board so you do know what the tests are on. he's a huge jerk though. obnoxious all the way, jokes aren't funny. i didn't pay to hear his opinoion on everything, and he doesnt put effort into helping his students outside of his own o.c.d
professor very unfair do not go by his grading system for your semester grade is system is confusing and he needs to change it. I dont like him and i don't recommend anyone to take him Professor Wandrey is the best

If you put an effort into class then this is the teacher for you. Everything that is on the tests is in the notes given. He also gives a lot of direction on good study habits. He does have quirky behavior, but I think that he only does it to keep his students attentive. If you study you will get a good grade. I put my all into it & have a 4.0
He is really hard. You need to know everything on his notes, and there are about 20 full pages of notes per test. He also talks to you like your an equal and you have no clue what he is saying. Unless you have a photographic memory, I'd skip this professor
Wow. He really needs to slow down with his lectures because I swear that I miss half of what he says, and even though I take good notes and study my grade does not reflect the effort I have put into this class. I think that the wording on his tests is tricky - he makes the questions a lot harder than they should be for a freshman level class.
Because the only grades you earn are from tests and practicals, you do need to study; which isn't unreasonable because there is no 'homework'. However, he delivers an abundance of information that is very difficult to memorize. He is very knowledgeable and tends to go a little too in depth, but if you have a question, he is very helpful.
Prof. Cornell is not an easy teacher by a long shot, although a course of this matter shouldn't be easy. He is a excellent teacher and all the information on the tests and quizes comes directly from the detailed notes he gives. It is almost essential to attend every class in order to receive all the notes and also the oral explainations.
Obnoxious professor, pretty funny though. He is a great lecturer but he does make you feel stupid and will kind of lower your self-esteem with his comments. You expect a Genetics class to be hard but some of the questions are things he talked about on his notes for maybe one sentance or 10 seconds, so you need to memorize EVERYTHING. Hard class.
Tough class to stay awake in!!
I feel that Tom is a great professor. He KNOWS the material he is teaching you, and will gladly answer any and all of your questions and concerns, if you ask. He has made office hours for that reason, I notice he is always their at least an hour before lecture. And very helpful during lab. Maybe he has a quirky sense of humor, I think it is cute!!!
Tom is way funny and way hot! His class is so easy and fun I would recommend him to any first semester liberal arts students. Pick up this course just for fun. Don't believe everything you read. He is not arrogant, he is full of bluster.
What a hottie. I love his sense of humor!
Organized, helpful, funny, very knowledgeable...You will learn alot in this class if you put forth the effort. MUST STUDY!!!!
Mr. Cornell is an excellent teacher. He is very organized, helpful, funny and knowledgeable. You will learn alot from his class. You MUST STUDY!!
He is a great professor. Those whom are lazy need not take his class. You the student must put forth the effort and time to study and prepare for the tests. Tom is very knowledgeable and hilarious. He has a great sense of humor and jokes occasionally. I was in both his bio 151 and 152 and received excellent grades. He is definitely not obnoxious.
I would totally date him if he weren't married.
Great Professor, he really makes you know your stuff though so you definitely have to study
Not an easy prof. but you alot! Study very hard if you take him. Make this class your life - or - do not bother
HE'S COOL, TOUGH BUT COOL.
Coolest teacher at Mott.
I enjoyed this class thoroughly because of Tom. He is funny and so smart. It was my favorite class of the semester. I have had many teachers that I did not like, but on a professional and personal standpoint Tom is a gem. Very hard teacher though. Study everyday and you will do fine.
Hard but fair. Great sense of humer.Study alot!
this class was ok being there wasnt a must as long as you got the notes from someone else, the lectures wernt very interesting but in bio its kinda hard to make them interesting. his test are based directly on the notes he gives you, so you learn a lot as long as you study everyday youll do just fine. very good teacher overall, he tries very hard.
This man is very knowledgeable in Biology
the class was not easy but at the same time not hard. you should attend class every day and take good notes or borrow notes. Study your notes like your life or grade depended on it. Tom does make class funny with his jokes. Overall great teacher. I'm takjing him again for Bio 152
I found Tom to be a very good teacher. He doesn't just hand you a grade like some other teachers, so you need to put in effort. My efforts paid off in the end and I left the class with an actual understanding of what I just did that semester. Go to class, get your notes, and study - you'll do fine.
he is a good teacher and he fully covers all the material well, and as long as you go to class everyday you should have no problem getting a good grade, my only complaint is that everytime he writes something on the borad he has a habit of standing right in front of it so you cant see what hes wrote and makes it a little hard to keep up sometimes
Great teacher! He is not easy at all, but if you ever have any questions he is always there to help you. He has a good sense of humor, and is pretty funny!
Great teching style. Clear and organized. I did not take him for 152 and I wish I had. He is tough and lets you know the first day of class, but he will always answer questions about the course material. His labs are much more laid back than lectures, I had fun in lab. Overall very organized and willing to do his job as a teacher.
Hard Teacher! Make sure you Study Study Study! When you study reference text book and tape-record class, because he says a lot you won't catch when your taking notes! It was really helpful for me. Don't miss any classes, you'll miss too much info. You need to know the material inside and out!
I totally love this guy! He is an awesome teacher and really knows his stuff. I wish we could have gotten to know each other a little better...if you know what I mean. Class is almost over and I'm pretty sure my grade will be good...but I wish I had spent a little time under his desk!
Had Tom for Zoology & 111. Hard as hell. All points are from tests over 50 pages of detailed notes. His class consumes my life, but i like him & his personality. Some say he is the biggest ****-ass mofo but i enjoy his cruel, witty, obnoxious jokes and know-it-allism. He's a genius, & i think he's Mott's prophet from Satin himself, but recommend him.
i dont get the neg ratings, tom kicks-ass. w/out him, i wouldnt get past zoology and 111 this year. love the witty & funny jokes. he's a genius i agree & is an excellant teacher & want to be like him someday! "let's take a gander shall we?" "boy is my face red" "..it would go great with, oh let's say a 1995 sauvignon blanc" & "ignorant vegetarians"
As long as you want to learn he is the teacher to take. If you're looking for someone to tell you what to memorize don't take him. He is easy to get along with and has an awesome personality. I wish took him for 151. I could have done better in his class but I hate to study!!
I had Mr. Cornell for Bio 151 and 152, I learned a whole lot from him and his class and I would recommend him to anyone who is interested in actually learning, not just memorizing material long enough to take the test then start over for the next one. Cornell is a very smart man and was a great teacher, his genius is def. a turn on!
He schedules the Lecture exams and lab practicals on the same day and that makes it hard to study for both of them. Other than that I have no complaints. He's a great teacher and you can tell he loves what he's teaching. Very funny as well.
Be careful. DONT'S in class: talk about religion, say your a vegetarian, ask irrelevant questions, say hi or bye, make eye contact, talk, rustle papers or bags, DEFINITELY don't come in late(he stares u down) & do not suck up. How to get on his good side: stay after class, laugh at his jokes,do good on tests, act interested in the subject. yep good luck!
Class was so hard I had to withdrawal from it. He doesnt even look like a Biology teacher more like a Religion, Video Game, English, Fashion, or a cosmetology professor.
prof Cornell is a very knowledgeable professor. the wording on the tests can be confusing, you will need to study notes forwards and backwards multiple times, but the notes ARE handed to you so this is good. he seems pretty adamant in his stand against anything liberal or having to do with religion
HE IS A WONDERFUL TEACHER BUT YOU HAVE TO STUDY IN ORDER TO DO WELL AT ALL. HE HANDS YOU ALL THE MATERIAL THAT YOU NEED SO THERE IS NO EXCUSE NOT TO DO WELL IF YOU STUDY YOUR NOTES FORWARDS AND BACKWARDS. YOU MUST STUDY!! HE DOES MAKE THE CLASS VERY INTERESTING AND FUN..HE HAS CORNEY JOKES THOUGH...BUT HE EVEN KNOWS THAT THEY ARE CORNEY...
He is a smart man, but he has no patience for students who do not study. He gives you all the material that you need for the tests. forget the book, its useless. He likes pretty girls, so if you are attractive you should have no problem. Other than that just steer clear of religion with him
Great Teacher. I really like all the notes that he gives. I would take another class from him again, for sure! The material isn't easy, but he is very helpful. I don't have a clue why anyone would have anything negative to say about him. He is an exciting and funny teacher. I am looking forward to the remainder of the semester in his class.
Mr. Cornell was an excellent teacher. My first semester in college I started Spring semester in his class. I've been out of school for 20 years. It was hard to start school after all these years. You are in college to learn and further your career. I would recommend Mr. Cornell to anyone.
He keeps things interesting! always making us laugh. you can't help but like his class!
The notes are great and very helpful. I would take another class from him.If you plan on an easy A then take a different class. You actually have to study to pass this class which most do not do.
On of the best professors that i ever had. now a days teachers only use power point to teach a class and only read was in the ppt. and you dont learn anything but cornell actually takes his time to write notes on the black board and puts them as a study guide that is awesome.
I haven't had a biology class in over 10 years and I LOVE this class. If you come to class, take the notes and study them you should do fine. You can tell that he wants his students to do well, they just have to earn it. His dry sense of humor keeps each lecture interesting. Oh, if he says it would make a good test question, it'll be on the test!
Well, if you want to feel stupid and useless when you walk of out of his classroom, be sure and take Cornell. He doesn't like helping students, unless you're a hot girl and enjoys making you feel like an idiot. Don't wear a skirt if you have a religious belief of female apparel, unless you want to be made into the class clown- DON'T TAKE HIM!
hardest class i have ever had and i am pushing 200 credits. way too much information thrown at the students and only tested on a small portion of it. Tom Cornell is arrogant and opinionated, doesn't like questions and tends to talk down to his students allot. He knows the material and presents well organized notes but I would not recommend this guy.
Excellent Teacher. Most of the tests come from his notes. It isn't an easy subject, but if you do the work, you will get the good grade. Attendence not mandatory, but all the questions do come from the notes. He doesn't dislike questions, he is great about answering questions that pertain to the subject. Would take him again.
Great teacher. He really cares about his students success and makes class enjoyable. He is one funny dude! lol =p
I think he is not a good teacher, he is not helpful at all. His jokes are lame, and he doesn't explain things good enough.
Good dude, If you're thinking of taking a class with him just remember you're going to need to read the chapters and study your notes otherwise you're going to end up unhappy.
He's the MAN. The tests are fairly easy if you've studied at all. Everything comes from his notes which by the way are presented in a very organized outlined form. If you want to meet one of the best teachers at mott you should take this guy he's very intelligent and very organized and if you attend class you will do well!
-Very organized - well prepared - intelligent - Easy if you show up and take notes which isn't hard since he practically spoon feeds them to you :D He gives you a Chapter outline at the beginning of each test which helped me stay on track with everything while reading through the text book. Good Teacher
Tom is addicted to this site:)Funny really.Overall this is a good lecture class.lots of notes to study for test.dont have him for lab this semester,i do next n im terrified of it bc of how ppl talk about it.The only thing i'd change is how much info the 3rd test has,i wish he'd take a lil more time to let us write what he writes then explain things
Interesting class, but not an easy 4.0. Lectures are enjoyable and informative. Some students blame him for their lack of success. Some say he is pretentious and/or egotistical. However, I observed most laughing loud and hardy after Thomas made a comment about bonding through a connection of obscure humor. hmmm... Ponder that. Nice man.
To say Tom is a bad teacher, is not descriptive enough. I think of myself as a fairly intelligent person. He's a genius. He doesn't know how to teach people who aren't at his intelligence level. I was disappointed by his teaching style because he teaches way above your head. You're treated like an idiot if you don't understand it.
Tom is a great teacher. He takes time to answer any questions that students may have. He is extremely intelligent. He is the hardest teacher for this course, but that only makes us that much better because he doesn't give you an easy A. He is funny and is always there if you need help. I recommend taking Tom if you want a real education.
Cornell is one of a kind. He does talk at a much higher level than most people but that just makes you better yourself by learning. I hated him in lecture but was cool in lab. Boring in lecture but kind of interesting in lab. If you plan on taking him for any of his classes, be prepared to take lots of notes and to have a love/hate relationship. :)
I wouldnt recommend him at all! I think its outrageous to have 20 pages of notes for each test and the tests are only 50 questions long. Since I have had him I really think he just cares about getting paid. He will talk about you right in front of the class and he doesnt care at all! I do NOT recommend him at all.
Smart guy, not a great teacher.
I found his grading very fair. His notes, which the tests are formed from, are easy to understand. He is normally quite affable but he can be a bit moody at times. It may sound harsh but the people who didn't do well in his class aren't cut out to be a medical professional. That said this class is very information heavy, so be prepared to study.
Cornell was a great professor. Pay attention in lecture, take stellar notes, write down everything h puts on the board in lecture. It may seem like a bit much but it will be a big help in the long run! When a test is coming up STUDY your NOTES!! He's funny, and easy to understand .....great professor.
this guy wants you to memorize everything in the book ,every diagram in the book, every bone, vein, ligament, muscle freaking scientific name spelled correctly in every animal on every page. 50 pages on every test. Class goes full 3 hours. cool guy. BUT. IT IS KINDA RIDICULOUS WHEN EVERYONE FAILS BUT 3 people.
If you're a good student, then he is a good teacher. You MUST take good notes to pass this class and you MUST use your studying time wisely. He gives ample time for questions if you feel left behind and he is always available for his office hours to talk with you. And his sense of humor is pretty entertaining as well.
Professor Cornell is outstanding! He expects you to learn the material and memorize everything you need to know in order to be prepared for BIOL-152. He gives you all the info you need to get an A. I've gotten a 4.0 on every test thus far. I never looked at the textbook or bought it. All you need to do is study your notes and you'll be golden.
Professor Cornell is a good professor. You will do well in his class if you have good attendance. I like taking classes such as his where you do not need the book since that adds to the already high tuiton. As for his teaching in class he writes the notes with you. He's the type who likes to joke around but sill has his heart on his sleaves.
If I had the choice, I would have taken this class with a different professor. Although Cornell can be funny and interesting sometimes, lectures can become dull and sometimes difficult to understand. The book is not necessary, all 6 tests come from the notes, so make sure to study. I have nothing against him, I just don't like his teaching style.
I had him for 151 last semester. He will be up front and tell you he isn't easy and he isn't, but he is very smart and organized. He is a great lab teacher. I purposely chose to take him for 152 and I'm glad I did, I'm learning a lot and he's a pretty cool dude.
One of the best Biology Professors in the world. He's a very rational, knowledgeable, and entertaining professor. Don't take any of the "sour grapes" reviews seriously. If you really want to learn then take him. If you just want to get by and not learn anything then don't.
Fantastic teacher, very smart. He is difficult and admittedly I did not fare as well as I'd like but that was solely on me, not because of anything he did. If you wish to actually be educated, sign up for his class.
I very much enjoyed having Cornell as my BIOL 151 and 152 professor. He is challenging yet fair and reasonable. I proudly earned a 4.0 each semester and feel as if I learned much more than I would've anywhere else. I plan to take him in the future if given the chance to do so.
Great teacher! The only people that dont like him are the ones that arent willing to put forth the effort to pass his class. If you put in the time and effort his class is very rewarding
It's been a few years since I had him as a professor and I didn't finish the course, but he was absolutely one of my favorites anyway. He's incredibly smart and has a great sense of humor. The material covered was what I expected. A 4.0 is very feasable as long as a reasonable amount of work is put in to studying. It's as simple as that.
Professor Cornell is one of the best professors that I have had here at Mott. I had him in a spring biology 151 class and I am looking forward to taking more classes with him in the fall. He is a hard professor but will set you up for success if you put in a bit of work. I would highly recommend him for anybody interested in gaining knowledge.
I would not recommend him at all.
Mr. Cornell is an excellent professor. He is very intelligent, and extremely funny. Notes are very well organized, it makes it much easier to study. He is tough, but fair. Look forward to taking other classes with him.
Professor Cornell is GREAT at his job. Keeps it interesting with jokes and is very clear on the subject. He gives you your notes, so study them daily and you will be fine. No book needed. Do not avoid this man. He gives you everything you need to pass. The only thing is he should consider a little extra credit during the semester. Great teacher.
Great teacher! His method of teaching requires one to learn the material rather than just having to memorize it. Ive never taken a biology class before and am glad that I was recommended to him. The effort you put into his class will reflect on your grade.
Professor Cornell is GREAT at his job. Keeps it interesting with jokes and is very clear on the subject. He gives you really good notes, study them daily and you will be fine. No book needed. Do not avoid this man. He gives you everything you need to pass. The only thing is he should consider a little extra credit during the semester. Great teache
There's 4 test in his class, and NO homework. Literally nothing to go home and practice or build your grade off of. I think I could have taught myself the material better. He just writes on the board without thoroughly explaining what he's talking about. He doesn't teach us out of the text book either, so don't waste 300$ on it. Thumbs down.
He is highly distracted. Only four test and there is no way of building your grade around them. He doesn't give your test answers back and he doesn't update you on your test grade for weeks! Nice guy but horrible teacher!
Mr. Cornell is a very tough teacher. His notes are easy to follow and his test are only over what he lectures although you should read the book to better understand the concepts. He's definitely the hardest teacher I've had but I've also learned so much in his classes. As long as you work hard you'll be fine.
Before I took Cornell I loved biology and had my mind set on being a zoologist my whole entire life... until I took his class. I didn't understand a thing of what he was saying. Just take the notes he writes on the board and read the chapter because it explains it better than he does. And STOP saying yes when he tells you to, you not a minion whoa!
Study, study, study. You will not do well in this class if you do not study for his tests. He puts lots of hard material on his tests, and has "trick" questions on all of them. Where it appears there could be more than 1 answer. He is very annoying at some points, but sometimes funny. Just a weird, little teacher, but very, very smart.
I took Cornell for 151. His lectures are really long, but he is a fair grader. His tests aren't too bad, and he does offer chances for extra credit - which upped my grade. If you take him for 151 you should really just stick his class out for 152. Because believe it or not there are worse bio teachers at Mott.
I absolutely loved taking Mr. Cornells class! He's a little quirky but I personally really enjoyed him. The material itself is difficult but he simplifies it and bases all of his tests on the notes. If you are there you will do well but you wont stand a chance unless you are there to take notes! Definitely keep up on your notes and review them!
Cornell is funny and entertaining. He is an excellent lab instructor. However, his lectures are 100% note taking every minute of class time. He writes on the board and students are expected to document every. single. thing. For an auditory or visual learner (like myself) his notes over-complicated the material. Definitely room for improvement.
He's an amazing teacher and a very smart man. His tests are completely based on the lecture notes that he writes on the board. If you don't copy down every note you may have a hard time. Overall I really enjoyed having him for both lecture and lab.
The entire class is lectures then tests on the lectures. No other points available so hopefully you do well in that structure.
smart teacher, ok class. Let me summarize - very easy lectures you can miss 3-4 days and just copy notes from someone. No point in wasting gas and money. labs hard. -lecture test are very hard and one sided. You will realize that 60-65% of your 30+ pages of notes isn't even on the exam. Lots of watsted time studying things you will never see
Do not take this class if youwant to pass 152. He's a funny guy, down to earth but once you realize how ridiculously hard his lab and lecture test are you won't be so happy. Lots and lots of notes with tricky, one sided exams. Like other reviews mention 70% of the info your forced to retain you won't see on exams and labs. AVOID
Funny guy but a very difficult class. All lectures and the exams is all your grade consists of.
Horrible Teacher. You must copy down his lecture that he writes on the board. He doesn't use blackboard, or give you any papers. You sit in lecture for 3 trying to keep up with writing what he writes. Just horrible. He was very rude. I dropped and now I have an amazing teacher for BIO!
Worst teacher ever he makes you write down ten pages of notes but then have 25 question tests .. he talks and he doesnt explain and he talks in a mono tone .. he is horrible trust me dont take him
Gets you to understand biology as opposed to learn nuggets of facts for a test. Yes, you copy notes from what he writes on the board, but as long as you do that then you have all the info you need for exams. If you're looking for an easy class to fill a Gen Ed with minimal work, avoid him. If you're a science major, definitely register for him.
He is a great guy. Funny as heck. It does kind of suck because he writes all his notes on the board so you just copy it. Not too bad if you like writing a lot. I'd take another class from him if given the chance.
Very funny Lots and lots of notes that you need to be learning for the exam.
What a great professor! Was very nervous about this course BUT I am happy to say he relayed the information wonderfully. I wish I could take him for 152
If you work hard and show up foe class he will help and you will pass .Dont be afraid to ask questions he is welling to help .never thought I would pass Bio 150 but I work heard and ask alot of question and I passed
He has a very dry sense of humor, which is funny. If you skip lecture you won't pass, but if you attend class and lab and pay attention you'll be fine. He gets really annoyed when people are paying attention to their phones during class, and when people are trying to pack up early as class is wrapping up. I wish I could take him for BIO 152.
Sadly, he had to retire; our semester was his last on campus. His questions were tricky. If you watch his lectures at least 2-3 times, you will do well; his questions are usually from his class.
