Tom Falbo is a genius, hands down. But,his teaching style simply did not work for me. He told you how it was and moved very fast rather than truly teaching the material. Calculus is no joke, even if you are good at math. If you are a math wiz, then a class with Tom will be no problem for you. I ended up withdrawing halfway through the semester. RIP

I was in Math156 and I found his class to be pretty straight forward. I found the lectures to be long and a bit tiring but that's because he went over everything very thoroughly. If anyone had a question about the hw or a test he'd go over those problems and made sure we understood the answer. He reminded us often that his office hours were open.

Falbo is one of my favorite teachers Ive had at the jc. His teaching style probably wouldnt work for anyone who is has a really hard time in math or who doesnt have the confidence to ask questions when they are unsure. Hes a genius and shows you ways to apply math to real life, making the class easier to follow. I love this teacher!
