He's very clear in his teaching, but his tests are multiple choice scenarios.

Easy MC tests, don't need the book, very helpful. Take this class if u need PYSC

whoever thought this class was hard, has serious issues. he gives you a copy of his outlined notes! 4 tests, that are relatively easy, i have yet to use the book- all you need is the notes, and there's no attendance policy.

CLASS IS HARD, BUT HE CURVES AT THE END OF THE SEMESTER.

he rocks my world! all multiple choice exams plus when you ask him about a question, he'll give you a huge hint.

read and go to class - doesn't take attendance but he gives 1 test question a week on drills - knows his stuff - copy the outlines he puts up

if you want a good grade in psyc 101 take it from me and don't take kruggel! Class is boring, he is monotone, tests are 50 multiple choice questions and very hard(applying info.to diff. situations. ruined my first semester, freshman year.

BORING monotone tests are application problems expects you to do a ton of work with book internet and cd rom

doenst take attendence but you need to go to class to take notes. outlines are written on the board but a lot of info on exams is just from him speaking. really easy B if not an A if you just pay attention

Very nice man, but an unusually hard class for a GenEd. He is very understanding and will usually accept late work. Good teacher, hard class.

i thought he was a great teacher... hes very animated which makes u wanna pay attention even if u dont care about what hes talking about... his classwork and tests r easy if u pay attention in class and do the HW... hes a very nice man, perhaps a little out there...

I never went to this class because he doesn't take attendence and I just read from the book and did the CD rom, 4 tests, non-cumulative final, 10 quizzes from the CD rom that are worth 2 points each and are simple, I've never gotten anything but 100% on them, 10 in-class 2 point graded assingments

He NEVER deviates from his syllabus, so do all of the reading, know the chapters, and you HAVE to go to class. His tests are tough, but trust me it helps so much more when you actually read the chapters. He's very willing to help, if you just talk to him after class.

Knowledgeable teacher, gives good examples. Very difficult to get an A in this class. Tests aren't a good indicator of your knowledge. You will need to read and study EVERY word of the text, website and CD to get an A

too much information for a 100 level class. he makes funny body gestures in class that makes him look funny. his tests are not hard but CONFUSING. take another professor if u can. only one extra credit. he definitely isnt the best professor out ther. and he makes psychology boring. but he isnt too bad. u can get a B. good luck.

This class is hard; not because of the professor but because of the information. You need to go to class and study to do well but just because the info is so confusing. Dr. Kruggel is a great professor and knows his stuff. Gives plenty of study aids; copy down the ques of the day: some of them are direct test questions!

He gives you a syllabus outlining the entire semester - it is really helpful in planning out studying (which is a necessity!) he also has a lot of simple assignments for easy points. The book also comes with a website with lots of studying tools!

He is really great if you can listen.

Wonderful professor! very knowledgeable. Gives a detailed syllabus that explains everything, he's very organized. His tests are a little difficult and you have to do a lot of reading but he gives a lot of LITTLE assignments that really help your grade. Doesn't take attendance and a very nice man if you don't ask stupid questions.

he's a very nice guy who knows a lot about the subject and is interesting to talk to. however his tests are very difficult, you really need to know the material, and his voice tends to put you to sleep. gives a lot of little assignments for points, but not nearly enough to get you by if you don't do so well on the tests.

His voice is....interesting. You will be bored in this class but trust me if you dont go you'll miss some information you'll see on a test. So just grit your teeth and bear with it.

Seriously, I this guy is great. He helped me so much, allowed me to move tests, talked to me when I was stressed out. He's great!!

Not the easiest class, but he gives you all the notes so you just have to follow along...funny guy and nice...willing to help you if you ask..gives you sample tests and questions every day w/answers that are on every test!

Not an easy class. Must read the book! Tests are all MC, and he gives you sample test questions and questions of the day (several of which appear on the tests). He gives you outlines, which he follows during lecture. Plus, the info. is really interesting. I'd recommend this class, but you have to be willing to work.

Class is somewhat difficult. Attendence not mandatory but you really need to be there if you want to do well. Make sure you have the lecture outlines and note taking will be much easier. Tests cover a lot so please don't wait until the last minute to read and go over the information. Very nice and helpful professor but class is pretty boring.

nice guy, boring class. he just rambles most of the time. he can be very helpful if you need it and the stuff he mentions in class is what's on the test so notice what he talks about. would recommend him but he's not fun. he got mad at our class a few times for being bored.

Prof. Kruggel is a nice guy with great intentions; however, he is boring and you have to force yourself to pay attention. He does not cover in class most of the info on tests but if you read the text and use the study guide, you should be ok. He's fair and always offers to help. You don't really have to do anything in the class but be sure to read!

Extremely nice but hard to follow! He never stays on track and ALWAYS talks about how much he hates the government! You NEVER turn in work but you have to do it because the tests are based on the worksheets and textbook! READ THE TEXT!!!

Took him for Psychopharmacology- it sounded like the most interesting course under that heading for the psych requirements. Difficult class but this guy knows his stuff. I managed a C in the class (grade is based on 4 tests- 400pts). He always offers to help and answers any questions. If you're looking for the easy way out this isn't for you.
