very sweet man; knowledgable and polite; one of the coolest professors I've ever had
Best teacher better
best ever
Good teacher for international business. Offers online lecture notes for classes and powerpoints. Gives online study reviews before tests.
Worst teacher ever. I don't know why everyone thinks he's so great. He doesn't have any concern for his students, he has a strong accent, he's arrogant and he teaches new material right before the test. BEWARE!!!!!!
that last rating is bull sh--, the professor is realy great and if you cant pass his class with a fair amount of effort, get out of the school you dont belong in college!
Anyone that gives this teacher a great rating is full of sh--. They either like not being able to get anything out a class or have a personal relationship with the teacher. I do not know how this teacher got to be able to teach a university level course.

if you cant pass this class.....good luck in life!
He is bananas, which makes him great...his class is very interesting and he is very funny
Very good teacher for international business, very knowledgable and interested in teaching, enjoyable class. Tests reflect what was discussed in class. Provides Powerpoints and review session before each test.
He is definitely NOT the best teacher ever. his lectures are not boring, but he takes roll and is very hard to understand. Eventhough he reviews and may tell you that you don't have to read the chapters...don't believe that...you have to read the chapters
He is a very organized and fair professor. Although you cannot pass his class without effort and studying but he provides ample material that is very helpful. He will spend time to personally explain the material provided that you meet him halfway. (also makes material funny at times)
My neice could pass this class and she's only one! If you fail this class...well, go back to Grade School!
Pretty easy class. The tests were short and not very hard since he gave extensive reviews before each one. I missed several classes, left early a number of times and I found it hard not to catch up on my beauty sleep during his lectures, and still got a B.
i think the tests were very hard and he wasnt very clear about anything that he taught

He was rude at times and your grade is based on 3 tests. The class is boring and the exam questions are very tricky.
This is, by far, the best teacher at FAU.He speaks over 4 languages: Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian. He has lived everywhere as an Expat and he knows the material really well. He is very friendly and sarcasticly funny, but beware; if you are a slacker and expect to just sit there and pass this class - you will fail. A loser is a loser anywher
He made the class very interesting and easy.
This class is based on 3 tests and the test questions are really tricky so I would suggest not taking this teacher if you have trouble with multiple choice..the only good thing is you have the chance to bring up your grade with an optional final but over all it is a difficult course to pass
VEry funny teacher. Some questions on test are tricky. He makes mutiple tests difficult. But if you attend class and listen to his lectures and read the textbook and understand the material, you should be fine. He gives you an optional final that you can take to raise your grade & he also gives you 10pts for class participation. Pretty good teacher
This professor makes class enjoyable. He is very funny and could teach this in his sleep. ***WARNING*** He does not like interruptions so please do not sleep, talk, eat in his class. He will call you out. Study for his exams because he is very good at making Multiple choice exams. One of my best classes at FAU. :)
He is a great professor, very talented and he has a lot of Experience. The book is not needed at all, but that is only if you attend all his lectures, as he goes trough all the material and gives power point slides to study. His test are crystal clear, well if you study. Lectures are fun and informative and you will learn a lot if you want to.
Don't get the book. He goes by what is on his power points. He explains the material pretty well. I recommend this professor
he is one of the best professors I ever had at FAU. He makes class very intersting by telling us real life stories and showing us videos on how to relate to the material. Great sence of humor and super eassy class. Take him!!!
Great class. He has tons of experience and relates ALL the material to modern day events. The tests are based completely on his powerpoint lectures, which are available online. He demands respect and will call you out for disturbances. Final grade is based solely on 4-5 test grades. If you go to class and pay attention; it's an easy A.
His lectures are verrrrrry boring. you dont need to read the book, just pay attention in class and read your notes and you will do good
He is the rudest and most obnoxious professor I have ever had! The class is easy, don't waste your money on the book, follow his powerpoints, and when taking his tests, choose answers carefully.
He puts his students down and he is rude! Tests are kinda tricky. Final is optional. Do NOT talk, use your phone, or even breath in his class. He hates interruptions. I would avoid him if possible.
Clarity is questionable (I personally had no problems but friends did). PRINT POWERPOINTS AND REVIEW FOR 1 HR BEFORE TEST...YOU WILL GET AT LEAST A 'B'. Book not required; don't waste your money. If you are going to text, sit in back. Very comfortable with the subject. Overall a funny guy who's teahing style may turn off a lot of people.
Entertaining professor, easy class. Don't buy book. Study ppt and reviews and it's an easy A. If you don't have to take the optional final you will be done 2 weeks early.
He is hard to understand with his thick accent. His tests are very tricky and are hard you can study a lot and still get a bad grade on the exam. The tests are on the powerpoint lecture; one word will change the entire meaning of the test answers read all questions very carefully otherwise look forward to earning a C as the highest possible score.
Professor Lenartowicz is a cool professor. U don't need the book and if u do good on your first 2 exams you just might exempt your final. I WARN YOU TURN OFF YOUR CELL OR YOU R IN TROUBLE. He will help out and avoid his TA's
If you need this class as a pre-req for your degree, take this professor to fill it. He has a sly sense of humor, presents the material very well (relates it to real world scenarios), and grades very fair. To do bad in his class, talk on your cell phone don't download the notes - i.e.: be a lazy student. Well educated as well. Take him if you can.
Def recommend! Dont buy the text, I never opened it, just download his notes off blackboard. Everyone complained about his tests being so tricky, honestly you just have to READ, hes the kinda professor that changes one word in a sentence so if you dont pay attention, u'll get it wrong. 4 tests, 10% part. final replaces lowest. Turn off ur phone!
worst teacher ever, majority of class with a failing grade. Laughs at students who fail the course during the lecture. Tests are tricky so if you are a C student you will fail. Horrible teacher.
Easiest class I have taken so far at FAU. There are four tests and an optional final. There is not need for a book. All of the information you need is in the powerpoints. I would recommend attending but most of the time I would daydream a still get an A on the test. He's also funny. If anyone thinks this class is hard, they aren't gonna go far
Very knowledgeable person.... Great professor! Take him if you can
Very easy class. Tests come from powerpoint slides ONLY. No need to buy the textbook. Tests are more about understanding the material so it helps to go lectures and listen - he's pretty funny too. He LOVES to call people out about cell phones/computers/talking and will take points off your final grade - so be careful about that.
Prof. Lenartowicz is a very profound man. Speaks a lot of languages and have a vast amount of experience and knowledge; very unique sense of humor. He loves the subject as he has engage in internation business most of his working life. After completing his class, my view and understanding of International Business and Globalization vastly magnified.
he is the greatest! he knows a lot of everything. he always brings you examples of current events. you dont have to buy a text book, just read his power points.the best professor ever
Professor Lenartowicz is an excellent teacher and very knowledgeable. He gives plenty of examples and explains well. He has a great sense of humor too (his laughs are hilarious!) The only thing hard about this class are his tests which come from the notes only. You have to really understand this material to pass. The tests are very tricky!
I wish more professors were like him. He is very clear about what you need to know and straight to the point when it comes to the exam. Go to lecture, take notes, and then study PPT slides. There is no HW, you don't have to read the text, final is optional. If you listen in class and study/understand the slides, you will get a good grade.
You will learn new and interesting information in this class. Professor L. is knowledgeable and knows everything about worldwide topics and issues. The class requires minimal study time as long as you go to lecture, take notes, and read over your slides before the exam. Make sure to comprehend all the given material. No book required.
Can't teach. Overrated.
Witty, intelligent, great teacher. Probably one of the best, if not the best at FAU. Has so much real world experience and is extremely knowledgeable. Doesn't take any crap, so just shut up and listen what he has to say. Also, don't fall asleep in his class or he will embarrass you lol.
This guy is smart, funny and makes this class interesting. He keeps things lively with his sly sense of humor and down-to-earth way of explaining topics. Tests come from powerpoint slides (no book needed) However, tests are tricky...you must READ quest. & answers VERY carefully before choosing answer! With minimal study time, you should get B.
worst teacher ever he thinks he is the wisest man on earth ....
Good professor. Funny. Makes class relatively interesting. Tests are easy but they have a few "tricky" spots. Just ask him during the test if you have doubts, he'll point you in the right direction. I never use the book and I have an A. Study his Powerpoints. Class Participation is important. Don't forget to turn off your cell phone.
He has a sense of humor when he teaches. He has a lot of insights in the field, which makes the lectures pretty interesting. Exams are based on the Powerpoint, but he test you on the your understanding. Questions can be tricky, so you need to read carefully. Overall, it's not a hard class but you have to study.
Great teacher, very strict in his class. he answers questions and encourages discussion. tests are kind of tricky but if you take good class notes- you won't have a problem.
Very good teacher. If you want to do good in the class you have to attend and be involved. Make sure you really get into lecture and read the powerpoints. Tests can be tricky , so you need to really understand the material. I would take him again, learned a lot!
Class is very hard if you don't go to lectures or study well. He's a nice guy, but you have to really study and listen to him during lectures to pass the exams.
Material is tricky, and if you dont go to class, you lose. I didnt pay attention at first and I got a D and F on the first two exams. But professor isnt hard and gives you the material you need to pass the exams. Put the effort into studying and you will definitely pass his class
DON'T BUY THE BOOK & GO TO CLASS! His power points have all the information you will need for the test but they're are very vague so by going to class you will understand exactly what the power points mean. He's a pretty good professor and "tries" to be funny. He doesn't like when students are on their phones. Didn't study much for the test .
Awesome teacher, you don't need to do anything the whole semester, no book needed, attendance not mandatory. His lectures are very general and interesting. But if you miss - everything for exam is in his power points. He has very good disposition, jokes and tells stories. Exams are easy. This class is perfect to take online too.
Tests are very tricky. Be careful. I do not recommend this professor. Take with someone else, if you can.
He doesn't use the book and says the test will be based off his power points. The power points are very vague so they don't really help you. You are better off reading the book, in my opinion. Exams are 25 multiple choice questions and he doesn't curve.
The lectures are very long and boring. He goes off topic frequently and his tests are tricky. I do not recommend this professor.
He seemed to be a funnygreat professor the first day of class, he had the entire class engaged but after the first class that all changed. He is very boring and his lectures and PP are terrible for studying. After the first exam, more than 60% of my class was not passing. Tests are super tricky. No book needed. attendance mandatory. No curve.
Like other people said he is a great person overall. One thing is he HATES to be interrupted. Got to use the bathroom? Go before class or he will make you feel like your 5 years old. Lectures help but you don't have to be there for its in the power points. Good class just wish he wouldn't stop class to call out someone leaving the classroom.
Tries to be funny but half the time I can't even understand him. The exams are pretty hard, you really need to study. I have to force myself to stay awake in his class and his power points make no sense and are really vague!
The most recent comments sum this class up. He tries to be funny sometimes but overall he is very boring. His power points are terrible to study from. His tests are super tricky. No book or attendance needed but I recommend trying to pay attention (goodluck!) 25 MC tests with a,b,c,d, AND e. No curves even if more than half the class fails a test.
His exams are tough. He gave 5 and I passed with a C because the exams were hard. I had the book but it was still hard. It's the way he words his questions so be careful. STUDY HIS POWER POINTS. Most of the answers come from there. He gives no assignments but gives a few extra-credit. And go to the TAs office hours to look over your past exams.
First of all, this professor really cares about his students I mean really cares, but some of the students don't. He always encourages students to go to office hours for help. He gives SO MANY extra credit opportunities because he really wants the students to learn. Yes, his tests are tough, so DO NOT wait until the last minute to STUDY like me.
I want to give credit to Tomasz where it is due. He cares about his students a lot, good extra credit help (one is to watch a fantastic movie), and is very amusing. His exams have a few tricky questions, but they're not hard. Everything is based off powerpoints. He is there for you even during testing. Never hesitate to ask for help if not sure.
Slight accent but you get used to it. He is always saying jokes that relate to the topics to try to keep you interested. Tests come straight from the lectures, make sure u understand them before the test. Attend lectures, review before the test and you should pass with a good grade. No textbook needed.
1) Dr. L is much better than students make him out to be. 2) Watch out for the wording of the questions and answers on his exams. 3) He is very funny during his lectures. 4) 4 Exams, Participation, a Paper, & an optional final 5) As long as you don't be a jerk in class and don't interrupt him, you will be OK. 6) Don't buy the book
He's a good professor. Everyone makes him out to be so terrible. Just 4 exams and optional final. Don't need the book. Study his power points and understand them and you will do just fine!
Professor Lenartowicz's class was not bad. Have to go to class to do well on the exams since powerpoints don't have full info (examples he gives in class help). Class consists of 4 exams, a paper at the end in order to boost your grade (only if you got an A on one of the exams) & optional final. Don't need to buy book. Lengthy class but hes great.
I like this guy. Has a sense of humor and gives some assistance. His tests were a bit tricky and I struggled to do well with those but I still ended up with a 80% average.
first 2 exams are painful you need to thoroughly read his powerpoints & know all the details along with paying attention in class. The last 2 exams follow the powerpoints a lot better so they are easy. He seems mean but I heard he's nice if you go to his office. Definitely do the paper and the cumulative final, & go to the final review, no book
This could be my first time to drop the class because there is no way to score high on tests with this professor. He is proud to announce the average statistics on his 4 exams: 1stD, 2ndC, 3rdB, 4thC. I should have listened to other people about tests being tricky: he words the question to confuse you and gives similar answer options. Avoid!
Tests are hard, some questions are confusing and not from the book or lecture. The course itself is easy but pr. Lenartowicz makes it impossible to get an A with tricky tests. Average grade in class is C. Lectures are extremely boring. One plus there is no homework. Opportunity to replace a bad test grade with a paper, only if you got A on exam
More than 51% of the class is failing (grades lower than C). Tests are worded to confuse you, even if you study his power points and exam reviews it won't matter much, only 25 questions on tests, so if you made a couple of mistakes your score drops greatly. He announced how he is so proud of his tricky questions, he probably enjoys failing people.
Classes are extremely boring! TEST are really tricky! He's boring! Material is irrelevant! Slides not even on PowerPoint! Avoid this professor!
Boring class! TEST extremely difficult, really unfair professor, Avoid this professor.
Lectures long, tests are tough, tricky questions, but ALL the answers are on the powerpoint slides. He's quite amusing. To pass, just understand the powerpoint slides. Don't look at your phone. He'll take it away and your participation points will decrease.
He is a great teacher, but his lectures are long and not too interesting. He clearly tells you what you need to do to pass the class. Only has 4 Exams and a final and/or a paper that are optional. Read over the powerpoint slides and do the exam review and you will pass the class.
Don't be fooled by the other reviews. This professor is great for those of us who don't mind paying attention, listening for a couple of hours. He will shock you when he reprehends the usual student who can't put their phone away. Other than that, I think he is fair, and to the point. My advice for his class, take notes, do not rely on his slides.
I've got respect for this professor. He's not a mean guy but in a way he'll make you work for your grade. He was helpful and told me what I needed to do to pass. His tests were tricky so read the questions carefully.
Dr. Lenartowicz is one of the most interesting people I've met. He's a nice man, and will take the time to check in with you if you show your face in his office or before/after class. He has a dry sense of humor so some people are off put by that, however I think he's hilarious, and he's one of the best professors I've had at this school.
I didn't find his test questions tricky, as others did. They are based on lectures and PP's. However, if you try to memorize PP's, rather then know the material behind them, you won' be prepared and might find questions tricky. Overall not much to study, as most is logical and just makes sense, so just show up and listen. Impossible to fail.
Attendance optional. Tests seem to be tricky because he asks questions and then puts very similar answers in the choices. Textbook not needed. Just go to class and study powerpoint. Nice guy, good professor. Doesn't like use of phones during lecture.
this guy is super rude. he only grades on 4, 25 multi choice, exams and they're super tricky. if u just study the practice questions and the review a few times you should be good, but if you even talk to your classmate in class for a second he will kick you out and he is really annoying about phones. only good thing is that the book isn't mandatory
Nice guy but will call you out for phone use, GO TO CLASS print ppt 3 slides a page and take handwritten notes if you can, textbook is only $7 and reading it before class helps, test review he does goes back over powerpoints is ESSENTIAL to pass, and if you have good notes its easy to highlight what you need! Tests entirely from powerpoints.
Attendance is not mandatory, however I would highly recommend going. Don't be on your phone during the lecture, instead LISTEN. He's very straightforward on what he expects from his students, and does actually want you to succeed. Just put the time in, study, do the study guides, and you'll do great. Optional paper for those who get A on an exam.
His lectures make absolutely zero sense. Test questions are straight from powerpoints, but those are hard to study.
He is THE worst professor at the college of business. He does not care about his students. He has a big accent (which is not that bad but it was really hard to understand you had to be paying attention the entire time otherwise u were super lost). Take someone else. there was no way to study for his tests. Never available to help. :/ don't do it.
