I had him for Managment, Marketing, and Salesamaship. I like his ties and he laughs at my shoes. Studing will get you an A. I got a B in only one of his classes and that was the Management class. Watch the reading of the test. His test are not that bad. You will learn.

Great Teacher. He teaches the material out of the book, then he explains the book work with real life situations. The tests are easy, he tells you whats on the test the class prior to the test. all you have to do is study. Easy A :-)

Prof. Walker is a great teacher, is clear in what he is teaching and definately knows what he is talking about. Just study the materials given and you will earn a good grade.

Great Teacher. He cares how his students do in his class. He is straight forward and tells you what you need to know for the tests. If you don't pay attention though his curveballs will get you. I would definately take him again.

Walker is a great teacher, you can easliy get a good grade if you just pay attention in class and read the handouts (which really help).He is easy to talk to and is very helpful and is always in a good mood. Tom Walker is a really nice guy who is very encouraging. He knows what he's talking about when it comes to this stuff. Not hard class, reviews the class before tests, and my god is it word for word. He's cool, and reminds me of a cool grandpa or something. I would definately recommend him, and would take more classes with him.

Took the 6 week summer session with him, one of the easiest and best classes I've took. Too many reviews make this teacher seem hard, but he's so easy. I never read the book, just his handouts, and got 95+ on every test. He curves tests a lot and gives extra credit on the last exam, finished with a 99. Just read the packet he gives you!

An amazing professor who will actually teach you something! I have taken 3 classes so far with him and am scheduled to take another with him this fall. I would HIGHLY reccomend him to anyone who wants a fair teacher who is intelligent and comprehensive.

Genuinely great man. He acually cares about his students. He even tells you when he is going over something that will be on a test. All you have to do is show up, take notes, and listen to his review. Just read every word of his test carefully. This will be the 3rd class I have taken from him. He is easily one of the best techers at SCC.

I took Walker for Western civilization to present. He was the best history teacher ever. Ive never been able to keep up with the differnt years or even the eras. My mom had had for some classes and recomended him. Im am very thankful. I learned so much. Just pay attention to what he says and study the notes carefully and you should do good.

This was an online class. As long as you read your chapters, take your quizes and do well on your exams,and participate in the discussions, easy A. If you do not keep up you will not survive. Along the lines of the discussions, grammar and spelling counts. Be sure to proof read your response prior to posting it.

Amazing professor. I'm usually ADD about everything but he made me love the subject, as well as learn from it. He goes in depth on what's on the test and although they may be difficult you really do walk out of his class retaining a lot of knowledge. He gives you all the material you need. Reading the book will help you refresh what was said. He gives tricky test. They are multiple choice,but there are a lot of except questions. You rather know the material or you do not. Study a few minutes a day and you will be fine.

Tom Walker is a great teacher. If you have the opportunity, TAKE HIM. You wont need a book just common sense(listen to his lecture he will give you every test answer), you will have one homework "project" all semester (takes maybe 40 minutes) and his tests are simple multiple choice. A+ teacher

I have a ton of respect for this man. He taught US History as "story time" discussing issues with a flare that made them easy to remember. He was in the service himself with first hand experience through some of these times. He was "to the point" but often made jokes to keep the class engaged. I would gladly take another class with him.

Professor Walker is by far my favorite professor at Seminole State College. I have taken him three times for different classes. He's repetitive, but it's for your own good. DON'T MISS HIS TEST REVIEWS. If you are there for the review, you will pass the test. Euro-history was composed of four tests and no research paper. Easy A, interesting class.

He is the best professors in his department. I can't recommend him enough! I took marketing in the Spring of 2012, received an A. It was extremely easy and interesting. Mr. Walker is awesome! Very helpful, reminds you when things are due, lets you know how he wants them so you'll get the best grade. All the the tests are on sakai so you don't have to pay for connect, test area fairly easy if you read the book. A little hard on grammar but very helpful, wants you to get a successful business career.

Prof. Walker is a truly dedicated instructor with his students' understanding first and foremost in mind. This was an online course, but when I had several questions, he immediately answered them, either via phone call or Canvas e-mail. I wish all of my professors had his mindset and ability.

Professor Walker is awesome. He gave us extra credits for participation in class and perfect attendance. Not to mention his lecture was fun to attend. He will give us hint about what will be on the test, but you will still need to read the textbook if you want an A. There was only one paper for the class and he gave us about two month to write it.

Great class. De left the modules open and you could work at your own pace. It was a pretty easy class. I took it online and didn't have really anything to do with the professor but I really didn't need him for anything. His instructions on assignments were pretty clear and I didn't have any trouble with anything so I never had to reach out to him.

He posts all the assignments and you can work ahead. Course contains 1-2 quizzes/wk. You spend the semester working on a template of a marketing plan for a company you choose. This class is great if you work a full time job. Everything is open for you to work ahead. The Prof has curves and is very helpful. The only thing I'd say is he's tough on essay grading.
