This is the 2cd course i have taken with Tom, and i am not the only one in that boat. There's a reason for that-- He's a great teacher. Go to one of his classes and you will learn about media and the world, and most importantly, about yourself.

He is one of the great professors out there. Tough but fair and if you participate you will learn a lot. I was inspired to take more of his classes after my experience with the first, he makes learning fun!

Tom is awesome! I have taken 2 classes with Tom COM 101 and COM 102 both being online classes. I learned more in both of those classes than any other college credit course that I have taken. Tom is understanding, but expects alot from his students.

Tom probably upped my IQ by 8 or 9 points. Bless his silly republican heart and TAKE HIS CLASS!

When you walk into Tom's class on the first day, you see a man who is 59 going on 21. Tom is fun, enthusiastic,personable and makes learning fun. Tom is that one teacher that has truly changed my life and I'm so grateful for that. Rumor has it that hes retiring after the Fall 2005 semester. =0(

Prof. Proietti is one of MCC's greatest assets. He challenges one's critical thinking skills and brings out a student's potential. Take any course he's instructing if you value your education. He also impresses as a mentoring role model. Student's learn far more from this man than what he teaches in lecture.

AWESOME,GREAT,SUPER,LOVING GUY! Loves what he does and cares about every single one of his students. He will help you with anything, and will teach you so much. Not only about COM but LIFE! His classes are very intresting, fun, exciting, the list goes on! He will never forget you and will make a huge impact on and in your life. I'm currently attending the University of Miami and $40,000 later I wish there were a professor near as good as Tom. Because of this guy I got more interested in communication. I wish I could have taken my four years of college with Tom, he is without a doubt the best ever.

Mr. Proietti is inspiring and gave me confidence where I had none. He is knowledgeable, amazing, kind, challenging (why would you want an easy class?) and I wish he were immortal so he could continue teaching forever.

the BEST teacher ive ever had through out my whole life! Not only a prof, but a friend. Ive never skipped a class (and i skip all my other ones). Leaves a wonderful impact on you. Makes me laugh, enjoy class, and feel confident. BEST PROF. ever! (and the semester isnt even over yet!). HIGHlY recommended =)

101 & 109 - Two classes with Tom online. He is a professor's professor; a true gem. He cares about his students; I havent met a student who doesnt love him. I can't wait to take another class with him, and I cant wait. I wish he'd take the other COM class I'm taking. He is fair, and has a way of building his students' confidence.

Tom is by far the best professor I have ever had. After moving on to a four year college after MCC, nobody has come even close to having the knowledge and skill as a professor like Tom does. GO TO LONDON WITH HIM! It will be the most rewarding experience and you will learn more about yourself than the British media (although you learn that too).

He is the greatest professor I've ever had. He brings up highly controvercial topics, but if you support your oppinions with reason, they will be respected.

Took COM101 online. Not sure where my discussions went wrong. I had the correct number of entries and I had an A in the course and my final grade was a A- at the end. Other than this it is a fun course as long as other students take part in the discussion. I feel my grade suffered because I had to few to discuss with.

He is a very nice guy. He talks about himself and his wife and grandkids all the time. Lots of take home quizzes that he doesn't check, just gives 100s on. LIBERAL TO THE MAX! He either agrees or disagrees with you. If he thinks your wrong he will say you are wrong but thats your opinion. Overall a very great man and a great teacher.

He was a teacher I will remember for many years, I definitely recommend being in one of his classes, hes awesome.

My first class back in school and he gave me tons of confidence. Assignments were fun, really made you think, it's not a breeze, easy A class, there is a lot of writing.

I've taken two of Professor Proietti's classes online and have only had positive experiences. He is passionate about communications, and has a diverse background of knowledge to share. He will get back to you quickly, and is extremely helpful. If you do the work, you will have success in the class. He also is funny and appreciates humor in work.

Tom is always available! He is always willing to help students, sometimes I feel like he does toooo much, but what a down to earth guy, and it shows that he cares very much about his students. Oh and he is veryyyy fair. Very. Ive never heard anything negative about him, and I am so thankful for having met him, and taken his class. GO TOM!

I took the class online, however he was easily accessed and got back to questions quickly. The assignments were practical and the class gave a good feel for what a job in the PR field might entail.

He's a wonderful teacher. However I feel that he is a bit too harsh when grading assignments. He gives great comments but low grades.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the courses I have taken with Tom. He is a professor who is extremely experienced. While he does take a bit of time to tell stories and express the joy he has for his life, I find I don't mind too much. I'd rather learn about my teacher on top of learning the material only. Tom is awesome. e he a great teacher and will help students with anything they need. It can get rough if you disagree with something he says, but he will never base your grade on it. He was on me and a couple kids in my class about smoking cigs all semester and debates were had, but we all still did very well. Take his class you'll love him!

I took his class on-line. Not a bad class overall. I wish he was more into attachments instead of just drop boxes, but no biggie. He grades fair and all he askes is you put effort into your work. He responds fast to e-mails. I would recomend him.

Intro to Public Relations - Tom is a GREAT teacher; subject matter is fascinating; if you have a good imagination/can think on your feet, you will do well - I wish I had discovered PR 30 years ago because my career would be totally different. TAKE THIS CLASS.
