A very nice, helpful and comical neurologist who knows how to lecture well. His labs and exams aren't that hard at all, and are all based on his lecture notes, so there's no need to buy the textbook.

Awesome prof. knows his stuff and teaches in a clear and intresting fashion, you walk away really knowing the work, only thing, his exams are all essays, so that's tuff, other than that great class and I would definitley recommend him-he's funny and smart.

A great bio teacher. You learn so much from this guy. You never knew bio was applied in everyday life. His tests are NOT MC fill ins or True or False. Strictly writing. I guess it's good in a way bc you can get partial credit. You don't even need the book! Study his notes and go to lecture!

prof Leely is very nice, only the students didn't study that y they didn't well in his class. he bithchy sometimes and like to make fun of students but i enjoyed to see how the students react they all shutttss hahahaha it funny lol he cool....

Professor Lee is an excellent professor. He is tough but it is only for your benefit. His test are all essay but his lectures and notes are great so the test are not hard. If you're looking for an easy A this isn't the class. You need to know all your notes, this class was hard for me. All tests are not multiple choice so if you did not study enough you are screwed. Also, he does not curve. He is a funny nice teacher and all but i did not like the lecture exams at all.

Best professor i've ever had in my college career yet. Really knows how to explain and make the students understand and also knows how to incorporate life examples to make things interesting. he's intimidating @1st but he's honestly the best prof ever! i didnt find his exams 2hard. he's extremely fair, gives a choice of essay questions and allows you to draw/write/list the answer out. review your notes on a daily basis and u would be fine.most of the material u would memorize right in class because he drills it into ur head. fun class!

Goes a bit fast some times so it can be hard to get down all the notes before he moves on. There is a lot of information to memorize but the tests are not too difficult if you study. This was probably the hardest I have ever worked for a grade, But in the end I feel I really understood the material. If you are going to be lazy don't take this class but if you really want to learn Bio, his your man since he really does teach u!

this guy is the best, anyone who does not like this professor is just plain stupid and should just give up on life. he is soooo interesting to listen to. i took him for bio 3 and taking him for anatomy in the summer of 2010, do not hesitate to take him run to him he is just to put it in one word the best

If you're serious about learning anatomy - not just flitting by and having a grade handed to you - but REALLY learning, this is a class for you. It's alot of material and you NEED to study, but Professor Lee keeps the course interesting and light with jokes and a good nature. Very helpful. Just be sure to review your notes and be prepared.

Honestly, the first couple weeks of class i was very frustrated by the "tough love" this professor gave to the class. However, i have never learned so much from any class. He scares you into REALLY learning the information and though it is by no way an easy A, i got so much out of this class. If u dont want to work hard dont take him

He is a very tough professor, he will joke and put you down. he will humiliate you, he will also tell you he is willing to give points on exams where its deserved and then say 'uh well nope' HE is difficult do not think that by talking to him abotu sports you will get an A. he doesnt care. you will learn alot, but will also kill your gPa.

Just Graduated PA school this year and I owe alot to this class and his extremely clear teaching style! PA education was extremely hard for most ppl but using the class notes from this class allowed me to do well. I don't know how much I can praise him... TY Prof Lee and please keep up the great work.

Though intimidating at times, Professor Lee is a great instructor who really knows his material. Do not take this course expecting to do minimal work; know everything that is discussed in class at all times! This professor is very strict. He gives impossible quizzes on material that you have not learned yet, and counts them in your grade. His exams are a lot of writing, but not bad if you pay attention to his lectures. His bark is a lot worse than his bite, tries to scare you into thinking his class is the hardest course, but it is relatively easy material. I ended up getting an A, and I definitely did not get a 96 average like he said was an A in the beginning of the semester.

One word: professional. This is probably the best Biology professor at LIU. Don't come into class expecting an A. You MUST study and trust me: you WILL learn. Just graduated with a PharmD from LIU. Prof Lee is the best, most of my friends had a hard time and had to drop out... but Prof Lee woke me up and I worked hard to study using his style. All the information I got from his BIO classes got me through the Pharm school with a breeze. thank you Prof Lee!

Prof Lee is an amazing professor, he really makes you want to learn. You can not miss class because you will miss out on a lot of info. The best professor I have ever had. Not only do you leave his class confident with actually knowing the material but he teaches you how to successfully complete any other class! Highly recommended. I took him during the summer and although it was somewhat difficult, I don't regret it at all.

Ok he is by far the best professor terms of clarity. He really made me want to come to everyone of his classes. His tests are straight from the notes Rewrite them!! I got 100 on da exams. Since Im limited to 350 words Il just say if you want an A in the class its actually quite simple. Rewrite all ur notes when you come home and your guaranteed around a 100 on the exams. I did. Study and re-write your notes. Exams are long and somewhat easy. Labs are either easy or just plain confusing. He makes you ask your classmates questions and will never give you a straight answer. I thought he was a great teacher, he just grades too harshly.

Tommy Lee is the best Bio professor if not professor in LIU. Physio was tough but it was interesting, engaging, and I learned. ALWAYS REWRITE NOTES AND RECORD LECTURES! There was 50 kids and dropped to 15. In the end he gave us extra credit to help our grades and he really made me not regret taking him. I know you are reading this, so THANK YOU!

Dr. Lee is awesome, His exams are easy you just need to know the information like your SS# I could have gotten a better grade with him , I just had a lot of issues . I did bad on his 1st test and I felt like my final was just as bad so I asked for a uw. However, dr. lee gave me a C+. I should have gotten an F thank you dr. lee.

This class requires a WHOLE LOT more work than my others as first semester prepharm student, rewrite all of your lecture notes 3-4 times and you'll ace his tests. Yeah it's a lot of writing and memorizing, but in the end you've actually learned and thanks to him I know how to study for future tests in other classes and ace them. Its hard work ngl

You have to work hard to get a good grade in this class-you HAVE to rewrite your notes and study them after class, create study groups, and you MUST BE IN CLASS. Missing one day is like missing a whole week. His tests are super taxing and VERY comprehensive, but you will never find a more clear or helpful teacher. I would gladly take him again.

He is probably the hardest professor at liu. Tests are all short answer and essay questions. Rewrite your notes. By the time you rewrite all your notes,you could probably write a thesis paper. Most of the notes are not just based on bio but also orgo,biochem,anatomy,etc. By the time you finish his class you would know the basics for other classes.

You will notice that rewriting your notes will go a long way for you. Do what he says in order to remember info. It's the only way to do well on exams since they're writing intensive. You will learn a lot, but he will kill your GPA not just for bio, but for other classes as well. Expect long lab reports, pop quizzes, constant revision of your notes, brutal essay exams, a dozen connect chapters due back to back, and the threat of being kicked out of class if you don't have your lab coat. I think it was the worst class ever. Never worked so hard for a class but I also never learned so much from a class. Yes, he is a difficult professor. That being said, his classes are VERY FUN, incredibly informative and he notices effort. If you end up having him, your other classes might suffer because you need to put a lot of dedication into this one. Study the way he asks of you - by rewriting notes. His exams are exactly as he says, no surprises.
