Online teacher. A lot of hard work. Very challenging. However, teacher is very helpful and his expectations are clear from begining.

Wonderful teacher. He is absolutely awesome. Don't expect much clarity in what's expected, but if you go to class and participate, you'll get an easy A.

I am going back to school after many years this class made it so reassuring that I can do it. The captain is the best in education and he made me want to know more.

Interesting professor.. to me teaches real life related to the books.. just doesn't lecture on and on about nothing.

two words: AWESOME PROFESSOR! I got straight A's with hardly trying, includes 100's on final and term paper.

He uses an open class forum to discuss and apply lessons. Few tests or quizzes. Attendance and class participation are importanttoward grade. He talks to you not at you to make you want to get involved in the class. Low stress, you'll like this class.

this teacher is very easy going and likes his students to do well. there is a term paper involved but he divides it into sections and creates due dates for each part. this makes the paper get done easily! I like going to his class & you will not Zzzzzzzz

This is what makes you want to get up and go to college in the morning. He makes the topics apply to real life. Very helpful. Very clear and works with, not against the student. Wish there were more like him. Learned a lot in this class.

A wonderful teacher with a unique approach to teaching. There is much more work in this class than I was expecting but he has it spread out so if you keep up on it you wont be overwhelmed but don't get behind!!

He is an awesome teacher. I was dreading taking this subject, now looking at getting this in a master's degree. Really let's you let your personality shine and makes the class a ton of fun. Its a great class and he is the BEST teacher at SPC!

He teaches Ethics. Great teacher. The kind of class you dont want to skip because he so cool to listen too. He doesn't give tests or quizzes, so its easy to get an A as long as you do your Gordon rule requirements.

Capt was awesome!, I had dreaded taking thos course, but this prof makes the topic intersting by engaging the class in relevant discussions.If you participate, and show a genuine effort no one should fail this Prof class.

You got to take ETHICS... He is a must have. Class is always interesting, and your sure to learn more than you even realize. A little Jimmy Buffet and a casual atmosphere is what you will find.

This might be the most easy going teacher you will ever have! I unique thinker. Very flexible. Nice teacher. Wants to pass you. Teachs you so much. But, you have so much fun that you don't even know your learning. Be perpared to laugh! TAKE HIM! TRUST ME!

Capt. Derzypolski's class is the only class i love going to. His class is full of discussions, and talks with the students instead of at them. The class has a lot of group work, and is mostly graded on presentations. As long as you participate, the class is awesome.

This is one of the easiest classes to get an A in. This teacher is amazing, you will learn a lot in his class, but he makes it very fun. I wish some of my other teachers were like him. You have to write about 3000 words, but in ethics that is easily accomplished.

Professor D is awesome, He is fun, outgoing, great to chat with for ?'s, Gives honest answers. Interactive, fun class, highly recommend him for business or aplied ethics!

This is the teacher u want for any kind of class. He is just the easiest teacher I ever had. Thanks to him my GPA got higher, and I was so happy with my A grade.

He is a really nice and funny guy. I did not like that I never knew what my grade is throughout most of the semister. I also felt like I never really learned anything and there is a pretty tough take home mid-term. You can also do 10 hours of communitie service to get out of the final.

Prof.D is a creative, inspiring instructor. Unless you're a complete moron, you can't go wrong in his class. He's eager to help when needed, holds thought provoking class discussions, and effortlessly directs you to enlightenment. XTRA credit is a no-brainer, the work involves common sense and critical thinking. Also, he encourages volunteerism!A++

This instructor was very good. I really enjoyed this class, I learned a lot and he really took the time to explain. He was very involved in your success and wanted you to do well. Very sweet man.

Took him online and loved him. Provided interesting assignments and promoted discussions and debates... always good. The subject matter is what it is, there is a lot of history and thought process that goes into it, but I thought it was interesting. He responds to emails quickly and is very clear.

this WAS the easiest A i ever got. i didn't do any work at all and the final was 5 questions. HOWEVER, i made my boyfriend take him this semmester and they have homework literally every night and the midterm was a lot harder than i remember. NOT AN EASY A ANYMORE! he got harder for some reason!!!

He is the best professor i had all year. He is very understanding and helpful. His work is easy and managable. He is very fair about grading and you can redue your work which you probably wont have to even worry about. I would recomend him to anyone who wants an easy A. Also your majority of work is done in groups. All you have to do is show up.

He is a great teacher and is also layed back. He also brings humor to the class which is always good. This guy really cares about his students and will give you more time to work on assignments if you need it. :)

i really loved this class and I thought the textbook was awesome. He throws a lot of work at you, but is understanding if you need more time. His assignments were always interesting and I had fun working on them and gained some self insight from them. Great class!

Took this class online and it was a LOT of work but enjoyed every minute of it. Mr. Derzypolski is hard but fair. He's understanding if you turn in an assignment late. I found the textbook very helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed this class.

This professor helped write the Ethics book used at St. Pete College. I had hime for Honors Applied Ethics and it was pretty easy. Minimal tests and mostly group work. Very fun.

He is very lienent. Has a good sense of humor but very unclear about assignments. He is kind of confused at times about them but as long as you do the work you will get an a. Umm.. Very nice teacher but hes unorganized and confused. Don't know what your grade is until the end of semester. Discuss about dumb topics and very boring. But good prof.

If the work seemed unclear, he didn't mind giving you a better description of it, and almost all of it was group work. He is understanding when it comes to why an assignment is late and will give you time to turn it in. He also has a sense of humor which helped keep me awake in his 8 a.m. class. I would reccommend him.

If you take this class online, be careful because he has a habit of listing the lessons in odd places and you may not realize there is an assigment until it's due! Other than that, pretty easy going.

It was a good class overall. I learned a lot about ethics and now have an appreciation for the study of ethics. Professor stresses format too much but as long as you stick to it you will do great. Also very understanding and gave me an extension when I was gone for a week! It takes awhile to get your grade. Very nice teacher.

Took him for the service learning class - very nice man and wants his students to succeed. It was a basically a self-guided class and as long as you interact in the discussion forums, it is an easy A.

I took it online. Easy A. Just do the assignments on time. No grade for late assignments. He appreciates all your hard work. Highly recommend him.

The best teacher at SPC! I think his style of teaching really works well with what he is teaching. I thought I would hate ethics but when I took his class he really changed my view on the class. Plus he still helps me in my Speech class. I stongly recommend this professor!

I had minimal interest prior to taking course--but became addicted to the online discussion. I was dragged kicking and screaming into a philosophy course but this one will rock your world--take it and the prof is a good teacher. 2 thumbs up!

He is the greatest teacher I have had so far. He really explains things to you and will talk to you one on one to make sure that you understand the assignment. He really cares about his students and will understand if you are in a tough spot. He understands that everyone learns differently and he will work with you. Great teacher and great course!

Enjoyed this class. I took it online. The course load was fair- many of the chapter questions can seem daunting but are feasible. The professor was great at communicating back and forth throughout the semester. Read the book, do the assignments, and you will get an A

Wow, what an easy class. I honestly didn't even do all the reading, just concentrated on key points. The work load is small, and the professor is lenient. It got a little messy at the end due to him missing a couple weeks (said he had surgery or something). As an online student, this didn't make a huge difference.

This will probably be the easiest class i will ever take in college. He is the most easiest and most lenient professor ever. There wasn't even a Final exam. Attendance is mandatory though and its 50% of ur grade. Midterm is 25% of ur grade and its the CTAP paper and that was probably the hardest thing i did all semester. I got an 96 A easily.
