Great teacher. No book to buy (saves 100 dollars), gives study questions so test isn't a shocker. There is a review day before the test. Study questions are extra points. Not too difficult of a class. Do the questions and you will do well.

Excellent teacher! Morris is very funny and energetic in class. He goes over practically the whole quiz the day before and allows you to use a 3x5 card on quiz day. Makes science interesting

This class is very easy and interesting. Morris is clear and concise. There is a review before each test. Easy A.

Easy A. No Book to buy. seven quizzes, drop the lowest. If you do well you may not have to take the last quizz. His lab is also easy. He may be a little boring but that's because no one participates in class. Too many highschool (mentality)kids spoil the class.

Easiest class. Very fun class. Very cool guy. No book. Many field trips. Work in groups, but tests are individual, but still easy. Class is only half a semester long. The amount of work that you will do to get a C in another class will easily get you an A here, just be on point from the start. EASY!

Extremely easy class and interesting too. True, we had a book this semester but I doubt he will use it next semester. 4 very simple tests and 12 online quizzes (automatic A's on those although they arent worth much.) Recommended teacher and class.

Lectures are unclear and disorganized. Not a great teacher. Gives four MC exams-use a notecard.Shows vidoes many times instead of teaching. Treats students like they are still in high school. Many people in his class slept and ditched. He does take attendance. More then four absences= he drops you.

Easy teacher. Can pass easily as long as you go to class. Will drop after 3 absences because he takes attendance everyday. Exams are taken from study questions & he allows notecards. If you go to class regularly and not study extra hours, you will pass his class. Final was another quiz, non comprehensive. Easy & great teacher.

Excellent teacher who knows his stuff. His class is very easy and does not expect much from you. Just doing the study guide should get you an easy A on the exams as they are for the most part simple logic should solve. He does not try to trick you in any way. Definitely recommend.

this class is EXTREMELY easy. but its probably one of the most boring you can possibly take. over half the class only shows up for the tests. just do all the study questions and make a 3x5 card for the test and youre set. its painfully boring. no need to attend the class

I'd only take the class if you're interested in this kind of stuff. Do the Study Guides! They help a lot on the quizes. He's kind of old school and makes cheesy jokes, but he's a good professor.

If I hadn't had Mr. Morris, I know for a fact I would have flunked this class! He is kind, knowlegeable and VERY patient with science challenged people like myself! I have referred him to many of my friends and even my daughter becaues of his down to earth attitude and teaching styl and he didn't torment his class with unnecessary info.

ok, so i was so scared to take envs, but i took it w/ mr.morris during the summer and it was such a cool class. i liked it more then i thought i would. he is an amazing teacher and i would most def recomend him. you can't go wrong!!

Class is dull and the lectures make you not want to attend. It's based quizzes and homework that is 1 point each. He gives you study guides that are mostly helpful but still confusing. He makes a lot of jokes that only he finds funny. Really didn't like class,skipped A LOT,managed to pass. I usually love school and science but I couldn't take it.

He is such a kind teacher.I took his lecture & lab at the same time & both were very interesting.He is very passionate about what he does & is very helpful with students.In lecture he let's you use a note card on the test and the only homework he makes you do actually helps you study for his tests.The labs are trips to parks which are enjoyable.

Tom is a very good teacher. He is pretty funny & his class is not too boring. The best thing is the setup of his class, he doesn't take attendance & u just take a test every couple weeks. Not hard at all if u study even just a little & he'll give you all the help you need if u just ask.

Professor Morris is a very nice guy. He has his own website which I found to be very helpful. He gives great study guides for exams and allows the use of one 3x5 notecard. He loves what he does and it shows in his lectures. I highly reccomend him. His Lab is also a fun class. Not too difficult..

His tests are easy to get A's on if you just pay attention in class, ask questions, and for his online portion of the class, try and Ace it because those are mostly the questions on the test. Great class! Great professor! I took the online class, a lot of work but very interesting. Theres a video assignment each week along with a quiz on it and a turnitin assignment which is the most work. NO EXAMS just 2 quizes each week and 1 turnitin assignment with 5 questions very easy. Great class highly recommend!

Lecture: EASY class. Just do the online quizzes and you're good. Pretty much everything on the quizzes are on the exam. 3x5 notecard allowed. Lowest Test dropped (including FINAL!). Take his LAB class at the beginning of the semester and it will pretty much go hand in hand with lecture. Really great and kind teacher.

I took his online course and I must say I had learned a lot about the Earth's environment. Although it can be hard to get a grade above a C if you are not very thorough on your writing assignments. Overall, I would recommend this class compare to others.

Mr. Morris's class is simple. Attendance is not very mandatory. Just has long as you understand the study guides that he puts online, do the online quizes, and watch the videos that he puts online you'll do fine. He even allows you to use a cheatsheet on the tests which is extremely helpfull. Overall its a pretty cool course.

Very entertaining professor and likes to joke around. Some content is boring but he tries to make it as lively as possible. Allows one note card for tests and as long as you take the online reading and video quizzes you should have no problem. Great guy!! The book is required for some reading assignments so you should probably get it.

Class is so easy. He has a great sense of humor and always makes the class laugh. He has his own website. 3 quizzes with 3 attempts each section before a test which is aldo super easy since they are based off the quizzes. Textbook not necessary. Easy A or at least a B.

Mr. Morris is a great professor. He encourages his students not only learn about the surrounding, but also understand how the nature works. Exams are easy (similar to the online quizzes) and he gives you a lot of hints so make sure you don't miss any class. Ask questions and DON'T be a MORON who sits in the back, complains and sleeps! Suuuper nice guy. Very willing to help you if you need it. Tests are cake if you study his reading material on his website and take all the quizzes for each section. Lectures are BORING but you really don't have to come to class if you read the book and go through his website material. Likes students to "stand out". =)

Morris is a very nice guy with a good sense of humor. Only had him for the lab, wish I would have taken him for lecture as well. Very clear and goes into depth on any questions you may have. His lab was very fun and easy. Make sure you show up and complete the work, which usually consists of drawing plants. Great class and teacher!!

I hate to say it cuz he's such a nice teacher but his class would put me to sleep. Thank goodness he didnt take role so i pretty much didnt show up for class except for tests and i still walked away with an A :) How? Just read the material required from his website and do the quizzes. If you still dont pass, you dont deserve to be called a student.

This professor is very straight forward. 5 tests, no projects, no hw, no final. You don't even have to go to class. Just read the chapters (he writes his own book and posts it online) and show up for the tests which are really easy. 3x5 notecard for exams. Lectures a tad boring, but bearable. Take him.

Mr. Morris is an awesome teacher and I'm glad I took his class. Before taking his class, I never even thought about the way that plants operate or the environment or any of that stuff. Be sure to ask questions, even if you think its a dumb question. When students ask q's it makes the class interesting.

Took his lab and lecture course at the same time. The lab field trips were fun and pretty interesting but could be warm if the weather is nasty. For his Lecture he bases your grade on 5 exams that are easy if you study. No cumulative final No HW. he wrote his own text book that he provides to you for free. This guy was great! I have taken this class in the past but have either dropped or flunked, but this time around something clicked, and I credit that to the professor. Loved his lab class, we basically went on a bunch of hikes. He focuses on plants way more than other environmental lab teachers. If you pay attention during his lectures in the field, the quizzes are very straightforward. Class felt way too long, but that's what you get with a 5 hour class

I took his Environmental Biology class during Spring 2015. If you have disability support services, I highly recommend getting a note-taker because he lectures at moderate pace and if you don't write fast, you won't survive. There's 5 exams. No homework, quizzes, or projects. Book is free online but you have to read the chapters multiple times.

He is a nice person. Only takes attendance during first week and exam days. If you're going to go to class be on time. Reading and understanding his book is key. If you fully read and reread the text, then you will be fine. Also lets you use a notecard on each exam. I cannot stress enough how important it is to read the book word for word.

Took his class during the summer and he is by far the most inspirational instructor i have ever met throughout my years of schooling! He drifts away from the traditional rigid way of teaching science (scientific method) and shows his students the true essence of science which is to aspire to discover. Also his readings are incredibly eye opening!

Tom is very passionate about science and he wishes his student were more passionate about it as well. His lectures are a bit long and monotone but I find the material presented to be entertaining. Grade is mostly based on the exams and allows a cheat flash card during exams. Okays laptops in class for lecture notes only! Wink*Wink*

Lecture Course: 5 Chapters written by him w/ 5 exams Each chapter has a video to watch and a study guide provided for exams. notecard allowed on exam is also worth 1pt. Very clear. Attendance is not mandatory but it is helpful. Reading and completing study guide guarantee you to pass. This class is ALL TESTS only take if you do well with studying

8 class meetings (6 field trips that are usually about 3-4 hrs long) All very interesting mostly in nature identifying plants, and environmental characteristics. Only take if you are physically capable of longer walks/hikes. If you stick by him and pay attention you'll do fine. Quiz and class work almost every meeting. final exam on last day.

Professor Morris is really passionate about the subject which makes the 2 hours worth of just sitting there not as unbearable. While lectures can get a little long and boring, he still keeps you engaged. But your grade is mainly dependent on the exams, so READ READ READ. AND DO THE STUDY GUIDES ON HIS WEBSITE. Prof. Morris is one of the most organized professors at Fullerton College. Your grade is based entirely on 5 chapter exams and 5 extra credit points. He wrote the textbook and offers it online for free on his personal website. He also uploads ALL of his lectures. You get extra credit for making cheat sheets! Take him for Environmental Biology!

Morris is a perfect professor. He lets you see a flashcard on the test. There is 5 chapter exams. For every flashcard you turn in its one extra credit point. The study guide is identical to the test. The first test study hard! Show up to class he gives a lot of goodies about whats on the test. I would recommend him

Learned so much from his class! If he is still teaching and you need to take ENVS 105 don't pass him up. A and B is very obtainable as long as you do reading, published his own book for class (money saver) Don't be intimidated by reading b/c his book is actually very interesting and informative! Great professor; really puts effort into making class lectures and readings interesting. Naturally funny guy, keeps the classroom lighthearted. Class is based on 5 exams which are moderately passable as long as you do the reading (class textbook used is of his own creation, made available for free online). Honestly one of my favorite prof at Fully.

Your grade is based on tests only so make sure to read, study, and make the 3x5 note card he allows. The book is written by him, its online and free. I personally never read any of the chapters but went to almost every class and made sure to write notes during lecture. Make sure to watch the videos he assigns. I ended up getting a B in the class.

Class is 6 weeks long, you have to print out a packet for each class. Every class except first and last is at a different location where you meet up at or you can ride with him in the school van. You basically go to these locations and he explains how to fill out packet, pretty easy. Quiz every class and cumulative final, easy class I got an A.

Intelligent and quirky! Loved this class and his lectures are interesting and insightful. Reading material is slightly heavy but easy to get through and he is very approachable and open to all questions. His passion was genuine which made his lectures great. Prof Morris is clear goes over the text but he goes over in more detail. My mistake was not annotating the online text. You don't have to pay for the text. Graded on 5 Exams and 5 Quizzes and he provides study guide. If you annotate the text and go over the reading, you will pass with an A

Prof. Morris made, what is usually a boring subject for me, interesting! You have 5 tests and 5 quizzes, lowest quiz gets dropped. He made his own book, it's free on his website, and he has study guides of about 80-110 questions. The actual tests are 33 MC and 6 short answer. I recommend that you take him, he's passionate and can be rly interesting

The lab class is interesting because you get to go to all these different places. Grade is based on quizzes that you take at the end of the class session and notes that you take as you walk around. Final is basically review on all the quizzes and classwork, so keep everything and just review it. Easy and fun class overall.

Mr. Morris inspired my love for environmental science and his lab is great too. I hate science but he made it fun and interesting I was never board in his class I looked forward to being in his class. There is a lot of reading but if you pace yourself it shouldnt be too bad. The reading he gives us is actually interesting and fun to learn.

This class is only based on quizzes that you take every week. In total there are 16 quizzes based on the reading of the week two of the lowest grades get dropped. Class is easy if you are a good test taker and no extra credit.

One quiz every week. He does not give extra credit so make sure you are passing those quizzes. I believe he drops the lowest quiz score so there is your bonus. Labs aren't that difficult because he explains it, but it is just listening to him speak and write down what he tells you. No need to buy anything. Write those notes, they'll help a lot.

Mr. Morris is by far one of the best teachers! He genuinely cares about the topics and his students. I took his fully online lecture and lab course. The class is pretty simply laid out. Every week there is a lecture video and quiz. Although, you HAVE TO watch the lecture video. You will not pass otherwise. Such a good teacher, I loved the class.

Literally such an easy class. There's weekly reading and a reading quiz. That's it. the quizzes were usually 12 questions--10 mc and 2 short answer(1-2 sentences). It's pretty much the same thing for his lab, ENVS 105LF! Prof Tom would also email the class every week letting us know what to expect for the upcoming week, which was helpful!

Very interesting class to take for non science majors. It's just reading, lecture, and one quiz per week.That's it no exams or projects not even hw assignments. His lectures are easy to follow, but make sure you do the reading cause that's where the quiz questions come from. Quizzes are typcially multiple choice with at least 2 write in questions.

Professor Morris is an incredible professor. He provides his own book, which is organized by himself. He makes sure you understand the material, he answers all your questions and you can always reach him outside of class. His lab class is extremally educational and fun. If you pay attention, do the work, and study you wont have a problem passing.

His lectures are based on the reading, so make sure to at least skim the material. He enjoys student engagement and discussion during his lectures. His tests are always due on Sunday and usually multiple-choice.

You go to 5 different places throughout this course, 2 of them twice. Every place has an activity packet that you complete and turn in during the lab as well as any quiz you take. If you don't have a ride, he has a van that can hold 11 passengers plus the professor. My only advice: I recommend taking this lab during the fall when it's cooler.

Professor Morris is such a great prof. He wrote the book we use, and he posts a pdf version which means it's free. There is no homework. All grading is strictly on weekly quizzes. You have to read and do watch the lecture. Quizzes are short 10 multiple choice and 2 short answer. As long as you read you should be fine.

Prof Morris is great! Took the in-person class and in-person lab & would say both are easy. They both have no homework and grade is only base on short quizzes. For the normal class if you want to pass you must read the textbook (free) and do the study questions. The answers are in the reading.

This Professor was the best teacher at Fullerton College. His lab is basically going outside to take a hike. The Lab and Quizzes are super easy. He tells you exactly what the questions will be so there are no surprises. You can tell he really cares about the class and the students. One thing that does bother him is no participation. He is an amazing professor. His lectures are easy to understand and if you do all the reading and answer the study questions you are guaranteed to pass the class.

The lab notes that were given are supposed to be printed or else 5 points are deducted. There are fees the first couple of meetings on some of the locations of 2 dollars. Some of the locations are pretty far but it's okay if you show up late! Quizzes are memory based and dependent on the notes. Fairly easy and mostly group based.

Professor Morris is very nice and caring. Every single class except the first one, we go to a mountain/beach/arboretum and print out the packets he provides unless you guys want a 5 pt deduction for not bringing your own packet, where he will provide one instead. Take field notes, and a simple quiz at the end. Then we go home. Extremely recommend!
