Tough Class... A lot of work.

Alot of work and some studing that involves new words but over all a very nice and smart teacher that helps his students out alot and will keep you laughing. A lot of extra credit chances. One of my favortes teachers of all time.

The funniest man I know. Listening to him makes me laugh. Remembering what he said makes me laugh.

I have never been so interested in an English class until I took a class with Fuschetto. Why didn't someone like him teach me what does earlier in my life?

He gives detailed information about all assignments and grading -- so you know what to expect. But, the first several assignments don't count that much so you can learn from your mistakes and still earn an "A" no matter how poorly you did at the beginning. I really learned fast from my mistakes and now all is starting to make sense.

Everything he taught me is of great use because it reflects on the writing assignments that I turn in. Previous semesters before having his class, I got B’s on writing assignments and after mastering his courses, I get mostly A’s. Professor Fuschetto was chill. He was always available to talk about anything and he led really interesting classes. I never wanted to miss a single class of his. In fact I liked him so much I took 2 of his classes!

Sex, violence, and crude humor, Fuschetto thumbed through the text like it was Playboy; picking out all the scandalous parts and skipping over the blowhard banter. Smart, witty (sharp as a tack), and down to earth, wake up early to register for his class. Anyone who had Fuschetto knows how awesome he is--much fun--not your traditional English class

He is a good guy, and he obviously knows what he is talking about. His lectures were very enjoyable. However, he does expect you to know a lot before you take his course. He's definitely the kind of overly objective person you want teaching you things. I know that if bring him a crappy paper, he will tell me it is crap. Take Niles from Frasier, add Sean Connery & you get Fuschetto. He is awesome and has a Monty Python-ish style humor. He keeps us laughing! Kept everything interesting and I learned a lot!

Easy! papers: peer reviewed, conference, tutor, turn in. Class discussions were enlightening, refreshing, and sometimes silly. I really enjoyed the material and the way it was presented. A gem! Learned a lot and enjoyed it. If you say something with faulty logic, he won't berate you but will guide you to a better understanding of your thought process. Rather than feel like a fool, you'll feel like a more worthwhile person because you'll develop. When teachers make us feel stupid, that impairs learning. Fuschetto NEVER does that.

Hands down the best professor at STC. Everyone should take at least one class with him. He makes the class really enjoyable and is a chill professor. Take anything you can with him. Definately Knows something about everything! he knows his stuff and is extremely smart. A lot of kids stopped showing up to class because they got intimidated but just show up and turn in all your work, its easy. He gives you lots of chances and is a very funny man! TAKE HIM!!

I graduated 2 years ago and Fuschetto is the main reason why I rave about STC. Take at least 1 class with him. My favorite professor by far. Even sitting in the back row, I felt like he was teaching just to me. He made me really know the texts. Energetic, funny and captivating, his lectures are some of my favorite memories of my time in the Valley!

He's very clear and the homework is very laid out. He goes out of his way to help people. Make time to do the reading and writing and pay attention to his notes. He helps immediately. The most completely OUTSTANDING professor I have ever had! Ever! I'm only a High School student and he is the GREATEST professor to walk in the face of the Earth. his class isnt hard, its just alot of work. you HAVE to read, you have quizzes every day of class, but there pretty easy reading assignments, still its alot when you haveo ther class hw everyday as well. he seems like he'd really help u & be lieniant with papers and stuff tho, so thats cool.

Anything this man doesn't know? His easy quizzes only take up the first five minutes of class. You can tell he wants students to succeed. He is so enthusiastic that you get caught up in it. The most accessible professor I've had who takes time for questions or comments and makes me feel valuable. He is everything a student could want.

Passionate, understanding and truly cares about his students. Actually helps you to create fine writing. Moderate work load, assignments aren't bad, great class. Always made sure that every student left each class with a better understanding. He always had us thinking. I looking forward to talking him for another class.

If you can't read, can't go to classes, have no time to study, then DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! Seriously, some of my classmates in his class are taking remedial reading and can't read, hardly come to class, and they hope to just sit, sleep, and get a grade. What are they thinking? He is a great teacher for real students, but not for fake students.

No one can sleep in his classes: he has you alert and at the edge of your seat laughing or thinking as he provokes you with ideas. The energy is like a stand up comedian performance. True, the audience, the students, show less life than any of the zombies from any Romero film (my STC classmates only drool faster than the zombies).

Essays are pretty difficult so make friends in class to reffer to when you need help. If your dedicated you should get no less than a B average

Inspires and motivate students. Best teacher I have ever had. very informative and always willing to help. I took the class as an elective because I heard it was easy, but although it is easy, you do learn a lot. tests are really easy and he gives great reviews. I've taken him for three classes now and every class is awesome and enjoyable.

Wow! What a ride is his class! At first I was intimidated with a long syllabus. I now know he puts all of the cards on the table and provides the way to earn a grade. Nothing is redundant. Each class sticks with the syllabus but with surprising facts added. You are guaranteed to laugh in each class as I did and continue as I take him for lit.

They should name a building on the STC campus after him. He really does live up to his legend. But even more so, I found that he's a caring, interesting teacher with high ideas and a clear way of teaching that grabs your attention immediately. He doesn't waste time and focuses on the assignment. His assignments are clear and reasonable.

Fuschetto made difficult material interesting and important to me. I ended up learning much. He's not only fun but interesting; he really cares and is determined to see students do well. The essays are interesting topics and not difficult. One of the best teachers I ever had. He takes the time to respond to our concerns and is always ready to help.

I took english 1301 and 1302 with Professor Fuschetto and recieved A's both times. I am currently taking him for intro to lit. which seems interesting so far. He can be a little out there as well as funny. He is lenient to an extent. As long as you put in an effort and try, he will see that. Just ask questions, he will clarify.

Fuschetto is the most amazing, lenient, easiest teacher at STC. No homework or tests; I would not second guess taking his class at ALL! Only had 4 short essays and a research paper no final . I am a student with ADD and he took the time to help me. It is difficult for me to learn, but with his help, I passed the class. He cares about students, smart and loves teaching you so much while having fun doing it. There is one student who only complains but who never does his work or tries to read, but we told Fuschetto about that hater.

Best English profesor at stc pecan campus. I highly recommend him. He is very nice, understanding, and makes class fun. Always gives a lot of extra credit so there is no way you will not make an A , unless you really just don't care about the class and don't do anything. Can't regret taking him. He is literally the best teacher ever! He is the best Professor. He really cares about students, he's smart, and he's not boring. He's awesome. Take his class if you can, you'll learn a lot and you'll enjoy it. Take this class if you can.

He is a pretty easy teacher but be prepared for work! He asks you to join 2 websites online & from there you'll have assignments. Readings are from the book & online & everyday. The assignments are easy but there is always something to do for his class. He offers extra credit. I'm not done with the class so I'll see how I do.

Hands down best professor. I learned more than I could have ever asked. Most caring, personal, intelligent professor ever. He really cares about his students! He is a wealth of knowledge and as long as you try your hardest you will receive a fair grade. I strongly recommend taking him as a professor. He is highly intelligent and caring.

Thomas Fuschetto is an excellent teacher. Writing and reading are tough if you don't hardly ever do it, but he has a way of making his students feel at ease. He was always very clear about what he expected. I learned a huge amount. Then, he has you laughing, even if you try your hardest not to. Great instructor I would definitely recommend him.

He is a very wise man, his knowledge covers different aspects in life and different writing styles. He is a very helpful man and has a great sense of humor. Journals are a must. Gives study guides for everything even final. Must do all the reading. It is a lot of work but its an Easy A if all is done.

This guy is AMAZING, as a full time student and full time employee with no free time, I had no concerns passing this course. He's really helpful and understanding. Mr. Fuschetto is a good professor. His class is not precisely hard but it is time consuming out side of the class room. Expect to be reading every week. There is no way to pass the pop quizzes if you don't to the readings but if you do easiest quiz you will take. He is sarcastic and will single you out if you are being rude.

He assigns few papers and the standard research paper is less work than for other 1302 classes. He is so clear in his instructions that you get them in class and also posted on the Internet. If you're thinking of taking this course with Fuschetto, do it! I do advice to take him during the fall/spring semester. These semesters are slow-paced with his good guidance. Very good and interesting professor, DEFINITELY recommend taking him. He does assign a lot of reading but it's usually just short stories and if you're in a hurry you can just read a summary online. The papers he assigns are super easy and it's hard to fail his tests. Easily one of my favorite professors.

He is a good professor, goes off-topic sometimes. you will have about two group projects, a research paper, and some essay exams. Just make sure to go over the review and that will help a lot. Also, you have homework, and two journals due the day of each exam.

Even though there were a lot of papers, that was a lot of things to be graded on instead of just exams (which were very easy). There was easy extra credit every single week and he makes sure that we utilize the techniques in the textbook (make sure to get it). Easy class if you follow the syllabus and ask questions.

Definitely a lit class. You are going to read, but you can find the book as a pdf. He is very sarcastic, but in a funny way, not a jerk way. 3 papers, short story, comparison and a research paper. long lit journal, quiz and discussions every week. Video project at end as discussion. I did pretty well, was overwhelmed for this class with 4 others.

took this as a mini-term. Workload was INTENSE, lots of reading and multiple papers to wrtie. Professor was great at giving feedback and very accessible. Gave lots of extra credit. He is picky but he tells you exactly what he is looking for and helps you learn from your mistakes.

Fuschetto I took online and, to my surprise, I had a wonderful time. I took an online course on Blackboard, which has no video, no audio, and I thought was going to be boring, but Fuschetto invokes his humor, his explanations, and his fun assignments that made reading his instructions, his lectures, and really good feedback fun to read each day.

Mr. Fuschetto is a very pleasant professor. His class is 5 essays, one is a 9 page research paper not including works cited. Not a very tough grader, just follow the instructions and DO the work at the end it will get you that A. He also gives assignments for extra credit, some are just responding back to an email, so be SURE to read his messages.

I really appreciated how Fuschetto made things clear and gave students reminders for their assignments. He gave a week to prepare for each Easy quiz that have no surprise or trick questions and a casual discussion with other students. He gave more than three weeks to prepare you for papers. There was only one research paper in his class.

One time I showed up to Fuschetto's class, and I saw an elephant. How he got around to show an elephant in class, I will never know. Another time, I was surprised to see a clown in full make up. If Fuschetto teaches literature again, take it! Fuschetto is a really funny guy, extremely laid back. Class is always fun, assignments are creative. so basically fun opportunities to get an A. Best class I've ever taken. My assumptions were challenged, I learned things I never expected, and I laughed the whole way. Can't stress it enough. Do eeet!

Id say go for professor Thomas Fuschetto and he is a great teacher, gives you a lot of great feedback and he lets you get feedback from peers, feedback from him. He's an amazing and funny guy. This Fuschetto teaches the things that they do not want you to know, such as the forbidden mysteries behind the &, the secrets of the hyphen - and the dash --, the hidden puzzle of the difference between the ( ) and the [ ]. He assigns classic essays and literature that they do not want you to read. Take him to know the truth.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Fuschetto's class ! This is the Fuschetto to take, not the other ones. He's the best professor at STC. Definitely take his course as he makes his lectures very interesting and he definitely knows a lot about writing. He makes you love and appreciate writing. He's the reason why writing is now my favorite activity. :)

His variety of assignments kept it interesting, and the step-by-step guidance made the process easier. Overall, it was clear and supportive. He states everything well and understandable. He was very helpful, and made the course interesting. He gives good feedback in all of our assignments to help better ourselves in future assignments.

Professor Fuschetto puts so much effort into his teaching and really has a passion for what he does. He's one of the best professors I've had so far. Captain Fuschetto is pretty cool. To pass, you just need to make sure to do the homework. Go to class because the notes you take are very little, but help with papers you are writing or quizzes. All in all, he understands situations and gives reasonable extensions and extra credit.
